Comment: Cool mural out front. That’s about it. Rates go up about every 6 months. Unit smells like moisture, smoke, and garbage, clearly coming in from outside. Not humidity/environment controlled units. 7am to 7pm hours really suck. You don’t meet the mark, you’re locked in the gate. Coast highway is a nightmare at this spot, traffic all day, especially weekends. Getting a large truck, trailer, uhaul in/out is almost impossible Otherwise, an ok place to store things temporarily. Like less than a month. Many of my furniture items were ruined by moisture. It made its way into boxes and plastic bins. The only things not damaged were items that had several layers of wrapping and packaging.

Comment: Decent facility and security with fair prices. No 24 hr access. Management is terrible, office hours are wrong due to employees being late. I hate giving a bad review but the amount of my time that was wasted watching the office workers try to complete basic administrative tasks was unbearable. The facility was repainted while I was gone and overspray got on my stuff inside the unit. I also prorated my unit for an extra week and was charged for the full month 2 days later without my authorization. It’s a decent price and I was referred here from base but the staff, at least the lady I primarily interacted with, was totally incompetent and unprofessional.**updating my review due to the property manager personally reaching out to me and setting things straight. That was much appreciated!**

Comment: Update February 2023: 1st off I want to say that I was helping a friend of mine shop for a storage unit and this place has the best rates around and most reasonable move in deals. 2nd, there was a small problem and the on site general management team went above and beyond immediately to correct the situation. Thanks again!Great place to rent from. Very secure and very clean. The managers and office personnel are very attentive and very friendly. Very reasonable rates. Also, if you rent a space on the second or third floor, they have real elevators for you to take your stuff up in, not freight elevators. So you can ride with your belongings up to whatever floor you need.

They call every now and then to make sure that if we need anything or is there anything that has changed which is good because sometimes we lose track of time and we forget things from overwhelmed with other obstacles and situations in life. I was unable to make it on a Sunday before the office closed, but made arrangements over the phone and via email.Martha was very helpful and on top of everything, and communicated well...I needed a lock for the unit, and she made sure it was staged for me. I really appreciate that she thought to make a cut in the packaging. I had left my box knife, and likely wouldnt have been able to open it if she hadnt done that for me.Facility was clean.Stopped by roughly a week prior to renting the unit to get a look at the facility, buy boxes/tape/ etc, and get information from the staff on how the facility works. Very helpful, and they were not the least bit rude nor did they seem put off that I showed up 15 minutes prior to closing.I do wish they had slightly better lighting in the driveway area that youd park to unload/load. Inside the buildings are well lighted

Only downside is that my unit is on the third level and moving a 9ft couch into my unit using the stairwell was very difficult! Stairwell isn’t large enough to maneuver big items up the stairs.

Comment: My review is based on the experience I had with the 2 movers since they essentially did the job and represented the company.I wasn’t sure if I should get 2 movers and a truck or 3 movers and a truck (price difference per hour). I don’t have much stuff to move but several heavy items including a king bed, queen bed and a very heavy iron Dinner table and bench.Ange and Germaine were the 2 movers. They were stellar. Man, do they hustle. They were careful with each item and even asked if I wanted everything bubble wrapped, shrink wrapped and wrapped in blankets. They were ready o but I told them that only fragile items would be necessary to do so.They disassembled the bed frames and table and reassembled everything that was moved into my new home.They even went to the storage unit where I was having certain items stored. They were friendly, professional, very efficient and hard working is an understatement.The company representative on the phone made reserving the job a piece of cake also.When you’re moving, there’s a lot of stress. These movers made this part of the transition so pleasant. Definitely worth the money. Oh, and I called several other companies before calling Qshark and they were waaaaay more expensive than Qshark.I went with Qshark going off their great reviews, price and what they offered.Thank you!

Comment: BEWARE They sold my unit after having storage with them over 4 years. Have failed to provide me with the certified letter they say was sent. Chris, the Manager has said that the Regional has tried to call me several times... He has not. I informed them of the priceless family mementos and the irreplaceable personal items that I stored with confidence only to be ignored and avoided when I asked for simple documentation of the sale of my unit. They replied with a statement saying I owed them the full amount ? No credit for the sale of MY BELONGINGS ? UGH. What is wrong with this organization ? THEY RUN A SHADY BUSINESS OF RIPPING OFF CONSUMERS AND HAVE NO SHAME OR EMPATHY FOR THEIR CUSTOMERS. *also, they offer discounts for you to write good reviews, Ive been instructed while in their office to use my phone for a discount!!!! I definitely trust them to keep my belongings there. Another place where I had my valuables stored suddenly auctioned off my unit and only called me a few days before in which i didnt get the message. I believed my last payment was paid but it was returned to the bank without my realization. I have paid my bill at the same time here and sometimes, yes it has been late, but with the communication I can count on with the staff here I have been able to catch up and trusted my stuff would still be there. Comment: Ive been a loyal customer to this storage facility for over 8 years ever since the new managers the managers John and Nattie made me feel welcome and safe storing my things here but ever since New Management things have changed and gone down hill the managers are more concerned with corporate than the customer they lie about their storage sizes and they know this Ive been renting a 10 x 10 which actually measures out to 9 by 9 which is a difference of 20 square feet with storage that is a lot of space I wouldnt trust any of the five star reviews because they give their customers 15% off their rent for good reviews ever since corporate has made the changes this will be the last month that I will be in this storage facility never again public Security.

It is kept really nice and no matter where your unit is, its not a big deal being on the 2nd or 3rd floor because of the elevator. As you walk through the hallways the lights come on and you dont feel like youre in a dark creepy hallway. I can see everything in my unit which was a huge problem in the last place I was at. There was one light hanging on one side to light up the whole unit and it was terribly dark in my storage unit. The guy, John? I think?? and his wife are so cool and helpful. dont see what I can say that they can improve!!!

Comment: The hubby and I recently started renting a unit here and we only have great things to say about Security Public Storage in Oceanside!The staff is friendly and courteous. They have carts that you can use to make it easier to bring your items into the units, plus elevators for upstair levels. They also have last minute packing items for sale in their office and truck rentals if needed.Highly recommend!!

Comment: Ive check many storage places and bar non the people at SPS in Oceanside are the most helpful and frendlist people ive ran accross. when i couldnt get to the storage unit until late they made special arraigments to let me have access to my unit. i would highly recommend SPS Oceanside to anyone.

Comment: Staff is friendly and helpful and I was able to go look at the facility and reserve a unit all in the same day. I enjoy having a unit on the second floor because it is always cool and I do not feel concerned about drastic temperature changes. They offer a great military discount which made storing our excess furniture affordable. Elevators and flatbeds make transporting items to the second floor easy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a safe, affordable storage space.

Comment: SPS is a super option for both locals and those in the military. Its centrally located right off PCH, with excellent security, clean facilities, and a great staff.SPS has been really easy to work with, which is particularly helpful since Ive often been out of town. Their communication skills are great, contracts/terms of service easy to understand, and Tammy and Matt (the managers) have always been super helpful.
