I have been a customer of Serra for probably 20 years now, back when it was Huntington Ford. Always excellent service, from the sales people to the service center. I was welcomed when I pulled into the parking lot. Had a test drive scheduled with Rich Hayes. Rich was friendly, pleasant to work with and very helpful and informative. Ended up purchasing a 2019 Escape with low milage and the entire experience was great. Buying a car can be a very stressful time. Norman Shaya is amongst the best Car Salesmen you could ever be serviced by. He goes above and beyond and I don’t say that lightly as I am a very analytical customer. He went through multiple scenarios and got me into something much better than I expected. Flew in from Virginia to purchase a 2019 Mustang Convertible. Kathy Hone was my salesperson and she was very attentive and a pleasure to work with. Serra Ford has low dealer fees especially compared to other dealerships that have a $900+ dealer fee and $1500+ reconditioning fee. Great experience overall and recommend
I am severely disappointed in Al Serra. I brought my vehicle to them last spring due to needing a transmission re-build. After a few months I noticed my car was not shifting correctly so I brought it back to be looked at. The service department stated that nothing was wrong with my vehicle. Fast forward to now, and my transmission failed. I had to take my car to a different dealership due to Al Serra stating that I was, better off getting work done somewhere else. Then when I contacted the service department again, I was told that I made a huge mistake by taking the vehicle to a different Ford dealer. The dealership that had my vehicle tried to contact Al Serra about their parts failing. The service writer I was dealing with at the other Ford dealership was told by the service department at Al Serra to lie and tell me that there was no fault with Al Serra. If that is the case, fine. But, when I tried to speak with anyone, no one would speak with me. I would keep getting transferred to someone else. Al Serra had helped my grandmother in the past get into great vehicles and I am extremely upset that I have been stonewalled and that Al Serra wont even talk to me on this matter, when my family had used them for business in the past.
We love our new 2021 Ford Edge. Or sales rep, Shawn Burchi did a great job in helping us find the right car at a great price. We have been working with Shawn for over 25 years. She is very knowledgeable about the cars she sells. Shawn treats us like family. When our lease is up we will be back to get our next Ford form Shawn.

I was very impressed with how quickly the dealership serviced my car. It was easy to schedule an appointment with Greg Singh. It was nice that someone greeted me upon my arrival.They started on time and I was told that it might take 1.5 - 2.0 hours. It actually took just over 1 hour to handle an airbag recall. Greg let me know as soon as my vehicle was ready and where and how to pick up my vehicle - no guessing what I needed to do.This was by far a much better experience than when I used to take my five vehicles to Suburban Ford in Sterling Heights. Serra Ford is much more customer focused and making sure that the customer is completely satisfied.
Had a great buying experience at Serra Ford. Our sales person, Joe Spadafore, found us the exact F150 we wanted in a very trying time for vehicle availability, and we were very needy in our requirements, so thanks to Serra Ford... all in all, we are happy to get the F150 we wanted and Joe was very helpful.
Jr Peterson and Joe Spadafore at Serra Ford really surpised me in their effort to ensure the buying process was fair. Current used and new vehicle market conditions would suggest that sellers have a notable amount of leverage during the buying process. Dont like something about the vehicle you ordered? Thats fine, theres 10 people willing to drive this car off the lot tomorrow. Luckily, this was not the experience I recently had.After pointing an issue with my vehicle order, Jr and Joe went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with the outcome, which is in stark contrast to previous car buying experiences Ive had in the past.Not only did they ensure that I was happy with my purchase, they proved that they have the best interest of the customer in mind. In an industry that is plagued with a poor reputation, my experience was that the folks at Serra really do care about the relationship with their customers. Not only have they earned my trust, theyve earned my loyalty.
This was my first time working with Serra Ford. I am so glad I stopped going to Suburban in Sterling Heights! If you are not happy with your current vehicle salesperson, I highly recommend calling Joe Spadafore at Serra Ford in Rochester Hills. He and his entire team were so easy to work with, and knowledgeable without shoving it down my throat or making me feel like an idiot, which is usually how I am treated during vehicle purchases because of my gender.I will recommend Joe and Serra Ford to anyone and everyone who asks. Especially wonderful was the gentleman who checked to make sure after I turned in my former lease that I had removed everything from the vehicle. He brought back the little Snoopy I had on a mirror for years which I had overlooked.Something I had not thought of was the value of my lease vehicle I was turning in, and whether it had equity to apply to my new lease. Joe suggested this, had it appraised, and I got $500 back toward my new vehicle.That kind of empathy and attention to detail is what I hadn’t realized I had missed since the days I bought and drove Saturns. I am so happy to have found it again at Serra Ford. Truly grateful to have found this dealership.
Im not usually a fan of dealerships, but I recently bought a used f-150 from Serra Ford and it was a good experience. I called ahead and told them specifically which vehicle on their lot I was interested in, they had it ready for me when I arrived. Did a test drive, liked the truck, and moved forward with the buying process. Rich was awesome and did a great job assuring me that I was getting a great price on the truck, even showed me where the truck price ranked in the local database (who knows if its true or not, but I did my research and for the truck I bought with the features I wanted, and the low mileage, Im inclined to believe that it would have been a tough deal to beat.)Only reason they lost a star was because I had been contacted via email by another sales rep, Mike, who I emailed back and never heard anything further from. I like doing business over email, its more convenient and wastes less time, and I was happy that a sales rep reached out via email (because its hard to get people to do that for some reason), but I was disappointed that I never heard back when I sent Mike my list of wanted features. If youre going to send me an email asking what can I do to help you, I expect you to respond, especially if Im looking to spend $30-$40k on a purchase.
It was a pleasure to work with Alonzo Medina, from my first inquiry to the week after my purchase of the 2010 Explorer Sports Trac. He was the perfect balance of friendliness and professionalism. The entire process went smooth and we left with the right vehicle for our specific needs. Unfortunately, we had a mechanical issue within a week of the purchase. After contacting Alonzo with the situation he guided us through the Service appointment. The service team was prompt & efficient. I had a great car buying experience with Shawn at Serra Ford. She walked through the ordering process with me to get exactly the features that I wanted on my new Ford Escape PHEV. She kept me up to date on the vehicle status as it was being built, and when it was delivered on time (!) and prepped she answered my questions about the new car, no BS. Scheduled an oil change and tire rotation at Serra Rochester Hills. They were great, they followed up after I scheduled it to make sure everything was covered. They took my vehicle in immediately at the scheduled time. I appreciated the vehicle check-list they completed. And their price was much better than Rochester Hills Tire. I will continue to bring my vehicle there for any work.Update 4 months later - when for another oil change and tire rotation. My 5 star review was confirmed again. Great follow-up, took the vehicle in on time, great feedback on tire wear, great check list. I highly recommend service work at Serra Ford. Outstanding. I wish I found them years ago.
Bailey was my Sales Associate and she not only leased me my own personal vehicle, she went out of her way to assist me with a Pool Vehicle for my company.I have never met such a diligent hard worker to make sure I got the best possible deal. She would text me, E-Mail me, call me and do whatever it took no matter the hours involved.Serra Ford has a GREAT EMPLOYEE in Bailey and I will be back in 24 months for my next lease.I also need to mention Kevin in Finance. His dad joke game is on point, and he made the Finance aspect of leasing very easy.Leaka, (not sure spelling is correct) is Baileys Manager and he came over and introduced himself. Life note: Time and energy are non-refundable so you have to invest each wisely. My lease experience at Serra Ford of Rochester Hills reaffirms this. I initially went to 2 other large Metro-Detroit Ford dealers. Because of my distance from the dealerships, I initiated contact remotely. The first store- SuburbanFord of Waterford- I wasted 10+ days communicating back and forth with. The salesperson was excellent. The sales manager was dishonest about trade allowance and when questioned on his numbers, he said that was his price and if I didn’t like it I could go elsewhere. So I did. The second store- Suburban Ford of Sterling Heights- the sales manager was excellent, honest, and clear in his pricing. The salesperson was terrible. While he may have heard what I was saying, he didn’t listen at all. I was clear about what I wanted but he continued to steer me to vehicles that were more expensive and more lavishly equipped than what I wanted. Additionally, his responsiveness was terrible. You either receive a response within 30 minutes or 3 business days if at all. I had enough.I reached out to Serra Ford. I explained what I wanted. Despite the inventory issues that everyone is experiencing, within a day I was presented with a couple of vehicles to choose from- either were exactly what I wanted. The level of communication, transparency, and effort from Joe Spadafore (sales), Matt Duggan & Gary Arnold (finance) was excellent. This deal was wrapped up with zero stress, zero frustration, and driving away feeling 100% at peace and satisfied with my choice. Thank you for everything Matt, Joe, and Gary. Loyalty earned.
Took car in for a recall and ask them to check a noise in the rear of the car. $150 for an inspection which took 15 minutes is a bit on the high side. They quoted $2980.00 in repairs, $1400 in parts for wore out bushings. Because instead of just replacing the bushings they were going to replace the rear swing arms (knuckles) and wheel hubs. Why when they only needed to replace $60 worth of bushings? When I questioned the repair quoted I was told the bushings were not serviceable. I pointed out that on the Ford website there was a service part number for the bushings and ask that they quote the repair correctly. They did not want to just service the bushings, so I took my car to a REAL mechanic and he did all the needed repairs for $300.00 which included a few other things that they had missed at the dealership.Unfortunately dealership service centers have turned into Part replacers and profit centers.Over all I was not very satisficed with the service received. They did the recall from Ford and that is the only reason they get 3 stars.
Nate was very helpful and polite. He listened to what my needs, and expectations, I had in the type of vehical, best suited for me. I was on a budget and he did everything to find that very one.It was a very cold and windy day in Michigan. I was dressed for the cold weather, not for success. Haha I was treated with the utmost respect.Ultimately Nate found me a Ford Fusion! I drove away that day. I put insurance on it plated it right on sight. No Secretary of state visit.As for the rest of the staff they were extremely nice as well. That day I met two wonderful people Nate and Kristina. They changed my attitude about used car sales.I would recommend Serra Ford of Rodchester Hills to everyone. Go in and check out the inventory. You may find just what you are looking for. I did I love my Fusion!
Dont trust the ford Dealerships in Flint I have had trouble with them. I am picky about my car. So I gave serra ford a try i am very happy with the service I received stating when I walked thru the door till my car was finished was very happy with all of my experience with them and I drive from Flint now to get my service from SERRA ford. Keep up the good service.
Just purchased a used car from them about 2 weeks ago. Very unhappy when talking on the phone my screen freezes even after shutting the car off it still shows I’m on a call. The car should have been detailed before me purchasing it as well. You’re excited about your new car only to have it dirty. Most definitely won’t go back
I am glad that I went to Serra Ford Rochester Hills and met Shawn Burchi. From the first moment that I walked in the door it seemed that she was very excited that I was there. Although the van that I went to see was bought by someone else before I got there I very soon became interested in another vehicle and test drove it that day and came back the next day and bought it.The whole purchase experience was made very much easier and more pleasant because Shawn went above and beyond in helping me. She ran back and forth from building to building and through the office so quickly in her efforts to help as many people as she could, including me.I have not experienced a car salesperson such as her in my life. And it is most likely that I would not have bought anything that day if it were not for her.I appreciated being able to trade in the vehicle that I had without debate. Which in turn made me less desirous to cause any debate about the vehicle price I was purchasing.Thumbs up to Shawn and the finance manager. I spent about a year researching F-150s at various dealerships. I was able to find an incredible deal at Serra Ford and got the exact truck I was looking for at far less than I likely would have spent elsewhere. Was greeted as soon as I walked in the door and received excellent customer service from Bailey. We were so satisfied with this purchase it prompted my wife and I to come back in and trade in our Honda (never buying another one). Bailey helped my wife find the perfect Ford Explorer that is far more accommodating to her back pain. We could not be happier with either vehicle. Excellent prices and excellent service!
Im usually very apprehensive about going to a dealer. But I must say Mike Larose did a phenomenal job of helping me in every aspect. I would like to start off by saying Kathy Hone in used car sales is amazing.I walked into the building expecting what every other dealer did to me, which is give me a ridiculously priced used car with a payment way higher than I said I could afford, and poor customer service.Kathy Hone on the other hand did the exact opposite!! She did everything in her power to get me in the car I wanted with the payment I could afford that day!!! I would recommend any and everyone to go to Huntington ford. They gave me Outstanding performance and excellent customer service. I am so happy with my car and terms, I couldnt thank her enough for what she did! I will be back when the time comes for a new ride!!

Well I purchased a vehicle on December 31st 2019 from these guys and everything was great at first. My used car sales rep name was Anthony, great guy and very helpful to a point of not being able to. His bosss name is Dave, He was also nice up until after I purchased the vehicle, then I never heard from him. I was interested in a 2010 Ford Taurus SHO 200,000+ Miles, took the car out for a test drive It was very clean. But was apparent that it needed some work. I figured I could get the work that needed to be done, done. I felt like it would have been a great vehicle for me to go into from getting out of my Chevy lease. So I purchased a vehicle because I felt it was worth it. And yes I paid cash! On the drive home the motor started knocking like crazy and loosing power! I pulled over and called the tow truck to get it towed home. Ive been in contact with Serra ford to work out a deal on a different car. Unfortunately up until me writing this review, that never happened. Now Im stuck with the shell of a car, used motors for the Ford Taurus SHO cost $2,500 dollars and up 🤯 and thats just for the motor itself, does not include labor. Now I feel like I should never buy a used car from a dealership. If you are going to buy a used car from this place, please make sure you have a mechanic check the car out first. Ive learned that they do not do any type of inspection beyond safety, for their used cars. Not even an oil change. I am sure this would fall under the lemon law. But if I am going to get a lawyer to sue these guys I may as well spend the money to buy a new motor for the car 🤦🏿♂️. This was a very sad experience to me, your experience may not be the same, but I do say be aware! Please get the used vehicles inspected before buying them from here or any dealership for that matter!
I was shopping for a car this whole year and I stopped in to Serra Ford and this lovely young lady my the name of Shawn greeted me. She showed me an Edge ST and I was very impressed with the vehicle and her professionalism and technical knowledge! I asked her how long shes been selling she said 26 years! It definitely shows! The last two cars I bought I worked with my salesman Angelo Giordimaina who I would highly recommend. He was very informative and worked hard to find the vehicle I was interested in.
Bought a 2018 Ford Fusion a few months ago and dealt with Alonso Medina. Very happy with the Fusion and working with Alonso was easy and he was very informative. Felt no pressure. Sales are fine. The auto repair side doesnt know how to run a business. My car was only supposed to be gone for a day to two days at most and now were pushing 6 day. If I known this long I would have got a rental or something. Other then figuring out on my own and figuring out a way to work. You think David offer a rental knowing is taking so long. From what Im figuring out if you dont tell them about it and do their job for them it not offered. Wish I could give a lower rating.

I recently purchased an F150 from this dealership and had a great experience with the sales team however through no fault of their own I found out about a month after on in the truck that the interior lights were not functioning properly. I called the sales team and they put me in touch with Dave Watt Who is the service manager there. He offered me a very good rate to have the repair done at a low cost to myself which I thought was more then fair. He kept in great touch with me during the repair process and went the extra mile to make sure it was done in a timely manner. I would greatly recommend anyone call and ask for him for any service needs.
My family had a great experience working with Bailey Czuchaj on getting into a new F150. We love the truck, the 12” center stack, the 360 degree viewing camera. the truck bed camera, and all the additional features that came with this truck. We received a great deal considering the chip shortage. Bailey was a pleasure to work with as she got us the truck we wanted and at a cost lower then what we expected to pay.

If you want to buy a new car or truck, go see Woody Woodson. I had a fantastic experience with him and the staff of Serra Ford. He found the exact truck that I was looking for and ensured that all of my customer needs were met. Other dealerships were not willing to look for the truck that I wanted, but wanted to sell me what they had on the lot. Woody found mine and not only that, he found EXACTLY what I wanted.
Bailey was an amazing sales representative. She greeted us immediately when we walked in. From beginning to end of the car buying/leasing process, we could tell she was trying to take care of a need for us, not just trying to sell us on a product. She was attentive, communicative, and willing to work with us on anything we needed. They have steadily gone downhill since buying out Huntington Ford. New lease vehicle has been in the shop twice for 8+ days only to tell me it was a loose positive battery connector.causing the issues. No courtesy vehicles available for a family who has purchased/leased 6 vehicles in the last 4 years. 5 star review for Jon Maston, great employee who goes out of his way to assist or accommodate you.
Just picked up my new Bronco Sport from Serra Ford on Tuesday, 6/1 and I love it!!! My representative is Bruce Robinson and he is by far the best of the best!!! I turned in a Dodge Charger and really loved that car but the sales people over at Suburban Chrysler could not even come close to the service that I received at Serra Ford from Bruce! He goes above and beyond to all of his customers and it makes the difference! I know this because he has sold vehicles to my co-workers, friends and relatives and not one person can say a bad thing about him. I really wasnt impressed with the Bronco when I first saw it but love the sport and I must say its a very well made vehicle. Go in to Serra Ford and see Bruce Robinson!

We first came to her in 2016 as a young couple with a new baby, now were married with two kids, and a furbaby -- it was time to upgrade.
After considerable internet research and shopping for a truck at two dealers in Lansing -- but curious about Huntington Fords internet prices -- I called and talked with Woody in sales. He patiently talked me through the pricing numbers and invited me to drive to Rochester Hills. I was skeptical of the out-the-door price, because of my experience in Lansing..I focused my research on used trucks -- amazed that trucks 3-4 years old, with 50 - 80,000 miles were listed at such high prices! When I droppedto $10,000, trucks were 10 - 12 years old, and most well beyond 100,000 miles. The MPG on those older trucks was in the ballpark of 14/18 and 15/19, they do not include new technology, and they are beginning to show rust.Every 2-3 days, Woody would call, and in his warm, friendly, and professional style, he would answer my questions about leasing compared to purchasing a new truck, and why -- due to residual values -- better-equipped trucks often lease at about the same cost as base models -- whatever question I had.December pricing was a huge incentive to purchase a new truck. Then came Christmas sale pricing, and then end-of-the-year discounts.Again, Woody would invite me in, but Id defer -- still struggling with new or used -- and, if new -- leasing or buying.Finally, the issues of safety in a new truck, fuel economy, and the costs-of-repairs in an older truck, prompted me to empty and vacuum my Jeep, run it through a car wash, and drive to Rochester Hills.I like Woodys personality. He can be fun and light-hearted, though highly knowledgeable about vehicles, and hes patient in explaining vehicle options, pricing, and financing.I chose a truck with equipment groups pricing it above the base model XL I had priced in Lansing.Woody and Huntingtons finance manager, Kim, and I dealt with final cost details, service contract options, and securing the lowest-costing interest rates for financing.I had carried with me the final pricing offer at my hometown Ford dealer for comparison. The truck I purchased at Huntington is sticker priced $4,565 less than the base model for which I received an official Ford computer-printed price quote in Lansing.So, it would seem fair that I would pay $4,565more for the truck at Huntington.I paid $132 less.Add $4565 and $132, and I received a $4,697 better deal at Huntington than with the Lansing dealer.Yes, Woody is great, Kim is great, the Sales Manager, Tony is great. I felt good meeting Greg, the service manager. Thats all fine and dandy, but that wouldnt mean so much if their vehicle cost more.But, not only are Huntingtons people great, their cost was $4,700 less.I encourage you, if you are interested in a new vehicle, to shop at one dealership, and secure a written price for the vehicle you like. Then, drive to Rochester Hills. If youd like to gain information from a friendly, professional sales person, ask for Woody.Im really pleased with my new Ford F-150, with its cost, and with the people at Huntington who helped me.All the best to you in your search!
I had Brandon Foreman as my sales rep in March. I inquired online and shortly after was sent an email. I had went in and had a different person but the sale didnt feel right. So Monday I went back for Brandon. He was very chill and personable. My first time buying a car and he was answering all my questions and even told me about some pros and cons of certain things. He took it down to get it detailed before I knew it. I had to wait on the phone with insurance to get the info faxed over and the place had closed but he was still patient as he know I wanted to take my vehicle home that night.I had to come back due to the SOS being down and he put the plate back on the car for me as well and even made conversation about how much I was enjoying the car or what mod I was planning on doing to it. He takes the time, from the buying process to even after to get to know you or know how the purchase is going. He even asked if I wanted it washed before I left!I recommend him. He came from a different car lot but his awards show hes been making impressions on people for awhile. I love my Veloster and thanks for making the process so easy Brandon!
Bought the car when Huntington Ford now Serra. I have front end problems and hands off that has static and a sync screen that shuts off and on whiIe driving, I did not take the vehicle to Serra due to a couple week wait before they get it in. I had to take it to Suburban Ford. Bad move, l have a ticket with Customer care..see if it matters.First new Ford purchased. It seems the dealership are happy to take 23000 for an Escape, but frowns on fixing the obvious quality issues Ford has as a car company. How do people spend $50,000 to 60,000 for a f150 when Ford dealers do not have time or the need to warranty fix a two month old SUV.01/29/2022, I took the Escape back for an issue to see if things changed. My escape is 2 years now, and under 30,000 miles with the 36/ 36000 warranty. Ford Dealers still will not cover the warranty without a charge.The issue this time was a part hanging on the bottom of my car. The vehicle still under warranty, you would think if a part fails or comes loose, the dealers will do the work under warranty and charge the Ford the warranty cost. At least I assume is what happened when I bought GMs, prior to dealing with Ford warranty. This was the first Ford vehicle I bought new, and most likely the last.Well, I took the car to Elder Ford Troy first and without looking at the car, I was told there was $65.00 charge.I went to Serra Ford Rochester Hills, the place I purchased the vehicle, and they actually looked at the vehicle, the advisor told me that a bolt came loose and the will fix it with a charge of $3.95. Real petty of this dealer for a car that is still covered under Ford Bumper to Bumper warranty. The total came to $4.97 at checkout.The worst part is, I called Ford Customer care(no help), escalated to customer care manager (Ford should quality James) and sent email to Executive office, (very nice person, listened, but did not get my voice message from a few day prior and morning to call the Dealer). Niether, (Customer care, the customer care manager, or Executive office, put themselves in a position to help me to get a Ford dealer to fix my vehicles without some type of out of pocket charge. The vehicle is still under warranty.
Bruce Hanon! Is the go to guy at Serra Ford. My wife and I felt welcome as soon as we walked in. He helped us find the car that met all of our needs and wants plus more. I had a wonderful experience with Serra Ford and my service technician Matt. I noticed a wheel bearing that was going and dropped my car off before work in the morning. Before I was even off work (less than 8 hours later) my car was done and I am very pleased with the service! I appreciated the clear communication and the quality of the replacement. I had a quiet drive to work today :)
I got my first financed car from Serra Ford. The business manager, Kristina Berishaj gave me such a good price on a 2017 Ford Edge and I love it. Its been almost a week and I cant stop driving it. Everyone is so nice and I certainly wouldnt mind becoming a loyal customer when my family and I need new cars in the future.
UPDATE!!! 2-12-2019 @ 4:02 PMI met with Pat Scoggin (owner) and Brad Schiller at 2:00 PM today. They have both stepped up big time and have offered to replace the vehicle with a new 2019 model. They checked dealership inventories to find a match but were unable to find one. They placed an order today to have a new one built. They will cover all costs of transferred equipment, taxes, title, plates, etc and will deliver the vehicle to me at ZERO cost. I think this was the absolute right thing to do and I am very pleased with how things went today. I want to thank Pat Scoggin and Brad Schiller for going out of their way to make a customer happy and doing the right thing.Thanks to everyone who showed support and I think we can all agree this dealership did do right for their customer.----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ORIGINAL POST:DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP!! PLEASE READ TO AVOID A BIG HEADACHE!!!This dealership (Huntington Ford in Rochester Hills, Michigan) crashed my new vehicle into the building on its first oil change. Darryl Galka and David Watt spoke to me in their office reassuring me I would be taken care of and the roof would be replace to as good or better than new condition.Getting the vehicle back after a week they returned a vehicle that now had a torn leather seat, hanging overhead console and a trim piece that fell off on my way home. They used metal screwdrivers to remove the trim (pictures attached). When I arrived home I grabbed a ladder and checked the roof and sure as can be they used bondo/filler to repair the job. I used a digital coating thickness gauge and it buried the meter which checks up to 2mm thickness. The vehicle was not cleaned before or after the repairs and was repaired in a way I was absolutely assured it would not. There is debris, pits, waves and even a human hair in the paint (as pictures show).I returned to the dealership a few days later to discuss this with David Watt and I was handed me off to David Duncan. I shared the pictures and concerns with David Duncan and he said it meets the industry standards and it is as good as new. I asked him if that was the case would he put a vehicle like this on his lot and sell it as new? He said We do it all the time.Not satisfied with that answer I headed to the showroom to see if I can speak to Pat Scoggin (owner) so he can make things right. He was out at lunch so I waited 30+ minutes. When the owner came to see me he was very brief and said he had no time for me or even listen to my issue.I have 3 estimates from collision shops (one which is a Ford dealers). The estimates range from $8,500 - $10,000 to repair the roof correctly. I have the invoice from Huntington Ford that is $935 they spent on repairs. The first collision shop spotted a stress crack in the window (picture attached) which leads them to believe there is structure damage. I went to the dealership and showed this to David Duncan. He said it was a stress crack but I cannot prove it was due to this accident and for me to take it up with Ford Motor Company as they build the vehicle wrong and the reason it cracked. Please keep in mind the vehicle was crashed on January 11 and repaired on January 25th. I showed him the cracked windshield on February 7th.DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALERSHIP ON THEIR WORD AND BE SUSPECT OF ANY NEW CAR YOU MAY BUY OR HAVE BOUGHT FROM THEM!! THIS DEALERSHIP DOES NOT DO RIGHT BY THEIR CUSTOMERS EVEN WHEN THE CUSTOMER IS ZERO % AT FAULT!!
My husband Frank and I had a wonderful experience with Gary in finance and our sales person Amanda. They were so helpful. We did have an issue however with Candy Serra. After taking my vehicles to a wide range of Ford and Lincoln dealers I think I have finally found the one I want to stick with. The service center employees are friendly and courteous and helped out where they could. Not to mention I was usually waiting 3-5 hours for a call saying vehicles LOF was completed (sometimes no call at all). Not the case with Serra! They had my car in and out in 1-2 hours tops.Thanks again, I feel like you found a new client
What a great staff in the service department. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. Despite me messing up the day that I scheduled my appointment, they were very accommodating and were able to fit me in so I didnt have to come back another day.I wouldnt go anywhere else to have maintenance done on my vehicle.

I had a fantastic salesman! He went above and beyond to make my purchase smooth. So far, loving my Explorer! This is my fifth one so I knew what I was getting. After having 2 Escapes, I couldnt wait to get back into an Explorer. All personnel were extremely friendly and the gal in credit was very efficient. I certainly recommend Serra Ford and will go back if in need of another vehicle. The prices are very fair compared to other dealers.

Bought my new Bronco Sport from Serra Ford today. Annabelle was a great Salesperson to work with. I called from out of state and was able to put it on hold until I could pick it up. Buying the car from out of state, she was so helpful in getting the car put on hold quickly, making sure I got pictures to see everything inside and out, and answering all my questions. When I arrived on the weekend to pick it up, everything ran so smoothly. My new Bronco was waiting for me, detailed and ready to go. Such a nice, helpful and great team to work with. Horrible service! I had to contact another Ford dealership just to be serviced. Due to their rude and incompetent service department. Jenna didn’t want to help assist me getting a service due to it being expired. Then tried to tell another person to tell me I need to pay for diagnostics etc. They were no help at all. The first time I called she made like she had no idea what I was referring to. I contacted another Ford dealership and was taken care of properly. Please be careful how you treat your customers. I was looking to get the update so I can trade my car in. You guys lost a customer.
Yesterday, March 24, 2021 I randomly got flat tire. I first went to Discount Tire in Rochester Hills (had been going there for 30 years) and the experience was NOT good. Frankly, I dont think Ill ever go back.I ended up working with my sales rep at Ford, Woody, and he came to the rescue and was amazing! Andre showed up in a decked out service van that was capable of filling my tire with air, he then followed closely behind me the 2-3 miles that I needed to go to get to the Ford dealership. I cant THANK Andre enough for being so kind, considerate and patient as he attempted to make a VERY poor interaction with Discount Tire much better! I am SO grateful to Woody for coming to the rescue and sending Andre to me!!! You guys were awesome!!!🙏🎊 Thank you!
I was very pleased with the quick response from Serra Ford Rochester Hills. We came and took a look at the vehicle we wanted. The sales people were not pushy about purchasing their vehicle. The salesman wanted to make sure we were happy with the deal he was offering us. Everyone in the office made us feel comfortable.
When I bought my 2020 Explorer there was a factory defect in the grille and it was missing a strut tower isolator. Had a bad interaction with a sales person jerking me around with Yea, we have parts on order for 3+ months. Only to find out that they never actually did. The sales person no longer works there and Darryl and Mike from the service desk made everything right. They got the parts in fast, fixed a couple extra issues I had on my explorer and even gave me an Edge to borrow while the car was being serviced!

I received a phone call about a recall my car had. When I took it in, I was given fast, thorough service. I was given a loaner car, and on my way. The repairs took 24 hours. And I got my car the next day. Service members were very kind. However, the next day, my car alerted me of the engine about to overheat. I was out of fluid, and my car went into limp mode. I was late for work. Had to have it towed to the dealership again. Find a ride there at 7am. And get another loaner. A hose was knocked loose somehow. I got my car back the next day, but that was very stressful and inconvenient. I am glad my boss was cool with it all.
I would highly recommend Serra Ford to anyone in the market for a Ford Motor product. They have customer service that I would rate as #1. Ask for Woody he is great to work with and follows up on every conversation you have with him. I will continue to go to Serra for all future purchases. Also recommend to all.

I ordered a ‘21 Mach 1 from Brad Shilling at Serra Ford. The options I wanted weren’t available when I placed my order as we had to wait a month for “Job 2” to become available to complete the order. I gave a $500 deposit none the less to reserve my place in line. I signed off on an incomplete order. I told Brad all I wanted were the Recaro seats, the handling package and the new paint color Jet Fighter Grey. The car arrived and it had leather sport bucket heated and cooled seats. Not what I wanted. Brad blamed me for not paying attention to the paperwork and told me I wasn’t getting my money back despite the fact that I told him repeatedly all I cared about was the “handling package” and the Recaro seats. Bob Davis came to the rescue, offered to get me a similar car even though at the time there were maybe 4 in the entire country with the handling package and recaros. I decided against it and Bob gave me my money back. Don’t order a car if you can’t see all the options in advance. Brad didn’t bother to consult me once job 2 opened up and I’ve never been more disappointed in a car buying experience. I’m only giving the second star because the customer service to recover my business was exemplary.
My Vehicle was declared a total loss, Michael Pidsosny was absolutely amazing working with me every single step of the way. I was really upset having to lose my vehicle. He made everything so easy. He took wonderful care of me. He took the time to answer all my questions and concerns about buying a used vehicle. He made sure it was in the best shape it could be before he sold it to me. I had such a GREAT experience working with Greg Zytowski to purchase my 2018 Jeep Compass! I gave the dealership a call to ask about availability -- Greg quickly returned my phone call and we set up an appointment for the next day. We had to drive 3 hours to the dealership and Greg had the vehicle cleaned and sitting out front ready to go for us. He was friendly (he even let us bring our dog into the office!), professional, and efficient. We were in and out of the dealership within 2 hours, where I had previously spent 5 hours at another dealership. Greg gave us an excellent experience at Serra Ford!
First of all, Dan Saunders has been my salesman during the course of 5 purchases and leases of NEW Ford vehicles. He is on top of EVERY DETAIL! I just leased a 2020 Escape Sport hybrid - and I am loving the car! I have had excellent service from this dealership. They have even allowed me to bring my Golden Retriever in when I am waiting for oil changes, etc. What a place! I would definitely recommend Dan and (now) Serra! The guys in the service department have been helpful and customer oriented and nice to work with.

We bought a used car from Mike and were very pleased with the car and the deal. Weve been coming here for at least 15 years.Update: were still very happy with our cars. I was in the service department this week because the check oil light came on. They did a thorough check and discovered a problem with my brakes. They repaired that as well, which is good because I like a car with brakes. Excellent service.

Angelo listened to my requirements, and worked hard to find the vehicle for me. He did not try to push into a vehicle in dealer stock that didnt meet my needs. There was a recall on my car that needed to be fixed. The first place I called, I sat on hold, kept getting looped back to the front desk. When I called Serra, however, someone picked up on the first ring, transferred me to the service department, who also answered on the first ring. I spoke to Matt, who was very professional and courteous. Got my car in and they even gave me a courtesy vehicle for the day. The best the other place could do was to say that “maybe” the shuttle could get me back home. Highly recommend Serra. I’ll probably start buying my vehicles from there from now on, too!
I traded in my old car and purchased a 2017 Ford Escape from Bailey. She sent me different vehicles I may like to look at before coming in so that she would have the ones that I was interested in ready for me to see and test drive. I ended up leaving the dealership the same day with the vehicle I was interested in. It fast and easy.
I have worked with Bob for years now. He has always worked very hard to make me happy and find the truck that I want. I give him credit as I can be very difficult and indecisive when leasing a new vehicle. He has always remained patient and helpful. I would highly recommend him to everyone and i will enjoy working with him in the future too. I love my new 2019 F150. :) the finance guy was amazing also and a pleasure to work with. I worked with Bruce at Serra Ford and couldnt be happier with my experience. Bruce worked hard to find me EXACTLY what I was looking for. He was extremely responsive and answered all of my questions as this was my first time leasing a vehicle. When I showed up, he had all of my paperwork ready and I was in and out of there with my new lease within 40 minutes. He worked hard to find me every rebate possible and get the payments within my budget perfectly while still leaving with the truck of my dreams.
Bought a pre-owned vehicle here that weve been searching extensively for. Price was fair and the process of purchasing was actually very smooth and much better compared to past experiences elsewhere. Best part of all was that there was very little pressure, and that was the case throughout. The dreaded upsell of extras while signing docs basically didnt exist, which was a pleasant surprise. 2022-02-05We traveled across state to purchase a Ford Edge from Serra. could not find anything we liked in our area. When we arrived Alonso had the car out front, washed, and ready for a road test. They did not use our Credit union for the loan but they ended up finding a bit better rate. Just had to wait a bit for the process.Discovered the adaptive cruise feature was not working on the way home. Brought the car to a local dealer and they said Ford will not cover the $415 repair because there was damage. The next day the dealer called and said Ford will cover the repair. All is good and like the car.

2022-02-19Serra Ford of Rochester Hills takes customer service to the next notch. From offering help through their website, to emailing and phone conversations, to test driving cars & purchasing, nothing ever felt forced or dishonest. They make you feel super comfortable and ensure that they’re not trying to sell you a car, they’re trying to help you buy one. Jacob was our sales guy & super helpful. We drove a few ours out & he had cars ready for us to view as soon as we got there. Everyone was very patient while I took care of the insurance and financing aspect of the process. They offered many times to get us refreshments & made us feel very comfortable the whole time. Highly recommend Serra Ford.

2022-01-21Being the wife of a finance manager at a car dealership usually means the new car buying experience is pretty lackluster. In the past it has only included my husband with little to no interaction from any other sales staff. Today I bought a new Bronco and had a completely different experience than at the dealership my husband previously worked at. My salesman, Joe Spadafore was great. He treated me as any normal customer and made it a great experience and fun! He took the time to make sure I understood everything about my new car and answered all my questions. Even sales managers took the time to congratulate me and make sure everything was all taken care of. You can tell everyone at this dealership truly cares about ALL of their employees.

2022-03-22Husband bought his car from the dealership and had a decent experience. However, we brought my car to the service center and had a bad experience. There were employees loudly dropping f bombs in the lot right outside the door to the service center. They performed $300 of extra work that we did not authorize. We would have authorized it but we’re not told in advance. Then, while picking up the vehicle, we waited a long time for the car to be brought up to us. Finally, my husband went in to ask what was taking so long. Turns out, the part they supposedly fixed (a belt) came off. Currently, we are sitting outside the service center waiting to find out how long it will take to properly fix. Would NOT recommend the service center to anyone.Edited to add: Dave has been very helpful to work with and has helped get the issue resolved. I appreciate his hard work and help with the situation.

2022-05-24I had driven from Jackson, Michigan to Serra Ford Rochester Hills on a Thursday evening, getting lost, arriving only a few minutes before scheduled closing. Mike Larose stayed late to make sure I had a chance to test drive the truck. The price was reasonable and I let Mike know the next morning I would like to purchase it. After a call to my insurance company and a brief stop at my credit union, I rode with my sister to the dealership to find Mike had the truck in tip top shape. After a nice experience with Kristina signing paperwork, Mike had the truck plated and off I went with everything taken care of. I love the truck. There is something to be said about a good dealership experience, and my experience with Serra Ford Rochester Hills was great. It was worth the drive.
