Picked up two pair of skis from them 184 Bootjack, and 168 Medora for my wife. We have tested a lot of skis from them when they have demos and all the skis are great! The people that work there seem to love what they do and have a real passion for putting people on the best skis so they have the most fun when out on the hill. I will be telling all my friends and family to try them out at a demo.
First impressions of my new Brockways..I like to ski fast with big GS style turns and my new boards didnt dissapoint. Like Ferraris on my feet !! The more you pressure the tips ..the more they bite..still not sure how the camber pockets work..but they do. Solid /stable at speed and I could cut thru crusty wind slab snow with ease..Amazing.Top notch quality build and customer satisfaction are a priority at Shaggys. Cant wait to try them in soft snow conditions.
Stoked about my Brockway 95s. I ski mainly Boyne Mtn and Highlands and they rock on all conditions from icy groomers to fresh powder. I feel I could take them west if I ever go. Open house is fun, grab a PBR and take the tour.

I just came off of the mountains at Stowe. The first ride on my Brockway 95’s mated to Tyrolia Attack 13 bindings. Pretty much skied above anything I would have thought possible for me. Loose granular snow with some ice patches. Piles of snow pushed along the runs. Skis worked as advertised, I blasted through the piles without a hiccup, turns were crisp and my confidence level rose as well. I’m not sure if I “shredded” it or not, but they were a blast.. Edges held well on the solid surface as well as through the ice balls. I cannot say enough about how rock solid the ride is, the nanomag pretty much eliminated chatter. I definitely would recommend these skis.

2021-02-15The AhMeek 115s are a great powder ski thats incredibly responsive for such a wide ski and they handle great on groomers too! I would say theyre the best all-mountain powder skis Ive ridden on and I love the natural wood design (I get a lot of compliments in the lift lines).Their customer service is some of the best Ive ever experienced I lost a ski in the backcountry in CO and called in asking for a replacement. I was fully expecting to be SOL but the employee I spoke with helped me out and got be back skiing without having to buy a whole new pair.These guys are something special and I hope to see them have a greater presence out west very soon. Keep up the great work!

2020-02-19Awesome company right here. I unfortunately broke my old skis, popped the edges out fo them. I had been looking at Shaggys as a replacement before I broke my other skis. Now Ive got a decision to make, since its a three week lead time for Shaggys. Simple I just told them my story and ask if they could ship early. Here I am a week later with custom made limited edition graphic skis!!!!! Now I need to get bindings and try them out. Cant say enough how happy I am they turned these around quickly for me. Great company and great customer service.Thank you!!!!!!

2016-10-31Great customers service, quality local product, and VERY helpful company. I ordered my first pair of Shaggy Skis this year and so far I am highly impressed. I was able to take a tour of their factory and ask all the questions Ive always wondered about skis. They then even looked up how to set my skis up for center (binding) mounting while I was there...at the end of the tour! Pretty awesome, thanks for that guys!.. Not to mention how easy they were to work with to order and ship my skis down to GR once they were done. Really looking forward to ridding some local planks this year!

2019-09-09Every experience I have had with Shaggys Copper Country Skis staff and product have exceeded my expectations. Each time I have spoken with a member of their staff the conversations have felt personal and I was always taken care of every step of the way. When I purchased a pair of their Ahmeek 105s (which absolutely shred anything and everything) I received a handwritten note from Shari Thompson thanking me for my business. When I needed to have repairs done after I fell hard at Mt. Bohemia, I was helped by Spencer to make the process of shipping and repairing the skis as seamless as possible. I cannot overstate the level of pride I have owning a pair of their skis and how well they treat their customers.

2016-05-21I dont know if ive ever had better customer service.I was looking for a last minute anniversary gift. I called early this week (7:30 am)-- they were able to help me right when I called. I got a great set of skis for an awesome price. I dont receive the skis until Sept, though they sent me a matching print. This was mailed to me within two business days... just in time ! It made a great gift. Thank you so much again. My husband is happy as a clam :-)

2018-05-25There were many reasons I chose the Shaggy’s Copper Country Skis brand. # 1 the product is great! I also liked the fact that it’s a family owned and operated business.The demo program at the factory/showroom is great! Shaggy’s being 5 miles from Boyne Mountain Resort makes it very convenient. I was able to try multiple skis in different models and lengths. I skied on both the Hubbell 85 and the Brockway 95. If I still lived in CO the Brockway 95 would have been a no brainer. I purchased a pair of the Hubbell 85 in THE PATRIOT limited edition design. The transaction went well from start to finish. I couldn’t be more happy! They look great and I get lots of compliments from fellow skiers.

2018-02-18Stoked to join the growing group of Shaggys ski owners! The Carbon Ahmeek is the most fun ski I’ve used in the woods and variable terrain. Had such a great time on them, I ordered some Tubbys for the deep stuff. Want a custom graphic for your skis? Jeff can do that all while offering the best customer service in the industry. Highly recommended.

2020-03-05Awesome place that all skis made in USA . Handcrafted and can be custome made and tailored just for u. Custom graphics also. I didnt give a 5 for i have not skied on these skis. Reviews ive readhave been awesome and i have seen these across the country. Maybe next year i can demo.
