Went there for the first time and was really disappointed. From the outside it looks big until you go inside. The place is like empty, no bikes, not much inventory at all. I’m used to dealers that have atleast 50 or so bikes in stock and lots of clothing and custom parts on the shelf. It’s a ghost town
Terrible service department. Asked for recall parts to be ordered while willing to pay for them and still wouldnt do unless I dragged the machine in to let it sit there while parts take forever to come in. These people are rude before you even get to have a conversation.
I just walked into this dealership with the intention of buying a used bike and I have honestly never experienced anything like this. Even for a Wednesday afternoon I guess the fact that it was a ghost town should have been a sign. Some dude at a counter in the back sat there for a while and finally tried to acknowledge me on my way out the door (way too late). I even walked all the way into the back to see if anyone was working here and two guys literally let a 300lb man stare at them for minutes and didnt even look up from the computer. Wife wanted a T-shirt, nobody at the counter. I have no idea why Harley keeps losing money. Must be Trumps tariffs. Make sure if you are going in here you dress like a yuppie so they speak to you. If you look like you cant afford a $750/month bike payment, go somewhere else!
This place lost a sale to me due to a VERY RUDE salesman. I took a friend in to show him one of the 2 sportsmans they had on the showroom floor last Saturday. They did in fact have a sign in the dump bed of the quad that said please do not actuate dump box and a winch placed in the dump box for show. I removed the box to show my buddy how the 2 up seat folded out and at that point the salesman, Ray asked what I was doing. I then told him I wanted to show the seat operation to my friend. He then pushed the seat back down with my hand still on it and said thats why we have a sign on it so people dont touch it. I was blown away. No offer to show us the function or be helpful in anyway. Just attitude... Of course I just said wow, well your sign says dont actuate dump box and this isnt the dump box but I guess were not looking at or buying this thing today and walked out. Even called back to talk to someone about the experience and got him again (Im sure theyre short staffed). He was not apologetic whatsoever. Matter of fact he was silent the whole time and all he said was ok a couple times. I dont care how scarce the products theyre selling are and how easy they can sell them without going the extra mile, I refuse to buy from a place that treats people like that. Especially over a vague sign that I didnt even disobey. Highly discourage anyone from that place or at least from dealing with Ray.
Bought a 2018 Anniversary Ultra here while on vacation. Who knew our dream bike would be sitting in Birch Run (@900 miles from home)! Everyone was very polite and accommodating! Finance manager Jodi was amazing, she even mailed a T-shirt to us due to the fact she didn’t have the correct size while we were there. Salesman Greg kept in contact with us while waiting a week for the transport company to pick it up. Annette on merchandising made sure we were happy as well. Everyone we have spoken too either in person or on the phone have been amazing. Thanks for such an enjoyable experience!
Zoey was great!Update. Apprently this is not a Harley dealer anymore. They even took their sign down by the expressway. They will sell you what they have in stock. But cannot order anything in. I dont know why theyre still called Harley Davidson. Its a Polaris dealer mainly now.
Nate, the mechanic was thorough, polite and professional when we brought our Ultra in this Monday morning due to a faulty aftermarket air ride compressor. It could be fixed, but I didnt want to spend hundreds buying new HD shocks, since I had a perfectly good set at home. They shuttled my bike, my wife and myself back to Troy, MI for a more than reasonable rate. The Harley dealership truck/ trailer driver (I forgot his name) was safe, friendly and helped load, unload and push my motorcycle into my garage. Ive never had ANY dealership treat me as fairly and honestly as they did and I made sure they knew that today!
Stopped today on our way through Michigan from Canada...coolant light came on..service dept at this shop said ....no issue..just ride it back to PA. Now at Rt 30 Harley Davidson Ohio...they actually took the time to look at it..needs new water pump. Getting fixed.Great service here guys... you should get a few tips about customer service from this shop!
My fiancee recently purchased a bike. I wanted to purchase a bell for it. Granted we were there about 15 minutes before closing, but I literally was just picking out a bell. I would say thats plenty of time. Even though there was two guys in there, no one approached us or even greeted us. I had the bell picked out from the case, but no one cared to check on me. Since the customer service is non-existent here. I will take the hint and Ill take my business elsewhere.
Stored my bike here over the winter, got a call from them because they couldnt figure out how to undo the seat latch to add stabilizer to the gas tank. During this call I explained the want for a mechanical latch over the electrical one, and that Ide like new tires. Was told theyd call. After a few months no calls, I called to at least order tires. Was told to wait for a call because I could get a sale deal. No call, called for new tires, no sale. Was told I would receive 10% off the new tires installation for having my bike stored there over the winter. About 3 weeks later got a call that the bike was ready. When I picked up my bike I was charged full price for the tires and install. Almost $800. Who told you that? Nothing about a discount here. So I missed the storage discount and the $60 mail in rebate on the tires because no call during the sale month. Horrible customer service. Should have known not to do business with them when they got an old paperback catalogue to check for pricing on parts, its 2019 get the internet. Ill have to Install the mechanical latch myself, should save me an arm and a leg. Detailed twice during storage but water marks left behind.
I do like the store but they never have parts in stock And the last few times Ive ordered parts one took a month to come in The other one took like 3 months Took 3 months to come in They said if I order it through them it would take just as long as getting it off Harley website Every time I order off Harleys website I get it in like a week I dont understand I dont understand how a dealer takes longer to get apart then I can get Also Google says there are open on Monday and Tuesdays I show up and closed I am just going to buy my parts offline I get faster that way and are cheaper on highly website
Went there on 4 11 2019. Stood by the brand new trike for about 5 minutes. Walked theu the entire dealership. Nobody ever spoke to us. No they werent busy.We arrived at 10 am. First customers. Salesman sat at his desk. I yelled thanks for your help when we walked out.If you want to buy a Harley find a dealer that wants to sell you a 38k trike.
The service was top notched, if your into ATVs , Motor Cycles, off road fun they have you covered And a huge selection of metal Harley Davidson art , clothes from adult to baby sizes , leather just a ton off great things. And a parts and service department as well! Very nice!
Not sure what people are posting with 1 star, but we got a flat on Saturday night, had it towed to them, and spoke with Brian first thing on Sunday morning. A service tech volunteered his time on Sunday and we rode the bike home! Outstanding people and 1st class service, THANK YOU!!!
Huge thanks to Tyler and the mechanic(s) who got me back on the road Thursday morning 7/31/14. My bike developed issues early on an Iron Butt ride of 2000 miles... My bike was on a rack and being repaired before you were even officially open. We completed the ride successfully and I dont think it would have happened without your help... Thank you again! I like dealing with Shiawassee Sports Center as they ave treated me good in the past but the fact is they are usually short staffed so getting service there is usually a wait. A month ago I was looking to buy a bike, waited about 15 minutes for someone to assist me and finally walked out. Last week called about a part, parts department was busy so a lady took my information and someone was supposed to call me back, never happened. Called Vehicle City, got parts department right away and bought the part there.
If it was not under warranty, I would have done the work myself. Service writer was very unprofessional and would never return my calls. I called a month later to find he had been let go, and nobody knew anything about my quad until I called. I will say Vince in parts was very helpful and professional. But otherwise if its in for service and its not a Harley, its gonna sit
Made an appointment to have my rear tire replaced, and was told by Scott in the service department that I would only take an hour and I could wait while they did it.But when I came time to do the job I was told that they wouldnt be able to get to it that day. Its just me and I would be riding the bike in to have it serviced, if I were to leave the bike I would have no way of getting home. WHY DID I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT IN THE FIRST PLACE? Then I was told the next soonest appointment was the first part of June. I already made an appointment why would I make another one? Now I have to scramble to find someone to put this tire on so I can enjoy the holiday weekend. What a joke.
We bought a new 2018 ultra limited this winter at SCC and are very satisfied with the experience. Every member of their staff in all of departments treated us like friends and spent alot of time showing us things we had interest in and answering all of our questions. I would recommed them to anyone who is looking for a good Harley dealership.
On our way back from the U.P. on our honeymoon and encounter back tire issues. These guys were closed and locked up when we went knocking on a Sunday evening. Ron was still on site and came out to assist. Odds were against us at this time. Riding a Yamaha FJR1300 they didnt have a tire for me. So we stayed till Monday in a near by hotel. The next day Ron loaned us a truck with a trailer to take the bike 11 miles south to a shop that could accommodate us. This was an incredible act of random kindness. Thank you Ron and thank you Shiawassee Sports Center for your selfless act. I will return to give you my business.
Always a stop here while were in Frankenmuth for our annual girls trip for a gift for hubby! Great things in there as xmas gifts! Hubby doesnt ride but he loves HD stuff!! Nice people in there as well to service you! Had free gift wrap at xmas & santa was there too! I bought a great shirt there for hubby & daughter bought him the nicest pair of sunglasses ive ever seen!!
Traveling with friends and his coolant light kept coming on so stopped at Shiawassee Harley and service said drive it till it stops running, its air cooled you will be fine. They did not have time to take 15 minutes to look at. Stopped at Route 30 Harley Davidson and couldnt be nicer, looked it over and low and behold he has a bad water pump and they have parts in stock and fixing it so we get on our way.This is the way customers should be treated.
Stay away they give me a false temp plate after buying used bike. taken over a month on title still dont have it, secretary of state will be starting investigation. parts take weeks still no sign of that just a bunch of run around and nobody knows whats goin on very shady and a horrible 1st bike experience find somewhere else like great lakes H.D in bay city cant be any worse. one star because i have to
I took my polaris quad in over two months ago to get an oil change. Ended up. Replacing the belt it only had 200 miles on it. Needle and seat had to be replaced. I moved to birch run and it was alot closer for me to take it there. A simple oil change ended up costing me 600.00. I will take it to stevens cycle in midland. it will save me 400.00 and i will get it back in a reasonable time.
Jury is back in! Tommy at Shiawassee Sports Center confirms I have 20 more months on my factory warrantee concerning the 2017 HD Custom xl1200c. Just a minor misunderstanding. Also, I want to tell you that Scott and his service crew did an excellent job with helping me install my back rest/sissy bar. Kudos to Scott, Tommy and Greg at Shiawassee. Thank you very much.
Brian Curtis....Very unprofessional. Lost my business after dealing there since they opened. New owner and has a big surprise coming.Treat all like you treated me and you will go broke.He wont last long and its not hard to tell.... Rude as hell.Many other dealers in the area... We shall shop elsewhere.
Called for a part for my sled. Was told he call me back in 20 mins he was busy. 2.5 hours later recieved a call back, only to tell me he did not forget about me and would call me back again. Did not hear from him again until following day at 11am. I called another dealer and had the part ordered in 5 minutes. Parts man at Shaiwaseesaid he was really busy. Understaffed...
Would not budge on price or kick in a t-shirt after spending 13,500 bucks on a bike, but did get a very nice deal on my road king anyway. Scott was doing the best he could and more than likely would have parted with a t shirt with their advertisement (name) on it but thats management for in. Thanks Scott
I drove past 2 other dealers and an hour to have service done here...twice.Tyler in service was very knowledgeable and took care of everything I needed on my trunk detach on my CVO,15k,new tires and delivered my bike back to me.The second visit I dealt with Vince and again,great service.He squeezed me in on a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend and had me in and out in about 45 minutes.Thanks and this place will be my go to HD dealer from now on.
Tyler is the service department is the man I got several quotes for a stage 4 kit on my 2018 ultra limited and they met the other quotes then beat them by over a $1000 theyve earned my business after that was my 1st time there Ill definitely be making a trip back there
RodeRide from PA with our HOG chapter and up to Mackinac island and back to Frankenmuth. Clutch throw out bearing disintigrated on Saturday. Took it in to their service department and Tyler took it right in and they fixed that day. Thanks a bunch to the group at this dealership!
Took my bike in twice for the same problem,wont give them a third chance ,they dont Know what they are doing or they are too lazy to do it.you should not have a Harley dealership if its too much of a problem to do your job ,this was a small repair might I add leaking brake fluid on a 2018 bike under warranty not an engine rebuild .

2022-04-21Stopped in because I was interested in purchasing a side by side. The man at the counter seemed reluctant to let me in to look at the inventory. Thought that seemed odd but he eventually obliged. I had some questions regarding pricing and options. The man proceeded to tell me that he didn’t know and that “I’m not the sales guy” after I asked him if there was a sales guy available he said “well yeah I’m the only one here”. I felt like he didn’t take me seriously because I looked younger (30 years old) little did he k is I was prepared to buy in cash today. Hopefully someone higher up than him sees this and realizes that this man should be left to watch a gas station let alone manage high ticket sales like this. 0 stars was not an option or I would have left 0. Highly unsatisfied with my experience.

2022-05-08Ken and his staff were great. I ordered my Ranger in March(22 Northstar Ultimate Ride Command). The only hiccup has been the chip shortage affecting it being delivered with Ride Command. I took delivery a couple weeks ago and will return for the Ride Command install when the unit ships. They even indulged me and install remote start and will install seat heaters when they install the Ride Command. Overall, it was a great experience.

2022-05-11Went to go buy a Harley Davidson t-shirt and they had none and informed me they are no longer a Harley Davidson franchise. I hope this saves someone a trip. They did have a handful of clothing and a few Motorcycles.

2021-12-29Poor excuse for a Harley dealer and worse excuse for employees.Total of six or eight bikes on the floor, all sporting not for sale signs. Not sold or do not touch, simply not for sale. Makes for a pretty weak browsing experience. But they dont care.The lone employee on duty completely ignored us as we entered and looked at the sparse offerings in parts and motorclothes. He appeared to be extremely busy looking at a phone or computer at a desk in the rear of the store and couldnt be bothered to even look at us.Want to get the lone employee to stop ignoring you? Just pause to look at one of the the not for sale bikes. His first words to me were a reprimand. Way to make your customers feel welcome, dude. I asked what a particular mod was on one of the bikes. His friendly answer - - that bikes sold. You cant get that. I wont stoop to name-calling, but if I did, this guy would warrant a doozy.AVOID this place and its low-caliber employees and go to a real Harley dealership that cares about you and is interested in selling you something (and actually has something to sell). There are plenty of others available who get it.

2022-01-09Beware! One star is even too much to give. Waste of my time. No one was in the store. We were the only customer they needed to give attention to for a refund. And the associate was relentless, I thought I was being interrogated. Uncommon, un necessary line of questioning. Ridiculous! I only wish others could have heard his Stupidity. It was a simple return, purchased on my card. Easy look up! I have worked customer service and this was by far the worse EVER. Never again!

2022-03-01One star is too many. Should be an option for ZERO stars. After 5+months we find out we we dont have an order. Had nothing but broken promises and excuses. Complete waste of time...find someone who actually cares about the customer and their business.

2019-01-09My Husbands Christmas Gift was a brand new pair of Harley Davidson boots... Not only did they order in a timely manner to receive at our store but also bent over backwards to make sure I was able to give My husband something on Christmas morning that he truly wanted with their convenient return policy and warranty I had no worries as this lady was amazing on Christmas Eve I received them today and cannot wait to see the look on my husbands face!!! Ill recommend this store and business to anyone

2021-02-17Walked in here this fall with every intention of buying a bike, cash money. Walked around for about 15 mins and realized this is not the place I want to buy anything from ever again. I was alone, a female, dead set on buying and was not once addressed or welcomed by any staff. I have been here numerous times to pick up parts in the back and never really went to the front showroom and I can see why many people dont even bother. I was the only customer in the showroom, and there were 2 employees, 1 in apparel, and 1 in parts. Neither of them looked up once. Hell I should have started that Road King right there and drove off with it. I wonder if they would have noticed then??

2021-04-08Stopped by to see what they had in stock, talked to the salesman about what I was looking for. He explained that they didnt have any thing.I told him I have seen some 2017 road glides around $18,000 on FB market place, but when I looked them up on nada they should be around low 12,000 to upper 16000 +- depending on private party or dealer. He looked at me and said there was no way and basically called me a liar. This is a reason why I will not shop here. The staff here are arrogant and they dont really care about the customer service. This is the third time in 3 years that I have stopped by giving them a third chance.
