Comment: Ive rented from them for the last 7 years now. Ive never had a problem with them or their equipment. The rates are extremely fair compared to others. Check around! Do they get busy sometimes? Heck yeah! But, Ive never felt rushed or treated unfairly. Rob, their driver who delivers and picks up equipment is a Rockstar!

Comment: Worst customer service I have ever experienced. We rented two large pieces of equipment from the company, when we being loaded up the manager came out and rushed the employee to get us out of the yard. No checking of equipment.Upon return, we returned one piece just fine and when returning the second, the tire went flat. I am now being charged for pickup of their unchecked equipment and the tire repair. Manager has terrible people and customer service skills. Won’t be using this place again and definitely won’t be referring anyone.

Comment: The first time I went in to get a uhualfrom Simi Urent I figured I just caught the guys on a bad day. But I just went back again for another trailer and can confirm this is the worst place to do business. The owner of the location mistreats staff members regularly in front of customers. His attitude is not much better with the customers either. Definitely the least pleasant place I have gone to. Take the extra time and go literally anywhere else.

Comment: I really feel bad for the Don guy! His boss Gary is just a miserable bitter person without customer service skills. He needs to take a training on how to treat his customers and be nice to his employees in front of other employees and customers! Very bad experience!

Comment: I went to rent a U Haul trailer and they were very difficult to deal with. They wanted an alternative contact number and insisted on testing it to make sure someone on the other end picked up. You dont need to bug my alternative contact while shes at work. I left and went to the U-Haul location on LA Ave in Simi Valley and they were quite helpful. Dont go to this location.

Comment: DONT LET THE NEGATIVE REVIEWS SWAY YOU. ITS BS.Ive been using Simi-U-Rent since 2003. Im a homeowner here in Simi and do all my own construction. They have always come through with exactly what I needed, Tractors, Trailers, whatever.They are hard working pros, prices are reasonable and they do what they say they will do (rare these days).

Comment: Their equipment is ancient. No kidding. Both the pressure washer and airless I rented looked like they had been in service as long as I have. O-rings were shot out on the wand of the pressure washer so it gushed water on me as well as my project. Owner was snotty. I should open a rental yard with equipment from this century. His prices warrant at least OCCASIONAL new tool purchase!! 😆

Comment: Well, we’re never going to Simi-U-Rent again. We rented a piece of machinery to get our fence posts out so we could put up a new fence.The concrete was light enough that my fiancé could lift it, but the hydraulic arm on the dingo we rented bent. Probably because the damn thing is as old as dirt.My fiancé did the right thing, told them what happened, and asked if we could have a pro rated rental for something else so we can finish the job. The owner refused to rent anything further to us and was awful about the whole situation. Thankfully we were able to get a partial refund because we weren’t able to get to the parts that used the other equipment we rented.I would strongly advise anyone considering renting from there to find another place. Their customer service is god awful and the machines will only work for an hour or two after you’ve paid for a day.

Comment: They are a mans world when you walk in which is great. Theyve got all kinds of tools, and gadgets. The only thing is they are really slow at helping customers. I had to wait for 20 minutes just to get what I needed, then it took them another 10 to figure out the computer system. Sure those guys have been there for years behind the counter, but cant they at least teach them how to use a computer?
