Customer service was sublimely sucktastic.I wanted dirt delivered to my home at 8:30 in the morning, After 2 and a half hours of waiting, I called Angelos to ask where my dirt was.Customer service told me that there were no trucks to take the dirt to my house,and that I would have to wait until a truck showed up. She told me Theyll get there when they get there.Horrific service, unprofessional, and the hold music wasnt even music, it was advertisements.
My plow broke down on me the other night so i pulled into Angelos to see if i could get some advise on what might be wrongand they were packed with customers and really busy.Matt and Joe were very knowledgeable and took the time to walk me through the repair.While i was there i found out theyre open 24 hours for salt during snowstorms!I personally couldnt be happier! Thanks guys for all your help!
Went in to buy some plow parts for my snow plow, they were very helpful with what i needed when i noticed other items on display it was great because i needed more hydraulic oil and a caution light. Great service and great prices, i will for sure inform my friends and neighbors about my experience there. A+
Just purchased 2 Saltdog shpe 2500ch spreaders. Local companies had a month lead time. Angelos was able to get them delivered within days with cheap shipping, over 600 miles away. Parts experts are top notch, Jr. was able to help us receive parts within 2 days with us calling last minute. Interstate Glass will be dealing with Angelos every season.
Absolutely horrible customer service. I wish I saw the reviews before I made any purchase with this company. When I went to purchase sand, I asked the guy in the front how he was doing, and he said not good, but oh well. Right there and then I felt uncomfortable being in the place and had a hard time asking detailed questions because the guy was short and in a bad mood when i made the purchase. So the day of delivery comes on a saturday morning, and where do they dump the sand, literally in my front yard. I left the drive way clear for a reason, in order to move the sand to the backyard. Although i was asleep when they called, I did call the guy back with no amswer the first time. Then I called Angelos to request to come back to move the sand that i am giving you permission to move, and they tell me to use a wheelbarrow? They also told me that I would have to call the company that delivered the sand, in which they provided me with a non-working number. To make matters even worse, I called the guy that delivered my sand back again, and asked him to move the sand, and he said I would have to call Angelos back. Hey now, I thought it was a different contracting company that delivered the sand? So I call Angelos back, and the same guy who provided me with a non-working number tells me that they will not be able to move the sand to the backyard and for me to get a wheelbarrow and move it myself. You are talking about 3 yards of sand now. I did have some words with him which were harsh, but how would you feel if a company treats you like this? Now my driveway is blocked and spent money on this sand with delivery for what, to be treated like this. All I want is for them to come move the sand to my backyard, and yes I GIVE YOU PERMISSION. Seriously I thought that this is a reputable company, how they been in business for all this years really concerns me? I only live a mile away from Angelos, you can at least come and correct the problem and move the sand. NEVER NEVER AGAIN NOR WILL I REFER THIS COMPANY TO ANYBODY!!!!
I have been a satisfied customer for many years. Angelos has been our go to place for ALL our landscaping projects; a paver stone circular drive, a paver stone patio, a full size volley ball court to only name a few! The products are top quality, the deliveries are prompt and the service is genuine! Junior and Joe are extremely knowledgeable and helpful, making one feel they are the only customer!
The customer service and quality is horrible! We bought a gardening item that turned out to be defective. When we went to return the item a few days later, the guy at the desk refused to give our money back. He was very rude and even suggested that we did something to make it defective. The people who run this store are very unprofessional. They should be outside hauling stones and sand instead of having any contact with the customers!I was insulted with the rude and unprofessional behavior of management at this place. We will NEVER shop at this store again...
Ordered 30 yards of mulch. They delivered only 20 a day before our job because the driver thought another person was going to deliver the other 10. We had to scramble on the work day to make it work and they hurried out the missing 10. I appreciated the hustle. But this should have never happened. Clearly they do not have the right system in place to make sure a person gets their order properly fulfilled. That is concerning.
The worst Customer Service EVER!!! How are you going to tell someone that plows that they cant buy salt because they havent bought it in a month. My husband called in to buy salt and the lady (if you want to call her a lady) told him that since he hasnt bought salt in over a month, he cant have any. When he explained to her that in that month time he has spent well over $1,000.00 to fix his plow, she informed him she didnt care. When he told her he was going to leave bad feedback on their website she informed him that she would blow a kiss at every bad comment he left. Are you kidding me!!! Not to mention that he has replaced the toggle switches on his plow three times because they keep busting. Also once he got his plow motor back, after $1000.00 to get it rebuilt, it was having the same issue it had when he took it in. They sold him another toggle switch and said that should do it. So right there that tells me that they did not diagnose the problem properly and took advantage of a plow truck that needed his plow. If you are smart you will NEVER go here!!!!
Wow! I came into Angelos today and purchased some blackwood mulch and lawn edging and i was pleasantly suprized by the quick and freindly service they provided, im home now leaving this review and couldnt be happier!I wll definitely be recommending to all my family and friends!
Not impressed!!I had a bad experience there about 7-8 years ago and thought Id give them another shot, that turned out to be a disappointment.I called the office at 3:15 pm to ask if they were still mixing concrete? The response was yes we are so I drove over there only to walk in and be told we stop mixing at 3:00 by the same voice I heard over the phone. Her reply was we start mixing again in the morning. Not terribly helpful!!Probably my last trip there, ever!
I have been a loyal customer of Angelos in Farmington for the past ten years, for my home and business . I have always received great customer service from Don, Dana and the whole crew. I would recommend Angelos to a home owner or a professional landscaper for all their landscaping needs. Dorothy, Dees Landscaping.
They are convinient for me. Have a decent selection for a premium. One of the only places I know that will deliver dirt and wood chips and they have ready mixed cement you can tow away. I recieved some free advance for the raised patio I installed. I only bought a few key sections from them and the rest i drove way down to menards in toledo and paid them to deliver and was still cheaper. This place is not the big box store so dont expect the deskers to bend over backwards for your business.
This company has the absolute worst customer service of any company Ive ever dealt with! The manager has a horrible attitude towards customer complaints, so they have no desire to correct any mistakes or even try to understand your position. I would never recommend them to anyone. There are many other options for the products and services they render; Id strongly advise taking your business elsewhere.
Was transferred 4 times. Then Mr. Wonderful himself (Brian in Parts) took my call. Ah fun. Showed no initiative. I apparently asked 1 to many questions (2nd question). Rude would be giving him credit. Guess well get our stuff from another dealer. 1 star. Can I give zero? PS - his voice reminded me of a guy who was on To Catch A Predator.
Let me first say that my reason for giving one star is of my opinion and my opinion alone. No one asked me to do this and it is strictly on customer service and not on product which I cannot attest to. A friend of mine posted here and to be honest I was just going to walk away... But then I read this Are we going to trust the decision of a CDL Driver with years of experience with the dump truck or someones opinion that has never driven a dump truck nor has a CDL to give a professional opinion of whether or not the delivery could be done? I would suggest editing that comment if possible. Anyone wth a small business knows that the customer is always right (even if our opinions may differ). Your response started off well and informative but as I reread it with the context created by the comment above it now sounds rude and aggressive. It would have been better to say in the professional opinion of our driver we had to dump in that particular area. We do apologize for any inconvenience and.... But there isnt an apology. Instead there is just someone being passive aggressive. In your response to your response, I will have to give you one star for not being able to handle this appropriately.
Worst customer service ever at the 8 mile location!!! I will never give this company my business again, after being long time customer because they were convenient. But they told me one price on supplies and when I came in to pay, they way over charged me and refused to negotiate, even though I was assured a less expensive amount just a few hours before! Use any other company at all costs!
Had a ton of rock delivered. Work order stated drop on cement which sits in front of the garage. Driver dropped the load at the end of the drive, which is asphalt! Now, the driveway can not be used! Drivers should contact owner and confirm the drop location, OR just READ what the order states and use a brain! HELLO!!

2019-02-15Always lots of product, materials and parts on hand. Nice thing is they have many locations relatively close and will often find what your looking for in the event they don’t have something for you. Good people and seems like a solid business!Down side is they seem to close early sometimes during winter so make sure you call ahead if you need something!

2021-02-24This place is not customer service driven. They messed up my order, charged me for their mistakes by revising my initial order months later without communicating or approving the charges, and then caused more chaos in resolving the issue. I was cursed at over the phone countless times. If you are looking for help while on site, good luck. I have come here several times through the years but will not be back ever again. There are better shops and people to do business with.

2017-09-14Ive been coming to this place for years. It never was a service friendly place, but after not just my experience but others I talked with including some of the staff have commented on how poor the customer service is. Ill never be back there,.. spent over $500 for materials and was treated so rudely. Last year I spent $30,000 on a patio I installed for a customer and again was treated very rudely!! As I was being rung up, it was I was a bother as they were on phone. Yard people wouldnt direct me or others, which created chaos!! Terribly unorganized!!People dont waste your time with these people, they dont deserve your patronage. Theres other places.

2017-01-28I have been buying Landscape supplies and Salt from Angelos Supplies since the 1990sDon and Dana have always gone out of their way to help me.Its convenient to know that they are open 24 hours a day during Snowstorms and whenever Ive had plow or salter issues the guys down at the parts warehouse have never failed me.They have great prices and a friendly and knowledgeable staff.

2017-12-29WOW after reading some of the complaints I am blown away. I run a part time snow removal business KNM and have been buying 80lb bags of rock salt from Angelos since 2010 about a pallet or two per season. However a couple of years ago when we had a very bad (Good in our business) winter and the salt supply got low all of a sudden when I tried to purchase a pallet of 80lb bags they could not find me in their system. I was in need in order to for-fill my contracts but they would not sell to me, they forced me to purchase 50lb bags at $8.00/bag. I voiced my concern and the counter guy was SUPER CRAPPY with me. However the following season when I came to purchase a pallet of 80s they had no problem finding me in the system. I think this falls under the term price gouging. Man I am sure glad Mains on 8 mile started selling salt a few years ago.For sure Angelos is going to come back with all they had was 50s and had to ration it out but this was not the case there was many pallets of 80s in the yard. Guess I was not a preferred customer during this time.

2016-08-02Angelos Supplies was very helpful to me on my visit. When I first arrived I was greeted with smiling faces and knowledgeable staff. I presented my needs and was given a full tour of the supplies on hand and even give him some new ideas to consider. The prices were comparable to others in the area and I like that they were in my general vicinity. I would recommend Angelo Supply to my family and friends.Johnny Mendoza

2017-04-29Awful customer service for anything outside of taking your order. They took down the wrong quantity of mulch to be delivered and actively disputed the amount with me over the phone despite not being the person who even took the order. On top of that, they wanted to charge twice for the delivery fee to send a second driver out to fill the original order.Was a fan at first, now they lost me forever. Better off picking up bags (even in bulk) from Home Depot.

2015-03-02Angelos Supplies has been supplying my company (Monroe Grounds Management, LLC ~ Monroe Township, NJ) with salters and landscape equipment for several years. Matt and Earl are always very attentive to all of my needs, correspondence and orders. Always the best shipping and product prices ~ UNBEATABLE! Any warranty issues were also ALWAYS handled quickly and efficiently to make sure I was back up and running as quickly as possible. Shipping usually very quick and smooth...never received anything damaged or anything. I highly recommend this company to anyone, even out of state companies like myself! Thanks Angelos!
