Very impressed with their ground staff and on the flight, they made an exception to reserved seats for me and kids as my boarding was delayed by my stroller, very friendly attendants, WiFi, live tv and free refreshments. Its my all time favorite...oh not forgetting 2 free checked luggage and on flight.👍👍👍
The staff are always so friendly and it is refreshing to see their humanity in action. Witnessed one employee navigate the boarding of several customers in wheelchairs, and she did so with such finesse. The customers were nervous about flying and she did a great job of keeping them at ease.
My flights is to board at 5:50 am Southwest wants you there 2hours before flight for check in I have been sitting in lobby since 3:30am . It is now 5:00 am and it still no one to check me in the airport Is full of people now and I’ve been standing in line for a hour and the is still no one to check me in. The self serve check in machine are all out of service. I’m very disappointed in Southwest for it
Prices are awesome but if you need leg room pay the fee to check in early or choose another airlines. Bigger than Spirit but still not comfortable for 6ft and up unless you sit in exit row. Free luggage is great too! Just wish they hadnt banged a hole in mine on the way to Miami for me to qualify for it. First Southwest flight may be my only Southwest flight.
Good low affordable fare, with 2 free check bags and 1 carry-on - and still have refreshment and snack! The free check bags is a very positive added value, as all other airlines in the US have up the fee for checked bag(s). Now that is the way to promote customer satisfaction; since the refreshment/snack are low cost, but to the passenger that has been crunched up, it restored a bit of dignity. Service is good, and understandably, pretty full capacity. The flight got delayed, but dont know what caused the delay, as it was not explained to us passengers. The trip was safe, & luggage was OK. It is good to install the Southwest app on your phone so as to get you boarding pass electronically, as well as other info.
When I fly, I try to fly Southwest. The fares are usually the most reasonable and their employees really seem enthusiastic about their jobs with Southwest. Every so often, one of the flight attendants will provide a very entertaining safety brief. I have yet to have a terrible experience with Southwest. ~ JTC ~
Need more leg room. When we were deplaning from our plane in Jacksonville airport, we saw 12 people waiting to board that were in wheelchairs, are you telling me that these passengers could get out of the plane quickly if a case of a fire on planes now a days. I think not. The FAA needs to test in real time situations to test planes and make airlines and plane builders build planes that gives passengers more room thus making them safer for everyone.

2021-12-24The experience I encountered seems like a leap to the past. I’d be weary scheduling flights in the future.Flight bought SLC to Puerto Vallarta with a layover on each flight.Two weeks later I get a voicemail asking me to call reservations as they need to reschedule, the entire company will not be flying to Puerto Vallarta?I was told I could get a full refund or they would transfer to another flight.I let the reservations agent know this is a work trip and my dates couldn’t be very flexible.She was very nice and suggested I wait and call back December 23rd when they would 100% have the flight scheduled determined.After calling and again no flights being available, I was told my refund request was being sent for processing. I need to allow 1 or 2 days for processing and then 1 to 2 BILLING CYCLES for my funds to come back to my card? Seems like in this day a 60 day wait, after charging me for a flight that didn’t exist is extreme.When I asked the agent to note my frustration she read me the note and her summary had to frustration, inconvenience, or empathy noted.

2019-10-11Our go to airline!Competitive pricing, unbeatable customer service (no matter what airport I’m stuck in )and a reward program I can appreciate!Southwest not only offers your second bag free but at a 50lb weight limit (it’s a life saver for parents like me!) family boarding isn’t bad either!!Convenient curbside check-in‘s and ticket printouts are the best!My son loves the drinks and snacks offered and always shoots for a window seat! They have even given him little pilot wings for a cute memorable souvenir! (It’s the little things & this airlines does them!)Always flying southwest!

2021-04-13I travel on SWA, on most of my trips my luggage is damaged. SWA have a disclaimer stating that theyre NEVER responsible for damaged luggage. This give Tom and Leroy the opportunity to practice football with your luggage.The real Joke is that you pay $30 for early check-in and you are B-14. Seventy five people enters the plane before YOU.My last travel, I got a text stating that the flight was delayed 2 hours. By the time I got to the airport, it was delayed again which caused me to miss my connection. After trying to contact SWA for several hours. Im told, I am sorry but, theres nothing we can do, (have a nice time sleeping at the airport).I once only flew SWA exclusively but, now theyre a joke. No direct flights, lay overs 5 hours, damaged luggage and no one answering the phones.No stars for you SWA!!!

2019-10-13Had a very nice flight. It was years since I had flown and was worried to fly but I loved it. I usually take the train but the flight was awesome! The employees from reservation to pilot were amazing. Keep up the great work flight attendants!
