This is my second review I dont know what happened to the first but DONT BUY HERE, they are not good people they sell bad cars and they know it. They sell you an expensive warranty that you cant use until 3 months after you get your car. Ive had to replace the engine, transmission, rack&pinion, all four of the engine/ trans mounts, power steering pump, fuel pump, starter, and more before having the car a year. They lied and said they replaced the transmission and they didnt. And that was in the first 30 days of buying it. I didnt know about the lemon law but it protects you against people like these that target people who are in need. Please dont let them continue to take advantage of people in the community. They do not care and if you think you got a lemon contact the financing company immediately and let them know that with a list of the repairs. Lets not keep paying shady companies to take advantage of us.
Was looking to get a new car when I get my taxes. Karla was very helpful picking out cars in my price range. Now just waiting on the check to come in. So I can go see Karla again to make my purchase.

I suggest to stay away from their after market parts if you want good quality parts and they do not accept returns. They do not care about their customer service they only care about money. Save yourself a hassle and go somewhere that accepts returns

I seen the ad for this place on facebook and was a little hesitant because of it being in detroit However after having a phone conversation with karla i felt a sense of relife she is very pleasant to speak with. She gave me several options and went over them in detail she took her time and went over every last detail. For her to be a younger woman she was very knowledgeable and helpful anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle ask for karla she will make it stress free and very easy
I think the salesman George was very accommodating. I experienced some minor issues when I first purchased the car. I took the car to the shop that was recommended and the staff there was so helpful! I love my car, although I do have to have some minor repairs it’s kinda expected when I have a used car.
*UPDATE! they have replied I never purchased from them but there is a picture of me an the vehicle posted in the photos an on their fb page! SCAMMERS! * Bought a GMC Terrain 6 months ago. When I got it had a quart of oil in it, losing antifreeze an oil, an now just in time for the holiday season it needs a new engine... coolant getting into the engine...engine is sludged. Warranty company???? Every hurdle given to the dealership that the mechanics at al Serra refunded me my entire fee to diagnosis because they felt the warranty company was playing games an they didn’t want to put me in a rough spot by continuing on through all their continuous request to tear down the engine..... DO NOT BUT FROM HERE. Your welcome * an when I took the car back to special way shortly after my buy about the coolant leak an the car shutting off....they reset the codes quickly an sent me on my way. Told me to come back in a few day if I had any trouble. I mean these guys are great 👎🏾

Selling BAD cars to GOOD people! Leased a truck 5/2019 first the stereo didn’t work( they had a 3rd party fix it) then the brakes were squeaking ( told it was cheap pads put on it) I had to come out of my pocket and pay for better pads $100, now my truck won’t keep a charge and sitting dead in my driveway (after personally purchasing a new battery $200) . Paid a deductible of $100 to get my alternator, belt and front control arms done! all the while still having to pay a car note ($381 to be exact) on a truck I can’t drive no more then 2 weeks without some more BS going on with it, and let’s not forget my odometer works when it wanna which is affecting my extended warranty! I’m a single mom who works hard to provide now I’m losing money cause of this! DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!

I recently got a nice jeep with only 90k miles there was some minor issues that Ramy assisted me with no argument or issue. I recieved excellent service same day repair and a awesome deal on a set of new tires. Please use them for your car care amd next purchase.
Ive never felt the need to write a negative review for anything before. Outright bought vehicle for almost 10k upfront, and have had nothing but problems. Nice newer vehicle, I expected to be putting some work into it as it was a used car but buying this car has severely negatively impacted my life. Right out of the shop, desperately needed an oil change, plus the air filters were ancient and covered with dead bugs, needed an entire set of new tires immediately. Within the first week of owning the car, the engine light came on AND my brakes failed and needed to be replaced completely. Within the first month of owning the car, I was up to over 2k in repairs. Ball joints were never there, needed new arms, wiring was all bad, needs new tire bearings, needs new raidiator, transmission is on its way out, I would list everything that went wrong with the car but I can save time by just saying almost anything you could imagine went wrong. Bad parts, parts just falling off, crucial parts that just were never there in the first place, bad wiring and so many issues inside and outside. One of my headlights was literally held in place with duct tape, wiring and all. Part of my gas tank is just not there, it overflows. My muffler flew off my car while I was on the freeway. Most recently, tire exploded, had it replaced, new tire promptly exploded too. Turns out Im in for another 1k+ at least to fix my car, almost everything related to my tires and axles are just unusable. My tires will keep literally exploding until I fix it. Ive spent over 13k on a scrap of metal I can no longer drive and cant sell. This car has literally endangered my life (not to mention the lives of others!) parts have failed and my tires have blown up on the freeway MULTIPLE TIMES. I havent even had it a year. Please, please take your business elsewhere. I took the car in for free brakes repair as soon I got it and not only was the repair not free, my brakes were screaming louder after and I think the shop mechanic intentionally made it worse.Edit: on top of everything else we found out today that the miles were illegally rolled back, which explains a lot.

Purchased a Dodge Dakota 2005. Havent even had the vehicle 30 days and the transmission is gone. Save your money unless you like wasting money. Wish I could give them 0 stars. I understand As Is but this is just a perfect example of a scam artist.Dont waste your money on their warranty either because they will claim theyre too busy so it might be a week or so before they get to your car. NEVER shopping with THEM again.
Make sure you ask them to verify if the title is clean or rebuilt/salvage. I found that they advertise clean titles, however when you specifically ask they say its actually rebuilt and its advertised incorrectly. For the car I inquired about, it was advertised with a clean title on both Craigslist AND their website. They do seem nice and Im sure they help out a lot of people get into a car. Buying a rebuilt titled car isnt a bad deal and allows you to get a decent car at a decent price, it just feels a bit dishonest that they advertise all as clean titles when they are not always. Also, they advertise a minimum of $1000 for any trade in, working or not. When asked about this, was told that is ONLY if you are financing the vehicle you purchase. For the seller, dont be sketchy, just disclose everything up front.
Horrible horrible place. These men took advantage of me and my situation and put me in the only car on the lot that did not have a sticker price on it. Charged me more than 3 times the amount than the vehicle is worth. Even after stating more than 4 times that I was not comfortable with the price or the vehicle I was still backed into a corner and am now stuck in a vehicle that has needed so many repairs over the last 2 years when I was originally told he put me in this vehicle because it had the least repairs per mile. I was sent home in a car that had 2 lug nuts holding a wheel on. The car had no working radio, they told me it would be fixed before leaving the lot... Another lie. I didnt have a radio for more than 2 weeks. The front end needed a lot of work. I had to threaten with a lawyer in order to get anything fixed and when all was said and done, they never gave me the registration for my car. They told me my warranty was included, which was actually an extra $1,500, that covers absolutely NOTHING! Even with the warranty you still have to pay a $150 dedictible plus whatever else tue warranty wont cover which is anything outside of 1/4 of the price of the repair. Meaning it is a waste of money. Go to another dealership. I went here because of the in house insurance which also doesnt exist. Youll pay for it, but not gst anything saying or showing you have insurance.
I bought a car from here and it ended up having major problems. I started having problems in the first 90 days with my transmission, as well as other minor things needing to be done that they could have done before the sale like an oil change and tune-up. When I called them back that were very smart-mouthed on the phone and told me exactly what was wrong with the car but hid these problems during the sale.They told me that they had a mechanic that I could take it to and that they would pick up some of the cost of the repair. When I attempted to take the car for work, they had given me the address to the Universal Mall! They go under the guise that they are helping people with poor or no credit, but its a scam. Now after 90 days it stopped running and I had to have it towed. The engine went out !

I bought the car Ive been wanting for years, and the services was excellent. I brought a mechanic before buying the car, and Special Way didnt have a problem fixing the problems that was pointed out. I would recommend their services.

We bought a 2011 GMC from these guys from day one problems took it to their mechanic Mike its a three times to get the air conditioning fixed it took three times and me having to take a day off work and go on a test drive with Mike to show him how bad the car pull to the right and vibrations he solve this problem by putting 15 weeks on one wheel so thats being on satisfactory the tires were used that he put on showing obvious defects the car does not have one tire that the name brand is the same so by resolving this cute leaves one City Tire on and puts 3 aggressive tires on which none match constant problem with a car from day one starting its been on a tow truck flatbed three times and today I was told that the next time I call them that its going to chaos money to take it to a dealership this is probably the worst experience in my 50 years of existence of buying a car weve been stranded four times and its just beyond ridiculous I will say the only good point of this car experience with this company is our salesman George he has been a very accommodating salesman he has returned our calls and I feel he is absolutely try to help us fix the problems with a vehicle but they you can tell in his voice hes getting stressed out I would just not suggest buying a car from these people oh and the top it off the vehicle that we purchased has for open factory recalls I got the paperwork and all the maintenance records on the vehicle its just ridiculous for the love of God get the VIN number and find out what is going on with a car before you purchase it from this business

After test driving their 2009 Chevy Traverse, i decided i liked it enough to purchase, but what a second opinion from my father and male friend. Ramy did not like this and just wanted my money. He was upset that my father test drove the truck and that we looked under the hood, wanted the oil changed and left blinker fixed. When i returned with half cash and half check, made out to Super Way Auto from my bank for $7,000, Ramy showed his true colors and blew up. Cursing me out, saying i was waisting his time, all the while he saw this check and counted cash. Customers before me were angry, trying to return an suv they said he sold with 109k miles, that really had 169k miles. This place is a joke. And Im blessed to not have purchased with them. I have 3 children and no money to waist. People should be allowed to have questions when purchasing a car. Ramy and Super Way Auto are a bunch of scammers who only want to hustle people out of their money. Take my word for it, do not trust these people......(update... June 16, 2018) Just now seeing your response Ramy. I will not entertain the lies that you told on here. You know this was not the case. Maybe you have me mixed up with someone else because i am not a disrespectful person #1 and #2 ghetto and ignorance are distasteful to me. You were very upset that i had men with me to help me make the right decision. Lord knows I am glad as well. All I am saying is shop at your own risk. 2022-04-14SCAMMERS! I ordered a part and I never received it. After ample time of waiting for it to arrive, I called Special Way Auto to cancel the order because it never came and they were extremely rude over the phone. Frustrated and getting no where I decided to end the conversation and let it go a few days and have my secretary call back on the status of my refund (again to a part my shop never received).My secretary called and he was extremely rude to her. Absolutely unwarranted and unnecessary! He wanted to discuss my conversation with her (to which she was not interested in) and she was calling on the refund only.The man would not give his name. He would not allow my secretary to speak to his boss. He would not service us and specifically told my secretary that he will not issue ANY refund unless I call and apologize to him. Never in all the years of business have I ever heard of such poor customer service and ignorance. Taking my money, not sending my order and refusing to issue a refund is STEALING. Needless to say, I had to call my credit card company to dispute the charges. These people need to learn out to deal with the public and how to deal with problems that occur in business. Trashy business all together (said by my secretary).

2022-08-15We bought a car here in July, and the starter isn’t working already. We had a great rapport with the sales people at first, but since then we found out they messed up all our paperwork (gave the insurance company their email and phone number as OUR contact info, causing us to miss messages from the insurance company which caused our premium to increase). I scheduled a time for them to look at some issues with the car, and when I arrived they told me they have no room for it and asked me to come back another day. They’ve had my plate for two weeks and did not notify me until two days ago, and now my starter has completely gone out (a problem they’ve been aware of and promised to fix) and they will not return my calls. Sincerely, AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS.

2021-06-08Best dealership I’ve ever been too and I worked for Lafontaine, Karla was so helpful and empathetic to my situation and got me my dream car, no my income isn’t high and no my credit isn’t good but I still got the payment I wanted and a 15k car with a low down payment. If you need a great reliable car come down to special way auto and hit up Karla she will hook it up. Literally only took about 20-30 minutes and I was out the door.
