Traveling from Michigan to Ohio. We had low tire pressure in driver’s side tire. They fit us right in. Very pleasant and helpful. Understand our situation and that we weren’t local. Fixed us right up. Checked all tire pressures and noticed back passenger was low. Discovered a nail in tire and plugged it right then and there. Excellent service! Highly recommend! Thank you!
These were some FANTASTIC people !!!! I was in desperate need of a product they had and everyone pitched in to help me out on a Friday even after the store closed. Managers , counter guys , mechanic , even let me use a couple small tools. I made it home safely with my truck camper lights working !!! Thank you all and God bless you all !!!

DO NOT USE THEM! FRUADS! SCAM ARTIST!!! Quoted over the phone a price per tire, I needed 5 for a trailer blown on my way up here. The older gentlemen took my name and number down wrote my quote up. Came back hour and half later to have the quote ripped up in my face, with my name on it, by another ASSociate telling me it was wrong, so the quote was 2x as much per tire! He said the other guy was wrong!!! Went to my car (without knowing I had people in it) ripped my tail gate open while I was still in then store trying to figure out how the tires double from a quote given to me on the phone and on paper, and was throwing the tires out of my truck. We were astonished and completely disrespected. Disgusted by his costumer service as well as he touching my vehicle.
The tire shop is always friendly and helpful. The only place I buy tires.

These guys were absolutely great! We traveled 4 hours from home to rent a place on Mullet Lake. We had two tires blow on our double axle trailer on the way up. Got into town and wanted to get the tires replaced before we went back home. Joel got me better tires, plus two spares (obvious reasons after the trip up). Took care of me in two days while we enjoyed our vacation, and now well have peace of mind traveling back. I would HIGHLY recommend these guys. Cheboygan is lucky to have them!
Spies Auto & Tires provided excellent service when I needed replacement trailer tires. They had an upgraded tire at a competitive price and had me rolling within 15 minutes! The also spotted a blown grease seal and a failed weld joint. They replaced the seal and proceeded to weld the trailer with no extra charge! This is an example of a great family-owned company that knows how to provide a surprise and a delight! I highly recommend Spies for all your vehicle needs! Keep up the great work!

Had 2 Interstate batteries 42 months old and for a small fee, they provided 2 fresh new batteries. Great personable staff and a knowledgeable group as well make any visit entertaining and educational.
Joel and Ryan exceeded my expectations. I am a difficult client and have a weird import car. I had a coolant loss issue and called spies before the downstate dealer to hose me..... haha..... they found the part and explained the different shipping options and cost accordingly. Problem solved. They also offered to deliver the parts to my mechanic.Highly recommend. I am very difficult to please and they did it and then some. Keep up the great work gentleman.
Got a battery from them. Was the wrong size and wrong power for my car. Would not recommend. Pricy and feel like they dont know what they are doing. Very dangerous. Even had to replace my alternator because the battery wasnt doing enough and it killed that too.

My van broke a strut about 300 yards from Spies. They had all the parts necessary. They were friendly on a very busy day. They worked me into the schedule and charged a fair price. 100% recommended.
Spies is the best. If you are a professional driver this is the place to go. Way better than a chain. The staff knows there stuff and they have a great inventory. Very professional and well run place. Prices are good and service is great. If you need parts this is the place to go.
If youre ever 150 miles from home on a Saturday afternoon and need help this is the place to be. They not only had the parts we needed to repair our car they helped in anyway they could to get the repair done. They loaned us tools, gave advice and were very friendly. Bought a vehicle out of the parking lot... drove it twice, been stranded twice. The tires keep popping. Tire salesmen? Charged me 30 bucks for a used tired the first time wont be calling them for it this time.Many other places to spend my money. The guy who did the vehicle sale said hes a tire salesman. Careful with these thieves.

Worst customer service experience I have ever had, the staff is extremely rude and i reccommend you spend your money elsewhere. The owner Dan Spies whom I spoke to did not even recognize his employees did anything wrong after hearing his employee was repeatedly using profanity toward and threatening a customer. Completely unexceptional.
Great store....The guys who work there are fantastic.While on vacation at Aloha state park, my motorcycle had an issue and would not start. They looked high and low for a battery that would fit.I put the new battery and nothing happened.They stayed late for me to return the battery on a Saturday afternoon.One of the mechanics friends just had the same issue...He told me what to do and my bike started right up and is still running just fine.Its a scary thing to be stuck 300 miles from home.If it wasnt for the great guys at Napa Cheboygan, it could have been a rough few days....P.S.I actually didnt even spend any money there after returning the battery and they still took care of me like that!
Outstanding service. Pulled in with our 27 motorhome and asked to have tire pressure checked. They squeezed us in between jobs and checked and filled all six tires to proper pressures.
Had a front tire blow out on our class a near Mackinaw City, just crossed the bridge. Was referred to Spies. Caleb was there in about an hour, replaced the tire in 25 min. We then decided to go to the shop 30 min away in Cheboygan and get the other front tire replaced. Ryan and Josh had me out within the hour. Made the rest of our trip with peace of mind. Thanks for everything.

I went in there to buy steel fuel line and they sold me break line! Im starting to wonder if they even know what they are doing. Plus when i called they guy was very snotty and rude. Im going to get my money back and never go there again

A couple nights ago I got a flat tire on my way home from work about 3 miles from home. The spare would NOT come off the truck so were on the side of the road for a good messing with this tire trying to get it loose and its not budging. A hundred cars drove right past and finally this nice man Tyler and his buddy stop to help us. Tyler just so happens to work at Spies, called his boss and managed to get us a spare to barrow until we could get it fixed. We are newer to cheboygan and coming from the metro detroit area this beyond blew our minds. Tyler said he wouldnt take any money for helping us... We drove to an ATM and got him some cash and stuffed it in his truck mirror. Go in today to give back the barrowed tire and get a new tire and Tyler paid for it and wouldnt take any money. Im still so blown away by your generosity I truly cant thank you enough. Thanks for being such great people... I will be back here for everything vehicle related.

2022-06-09Shout out to Ryan Meyers, who came out to see the nail I had in the side of my tire yesterday. It was the end of the day, but that didn’t matter he found me a replacement and got it on for me right away! Very grateful I didn’t have a low tire somewhere on the road with my two kids in the car! 2022-03-24Goes for napa bringing parts but initially I took my car in to the good guys shop, car acting up bad, they went through and started diagnosing, replaced plugs and wires but the problem still persisted, making sure it was sorted they found the issue and it was another part, the ignition control module they swapped it out with no extra charge except part price, very good service and they live up to their name, I was pacing around nervous and watched them help multiple people and I cant say enough they live up to their name.

2021-12-06Had a tire with a piece metal in it that made a hole too big to plug. Eric found a tire that matched and mounted and balanced it. Thanks to him we were back on the road quickly, really appreciate all their help, thanks again.

2021-12-17Spies is our favorite spot for all our tire needs. They have done house calls for our tractor while it was out on pasture. Their service is always professional, affordable and reliable even when they didnt have exactly what we needed in stock. Once, they didnt have the rims in stock that we needed for our truck and we needed to haul a Impala for a butcher date, so they sold us the rims off their service truck. I couldnt even try to count all the times they have helped our farm out!
