She greeted with me a smile and was very personable (Thanks, Seta). She helped explain everything that needed to be done and gave me a basic timeline. The dealership kept my car for about 20 days and gave me a rental in the meantime. Which I was extremely grateful for. Good job and thank you to Seta and Star Ford. I’m glad I brought my car to be serviced there.

Comment: Poor experience. I wish I could say that they were helpful but sadly were not. I called 4 days before my appointment to see if my trans clutch was covered, they said yes! Its covered but guessssss what. I show up and she said its NOT covered only the module. So I wouldve had to take the risk of spending hundreds maybe even thousands of dollars on a diagnosis and repairs. Also I wouldve been out a car for 3 days JUST for a diagnosis. She didnt even offer me a loaner car. 0/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. Go to the shop called Glendale lube, they recommend you a spot with FREE transmission diagnosis. Also the awkward silence after I said oh we will come back another time. She didnt even offer to create another appointment she just said the car is right there gesturing us to leave. 0/10 customer service. Do better

I purchased my vehicle from Puente Hills and in the first three months I had to go sick times back because there was no fixing of my door and my tailgate and then I went to sunrise for it and sunrise. Ford really dropped the ball couldn’t fix it. I bring it in. I set an appointment to bring it in and, they got me at seven and said OK we’ll see you tomorrow. I said no that’s not why I got an appointment. I called Ford and they referred me to Star Ford in Glendale immediately when I got there was approached by a very professional individual name of Nelson and took care of all my needs. Lesson learned, I suppose.Heres the story: This was the worst car service experience I have ever had, bar none. Nelson Soliz (a service advisor) was completely unhelpful, rude, and took advantage of me. If you absolutely MUST go to a dealer (I reocmmend against it, go to the Noho location)The first sign should have been that they asked to buy my car when I got on site. Of course I said no, but they were going to try and charge me so much that I would have to. That wasnt happening.After keeping my car for five days citing that he couldnt find the issue, Nelson tried to charge me $2300 for something that I got done for $400 at another mechanic (J&E Complete Auto is just around the corner from Ford and SO GOOD and transparent). When I told him this, he yelled GOOD FOR YOU and then he forced me to pay $400 for a vague diagnosis that was - in the end - incorrect.He also claimed that his mechanics completed a required tire rotation, charged me for it, then never actually updated Carfax, and I dont believe they created the word.NEVER GO HERE. You have been warned.

Comment: If I could give the service representatives a 0 out of 5 stars I would, but the 1 star truly goes out to the service tech I mention at the end. First, they said the issue with my car would take one day. Then when I inquire about what time Ill have the car back, they said a diagnosis at least takes a couple days. No problem, miscommunication or something. Then they tell me they don’t have the part and they have to order it. That’s fine, I can understand that. Then they say they can’t deliver my car back to me and I have to come get it. I’m annoyed at this point. I’m missing work because of this. Also note that I have asked them SIX separate times for some kind of email sent to me stating that they have my car in their possession so that I can have the time off I have now had to take excused from work. Then they call again and say they can overnight the part they need and they’ll have my car back to me at 4pm tomorrow, fixed. Great! So day two, still have no car, i text the rep and ask if the car will still be back to me at 4PM because I hadn’t heard anything all day and it was approaching 4PM. She said “the car should be back to you by the end of the day”. So then they called me at 3:39PM and tell me that the part arrived damaged so they still haven’t fixed it and that they’ll deliver my car back to me, but then they’ll have to come get it again and have it fixed when the next part come back. On the verge of tears at this point but happy to be getting my car back. Then I get another call! This tech (one I haven’t spoken to, his name was Nelson I believe) called about something else unrelated (gas) and I ask him if he could please please please send that aforementioned email so I don’t lose my job over this. He’s super confused because my car has been fixed! He says he’s looking at the service receipt right now and they did the repair on the switch and the window motor. At this point I’m wondering if I’m being messed with? We hang up but shortly I get another call from Nelson and they tell me that the part was indeed damaged and the car is not fixed. I can’t help but laugh because this is the only genuinely nice person I’ve spoken to and he put fuel in my car free of charge for me. If you thought this was over, it isn’t! They then sent the delivery driver to the wrong house, even though I told them 3 times, via text AND phone, the updated address. This department has seriously got to get it together. I am in complete disbelief of how poorly this has been handled. Thank you to Nelson for being really helpful and kind, but I genuinely would rather bite my own arm off than ever come back here again.

Thankfully my car only needed an oil change but while my car was being serviced i was given a courtesy ride to my home and even got a ride back to the service department to pick up my car. My 2019 ford flex was fully inspected and all the fluids were topped off like thw windshield cleaning fluid etc which was cool, i always inspect my car before leaving any repair or service shop.Everything was perfect, i chilled in the lobby area while my car got serviced, it take take about 1.5 hours to get my car back and that is very reasonable, i wasnt expecting a fast turnaround when there are other cars before mine that also require service from a technician.Overall my experience was wonderful, they do have wifi available for the guest but i couldnt find the wifi password anywhere on the wall at thw dealer to use vs my own internet connection on my smartphone.Other than that, i this is still a 5 star review across the board. My service advisor was Eddie, he was a blast to talk to and we had so much in common so it really was a great experience. I cant wait t9 come back again soon.

As women, we are told not to go alone to a car dealership but always be accompanied by a man who knows about cars. It is true in many ways but not at Star Ford Service. Before I booked my appointment online--which was very easy to do, I did connect with Manny Arguello and he welcomed me with open arms. When I arrived early to my appointment, Sarah Reinschmidt received me and she became my car advisor for the day. She was kind, courteous, and very professional. She showed me the comfortable seating area where water, coffee, and wifi are complimentary--the area was clean and quite where I was able to do some work on my phone. The appointment didnt take long as Sarah knew I had an urgent doctors appointment. While I was waiting, she texted me if I need anything during this time, I can reach her at her number. By the time my car finished, I was approached by Paul Salazar explaining his recommendations for my car which they were visible and true--change four tires in the future but fix the alignment urgently. I havent changed the tires since 2011 and while driving my car I did experience my steering wheel shivering under my hands. I did ask him about other recommendations another technician instructed me to do immediately last year but he emphasized that he did not see anything other than what he shared with me. The feeling of transparency, honesty, and care was very visible. Manny Arguello and Jose Canales followed up with me in their office to check if I needed anything else. We chit chatted a bit and I promised that I will return the next week without being anxious as I felt I am safe in their care. In between these experiences, I was greeted by Seta Alexanian, another car advisor. She kept me company and answered my questions till I received my paper work and my car keys. I thanked God for answering my prayers because everything went extremely well as anyone would expect to happen in an honest world. Thank you Manny Arguello, Sarah Reinschmidt, Paul Salazar, Jose Canales, and Seta Alexanian for being angels in my path and I look forward in returning to your dealership in few days. Blessings....

I took it in and was attended by Sam, a very nice and polite representative who let me know my car would be ready by closing. I later got a call that they were backed up and my car wouldn’t be ready until the next day, which was fine with me. The following morning, I received a call the the technician had stay late in order to complete the service and the car was ready, which was a wonderful surprise. The technician also completed a ride share inspection for me, free of cost, which was greatly appreciate. All in all, the service at Star was superb. They should be renamed 5 Star Ford.

Comment: Its very neat and clean and overall a good experience there. Seta does as much as she can to get my cars needs met every time. The only thing lacking is that if there are aftermarket parts involved, this dealership isnt approved for repairs. The basics and warranty work are done well, thank you for that much

Comment: The service department always takes longer than they say and you get assigned a service advisor who can be impossible to get in touch with. ive now had two different service advisors who don’t get back to me when they say they will. even calling the main number they either forward your call to the service advisor’s voicemail or just don’t pick up. i cant get anyone on the phone during business hours. very understaffed or they just dont care.

Manny Arguello, Service Manager, works very hard to make sure everyone is satisfied. He is kind and cares about his customers. When I arrive, Manny always makes sure that he appoints a service person to take care of me and my needs from start to finish.Manny, I appreciate everything youve done for me for all of these years. Comment: I have had multiple opportunities to have repairs and maintenance performed by Star Ford/Lincolns Service Department for over 20 years and they have consistently done great work.They have done work for both my vehicle (2 Navigators) and my employees vehicles (F250s F450 and Expedition) From simple maintenance like recharging the A/C unit to extensive repairs like replacing all of the fuel injectors. These folks do excellent work.I recommend them highly.

This was the place with the earliest diagnosis date plus they hooked me up with a rental! repairs took 35 days and Amy communicated with me weekly. I couldn’t have asked for better customer service

Comment: I really enjoyed my treatment and service here. Nichole Gutierrez went above and beyond during my whole experience here. My car was damaged and it needed to be take over a month to be repaired. She assisted me with kindness and understanding when it came to the hardships I have been going through. She assisted me in getting a rental so I can get to and from my work. When complications arose during my repair she was on top of it and informing me each step of the way. As well as going out of her way to assist me in obtaining a new battery when I was backed against the wall. Nichole Gutierrez deserves all the praise and acknowledgement when it comes to my experience. I will definitely be coming back and asking for her assistance again if I need to.

Seta was the employee who helped me and I am so glad that she was able to help. She made the visit easy and I didn’t feel confused at all. Comment: 12 days of sunshine treatment. Rude worker who doesnt keep you updated and just tells you they are starting on it tomorrow every time you contact. I even made an appointment and in 12 days they couldnt diagnose and reprogram the computer for a tsb. Just keep my truck be rude and act like you are the problem.. go somewhere else. I sure will. And Ill be contacting corporate too.
