Starbucks in other cities:
Peach white tea lemonade is delicious. I should have ordered hot chocolate. The a.c. is set to North Pole. I had to go outside in the 90° weather to warm up. For real tho, if Starbucks is so concerned about the environment they could just change the AC settings. 2 degrees could make a huge impact.
The worst Starbucks ever. Every morning I try to mobile order my coffee, one day it’s open one day it’s closed, as a business in whole. The next morning there is no mobile orders then the week later there back ok no problem BUT YOU CANT EVEN WALK IN. They keep the lobby door closed so only the drive thru and the line is in the street because each car is at the window for 10 minutes. They move so slow, NOT CONSISTENT. Worst Starbucks they put in Michigan.
Horrible customer service, extremely long lines. I have witness on many occasions that workers will hand customers their drinks without gloves, as their hand touches the top of the cup after dealing with money. This is very unsanitary. In addition, I have been to this location multiple times and if I come 10-15 minutes before close they won’t come to the mic to take the order. This establishment needs more training on customer service, health and safety protocols and time management.
Was there couple days and placed an order for green tea latte w almond milk. Very simple drink been made many times by verity of branches but Thisbe time they used coffee or anything flavored w coffee. Come on I watched the car in front me give her drink back to be corrected 2-3 times but I didn’t think the staff were bad I thought the lady was picky . Anyhow I trie calling the shop many times do u they even have a phone ? Idk. Not as great service like other locations. 👎🏾👎🏾
Another Starbucks that gets my custom order right more often than wrong. Its a little hard to get to - I always feel like I am taking my life into my hands turning the corner afraid someone is going to rear end me, but its never happened. The staff is not overly friendly but not rude either and are efficient which is my main concern.
Staff is more interested in socializing with each other than customers. I waited at drive thru window for 5 minutes looking at my drinks sitting on counter. Finally I honked my horn to get attention. Constant problem, even inside. Only go to that location when absolute closest (its near doctors office). People from corporate were in one day and I expressed my experiences and nothing changed.
The sign on the door says open however the doors were locked... not 1 employee acknowledged me or directed me to drive thru however they sat outside under the umbrella and watched me park my car and walk to the door. Only after several minutes of standing at the door did one of the employees say oh my bad.. you gotta go through drive thru ... well you shouldve said something when i walked up to the door... so based on this little issue... they have lost me as a customer
I love Starbucks but this one struggles. Both bathrooms out of TP, they got our drink wrong and we had to wait about 15 min to have them remade 🤷♀️Update: I went to this store AGAIN and I got an eggnog latte. Along with other drinks for my coworker. The drink was in a carrier so I did not notice that it was Only HALF full. My fault for giving this store another shot. 🤬
If no stars was an option, thats what Id choose; its one thing to receive a nasty drink but the fact that the cashier had a horrible attitude at 11:25 am and the drinks tasted like sewer water, thats a whole other thing, I spend too much money at this establishment to be disrespected; they dont EVER have to worry about me patronizing them again. Shame on you Starbucks
I ordered a grande salted caramel mocha with almond milk. It tasted like hot chocolate with almond milk. I think they forgot the syrups and the salt. My cousin ordered a matcha green tea latte and also didnt enjoy it. I decided to use the one available restroom before leaving, there was urine all over the seat and the trash was overflowing with drink cups. Youd think theyd check the bathroom more often, during a pandemic, and keep it clean. I dont think well return to this location.
Negative stars if I could. This location would better my opinion of Starbucks if it didn’t exist.Has never once gotten my order correct. Americano with one raw sugar pack on the side, not that complicated.Always get some gross sweetened syrup in drinks I ask for no sugar in or heavy cream when I don’t ask for cream.Disaster.
This Starbucks is consistently good, but I also want to give a special shout-out to the manager(s) that posted a board with a snippet of info about each baristas hobbies/lives outside of work.Service industry work is hard and skilled, and its real humans doing it.Its a special kind of manager that recognizes the staffs value as people, and invites other people to recognize it and appreciate it as well.Keep it up, whoever did this. More Starbucks locations should follow suit.
What an awesome experience to come to a Starbucks after rush hour or even during... the cashier who waited on me was such a great breathe of fresh air!! He made my coffee perfect!! They have really made great improvements with this company!! You should all check it out asap!!😉
Ordered for curbside pickup and ended up having to eventually go in to get it -- after 5 minutes of the app saying the order was ready. Sadly the light ice had already melted. So, avoid the curbside pickup and just go through the drive thru. (The drink wasnt all that tasty either, but that varies based on the barrista.)
Worst Starbucks EVER! Shannon is a TERRIBLE manager. Wait times are long and they have bad customer service. This location used to be really nice. They have new employees every week. Ive been a Starbucks customer for years. Im highly disappointed in this location. Too many issues to even list here...just go to a different location,
My rating is not because of my super delicious drink, but rather my overall experience. It started the moment I pulled into the drive-thru and saw the sign stating the drive drive-thru was closed. So I parked and went inside to order. I asked what was wrong and was told that the register didnt work. I placed my order and sat and waited. After about 8 minutes I realized only one person was making drinks, and she was working hard to push the drink orders out (There were 2 other workers in the store). I waited about 15 minutes and then committed to the Barista- They have you working by yourself? She was very polite and smiled responding Yes. l later found out it wasnt even her location. I was in no hurry so I was able to relax and observe. Perception is everything and when 13 people are running around working super hard and the others seem to be walking around looking for something to do, its not ok. But please note my long wait resulted in some very deliciousness (I guess good things do come to those who wait, lol)
This Starbucks is really comfortable. Its the baristas during the daytime that are a real issue. There is a very tall young man with a high pitched voice there. He is rude!!!! He talks extremely fast. Why is he there? I will say the tall young lady who works drive thru is a super star. I believe Starbucks has lost quality in all aspects of its business. Starbucks should wake up and smell the coffee and realize their brand is not what it used to be.
Anna is the manager of this store of BOMBASTICALLY WONDERFUL BARISTAS!!! This is my favorite Starbucks and and I love the community, camaraderie of the baristas, the service, the follow through on suggestions of improvement, the respect, and even the activities for customers (create a positive message sticker for a future customer). I had a small issue and when I walked in to handle it the next day (small issue for me), they knew exactly what to do and I felt SO important to the staff!!!!!!! Love this Starbucks. I pass two to get to this one. On purpose.
Im not sure what it is about this location. We definitely have a love hate relationship. 3 days out of the 5 I visit this location, there is usually an issue. I can mobile order 15mins before arriving (the app wait time is usually 5-8mins) When I arrive my drink is completed but I end up waiting an additional 10mins for my food(almost always). I can order a hot drink and they make it iced. On the one occasion I decided to order inside, my drink was placed in drive thru window and no one noticed until 10mins later. Once it was discovered the barista proceeded to hand me the watered drink as if nothing happened. The only reason Ive continued to visit this location is for convenience only. I simply just want them to do better and to take accountability for the mistakes they make.
I drink the same Starbucks drink every day and this location never seems to get it right. Instead of decaf I get fully leaded, instead of SF vanilla, I get regular syrup, and burned coffee taste. The drive thru wait is unacceptable. Will be taking my business elsewhere.
Just visited this place and the person preparing the drinks takes my order I tell him a Carmel Frap and he asks me anything else I tell him a shot of espresso as well. I come to the window he hands me the frap and I ask where the shot is and he says in the drink even tho I said it after the drink so he would give me a single shot. But hen also gives me attitude
I frequent this location at least twice a week. It’s the only location that’s easy to get to on my way to work on Northwestern Hwy. For starters, I always order extra whipped cream in my drink and they never add it. Secondly, they are always soooo slow early in the morning! I’m thinking because they are short handed. Thirdly, the baristas are rude! They don’t make eye contact and when you need to get their attention they ignore you. I really miss the baristas and the Northwestern and Inkster location. They knew me by name and I always felt welcomed. I’m limiting my Starbucks consumption. I’m done going to this location.
This is the worse Starbucks. Every mobile order I have ever done here has been incorrect and/or incomplete. The staff is not the usual friendly and knowledgeable baristas you meet at other locations which makes it worse that they cant get the 3 items I order correct. They seem annoyed and have no sense of urgency to clear the extremely slow moving drive thru line. After 7 tries at this location I give up. I will not be back.
Horrible!! Coffee, like all locations is terrible and this location had trash spilling out if both trash cans and no where to dump your cup except on the floor and staff were just chatting amongst themselves behind counter and place was essentially empty. Parking lot situation miserable. Never will return!!
I ordered via mobile app because I knew there would a huge line. 30 minutes after ordering I hadnt received my order. I asked for my order to the lady and she said okay. Another 5 minutes and I asked if I was going to receive my order and the lady just shook her head to which I asked if i should just get a refund... she said okay get a refund. I was made to wait another few minutes in which time they couldve made my order and after about 35 minutes wasted I left with the nasty woman at the counter who wouldnt even apologize. Disappointed and I guess dont go here in any sort of rush times because they will not make your drinks
I usually love coming to a Starbucks, but the cashier seemed like he would rather be doing something other than taking my order, didnt ask for a name, so the barista had no idea who to call out for when she made it. This guy definitely could use re-training in customer service
Still trying to understand how closing the location at Northwestern and Inkster for this mess was a good idea? 1st Visit: Early Saturday morning, they are out of two items. 2nd visit: Place a mobile order 5 minutes before arriving, have to wait another 15 before my order is completed, incorrectly. 3rd Visit 3/30/19: Walk in to place order, the cashier is LOUDLY mocking and yelling at an upset customer who was talking to another starbucks worker about his issue. She continued to berate the man for the entire store full of customers to hear including his young daughter. She was so busy doing that she couldnt take orders correctly....so my order was wrong again. Not saying the guys complaint was right because I didnt hear it, but there was ZERO professionalism in how the cashier handled it. 4th and Final:This morning, My coworker is heading to Starbucks. Against better judgment, I place another mobile order. I get a Venti cup filled with warm Almond Milk. Northwestern and Inkster had a Knowledge staff who were friendly always and hardly ever got your order wrong. Sometimes money grabs for a drive thru (that my coworkers also complain about) isnt worth it.
Despite waiting in the drive thru for 15 minutes and being given the wrong drink I cannot bash this location. The cashier recognized the delay and gave me the drink thinking I was the car that left the drive thru, additionally I was compensated for the delay without asking, the situation was inconvenient but handled professionally.
That location is my fav but I have a big problem with employee attitude. Last couple of times they won’t even say you welcome when you order they just close the window or walk away. The rudest employee I saw there was an African American who didn’t wear a name tag she had tattoos on her arm and had a small heart tatto on her wrist. I told her thank u 3 times and then at the end I screamed you welcome on her face and walked away. Disrespectful employee is a limiting factor in this location
Drink was perfect. Customer service excellent but i feel bad they had absolutely no employees on a busy Saturday morning. The drive thru girl who was taking orders also had to make them. The line was backed up and service slow. I must say she did the best she could with a smile but they really need help at this location. I give her ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐for her professionalism and attitude.
I’ve called cooperate several times the last few months regarding this location. They’re short staffed and the drive through line takes a good 45 minutes. Once your inline you are stuck. Even after several phone calls corporate still hasn’t fixed the issue. They’ve even close the location down for not having enough staff!!
This review is for Nygel. Nygel has made my mornings by being a model employee allowing me to request all her favourite items from the menu which are seriously delicious!!A big high five for a lady who wears a smile all the time, is so helpful and just a pleasure to be around. In this mad world of coffee drinkers, packed up lines, demands for the right product this Starbucks has it down thanks to again Nygel.Cheers.
This place has been horrible since the morning lady Mrs. Toni left. They are always closing one day a week. Drive thru takes atleast ten to 15 mins. As expensive as their coffee is there should never be any issues. I use to love this place too . Ugh Damn Starbucks get y’all stuff together
They only get the one star because of the brand name, other than that Ive completely wasted my time coming here today. Too lazy or not willing to accommodate my request for a Verona pour over, instead tried pushing off other products that I dont like. Starbucks has changed drastically and Im not pleased. I dont like the idea of limiting my options.
Rude at drive through talking with her hands very unprofessional I felt personally attacked because of my ethnicity the drive through employees was speaking using her hands had an additude will not return also our mocha frappuccinos were terrible we specifically asked for mocha they tasted like vanilla and we requested chocolate drizzle on top did not receive we will be returning to this location our visit was on March 5th at 3:45 weve always been loyal customers because we love Starbucks but are unsatisfied with this visit worst visit Ive ever experienced
We were in last Saturday 09/14 around 5:30pm. We were the ONLY people there other than a delivery truck and the employees. We waited 15 minutes. The very rude person at drive through took our money but forgot to give us our drinks. Then when we flagged someone down, they acted like we were a nuisance. The drinks (this is the best part), they forgot to put the coffee/espresso in it! Morons.
Worst Starbucks ever. Their ways slow, their old brew isn’t fresh and they don’t always open on time. It’s 6:21 am. Their supposed to be open and their not. Today is Friday October 11th 2019. I’m taking a picture of this. No one is in there no machines are on. There’s 6 cars behind me. Horrible.
Tinkerbell StarbucksI would have given this particular location a much better rating if they had a larger space for patrons to enjoy the whole experience of drinking their designer coffee and lattés. Starbucks is more than just a place to get coffee and snacks. This is where people emerse themselves in the culture of Starbucks. Hence, the wi-fi, seating, and sometimes fireplaces (depending on location). The environment should reflect a nice enough atmosphere that doesnt feel cramped or crowded
Slow, I come here everyday before work to get an iced coffee and it never tastes the same, inconsistent. Also came on my day off for an iced coffee, frap, and puppicino (just whipped cream in a cup) and they couldn’t accommodate that. Very disappointed, will be going to Tim Hortons
I hate leaving a poor review, but unfortunately this location has never lived up to the standards I expect out of Starbucks (especially for the price you pay). Ive been told negative things about this location by coworkers before, but its less than a half mile from my office so I decided to give them a chance, but they consistently disappoint.Im newer to Starbucks and like many of their products, but as such the in store menu is small so I look online for new drinks, each time I order here they have no idea what Im asking for, and each time after they figure it out give me a drink different from what Ive ordered. I dont mean to be rude, but incompetence of the staff is the issue here. This location needs help with some thoughtful training. Until thats addressed, I could not recommend going here.My boss frequently loves to buy Starbucks for the team and takes me with him to pick it up, however due to the issues at this location we instead drive further away to the Northwestern Hwy location where we regularly receive great service.
I try to not review a chain but this Starbucks is maybe 10 months old and was great but recently the service and products available are sub par. The warm food is cold in the middle and certain drinks are unavailable, like it’s the McDonald’s ice cream machine. Just disappointed on how far this place has fallen given the amazing service it once provided.
I hesitate to write this because Starbucks is my favorite chain and has been for well over a decade. The coffee is strong and consistently good, I drink it every day no matter where I find myself waking up. Love the brand. When I moved to the area about two years ago this store was the most convenient, its on the way to work and the gym. Perfect location! This is my go to Starbucks, THE store. There have been different ones as Ive moved across the country. Many within walking distance and others less than convenient. Its always been apart of my daily routine. However, Ive found myself using mobile order now because the employees just arent that friendly. Typically a little chit chat is welcomed and is even worth taking a little longer trip. People at this location dont seem to want to engage, they are nice but just not personable. So I use mobile order now.Even with mobile order they do find a way to either take way too long or put out the wrong item. This morning I was sitting in the cafe for 10 minutes waiting for the my lb. of coffee beans, nothing. So I went and asked what the deal was and was told they lost the sticker and didnt know what type of grind to do. I should have taken the initiative to ask them sooner? No effort to try and make an upset customer a happy customer. At this point Im use to it and now Im just a jaded customer. The list of stories like this is endless. The store is just ran very poorly, sad because I love Starbucks and feel let down most times I go to this store.
Staff is rude, twice now theyve given me my mobile order without telling me something I ordered was out of stock and thus not included. This is the closest Starbucks to my office but Id rather drive a few minutes extra to a location where the staff is friendly and they have items in stock.
I was rather disappointed when visiting this location. Not a whole lot but just enough to take my business elsewhere.I was here for an appointment early Saturday morning - and I mean early. I believe I was in the parking lot opposite when this Starbucks opened up that morning.I went to the meeting at the agreed to time and had to cross some light traffic in the drive-up window. The parking lot and landscaping and décor and outside architecture are all what I have come to expect from a Starbucks.I went to order at the counter. I noticed they were a little light on the scones - and everything else that you would expect in the pastry case. It didnt look like anyone was going to freshen it up either. As I waited I looked around - it wasnt the worst Starbucks I had been in but it had opened about 30 minutes prior and it was me and one other person in the place. I didnt leave the cup on the table or the scraps of paper all over the floor. A couple of the tables had crumbs on them.So I waited. Finally one of the servers decided to detach herself from the trio of servers who were deeply in conversation about something or other that had nothing to do with scones or coffee. I was sort of greeted and decided against the pastry because they didnt look appealing.I wanted a coffee but wasnt sure what to call what size - there is like demasiado, mediano, grossiano, teeniano - you know it is. The teeniano threw me off because I remember only three sizes but this one had four.I asked the server what the sizes were and was treated to a tired, bored demonstration of customer service. I just stood there transfixed for a just a moment and made my decision - Well, thanks. Ill just be going. Have a nice day., I said pleasantly and departed. This person probably could not remember but I did recall when I went one of the first of the Starbucks in Lynnwood, Washington. Still a struggling company even the employees didnt seem to understand why people only wanted to get coffee from them. I recall this place I am referring to was in an old Kodak film processing building. Every day a line of cars would go get their morning coffee and lunch coffee and evening coffee. I wasnt making much money at the time and would walk over from my government office job, through an evergreen shrouded park to the kiosk and get my coffee. The clerk was ALWAYS happy even on a misty, cold, windy day with a line of cars outside waiting for a hot drink that had to be prepared and fresh really quickly.Time goes by.
I went there, ordered online, and my drink was bad. it tasted like coffee when i specifically didn’t order coffee, and i’ve used this exact order at any other location and it tasted normal. i had to go back in - keep in mind i was in a rush - and get them to remake the drink. on top of that, the barista had the audacity to show us attitude when remaking our drink by washing out the same cup and slamming various coffee making machines, and giving us dirty looks. even after the remake it was still bad but i let it be because i had to go.
According to google your locations in the Southfield area states you open at 5am. I arrived at this location a few minutes before 5am waited at 5:05am in drive through then drove up to the window. There was two employee one with red hair and another with bun both looked at me. Never once said we’re not open. Please update hours to reflect accurately in google or provide feedback to employees.Thank you
This is the worst Starbucks I believe in the whole country they should be ashamed of themselves to have employees working there that are disrespectful that are rude do not know how to process an order shame on Starbucks for having somebody like them on staff ManagerShould hire qualified staff it’s nothing but a circus in there do not go into the Starbucks
My wife and I recently went through the drive through on January 1st. the drink was well made, but the service was really bad. We waited in line for 20 minutes with two cars in front of us and the inside of the restaurant was empty. When we got to the window we asked the Barista to load up our Starbucks card and we paid for our drinks. The Barista failed to even speak to us and didnt recharge our Starbucks card either. If you are rude and dont like your job, you should probably find a new one.
Horrible location. They are one of the few that serve the nitro cold brew yet upon ordering the NITRO cold brew in the drive threw I pulled up, already paid, then they handed me reg iced coffee. Made too much of a fuss to replace the two drinks even though it was on their error. Get it together people.
Wont come back to this location. Today I waited 18 min for a coffee. Only 5 cars in front of me when i pulled up at 415p. Did see the barista on the phone and counting tip money in front of me while everyone waited.2nd time this has happened. Stopped by 2 Saturdays ago with same amount of cars and waited 20 min. Also no nitro that day. Chronically understaffed and undermotivated.
I went in about 730a before work to get coffee. There were 2 people ahead of me they got their coffee. I than waited for 20 minutes waiting for a tall pumpkin spice latte. everyone that came behind me and paid after me the barista was greeting them by name and was telling them I got your order in one second and prepared their orders before preparing mine! I then approached the barista and asked her if she had forgotten about my order, her response was “no, they just have work they’re in a rush” super inappropriate, and disrespectful on so many levels.!! As if those customers time is more valuable than mine!! If there was a rating that was a zero I would put that!!!!

2022-03-24The staff are so amazing here! My coworkers & I mobile order all the time. Despite Starbucks always being busy, they are fast, and the drinks are always perfect. Most recently I spilled my coffee all over my car when I got cut off and they remade it for me! Just the best! 💚

2020-07-13Is this location permanently closed? I stopped by this morning around 6:45 am and it wasnt open. They are usually open at 6am. I see there is no phone number, hours, or even any reviews listed here. There was a car parked in front but lights were off in the store.

2022-05-23Large lobby, great team of workers, excellent craftsmanship. Other Starbucks in the area should take notes

2022-06-03Hours are very inconsistent for this particular location. You never really know when they are open or what days they are open. Sometimes a random note on the door or drive thru is what lets you know. This needs to get better.

2022-05-28Just when you think it cant get any worse. I recently ordered through the drive -thru, in Oak Park. I was unexpectedly met by a vampire/demon at the window. I will say this was not a pleasant surprise.

2022-01-08No idea if the coffee is any good or not, because it closes at 1pm. Thats fine. Help can be hard to find, but you should probably update your hours online, at the very least.

2019-07-23Update of Service: We order from this Starbucks ALL the time, but this time was not a good visit. My complaint.... Get your DANG EMPLOYEES OFF OF THEIR CELL PHONES AND HAVE THEM STOP TEXTING WHILE CUSTOMERS ARE STANDING THERE!Clean, great staff and fast service. Great job!

2019-04-08This is my second time visiting this Starbucks location. I got an iced green tea latte with soy, this location is one of the few favorites I have that dont fill your cup completely with ice when you order an iced drink! They work well under pressure, are very quick on their feet and also always exceed my expectations with the product they provide. I stand behind my rating, thank you!

2019-11-10It was interesting watching the bean roasting process. Very crowded the day we went and it took quite a while to get coffee drinks. It was definitely worth the visit. 3 levels so be ready for stairs.

2020-10-16They have my pineapple matcha tea in, it keeps me coming back. Its hit or miss, if they will have the pumpkin with cream cheese muffins in that my daughter likes though.
