Comment: The ONLY reason I ever looked to switch my insurance from Geico after 10 years was because I attended a Dave Ramsey financial class that highlighted that auto/home insurance premiums can go up--even if youre a loyal customer--and that every year you should shop your rates using a broker. Coincidentally, I received a mailer from Steele Insurance about that time, and decided to call. It was then I realized that I could double my existing coverage and still save MORE than 15% by leaving Geico (how about that). Since then, I have been a conscientious shopper for my auto./home policies and by and large, Steele has always done an excellent job of providing the best available rates and saving my family money while providing peace of mind--from increasing my auto/home value coverage every year to finding no-deductible glass coverage (which I needed with two broken windscreens!).

Comment: Too bad one star is as low as I can go....Following a quote, I signed up for their services.As I was paying through escrow, they swore I wouldnt get charged... but took payment info as a matter of policy.WELL... you guessed it! I was DOUBLE charged!!! Escrow and debited from my checking... THUS causing a series of checks to bounce.If only the refund was as quick as their debits! It took every bit of 2 weeks, but I guess I need to be thankful I got ANYTHING done from their back office.Finally, after three months of service, I was canceled for non-payment. Even though it was clearly paid in full--- TWICE, I allegedly had an arrearage and was canceled. Not one notice of delinquency, rate changes, OR even a call from the agent booking the sale!!!!Rationale given: I moved! DUH! Thats why I needed the insurance!!! Thats why you quoted the address!!!!! They reserved the right to increase my rates at anytime?!?!?! Regardless of the law, the contract, and unethical they behave....Mistakes happen. But to not have insurance, failure to refund, and even failure to communicate at any level.... inexcusable!!I finally had to get a full and total refund from Nationwide, their parent company.STAY-A-WAY!!!!!! Over sold and under performance, I hate to need to file a claim!

Comment: Look no further, Tom with Steele insurance is the real deal. I think most people are apprehensive when an insurance agent says they are going to save you time and money, But Tom delivered. My special commercial policy from another company was coming to an end. So I decided to shop around and give Tom a call. I figured Id have him get a quote for me just to be sure the company I was with was giving me a good deal. Turns out he was actually able to save my a couple hundred dollars. He also exceeded my expectations by getting me far better coverage.
