Stoepel Park in Detroit
Nice park. It has plenty of space to allow a family to gather for a small cookout. The park features 3 baseball fields, a play area and basketball court where people can actively participate. In addition, the park has a special water system infrastructure that aids in removing excessive water from the surrounding streets

Nice basketball courts and playscapes. Grass is maintained, and you can catch some nice youth baseball games. They have a shelter where you can barbeque and eat. Kids love it, and so do I!!!!
What a great looking Park. I wish we had more time to fully enjoy the entire Park. It looks awesome. We live on the East side and arent on the West side often enough.
This park is a beautiful hidden gem in the City of Detroit! Stoepel Park has been beloved by Detroit residents since its inception but whats great about it now, is that a whole new generation can learn to love it, too, as the park has been practically updated with a lot of new additions that are awesome! We, Detroiters, rarely, ever wander far from home because we know what we need to enjoy everyday life is right here in Detroit!
Ive been visiting this park 30 plus years, and its just getting betterRestrooms, bb court, tennis court ,water sprinkler for kids on hot days, handicapped parking and more
Its a community park and big enough to hold numerous events at one time. Found existing tables and grill located through out. There were swings and a nice newer baseball area for the kids and young at heart. Although there are many pluses, the downside is not enough parking in the area. However, I would recommend Stoepel Park to all.

I enjoyed the park, very clean plenty of tables and the kids were very happy with the children play park.
Went for the tennis courts. It was nice...they have acrylic hard surface courts. Newer but needs a bit of occassional upkeep such as a leaf blower to remove debris from the court. Other than that, it was good.

Park was clean, just wish it had bathrooms.Everyone had a great time also it need more trashcans.
Nice amenities. Unfortunately the patrons leave trash and food.thrown around.
I was a Umpire there for the Rosedale Park league. They have 4 nice Diamonds there and its a great place for the kids to play ball
As a Detroit Native, I enjoy being able to spend time in the community. It was clean and kept. There were a few private family outings being held and everyone seemed to be having a great time! Lets go Detroit!

I work in my car. I sometimes stop here to take a break. Also come here to walk when the weather allows. I have never had a problem.
Well when I went there on the 1st of September 2018 between 4 and 10 p. M. I actually got there early around 2: 30 or 3 and then theres or the people who are putting on the organization were horribly disorganized so I began to help them once I began to help them after about an hour if you can to rain heavily and it got rained out and I think it rain for an hour so I left after 5 p. M.
The park is nice is just need to be cleaned up there was so much garbage when people have parties they do not clean up but I like the park
Detroit if we dont clean up are own parks and make them safe we will have nothing.

I remembered that I always used to go to this park when I was 6 years old now I am 17 and I still love this park but then when I saw the outside gym equipment there I was so confused but still I love this park.
Nice and clean park.There are Many Tennis courts, basketball, soccer/football ground, baseball courts.
Its just a really nice 👌 ☺ park. We do HUSTLE lessons there on Mondays at 6pm. Weather permitting.

The city has stepped up and ready made stoepel a nice park added a nice parking lot ( badly needed) and a lot of amenities including a nice walking path and a pond
It was okay. But it had a lot of trashand the people there are mean.
Real improvements at this Location,put the visitors need to be more responsible and put the trash,paper etc..in the trash cans thats provided for the trash

This park host the humane society for shots the people keep the line going and friendly vets there to give shots and ask questions its very helpful for the community thanks humane society great staff and volunteers too
I loved being there really enjoyed myself with the family and friends.
It was clean and we had a great time. We left the park clean and back like we found it. Thanks Detroit for the use of Stoepel Park.
Nice location... Lots to do from playground to grills & benches to watching kids little league teams play baseball and football... Good bike ride...
My son was fighting up here, hes only 6. Shouldnt have to fight to play at the park

Quiet multiple baseball fields a basketball court. Very clean and several tennis courts.. I would bring my family here.

2022-03-17Two playgrounds, a bunch of ball fields, soccer field, basketball court, tennis courts and so much more! This is a fun park for many different ages. Theres trails to walk or ride. There are plenty of trees to find shade and climbing. Theres exercise equipment too.

2021-07-26It used to be a nice park. Could still be. Kinda ghetto now..trash around..the perimeter/streets were flooded and the lawn was muddy and not manicured. But it was peaceful . Needs to be kept up . So sad . The bugs didnt overtake the outdoors so it didnt have an odor. There werent pets running around. The swings are extra high...I am 5 7 and couldnt easily get on , I tried it.... that being said , I had to lift the children up onto the swings. They werent tiny babies so why they are so extremely high off the ground..who knows..
