They have great service, its affordable, well lit at night, clean and easy to use. I also rented a U-haul truck here. Tony delivered excellent customer service and rates, you wont be disappointed. Calling around for storage unit and then calling for a moving truck or Uhaul and doing all the work.... very stressful.I was hit with a need to be out of the house within 4 days notice. I was looking for a storage place that had big size units. I happened to walkin in to H&M storage. Was greated by a gentleman named Tony. And let me tell ya! He asked me, How can I help you today? And I threw everything I had on him. All the things stressing me out. I told him I needed a huge storage unit, and I needed a moving truck if u could recommend me to a place so I could get things moving in a short amount of time! He said theres no need to go anywhere else! I got you! We have everything here for you. I looked at him in shock! It was like music to my ears! He gave me the best deal for the storage unit 1st month for a $1, and he got me the uhaul truck for a low low price, had me set up within 30 minutes. I had the keys to the unit and keys to the uhaul! I was out and back to my house to start moving within an hour! Not only was Tony so dang helpful. He made sure to make me relax and not stress about anything. He took all that away and got me going. Super friendly and very professional. He also took care of the customers who were walking in and walking out that were there before me. I was blessed to walk through those doors that day because he made my life so much easier. Tony showed me the unit i was getting. Super clean and the floors looked like they were freshly painted. Looked like new units but its just because they actually clean each and every unit. Truth be told, he went past and beyond with all the helpfulness he gave us! So, for that, we are very grateful to have come to H&M storage. They definitely know how to take care of their customers

I left a message about a misunderstanding on hours of operation....Tony got back to me so I understood. I needed to change my rent payment procedure and Tony took care of me in about 2 minutes. I met some folks from where I live on an RV trip and they said they could not find good RV storage.... a phone call to Tony had their space waiting for them when they arrived home. Comment: With a heavy heart, I proclaim that I moved out of H&M Self storage last month. Its a heavy heart because I genuinely enjoyed storing my valuables at their facility. I must say that my units were never broken into and my items were never stolen during the 6 years that I stored my valuables onsite. Tony and his team have transformed this facility into the premier storage in the Sun City, Menifee, & Perris areas. They have installed cameras and resurfaced the concrete in almost every unit. They have removed potential opportunities for thieves to enter the facility and cause property damage. On top of that their level of customer service is unmatched. Every time I came to my unit they greeted me by name. They work with you if you have any issues regarding billing. Offer services that go above and beyond just a storage manager and their team. If you need a place to store your valuables for 30 days or for years as I did, you wont find a better location and a better team than the people at H&M self-storage.

I went in person to get a U-Haul and they did not have any trucks in stock and worker lied saying all surrounding places do not have trucks available either and said all customers are being sent here due to no trucks at the other locations. I went to the specific place in menifee where the worker said they don’t have any trucks. I rented a U-haul from the menifee location right after leaving this place, it took me minutes to get keys. If you do not have trucks, do not try to hoard customers until you have trucks in stock. Im glad I didn’t listen to the worker. Don’t trust this place. And no this is not a Uhaul problem. The front desk associate of this place gave me a H&M self storage card with their number to call him back later to see if they have any trucks. It’s their customer service that’s a problem. The problem that I have is not that they were out of trucks, but that the worker at this establishment lied.

After submitting the reservation I was contacted immediately by Pauline about heading down to view the storage unit. When we got there we realized the size we requested was too small but Pauline was already prepared to show us a bigger size just in case. She was very professional, polite, and her service was overall amazing. We also met the manager named Tony today who was also very kind. H&M worked with us to secure a unit within a total of an hour and a half, starting from my online reservation. They are kind people and I am excited to be renting a unit from them.

Comment: I rent a lot of u-hauls. Tried this place twice this week. First experience was an absolute disaster. People had no clue how to do a one way rental. This morning was the second time this week. Had a reservation and showed up to pick it up. Truck is sitting in the lot however they said it is reserved by somebody else also. They double booked the truck. Wouldn’t honor our reservation. Don’t trust your reservation here! If you have plans, go to another location so this place doesn’t ruin your day. I am now having to drive 30 miles the opposite direction to get a truck. Apparently the other person’s reservation is more important.Don’t rent a storage here! The workers are shady!!!! Your stuff will probably disappear.

We got pretty good rates. He also would call and give courtesy reminders if we were past our date. He always seemed like he knew his renters. At least us he did. Weve came to him and rented trailers from him on numerous occasions- as I am doing now. The equipment is always in good condition. Tony and his assistants were always very helpful. Even when I got my new truck. He even knew the saleswoman!!!!I definitely recommend seeing Tony and the girls at H&M. I consider Tony a friend.

Comment: On Friday September 4th I visited H&M Storage to rent a U-haul moving truck. I would not recommend this place to anyone. The staff is unprofessional and lacks good guest service. While trying to rent the vehicle, I was asked about purchasing roadside assistance for the vehicle. I asked if the roadside assistance was insurance for the vehicle in which I was told no by Tony the employee. He said that this was not insurance but they offered a different protection plan at a higher cost. I asked about what that plan would cover. Tony who I later found out was the location manager lacked the details of the protection plan. While telling me that he did not know what the plan covered, he took off his face covering putting me at risk for COVID-19. He instructed me to call Gary Smith the Area Field Manager. When I spoke with Gary, he said that Tony should have all of the information. I had to play the middle man between Gary and Tony. Gary did not know the information either and got frustrated. He began talking over me and yelling. This was highly unprofessional. When Gary could not explain to me what the protection plan covered, he then instructed Tony to cancel my rental contract and told me “This conversation is over!” I was appalled by this. I have never been to an establishment where the managers did not know what they were selling. This place should be stayed away from at all cost. The staff is extremely unprofessional. You will be disappointed.

My RV was previously burglarized and most recently my trailer and sand car were stolen off your H & M property in Sun Valley CA, I offered my security advise to the office. 1. YOU NEED TO HAVE A CAMERA ON THE BACK GATE where there IS NONE (who set this system up?). 2 most of your cameras are focused TOO LOW not picking up enough real-estate and road ways. 3. ONLY 8 cameras? You NEED more cameras and a couple panoramic cameras to cover the whole lot, if you choose to stay with ONLY 8 then you need to move a few of them to focus on the HIGH VALUED TARGETS (HVTs), the RVs, Trailers, Boats, Cars, the HVTs ON THE LOT vise wasting cameras on garage doors. 4. 15 DAY LOOP? even my system is a 90 DAY LOOP, I installed a system for a Corporation that was a 6 MONTH LOOP up to the CLOUD which is what you should have, then any employee from SD to TX can check on video any time even from your smart phone. For this advice I asked for free rent for a while or a cut on my rent or a freeze on my rent vs. a yearly increase and WOW I received another rate increase for $230 a year. WHO THE HECK ARE YOU GUYS, I guess I will just have to go on social media (face book, twitter, instegram, snapchat), VA, VFW and Moose lodge monthly news letters to let people know how Tony and Monique run your facilities.

Best deal in town in my opinion. Mike has been very helpful with our need to size up on the storage unit. I feel safe when we need to come here after dark. Overall no complaints.

Comment: The guy who works at this place is the worse worker ever his not professional nor helpful i came find out his the owner son wow! Figures why they treat their customers like this funny how came drop off u haul seen someone inside but thet ignored me since they were close for lunch cant even say anything but run upstairs!!!! To anyone that reads this review do not go to this storage very stupid these owner son to be lazy and rude!!!!!

Comment: My husband and I have used H&M Self Storage for 2 1/2 yrs, and have been very pleased with the cleanliness of the inside and outside of the business. We down sizedfrom a super lg. unit, to a smaller size unit and even with several people there, it waseasy to drive thru the yard back and forth to the 2 units, making our change an easy job. I was Most impressed when we cleaned out our lg. unit - there were NO bugs to be seen, not a one dead or alive, we were very impressed to say the least, and we had not once put any moth balls in the unit for spiders or bugs,another plus and smile ! The staff has always been smiley and helpful, and we have seen them ride around on their cart and checking things up and down the aisles and in the yard, another plus and smile :-) We tell friends and strangers if they ever need a place for storage, we recommend H&M Self Storage, and of course I tell them how pleased we are, and have been since the first day we moved in.And another big plus - we have never had any water leaks or damage to any of our treasures we had stored. Each and every time we have been to our storage unit,any other tenants there were very polite and kept openings in the aisles to keep theflow of vehicles moving and not creating a traffic jam in the yard. Comment: MIke & team run a great operation here.We park our RV there now for a year with not a single issue. The property is clean and without rodents-the primary choice why I park our RV here. Rodents will get into the engine compartment and other places and eat the electrical harness wiring. This can cost hundreds of dollars to repair. Plus, I dont want little visitors on the interior either.Clean and quick to respond to questions at the front desk.Easy access in and easy access out.

Comment: I have had to use H and M self storage twice in the last year and both times the service I have received each time amazingly surprises me not only did they remember me the second time I came in they treated me like I was a returning guest. Mike the manager is very accommodating and takes the time to really make sure you have the size you need. My wife and I cannot imagine doing business with anyone else after our experience here. The young assistant offered us cold bottled water on a blistering hot afternoon we were very appreciative as ours had just run out. we highly recommend H&M self storage to anyone needing storage

Comment: I have never rented before and I had to move with a job relocation and needed storage quickly H&M was so thorough in their explanation and made it so easy I was even able to rent a truck and store the rest of the things I needed for my move. Mike the manager was awesome the place is clean and the price was right !!

Comment: I just moved in here. The grounds are clean, the isles are wide, I dont have to worry about not being able to get around another car to get to my unit. The extended hours are a huge plus for access. I like that my unit is elevated compared to the isle. Meaning in case of rain, none will seep under the door. The asphalt was poured with drainage in mind. The staff is professional and courteous. I was able to discard old paperwork in their dumpster where at another place in town told me the dumpster was for staff only. The only thing that was tight is the gated entrance. My movers had to maneuver to get out.

Comment: They are good on follow ups. easy to deal with and understands what issues you may have. for instances, I missed a payment because my credit card had a fraud hold on it from usage in another state that I never have been in. I explained this to Chris and he waived my late fee. Very cool if you ask me because he understood the issue at hand and made sure that I wasnt bothered because of Somali pirates or Nigerian princes that need my help getting their lottery winnings

Comment: I have been storing my trailer here for the past year, the lot is clean, the spots are easy to back in to. I would recommend H&M to any of my friends.
