I was extremely pleased with the personal service and care I received from savannah. Wow!, what a pleasant and professional girl. She set me up with a unit to rent AS SOON AS ONE BECAME AVAILABLE. And took the time to explain all the intraday details of getting in and out of the facility. I would recommend this place highly. It was also very clean and well kept!

In December of 2021 I was notified of the new ownership and told I needed insurance on my unit or I would be charged extra for insurance. I contacted my insurance company and they sent me a proof of insurance. I then called Storage Sense and asked if they had a copy of my insurance already because the proof of insurance looked familiar, I was told they did have a copy on file so I was fine. Last month I was charged for insurance by Storage Sense and when I questioned why they said they dont show I have insurance. I brought in the proof of insurance dated December 2021 and was told I wouldnt be charged for insurance next month but they wouldnt reimburse me for the insurance I was already charged for. The manager was supposed to call me last Monday, I waited the entire week and have not received a call. I wonder how many other customers this has happened to. I wish Johns Storage still owned the business, never had a problem with them and the staff did what they said they would do.

I used the online website to reserve a storage space which was convenient. When I went to the storage facility, Jasmine was very helpful and very kind. She found me a 1st floor storage space so i did not have to lift my couch excessively high to store it. I told Jasmine I was a Veteran of the U.S. ARMY and she advised me I was eligible for a 10% Veterans discount which she gave me on the storage space which was very nice.

Used to love this place! they had the nicest staff ever. however recently they were bought out. their prices were already a little higher because it was a smaller business but they still increased the prices after getting bought out and theyre now forcing us to get renters insurance. they pretty much exclusively contact you via mail instead of a phone call with voicemail. disappointing. I didnt mind paying more than usual to go here before the buyout. now ill be looking for a new place to store my things.

The woman that helped me, in the Livonia office, was very nice and helpful. And the overall cost was cheaper than I thought it would be so I was very happy.

Just went to get propane filled (been filling for years here)and you used to be able to just pull up and someone would come out. Stopped in today and nobody came out(which isnt an issue at all)but when my husband went in for help there was only one person there and she was on the phone. My husband waited to be acknowledged but never was. The least you could do is ask the person you are speaking to to please hold and tell my husband you will be right with him or ask him what he needs. Something, anything ... dont ignore your customers, thats how you lose them.

New ownership is horrible, been coming to this location for years always been a pleasure. Went in today, they couldn’t figure out the attachments, only could fill one tank then proceeded to tell me 3 of my cards got declined I would have to leave the tank with them and go get cash. Had to drive down to an atm with the same card I have them to pull money it which had no problem doing except for the withdrawal fee so what cost me $29 and 5 minutes of my time under old ownership cost me $42 and 25 minutes with new ownership. New owners couldn’t provide service or run a credit card, will be making my weekly propane runs somewhere else.

This is hands down the worst company to deal with I have several store units for work I have had this one for over 7 years it was formally Johns storage which was great they took over a couple months ago first thing they did was raise cost by 30 percent they also have online billing which Ive filled out 3 times and called and had set up twice and it still wont let me sign in so I did the phone automated payment it says the payment didnt go thru and to enter info again well guess what everytime you enter info it does go thru so I stopped by to talk to manager cuz to my suprise they were actually there her response oh oh well atleast your paid ahead so after 7 years Im moving and I would not recommend anyone to use them
