Comment: I have used StoreBox in Pasadena twice. First, when I moved back to Pasadena about 12 yrs ago and then recently when I moved my office to my home and needed to store some things temporarily. Both times StoreBox personnel have been very helpful, friendly and provided many options for my moves. StoreBox was familiar with the movers I used (Pinks) and the location is very, VERY clean and secure. In fact the first time I used StoreBox I had an exterior unit and I was not aware the elevators were locked down and require a security code, but now I know that. I definitely will use them again, if needed.

Comment: My mother just drove in from Minnesota two days ago and we needed some extra storage space. We came across this facility on google and decided to try it out. We came around 4, not knowing exactly what size we needed. We knew we didn’t need a lot of space as we only have a few boxes and bags. Our storage Rep who assisted us in this process name was Bailey. He did phenomenal job helping us pick a unit. He walked us around the facility and showed us a couple options and was also very knowledgeable. Comment: I have had a truly amazing experience with Storbox Self Storage. Moving is always stressful and I was scrambling to find an affordable storage unit in the Pasadena area. I called Storbox and spoke to Scott, who was incredibly kind and gave me all the information I needed. Then when I decided which size was right for me I called back the next day and booked a unit with Bailey, who gave me clear intuitive instructions and mailed me all the necessary paperwork for finalizing the lease. I usually prefer to book things like this online but it was so easy over the phone!! Moving in was a breeze. The facilities are clean and well-maintained. Its very simple and easy process, very secured place and also when you move stuff in the first time? they let you use their ban for like 4hours for free (10miles Gass free and after 10miles its just only 1.50). after the time line, you need to pay little amount but its okay, there is uhaul close to the storage so you can have back up plan!

Comment: We had been debating the need for a storage unit for some time but finally made the decision to go for it. On the day we decided to do it, I called STORBOX and spoke with Lien. She gave me very helpful information about the available spaces and let me know that wed also be able to use their van to conveniently move our items to the unit. We quickly made our way there and met with Lien, she showed us several options before we decided on the one we got. She was extremely courteous and did a great job in providing us the details we needed to get started. We had called several places prior to STORBOX, but it was ultimately the convenience, cleanliness, security, and comfort of working with Lien that made us choose STORBOX.

Comment: Overall a well-run, clean facility! Parking is ample and its easy to get in and out of the facility quickly. Even now when I just have to throw something in my unit or take something out, its always fast and easy. There are many good-sized dollies by the elevator that you can use to move your belongings up and down the elevator. Last but not least, the staff is very friendly. Bailey was very warm and helped get me my unit. I would definitely recommend Storbox to a friend!

They went out of their way to accommodate us with our storage need for our RV and helped with billing options. Facility is kept very clean and neat. Security cameras scan the outside of the facility and there is convenient mobile access to enter your storage area. Pricing was good too. Definitely recommend this place.

I was in a pickle and in the middle of a transcontinental move; so I called Storbox and Lyn over the phone (just before closing) helped with dates and even found me the perfect size storage space and saved me $100s over the next few months. Comment: After reading reviews for STORBOX online, I stopped by to tour the facility. The staff, specifically Sarah, was very helpful explaining the options and showed me the units available. The 10x10 units I viewed (and ultimately rented one) are in a new building, all is very clean with no visible dust or pests (moths, etc.) and it is secure with cameras, gates and passcode entry. There is plenty of parking, and they have a van I will use to move my things into the storage unit, and Ill only pay for mileage. The showroom is great too, providing a visual of the spaces available and all types of packing materials at fair market prices. I have never rented a storage unit before, so this was a new experience for me, but an excellent one so far. The term of the lease is month-to-month and at a great value with insurance (covers up to $2500) and 2 storage racks ($9/month each) to help keep the space organized. Thank you, Sarah and team for making this a great experience. so far!

Comment: I was looking for a storage space that didn’t cost an arm and a leg and still had ampleSecurity and cleanliness and this place has it all.Sarah is absolutely amazing in going over different options that may fit your needs and or budget and even when presenting other options there’s never the pressure of the upsell,’she presents your options and leaves it up to the customer rather than making you feel pressured to add a bunch of things you most likely don’t need. They are very secure with cameras everywhere and a secured access code for each tenant. Even though I live in hollywood, this place is well worth the commute.

Comment: I’ve tried out quite a few storage facilities over the years and STORBOX is definitely among the best. For one thing, there is always someone at the desk during its hours of operation. Service is good and the staff are very friendly. When I first called, Sarah patiently and professionally answered all my questions. You don’t have to wait around for help or call down empty corridors, hoping someone will turn up. Carts were readily available, and when I needed a stepladder, I was given one to borrow immediately.The facility and units are always at a comfortable temperature . . . cool but not cold, which is great when you’re working in one and very important if you plan on keeping anything temperature-sensitive in the unit. The premises are immaculately clean and well organized. And the free use of their van for move-in was extremely helpful and much less hassle than renting one. Additionally, the property seems to be very secure and safe—make sure to memorize your access code because you’ll need it to open the gate and use the elevator.The only complaint I have is that it was pretty crowded on the Saturday I moved everything in, and since there’s only one elevator in the building, there was some traffic waiting for it to arrive. I’ve been back a few times since and it was much less crowded, so my guess is that this was just because it was a Saturday night and everyone was rushing to finish up before the place closed for the evening.Moving is never a fun experience, but STORBOX made it as painless as possible. They are a little pricier than other places, but in this case, you get what you pay for (especially with the use of their van). I will certainly use their services again the next time I need a storage space in the area.

Comment: I was looking for a unit near where Im temporarily staying in Pasadena (I just moved here from NY) and I called to get more info and spoke with Lynn. Not only was she extremely nice and courteous but she was able to recognize that I didnt need a 5x5 unit and offered me the smallest at 5x4. She also held it for me since we were driving such a long way and made the paperwork and such a breeze when I came in. Very thorough in explaining everything, reiteraring the hours and fees and such. I had NO questions when we were done.By the time we finished with the paperwork, my friend finished loading everything in the unit and we were on our way. Superb service, clean place, friendly staff and they have brownies! Lol

Comment: I would have given a five star rating but when I came to reserve a space, the first time, and indicated that I was moving a 2 bedroom home with large appliances, formal dining room and china cabinet I was offered a size so small that once my furniture was inside the space the storage door would not open. I relied on their expertise to ensure I had room for all of my belongings. I decided to go back again anyway. I still needed additional storage. Lien was attentive and professional. She was knowledgeable about all products and confident that my issue could be resolved, I believed her and the issue was resolved. Awesome customer service!

Storbox provide the most compelling rate and the size 5*5 unit is perfect for my extra boxes. Also, the unit is clean and tidy. I love the secure entry and the dollies and carts available to cart your stuff to your space. Another staff member patiently helped me when I needed to choose a lock because I forgot to bring one. Comment: I recently needed a storage unit for the entire contents of my condo. After searching on Yelp and Google - and reading the positive reviews here, I decided to give Storbox a call. During the initial phone call, the Storbox team was very helpful in helping me identify my needs - I was trying to decide between a 10x11 or 10x16 unit and the Storbox team told me based on my needs a 10x11 should be enough, but would be tight. And they were right! The 10x11 was just enough, money saved! The facility is as advertised, it is clean, climate controlled, and security controls appear to be in place. The sign-up / rental process to get my unit was easy and efficient, the team showed me the unit, we completed the paperwork - approximately a 20 minute process. Based on my experience so far, I would recommend Storbox, they appear to be a higher end facility for your valuables. So far so good!

Comment: My family has used Storbox multiple times because its a clean, well maintained facility and your belongings are safely protected with surveillance. The storage units are fully enclosed by walls so nobody can see inside. The staff is great, Sarah helped us recently and she had superb customer service.Only downside is you do not have 24 hour access to your unit. That makes it difficult on moving day when it takes a lot of time to load everything into a van, drive to StorBox, maybe make multiple trips, and then figure out how to fit everything inside the unit before the facility closes.

They will also lend you a truck when you move in, although I think you have to pay for it if youre moving out.What I dont like is that they continue to increase the prices without providing additional service. Im paying about $100 more than I was two years ago, and access is only available during business hours that are no longer than they were then. Other facilities nearby have 24/7 access. I absolutely love how it’s climate controlled which means I don’t have to worry about my paints drying up (artist life) in a hot and stuffy storage box. There’s security cameras everywhere which helps in case anything happens to your stuff.The staff here are super friendly, especially the one that helped us, Sarah. Storbox Self Storage was really impressive and I knew that I did not have to look further! There was no warehouse/ garage feeling at all. It felt more like outsourced individual cabinets. There were three people in the reception office when I visited there. Lien helped my reservation and was VERY friendly and efficient from start to finish. Everything worked for me: The facility is super clean, accessible hours were restricted for safety/ control purpose; the ENTIRE building is air-conditioned (rather than only selected units); and the pricing is all transparent and reasonable.One thing that I unexpectedly signed up for is their shelving units. Upon their recommendation, I ordered a small-size, metal frame shelving unit to store boxes and small stuffs ($7.99/ month). First I was hesitant as I was afraid of not having enough room for other furnitures in my 8x10 storage unit. But I got it at the end as the staff seems to be pretty confident about this service. I really hope it is worth the price and I will be able to comment on this component once I used the storage.If you are in the area, I would definitely recommend this place .

Comment: I have to say the STORBOX has not let me down yet. The hours can be a pain sometime but with proper planning and the early morning hours just about anyone can make it work. I have to say I alway feel secure and safe when there no matter what time of the day. As a single woman I go at odd times and it nice to know that they not only have a security system but you have to use a code to get in. The only down fall is the gate on Craig has never closed during the day like the other and that is the side I use. But overall great service and has always been willing to work with me as long as you communicate what is going on and aren’t a jerk😉. I worked with Sarah for most of my needs but the staff is great!!

She explained everything and made the entire process easy and seamless. I called on a Thursday and needed the storage unit on Friday. Most places did not accommodate that but Storbox had no problems working with my short deadline. Although she asked us for plans that might seem slightly intrusive at first, it worked out well in the end, as she was able to point out to us a discount that was better than the one on their website and much better than the options at Public Storage.The lease signing process was quick and easy, as was the process to rent their van to transport the boxes. We very much appreciated being able to borrow Storboxs van (at no additional charge within 10 miles), as our hatchback was too small to transport all the boxes.Between signing the lease, borrowing the van, moving the boxes, and returning the borrowed equipment, we were done in less than 3 hours. The facility (our section, at least) is brand new and super clean, with very good security measures. Parking and elevator are easily accessed, and Athena, in the office, was extremely helpful. With the online and managers specials, we were able to get a super-reduced price for the first 3 months, then a semi-reduced price for the next 3 months, and wont be charged the full rate for our unit until the 7th month. I made a reservation for a unit online (which gave me a special price) and when I visited the store Athena showed me a couple different sized units so I could choose the one that worked the best for what I needed. I ended up going with a larger unit than I had reserved and they still honored the web promotional price.For me, the free half-day use of the moving truck was a game-changer since Im a grad student on a tight budget. It really made the whole experience a great value.The only thing I would prefer be changed is later access hours in the evening (currently only until 7p), but I understand why they are as such. Comment: My experience renting a unit at this facility set the bar in terms of service and professionalism. Just as important, everything about this facility has been WELL thought out! As soon as I entered the office to fill out paperwork, I saw that the storage unit sizes were on display which is great since I have difficulty quantifying size and space. I chose a 5x10 ft space and asked for shelving to be placed in. As soon as I requested it, an employee was paged to get it started and my unit was ready to go by the time I was done with paperwork.Getting the uhaul into the lot and my belongings into the unit was a breeze. I am storing a lot of personal belongings and I wanted to make sure I had a site that was secure. I was able to visit the storage facility before I made my decision, which helped a lot. There is a security gate at the front and no one can access the site after hours. The units are super clean and it is air-conditioned inside. The air-conditioning is a plus after a whole day of moving and having to carry furniture and boxes in and out of a truck.The company also has a truck that they can rent out for a move, which I used. This was another plus!The staff is very helpful and friendly. I mostly interacted with Lieu and she was able to answer all my questions and concerns. And as a bonus they had great brownies at the front desk, which I enjoyed after a tough moving day.I would definitely recommend this site. Comment: Excellent storage unit and wonderful customer service. I just moved my stuff into one of their storage units and it was super easy. The units are really clean and its very secure; while still being easy in and out access for unit holders. I used their moving truck to move all of my stuff in and it was a really easy and pretty cheap process! The staff have all been very nice and helpful with all my questions, especially Atthena. She has been wonderful through the whole process. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Comment: What a seamless and pleasurable experience from viewing the unit, finishing the paperwork and actually putting my junk in it, all done within an hour! Lien was super helpful and really went the extra effort to get me the perfect unit for my needs. The facility is top notch; very safe and secure and keeps very normal and respectable hours (no need to access my unit at 2am as nothing good happens at 2am at a storage facility). They have a great deal on the first three months and they really are concerned with getting you the right unit for your storage needs and budget.

Comment: My friend has storage here and recommended it to me.Public storage strikes me as a commodity business - what differentiates different companies is the service. In this regard, STORBOX is a solid A. The staff is professional and knowledgeable. They run a very tight business, which reassures me that my stuff will be in a facility thats well maintained and secure. I spoke to Gloria and Scott.The facilities themselves are nice. I absolutely had to have something temperature controlled and low on humidity; STORBOX has both. The security is good. There are limited hours of access, but I think this is a good thing. It eliminates the security exposure of having to maintain open access during the night.I would highly recommend this storage business if youre optimizing for:- security- professionalism- good managementPrices are okay. You can probably find better prices elsewhere, but I dont think youll get the professionalism and high quality of service youll get at STORBOX.

Comment: I had already contacted and set up an appointment with another large chain. I wanted to check out more than one facility. When I called StorBox and spoke with a woman there, it was so much easier - there were no appointments required to meet with the facilities manager. I came in when I was in the area and spoke with a different person who answered all my questions and gave me advice on how to handle my concerns. She even gave me 2 names of local movers for my job. The move itself was simple. We used their truck for half a day (free!) and moved into a clean unit. There were NO problems and every one of the staff members was friendly and helpful. I loved dealing with this family owned local business!

Comment: I just recently signed a lease at Storbox self storage a couple of weeks ago and I was nothing but impressed by every part of the experience. When I first called in, the woman who i spoke with (i am really bad with names) was very nice and took her time and explained to me that there was no minimum amount of time on the lease, and that there were different size storage rooms i could come look at. i came with my wife to take a tour, and we liked how clean and safe it all is. You need a code to get in, and you need to enter your code before you get into the elevator. it feels very safe. cameras everywhere. ive run into a couple of other people while at the facility and everyones been very nice.and the rental truck! you get a FREE! rental truck to move all of your stuff in. its just really great all around. I am having my garage worked on right now, which is why i am using the facility. i would recommend this place to everyone.

Today I went to expand my storage unit and was helped by Athena who was very helpful, polite, courteous and professional. I never felt pressured - but was always informed of the options available to me and my storage unit. The facilities are clean and I like the procedures they have to keep the facilities secure. Comment: I was considering a number of storage facilities in the area, but Athena made my decision a no brainer. In my initial phone call, she was incredibly courteous and very knowledgeable. Later that day, I visited the site to view the facilities, as Athena suggested, but I arrived about 10 minutes before close. I felt very inconsiderate, but Athena was the opposite of annoyed. Comment: I called in on Monday and spoke with Athena. She was very helpful and knowledgeable!! She answered all of my questions and gave great recommendations on which size of unit I would need. She gave me a quote, after honoring the online web specials, and also emailed it to me. The pricing is very fair. I visited the facility on Wednesday and was helped by Scott, the general manager. He gave me a tour of the facility and also gave great recommendations on which size of unit would suit my needs best! He, too, was very kind and knowledgeable. The facility itself is very clean, with great security, and true climate controlled units. They even offer a free moving truck and use of their equipment to make our move into the storage units easier! Overall, I was very impressed with the customer service and the facility!

We were warming welcomed, given a tour, and had all of our questions answered in a thorough manner by the efficient and excellent Lynn. Comment: This place is awesome. When I was looking to store an extra rooms worth of stuff, this was one of the first places I looked. My cousin had a storage there a while back and its only gotten better with time. Athena was wonderful and explained the sizes and costs. Comment: This is the second time I use STORBOX service. The last time was five years ago. The reason I am back is because I find they provide great customer service., the staff really take care of your needs. Most important is that I did not get any problem from them like the ones I heard from other places. Secondly, the place just look clean and neat. The look is modern not like these other places. Thirdly, it is very important that I feel peace of mind leaving my stuff there. This is in terms of security and also because of the climate control plus video surveillance cameras. Being new to the area, Ive already had more than my fair share of fingers crossed moments in dealing with businesses and people. The decision to rent from Storbox was completely different.I did my Yelp and Google review of Storbox and their nearby competitors. I was impressed by the reviews so I entered my info online and was almost immediately contacted by Lien. She thoroughly advised me of all of my options for storage size, price and auto draft. When I arrived on-site, I was greeted by Athena and Margaret. Both were incredibly friendly and engaging...even gave me great suggestions and tips of local places to dine and see. Athena reiterated the same info Lien shared on the phone (i was waiting for a hook or a catch), gave me a tour of the full facility, and patiently walked me through the initial paperwork.Like I said off the top, overall great. Do I wish I had access to the facility with expanded hours? Sure. But Ill trade that for the security, cleanliness, and superb customer service.

From my first call to the facility Margaret was great and had such a welcoming tone. She was even more pleasant and helpful in person. As we briefly discussed my needs she quickly gathered several spaces for me to view. In touring it was obvious that Storbox was state of the art, visually appealing, and great security. I dont store wine but seeing the wine grotto definitely made me wish I was a collector!! I feel great about Storebox as the temporary location for my home furnishings.

Comment: So, after keeping a space at the local Public Storage for so many years I finally got tired of them constantly raising my rent every few months for the same exact space with no change of service. Enough already!! I would drive by STORBOX quite a few times so I finally looked it up online. Reserving a space and getting in there was so incredibly easy (with a great rate as well). The difference in quality between the two business is like night and day! Moving all my stuff out of Public Storage was like pulling teeth (lack of flatbed dollies, slllllow elevators, office looks like a prison guard station). I get to Storbox and they have plenty of flatbeds available (that you do NOT need to leave a license for to use), quick elevators and clean grounds. I was so impressed by them having a bathroom available. So many times Ive moved stuff and drove home with dirty hands! Not here. They even have music piping through the facility to entertain you. Overall, Im so happy I moved to this place. Highly recommended!

Comment: My first experience here at Storbox was very comfortable and easy. It was my first time renting out storage for my personal items and I am one of those people that have a hard time trusting my surroundings. Right when you walk in you immediately see a screen with security footage of live feed inside the storage unit halls. That alone helped ease my mind, along with every door having a keypad in which you had to enter a personal code just to enter the storage halls. These pads allow you to page the front desk if there is a problem or emergency, which is perfectly reassuring. The halls are very well lit up with motion sensor lights that turn on immediately when somebody walks through a door. This is very energy efficient and lets me know if anyone else is in the same hall. The loading dock is very convenient, they even provide several dollys in order for you to haul your things to your unit. It took all of 20 minutes for myself and 2 men to load our whole house into the unit. The selection of your unit is very nice because a staff member takes you to the exact unit they have planned for you and makes sure you are satisfied 100% with the space. I estimated a smaller unit than what I thought was needed and the staff member paged the front desk and asked them to find the perfect one to view not to far from where we were. I have been back to take out and put back into my storage and every time I am in and out, knowing I placed my belongings in safe hands. Everyone is extremely friendly and helpful, allowing my first experience to be comfortable and easy.

Comment: Would rate Storbox 4.5 stars. Ive used Storbox twice. First time was 5 years ago, for a period of 3 years, while I was working on the East Coast. Recently, I decided to rent with the again, since my experience the first time was so good. The spaces are clean, well monitored and climate controlled. The staff has always been friendly, professional and helpful. The prices are very competitive and there always seems to be some good deal (for example, I just got 50% off the first three months). The only drawback is that the hours on Sunday are shortened. Given that most moving happens on the weekend, it would be great if they could shift the shorter hours to a Monday. Oh well, everyone deserves some time off on the weekend.

The staff is very professional while still being relaxed and friendly. The entire facility is very clean. Security is remarkable and makes me feel like my unit is safe. They have dollys and lift gates for easy accessibility for heavy items. If i was ever in the need for another storage unit this would be the first place i give my business. Comment: The sign up process was pretty easy. The facility is seemed pretty clean and the workers were friendly. Lien in the front office gave me a tour and showed me around. She helped answered any questions I had and she made sure we were both on the same page. The facility is fairly easy to get around and I like how spacious the halls are so you never feel claustrophobic or anything. :)However if opening a storage unit here be cautious of all of the extras that they’ll charge you for. also take note of the fact that your ‘rent’ WILL increase. (with no warning or heads up). i’ve had my unit for almost 3 years now and it’s gone up a total of $47. so just keep that in mind.
