Great service by Streamline Electric of Detroit. First of all, these guys actually answered the phone and seemed more than happy to help me figure out how to install a 240 volt outlet in my garage for my new Tesla. I think it’s important to point this out because I called four other reputable electricians who either said they couldn’t get an estimator out for TWO MONTHS (an ESTIMATOR not the actual install) or they acted as if it would be too much of a pain to install. It’s also important to note that I live in a very old house, built in 1920 that a lot of tradesmen don’t prefer to deal with.The guy that scheduled the appointment had me to send him pictures via text message of the circuit breaker boxes and the specs of the charger and all that I wanted them to do. They gave me an estimate a few hours later and I was happy to pay a deposit right on the spot. They got me scheduled for the following week.Now to the actual install. Henry was here on time and extremely pleasant. He looked at everything and quickly assessed how/where he would run the conduit and place the receptacle for me. I was so desperate that I really didn’t care where he put it - I was cool with it even being outside of my garage if it was easier for him -but he wanted to make sure I was happy with its placement. He kept me posted of any change in cost from the estimate and completed the job by himself in less than 5 hours!! He just really took his time with everything and made it just right and his work was neat!! My expectations were so low after speaking with so many other electricians who didn’t seem to want the job- that I really wasn’t expecting the experience to be this good! Don’t get me wrong, I get it that covid has put a strain on the skilled trades industry (every industry for that matter). But just the way these guys handled themselves from the initial phone call to the install - was just fantastic. I was going CRAZY driving an electric car and using nothing more than the 110v outlet - talk about range anxiety!! Geez!!! Henry has made my life so much easier!! I am very appreciative of his skill, professionalism and kind demeanor. Thank you Henry and Streamline Electric.

Streamline was recommended by a friend and I am very thankful it was! The pricing was transparent and the electricians went above and beyond to diagnose and fix the problem in the least disruptive way possible to our home. In the course of the work they even identified another issue and fixed it at no additional charge. The technicians also priced their services to help us stay within budget and ultimately found a way to solve the problem using less material thereby saving us further money. Great experience from top to bottom.
While it was initially a little difficult to get hold of them, especially via phone, they do also have a website to request service and they got back to us after a little bit. That part was a little annoying, but what I did like was that they were very upfront about their pricing and we knew exactly what to expect.David came to my house and did an excellent job. He was professional, very nice, and solved our problem with his expertise. I like supporting Detroit businesses and I was glad to have David and streamline do work for us.
Streamline Electric is simply phenomenal. After having such a great experience with the owner installing a new electrical panel in our newly purchased, we hired Tim and his crew to do a bunch of work in our home we just purchased.We had a new kitchen completed with all hi-tech electrical outlets and recessed lighting and Tim addressed some major wiring issues in our basement before we started the remodeling project down there.Streamline has been my go to electrician for all my needs. Needed an electrical sub panel installed in my garage. Done baby! Finished the remodeling in the new family cave. You know it, Tim gave his expert advice and assistance and made sure the job was done right.Tim and his team is always professional and easy to work with. He is happy to explain anything we need. He even rushed to our house when we had a mishap with one of our appliances after I unsuccessfully did an upgrade on an outlet.So if you really want a company that looks out for your best interest and dont give you the blues with excuses, I would highly recommend Tim and his team at Streamline Electric.

We had a urgent project which needed to be completed by year end for a machine to be installed in our facility. The entire staff from head to toe worked around our schedule to assure a smooth installation. This was the 3rd time working with this company and they will be our go to for future work. They were just great! Leonard the Master Electrician came out and identified a great solution, priced it very competitively, and the electrician came out on the scheduled day and did a really beautiful job! They installed a new 240 Volt line from my service to an interruptible meter, to a cut-off switch, through my basement, and into my attached garage and then along the wall to where I wanted the jack. Im a perfectionist and the work he did was masterful! Job done for the quoted price! Id use them again in a heartbeat! They are clearly professionals that bring commercial quality work to a residential home. As far as the price goes, you get what you pay for.

Job Description: Installing a new 220v circuit, in an unfinished basement, approx 10 ft from panelOutrageously overpriced! This was an incredibly simple job that reasonably required only 1 man-hour. Shame on me for not getting a firm quote beforehand, but I didnt feel it was necessary for such a small job from a highly rated provider. Upon completion, they tried to charge me $440, based on two guys for two hours plus parts. One of the guys left to go to the store for over 90 minutes. Im not paying hundreds of dollars for them to shop for basic parts that should be on the truck. Eventually settled on $350 just to get them out of the house. Still ridiculously overpriced.Would never use again, would never recommend.

2022-08-18Streamline was great! I was able to quickly schedule them for a day when someone would be home and the tech showed up right on time. Although originally hired to inspect some wiring (fishy smell from wall prompted the call), their tech was able to fix an overheating switch to our chandelier and return service to an outdoor garage light that hadn’t worked since we moved in, as well!While he wasn’t able to identify what was causing the occasional smell, I appreciated that he didn’t waste our time (and charge for more hrs) by keeping the inspection from going longer than needed and assured us that the wiring was fine after closing all of the outlets back up.Would definitely recommend and use them again!

2022-05-05Words cannot express just how happy I am about the work I had done by Streamline. I recently opened my first art gallery in 12 Oaks Mall, and my space was interesting because the previous owners were a cell phone company…which means the existing drop ceiling lights were absolutely terrible for artwork. I immediately was overwhelmed and thought there was no way this space could do my large oil paintings justice. Streamline came in and custom designed and installed a lighting system that blew my mind. Track lights…a beautiful and intricate crystal chandelier… and dimmers that allow me to choose just the right ambiance! Perfect isn’t even the word! What’s more is that their customer service is absolutely impeccable (they even helped me after normal hours). Come visit Fine Art by Carmen in 12 Oaks Mall in Novi to see for yourself. 2022-08-18My tech Henry did an amazing job. He was knowledgeable and friendly.However I ran into several issues with the main office. From not calling when the initial tech was unable to show to not schedule enough time for the job to be completed. I have to call them to get both issues fixed instead of them reaching out to me.

2022-03-18Paul ( electrician), was a wonderful person, very professional, knew exactly how to trouble shoot the problem. Paul, went through and explained what he had to do to repair the job. Safety 1st is a priority with him in doing the project. Im very happy with the job well done and very happy to have met Paul. I had my kitchen fuse blow out - called Streamline and Mark ( who also was very nice and professional ) took care of the paperwork and setup. THANK YOU STREAMLINE.

2022-07-19Our electric panels weren’t working right. They were shortening out the circuits in half the house. Paul came out and took care of the problem and explained everything along the way.
