Comment: There’s a resident in this building who has been shouting out his window all week. This morning he started at 7:15 but sometimes he starts shouting as early as five, and he continues shouting until about midnight. I’ve tried calling the property manager but have gotten nowhere — so please, someone tell him to shut up and I’ll delete this review.The window in question is the top floor window on the far left. The Studio435 building with Mission on the corner.

Comment: I have said this before, the reason I like it here so much is because of Alethea. She has been so kind to me. Any maintenance work was completed immediately. She’s has walked the block and helped me find my packages when OnTrac delivers them elsewhere. There are two interns here now with her, if they pick up on her kindness skill, then they will be set. You can live anywhere. I didn’t even know what this place was or where it was when I moved in. It’s people that end up making the difference. She makes a huge difference for me. She is kind, and there aren’t a lot of folks out there like that nowadays.

She is still trusting that people of Good Conscience will return her items to Lost And Found of the San Diego Metro Trolley Services in a timely fashion

Socorro helped me during all these years with any maintenance that I need. Lived there for almost 2 years. Great experience, I strongly recommend!

Comment: 📢🚨ATTENTION 📢🚨DO NOT RENT FROM STUDIO 435, THEY WILL KEEP YOUR DEPOSIT AND COME UP WITH A LAME EXCUSE.When my son and daughter-in-law moved in 6mths ago, there was a stain in the mattress. They recently moved out, my son called to ask about their deposit, this lady told them they were being charged $1,300 for the stain in the mattress! For the stain that was ALREADY there when they moved in, like WTH. That is absolutely not fair that my kids have to pay for something they didnt do. Im so upset!! They are taking advantage of them specially because they are young.*I give them 0 star.

Very rude employees and not helpful at all. They try to cover for themselves and putting the blame on us for the damages that were already there.Save yourself the trouble and look elsewhere!!

They said “can’t do anything about it” when we tried telling them about it. Anything to take our deposit.Save your money I do not recommend it. Plus parking is horrible.Maintenance is poor.

Comment: Worst experience ever! Bed bugs!! No easy parking! Every night we stayed here we had to circle around for 20mins to find street parking.We booked a stay here on booking.com and it was the worst vacation ever.To begin with these are suppose to be apartments and not used as a hotel. We were unaware of that until we got here! Also on booking.com they promote free parking when we showed up Raj from booking.com says yea you can park anywhere on the street..but of course theres no available parking.And to top it off we leave our 2 night stay with over 10 bites each!! BED BUGS!!

The home was fully furnished which made my move super easy! Caylee who fills in occasionally is so nice and always has answers to any questions I have. I’m soooo sad to leave the community.

Tamatha has been so helpful whenever we needed information or office related work done. Caylee was informative during our stay and so helpful when we got stuck in a different state during covid.*Be aware of notice to terminate time frame when signing your lease and vacating

Comment: I just want to say that Tamatha has been nothing short of amazing! She made my move from Wisconsin so smooth and made it extremely easy for me to transition from location to location. She is so easy to communicate resident issues and concerns with and her and Saccarro work hard to make sure all work orders are done in a timely fashion. I am soooo soo thankful to have her as a property manager, she makes my living experience even more wonderful then it already is.

Comment: We stayed in Studios435 for five months and it was a overall positive experience. The units are rather small, but affordable. The community is friendly and if you want to socialize with each other, there is a large community kitchen to do so. The staff was very helpful and especially Marissa was very forthcoming.The Studios are situated in East Village, an area with a vibrant neighborhood. There are cafes, restaurants and bars very close by and also the very famous Gaslamp District is within walking distance.So in general we can highly recommend Studios435!

Would not recommend living- police and staff were not helpful for days.Charged my friend an extra month rent since you need to let them know 30 days in advance apparently if you plan on moving somewhere else instead of just having it end.People are always trying to get into the room.

Comment: While financial situations meant I was not able to rent a property at this current time, the staff I saw for the tour were very friendly and helpful, and the property manager I spoke to on the phone helped secure my application fee refund with no problems. Once I am able to, I will definitely consider them as an option again. Rooms looked great.

Comment: I came to San Diego on a travel nursing assignment. So far this place has been PERFECT for me. Ive been all over California (San Francisco, Los Angeles) I can honestly say for the location and price, this is the spot. Located in the heart of the city in trendy East Village next to Petco Park home of the Padres, Convention Center, Gaslamp Quartee. Theres breweries and everything you need within walking distance. If you are to drive, everything you need is a 20 min drive or less to some of the popular destinations such as the beach, Balboa Park, San Diego Zoo, etc. You can get to some of these places using bird scooters if you wanted to.I take the trolley to work, and when Im off I enjoy everything the city has to offer.These are studios but they are very spacious, clean, and new. Only a year old. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. They plan group events and there to meet your needs.Parking is a bit of a challenge but you really dont need a car.Im so happy I chose this place, because I honestly couldnt think of a better introduction to San Diego. This is in East Village, which is the newest development in San Diego. Theres a lot of construction but that only means youre in the hottest spot in town.

Comment: Ive been here for about 6 months now, and my experience has been amazing. I see a lot of comments on here about the staff, the staff is fantastic. You need something, they are on it and within 24 hours it is done.You always get notifications when something is going to be down for a bit whether its a holiday and services wont be available for that day. The place is always clean, even when some guests are inconsiderate by leaving stuff around, its taken care of the next morning.If youre considering moving to San Diego and need a place to settle in for a while, this is a great place.

Comment: I love it here. It has an indoor/outdoor gym with some unique equipment including a row machine and battle ropes! You can tell they thought a lot about little things like having usb inputs in the wall outlets. One of my favorite surprise perks though is the access to Cox WiFi hotspots all over the city included in the cable package. Definitely recommend this place if you want to be downtown and it’s right next to the baseball stadium and gas lamp.

One instance that really made me confident in their professionalism was when I lost my keys just around closing hours and management provided me with quick assistance. Also, as a working professional having an immaculate business center is a major plus. There is always coffee in the lobby and the communal spaces are always clean.

Comment: Awful place to live. A/C system has been out for months and whenever we ask management about an update all they say is “we’re working on it”. Well they’ve been “working on it” for 3 months while still charging us for something completely unusable. The water in our unit won’t get hot and it took me telling them several times to even attempt to fix it. They turned up the boilers for our unit but guess what. Cold showers still. We have noisy upstairs neighbors and have told management several times about it. They say they have given them a call and even written an email to them however it still persist. My husband and I went upstairs to talk to them at 10:30 at night because they were still stomping around and the gentleman got mad at us saying we should have went to management and not come up to his place at 10:30pm. We have gone to management. Several times. Obviously that didn’t work so we took matters into our own hands. People here are money hungry and will not help you out. The place started out great but it has done nothing but go downhill ever since. Save yourself the hassle and move somewhere else. For $2,200 a month (with a $200 discount a month!)we should have no problems resolving these kinds of issues. There are plenty of other places around the area that would actually treat you like you matter.
