One of the worst experiences I’ve had at this place! I made a 9:30 appt for an oil change 1 week prior. At 1 when I called they still had not pulled my car in and the lady said couldn’t find the service advisor but he’d call me back. When I called an hour later they tried the same thing which I then insisted on talking to someone. The person came on went back & discovered car was ready. I set an early appt because I thought I needed new brakes so that would give us the proper time to fix same day. There was no mention of the brakes so I assumed they were still good. On the ride home I noticed the checked the box on the sticker on my car as brakes POOR!!!! No mention at all of this & they allowed me to go home with a car with brakes that are judged as POOR!!!! Unbelievable, no mention at all nothing! Unfortunately I’ve prepaid for 1 more oil change but will never be back after this! Bought or leased 8 cars from these people in 25 years & this is my treatment! No thanks
Im sad I can no longer come here for service. I had a Nissan Rogue and purchased a different brand of Vehicle over summer. Ive taken my new vehicle to two dealerships for service trying to get the experience I got here. None of them compare. The service department here is the best hands down in Metro Detroit. Im not kidding. I miss them dearly! Ill never ever buy anything else besides a Nissan from here and out. So I can stay at this Dealership. Its not just Suburban either... its this specific Dealership and the service department employees and what they do. They go above and beyond taking care of you and your vehicle! I MISS YOU GUYS!!!! 😢
It was my time to get a new car. Ive been driving Nissan cars for years, so I qualify for their Loyality pricing program. Basically it gives customers discounts for staying loyal to Nissan. My award winning salesman, Brian Evans, utilized the pricing software in order to work a deal. Because of my business color, I wanted a coordinating car...in red. I saw what I was looking for and got more than expected.( touch screen, heated seats, handless rear door opener, etc...
While they will find the problem with you car if you take it in for service, they’ll also try to charge you for every small nitpick item as well. I took my car in for a recalled item (a free checkup included) and they gave me a bill over $15,000. Would NOT recommend coming in for any service needs.
Wasted my time driving over 1.5 hours to look at a car. I called the dealership and told them I am 45 minutes out but would like to look and buy a s4 they had listed. Was told to come out and take it for a drive as the car is still available. I got there and was told the car is sold, but they have other Audi’s (ofc not what I was looking for). Seems like they new very well the car sold but wanted to get me in the door to possibly buy something else. Waste of my time, would not recommend
Leasing a car from Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills exceeded all of my expectations. From my first inquiry via email to driving off the lot in my new car, everyone I encountered here was knowledgeable, fully transparent, and customer-service oriented. Buying/leasing a car can be pretty stressful, but the folks here made the process so easy and, dare I say, down-right enjoyable. If youre in the market for a new vehicle, I highly recommend Suburban Nissan.
I came here because of the good reviews and was not disappointed. I dealt with Shaun and Brian, who were both friendly and professional. Everyone there seemed very attentive and cool (didnt see any masks, though, FYI). Service was fast, I got the best deal I could in this market. I love my new car! Thanks, Suburban Nissan of FH! Highly recommended.
Bought my new Nissan here and service used to be superb while Ashley was there. The new advisor has no idea what hes doing and would take your car in after booked appointments for particular fix for days and shoot me a oh by the way it will be a 3k out of pocket charge for something that I was able to get under factory warranty for my new car. The manager tries to argue with me and shift the blame on rocks hitting the inside of the car and bent the interior bracket perfectly in sync. Not to mention the terrible communication where they dont contact you on when your car will be ready nor what is wrong with it unless you press them. Lost all my trust after promising to fix my car and never communicated that it will be a out of pocket charge while holding my car indefinitely. Went to Fox Nissan and actually had a very professional experiences. Would not recommend at all.
Had an excellent car buying experience with Nick Skyes and the financing team. They diligently searched for the best rates, created a custom package that met my needs, and provided great insight on all aspects! I had a seamless, professional, and enjoyable experience and will be returning in the future!
$1100 for a window regulator was a ridiculous quote. Why are you charging so much? Cooks automotive charges less than $400 out the door for the same service. This seems predatory. Also $1100 for fluids and $900 for a new key fob? C’mon! I know you guys are hurting for business through sales, but that’s not a good value. You’re better than that Nissan!
My salesman Shaun Bradley went above and beyond to ensure that I was in my new vehicle before my lease ended with another vehicle brand. The entire sales team was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional. I have been sharing with everyone the exceptional service that I received from Shaun and recommending him to anyone who is looking for a new vehicle.
I am so busy with my students, and I needed a vehicle that will get me to and from the school. When I came to Suburban Farmington Hills Nissan, the associates were helpful and friendly. Kaila is a knowledgeable sales/leasing specialist who knows how to take care of her customers, Mike gave me the upmost respect when I was buying my vehicle. I love my new/used vehicle, and I highly recommend Suburban Farmington Hills Nissan for a vehicle because the associates will take care of you.
I used to use this team for my services a lot. Unfortunately my last experience was my last. Not only was cash missing from my car, but I was charged for incomplete jobs. I decided to go and see if all the work was actually completed, and unfortunately they never actually did the jobs as promised. On top of all of that, the service advisor was unhelpful and rude during all of our phone calls. So sad to see this after so many years of working together.
Very Friendly staff and Brian was extremely helpful and patient with me. I told them I had a horrible experience at another dealership and they assured me that was not going to happen to me. It didnt, everyone that worked with me, made me feel important and serviced with me dignity and pride.
It was awesome that we could find the right person to reach out at the right time. The service offered by Shaun Bradley was on the top notch and we were so satisfied and happy with suburban Nissan. Also, Shaun not only explained every thing we needed but also introduced us to the service team at suburban Nissan and a great introduction the vehicle.
The price for car repair/service is INSANE! They charged me $190. for 4 quarts of transmission fluid! It cost $360. to change 4 quarts of transmission fluid in my Nissan Versa. It probably took them about 20 minutes to do, and the materials probably cost them $50. or less.My tailgate door lock quit working so I had them look at it. I agreed to a $160. diagnostic fee for them to tell me my door lock quit working because it was broken. The $160. would be applied towards the cost of the repair, which seemed fair. The problem was they wanted $520. to change the latch! There is only 3 bolts that hold the door latch on. They just have to unscrew 3 bolts, unplug the wire, plug the new latch wire in and put the 3 bolts back in... I told them to skip fixing the door latch and forfitted my $160. diagnostic fee to them because I couldnt afford the additional $360.My experience was: to have my transmission fluid changed (4 quarts total), have my engine coolant changed (about 1 gallon of fluid), rotate my tires and to tell me my door latch was broken (but not fixing it), it cost me $815.00! It would have costed about $1175.00 if I had them go ahead and replace the door latch (a $100. part)!I expected the dealership to be expensive, but I wanted to be sure these fluids were changed according to the manufacturers procedures. Expensive is one thing, but I truly believe all the repairs/services (including replacing the door latch) could have been completed by one of the technicians in about an hour, and Im quite sure the fluids, door latch and any miscellaneous shop supplies cost the dealership less then $200. Wanting to charge me nearly $1200 for that is quite a bit more then expensive in my book! I wont be back. ...I cant afford to come back...
The staff and crew are amazing at this place. Not only they were courteous, but the place is clean and well organized. There may be times that they are busy, but they always have a happy face when serving the customers! Always a pleasure to do business here! Highly recommended!
There was an issue in power steering, after one month of investigation they said issue with instrument cluster, that cannot be fixed but they need new instrument cluster, my original cluster had 99k miles on odometer, they got new one which had 141k miles on it, without informing about this to me, they replaced the cluster, I could have bought cluster for a less price with less miles. After that they said issue with Steering control module, which again cannot be fixed and needs new module, I trust them maybe it needs new module but before replacing the instrument cluster they should have informed me about mileage
Thanks to our sales guy Bobby and the whole Suburban Nissan team. They made our new car buying experience seamless and frankly, awesome! Shout out to Scott and our finance manager (love the digital document table). I fully recommend Suburban Nissan to anyone looking for a great buying process.
Recently went with a friend to look at a car theyd found while searching online. The car they liked just happened to be at this dealership. I found nothing mechanically wrong with the vehicle, and the frame wasnt rusted at all, so I okd the car and they decided to buy it. Thats where it went sideways imo. The salesman was a fast talker, which always irritates me, so I waited outside for the rest. Anyway, he ended up paying a little more than i thought he should of for it (he paid straight out of pocket too), the document fees were a little higher than I usually see, and they had a $200 sanitization fee added (which Ive never seen, and should be included in the lot prep and already factored into the cars price). It took them over an hour to get everything finalized, during which time it looks like they gave it a quick wash to knock the dust off (usually 15min), and they put a small hole in the rear window tint taking the sales stickers off carelessly. Not surprised about that, and I could tell from the interior that their detailing staff does shotty work. There were stains left in the roof liner and a couple spots on the back seat and carpet, and a dust layer left behind on the dash, probably from wiping down with cheap, heavily lint leaving rags. They also tried to say they put 1500 into it, when all they did was put some cheap all season tires on it and replaced the front stab links ($600 parts/tires + 2hr labor if Im being generous). The only good thing really was that the car was in good shape, which had nothing to do with them. They just got a good trade in off somebody.
Scotte Spencer the Sales Manager gave me an amazing and smooth experience while purchasing my Vehicle. Got me the car of my dreams and great rate!!! Definitely will be a returning customer as well as recommending to family members. Thanks Suburban Nissan Farmington Hills team on my beautiful new car
Christopher Clark was the gentleman who helped my wife and I finance our new Murano and we couldnt be happier. He was very polite, courteous and made the whole experience way less painful than previous dealership trips. Between Chris and Brian, they both made this a very pleasant experience. Cant recommend this place enough.
Great no contact experience! Loved having my car picked up and returned in same morning! Suburban always has fantastic customer service! They make an inconvenient necessary part of life a little easier!I just leased another Nissan with suburban last night!Great easy experience! No hassle no wait SO smooth! Finance department is organized and thorough!Brian Evans my sales person is the best!! I always go back! A great place with great people!!
I went in for an oil change and to check my brakes. After the had a chance to look, I was told the brakes were good. I explained that they squeel and havent been replaced in 7 years. They checked again and needed to be replaced. Later, when driving home, I noticed that the tires were not rotated even though it was on the invoice.TLDR; they missed a necessary repair and claimed work was done that wasnt.
I spoke with Scott Spencer the Sales Manager to help me lower my car note and to also have the maintenance package included in my payment...he assisted me well. I am very pleased with Scott...he has great listening skills, great customer service skills and great financial skills. He introduced me to my new sales representative Shaun Bradley, who took very good care of me. A very nice and polite young man, with great customer service skills. Shaun took the time to explain the details of my new car to me and answered all my questions with patience.Thank you you both, Carolyn
6 weeks for warranty repair. Tech broke windshield on test drive, 2 weeks to replace. Given car back with windshield tape still on, I was told peel it off, leaving glue residue on all surfaces that won’t come off. No service, no calls to follow up. Simply terrible customer “service”
The people at Suburban Nissan in Farmington Hills are the best! That is what makes the experience so unique. Customer service has been lost in so many areas in our lives but at Suburban Nissan is alive and well. Prompt, courteous and with a smile :) Thank you for making me really feel like a valued customer!
Very unhappy with how the service department has been dealing with customers lately. It feels they have no interest on customer feedback and it’s either go big or home: either you accept we do a few thousand $ job or just go away. They are just unwilling to do a job if it’s not expensive. Over-inflating the seriousness of a required repair it’s just unprofessional and I will rather take my business somewhere else from now on. I’m not writing this in the heat of one incident, I have just noticed things getting worse for the past few visits in the last 9 months or so. I was happy with the sales representatives who helped me purchase my car, they did an awesome job however the service department is going downhill
I’ve purchased multiple vehicles from Suburban dealerships. Each experience was pleasant... except the most recent. My wife and I went in looking to purchase a specific vehicle. We scheduled an appointment ahead of time with the dealership and were told that the vehicle would be ready and waiting for us.We stood around for 45 minutes after arriving promptly. No vehicle, no idea we were coming. Clearly no communication. After taking the vehicle for a test drive, we asked to drive another of the same model as the first didn’t drive as expected. Come to find out, the Certified Pre-Owned inspection had not been performed. This being the case, the vehicle should not have been listed for sale. Issues aside (which were remedied by inspection and repair), we decided to purchase the vehicle.Neither the salesman nor sales manager made an attempt to work with us on pricing of the vehicle or trade. Undoubtedly, trade-in value was low. However, we are well-qualified payment buyers and the finance manager made it work to accommodate us. The only accommodation of the entire process. We were told we may have to wait a short while after our paperwork was done to take the vehicle, fine. Then we were told it would be the next day. Then the day after that, as they needed a part to complete the Certified Pre-Owned process. Then the weekend after that when it didn’t show. Then the Monday after that... Tuesday... a week. The salesman was simply passing the buck as to why the vehicle wasn’t ready. Over and over. The service and parts department had no idea what was happening. The sales manager simply refused to return calls. The process of not knowing when the vehicle would be ready and having to continually check due to lack of trust in the employees robbed my wife of the excitement of a new vehicle. The only silver lining from the entire process is the fact that the finance manager was extremely proficient, congenial, and professional. Had the entire experience been as smooth as the paperwork, it would’ve been fantastic.TL/DR : the dealership listed a car as ready for sale when it wasn’t and bungled the transaction for a week. Go elsewhere.EDIT: This ordeal has continued to prolong. The dealership neglected to promptly mail out the payoff check to our previous bank, resulting in multiple late payment notices, phone calls, etc.. After speaking with an incredibly friendly employee at our local branch, we were able to remedy the situation. Once the check DID arrive, it was short, requiring my wife to go to the bank and pay the difference.Following this, the dealership contacted US to request a letter from the bank stating the previous vehicle was paid off and that if we didnt have one, to come to the dealership and sign off on the lien because they had an interested buyer in the vehicle we traded. The condescension toward my wife from the staff is deplorable. The manager spoke to me as if Im a buddy and that my wife was some dumb woman. Thats MY WIFE.Clearly, these buffoons have a specific MO and arent going to change. Already trying to sell a vehicle that doesnt have the paperwork in order, and borderline harassing my wife. Some serious change needs to happen at this dealership. From the top down.
Professional, attentive and courteous car buying experience. Our sales consultant Shaun B was amazing. Very patient and no pressure sales whatsoever. Look forward to seeing the entire staff for the routine maintenance visits in the future. Thanks for a great deal! Rob & Paulo
I drove from Toledo and arrived early for my 7:30am appointment only to find my appointment information hadnt transferred over. Despite this bump in the road, I was well taken care of by the service staff. They addressed the issues with my vehicle and took care to complete the needed work.
I was treated like a queen! I have been leasing for a long time and have never felt so taken care of! Brian Evans was the best and made my lease experience very enjoyable. On top of getting me the best deal in Oakland County, he even bought me and my granddaughter lunch! Although he talks really fast, he was honest and sincere and should I decide to lease again, 3 years from now, it will be from him. His coworkers were pretty cool too!
Not impressed with dealership but super impressed with Salesperson, Eden.Went today to try out a Volkswagen Atlas. Eden met us at the door and was very friendly and helpful. Due to no fault of hers, the test drive NEW vehicle was not clean, not disinfected and actually had a shimmy while driving it.She was embarrassed at the condition of vehicle and offered us another to test drive but we had seen enough. I would hope this dealership would up their game in this competitive world and they should be grateful they have Eden in their staff. She is an asset.
I just recently purchased a CPO VW 2018 Tiguan. The experience from start to finish was an absolute disaster. It was the most frustrating experience I’ve EVER had purchasing a vehicle. We came in last week knowing exactly what vehicle we were interested in. It was listed online, so naturally we assumed this vehicle was ready for purchase. We were an easy buy. As long as the car met our expectations and car payment was at the level I wanted, it was a done deal. Only due to my excellent credit and extended financing, we agreed the price would work for us. After this we were told the car was next in line to go through the CPO process and we could take it that night. This was not the case. It needed some work and a specific part that was apparently not available. We were then told it would be ready Friday morning...then Monday...then hopefully sometime over the weekend...then Tuesday. Finally, a week later, I have my car. I understand if a part isn’t available, but the way we were treated was so unprofessional. Also if it was listed online for sale, it should have already gone through the CPO process and been ready to go. I had several unreturned calls to the sales manager who just flat out ignored me. When I got responses from the salesman I got more of a “our hands are tied” then “we are so sorry for the inconvenience” Some simple professionalism and owning responsibility would have made all the difference. The most pleasant part of our experience was dealing with the financial services manager Brian, who was extremely professional and made me feel valued as a customer. This experience took all the excitement out of getting a new car and caused a significant amount of stress. I will never return to this dealership, and would recommend if you are looking for a new vehicle to go elsewhere.
The young lady that helped me in the service center was very nice, professional and knowledgeable. She went over and beyond basic customer service and for that reason, I will continue to patronize this location unless I have a less pleasant experience. The staff in general have always greeted me and asked if Ive needed anything. They also have free refreshments (coffee, tea, snacks) I love that you can use their wifi and charging stations. They used to also offer popcorn and have a BBQ as customer appreciation before COVID19. Overall great place to support.
First-class dealership and excellent customer service. My sales person Shaun Bradley2 was awesome from start to finish. He was highly professional but friendly and knowledgeable of their product. Shaun painstakingly took the time to show me all the features of the Rogue. He is a model salesperson. Relax, reassuring and very patient with me. :-)The managers were hands-on and did their diligence to help me get approved and get my vehicle same day. Would recommend this dealership to my friends, family and co-workers.
AMAZING service department!! Didn’t have a appointment yesterday but got me in because of me driving to New York for Christmas holiday. Needed a oil change and recall done and Kyle with the swiftness got me in and taken care of in 1 hr!!! Thanks so much for your great customer service
If youre looking for a car COME HERE! The customer service is amazing! Jarrell, thank you for keeping me updated through the process of purchasing my car! The entire team was very friendly and professional. Jarrell made sure my car was in perfect condition before I picked it up. I will encourage friends and family to come to this dealership! I will definitely be back when I need my next vehicle.
Suburban Nissan Farmington Hills has made me rethink my past experience with car dealers most for the great work of Brian Evans. I came in Nissan the same way as I came in the other dealers and immediately Brian Evans received me in a very welcoming manner which I was pleased. I was able to place all my questions and get a satisfying answer. I explained to him my needs and based on our conversation, Brian picked out a car for me to test drive. He was quick to point out the improved features from one model to the other awhile I was driving and using them. I also tried a different vehicle from a different maker that is part of Suburban. As the Nissan cars Brian also explained all the features of this particular model and test drove it. I was very surprised with the promptness and willing to clarify all my doubts on a clear way that I could understand. Post our appointment Brian was also able to send out some more additional information through email. That for me was the best way I was handled so far when shopping for a new car. Hope this review helps some of you folks if you have questions come in Nissan and you will walk away in a better position to make a clear decision for your next vehicle. Have fun shopping for a new car.
Chantel is great. She was straight forward and moved things along and didnt miss anything. She even dropped off my garage door opener and a CD I left in my SUV that I brought back because the lease ended, straight to my door! Great girl to work with. They are lucky to have her.
My salesman, Shaun Bradley was great to deal with. Leased a car for my 16 yr old and he made the experience very exciting for her. The deal was worked up during the pandemic and he communicated very well both over the phone and email providing all information requested. The signing process was made quickly to avoid any excessive time in the showroom.
I recently switched over from another Nissan Dealer because of the outstanding service I receive at Suburban Nissan of Farm Hills. They are friendly, efficient, and I love the text notifications as a way to communicate with your service rep. Kyle has helped me each time, and hes very personable, professional, and pretty knowledgeable. I definitely recommend this dealership for your service needs.
Brought My 1993 300z in few weeks ago for some shuttering and cutting off issues and dealt with Kyle! Great brother who was very into exactly what I was telling him about my vehicle and what need to be done! The guy was awesome and when I got my car back it was like a BRAND NEW CAR!!!Thanks again Kyle and you definitely will be seeing me again!
I highly recommend this dealership. My dealer Shaun Bradley went above and beyond to meet my vehicle needs and made sure to find the best fit. All the employees I encountered made my car buying experience a most comfortable, informative and friendly experience. Shaun was very available to reach and answered all my questions and kept me very well informed. No matter your interests in vehicles, you are made to feel that you are their #1 priority. The big red bow and sold sign with my name on it that I seen when I came in to purchase my 2019 Sentra was an exciting personal touch. At Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills, the customer truly matters!!!
Its actually a pleasure to get my car serviced here. The people are always pleasant and knowledgeable, the waiting area is clean, comfortable, and bright, and there is always fresh popcorn and coffee! I also have the added satisfaction of knowing that anything I need done on a schedule is noted and kept track of, both for my own safety and security on the road but also so that my warranty will always be valid. Its just a good deal all around for not much more than those quickie lube places.
Bobby, Jarrell, and Scott were really helpful, patient, and understanding (considering I really had no idea what I wanted). But at the end we came up with a deal, it was perfect and I am happy with my new car! Thanks again guys-Compared to my last experience with Nissan in 2017, I enjoyed working with Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills a lot more.
100% first class operation from my first contact. I was purchasing a vehicle and coming up from Cincinnati and Jarrell could not have been any better at accommodating me with close up photos, short videos, etc.Driving up 4 hours to test drive and pick it up, they also had everything set up to get it done and get me back on the road home. Thanks, guys and again, first class service!
I called and specifically confirmed this dealership was able to work on the Nissan Leaf. They assured me they could, so I set the appointment and specified exactly the update I wanted to have done.Upon showing up, the service tech informs me that the dealer ship is not leaf certified, and my requested work cannot be performed. You might think that someone at the dealership would see a Leaf scheduled for an update, and think to call and cancel the appointment - or that the person scheduling me for service would be aware that the location cannot service a leaf.In the end I wasted a bunch of my morning, and was left reversing out of the service entrance as the pull through was blocked. Two stars, as everyone I spoke to was very polite.
Bryant Thomas was a great sales man to me. He guided in all the aspects from choosing the suitable and comfortable car for me. He took care of all the necessary things for credit approval and helped me to get the car fast. He explains all the things about the car and the show room facilities. He talks nicely. I recommend my friends and colleagues also to contact him whenever they want to buy/lease a car. Thank you very much Thomas.
Bryant Thomas is an excellent sales guy. We had a great experience buying our vehicle from him. He was very professional in understanding our requirements about the model/make and color. Bryant went over all the features of the vehicle and made sure we were familiar with the features. Very satisfied with the buying experience at Suburban. Thank you Bryant.
Came in yesterday for Oil change and a recall on my car and Kyle was very fast and very friendly from the moment he greeted me in the service department! Kudos to excellent customer service you have and I will DEFINITELY be back again because of Kyle! 5 Star Experience!!!
This is a great dealership to purchase a vehicle. The manager goes out of his way to make the customers experience great. Honest dealership that sell new, certified and used vehicle. I recommended my niece to this dealership where she purchase a good used vehicle. Love this place and I woul recommend to other friends and family members.
January 8, 2018I would like to pay a well deserved compliment to Brian L. Evans (my Sales Consultant). Upon my visit on January 2, 2018, Brian was very attentive to my concerns about getting out of my 2 year lease. He went over and beyond to treat me with Excellent Customer Service...Very Polite, Honest and Concentration on what I needed in a car and payment. Brian, was very detailed in teaching me every step about how to use my new car. He kept his promise, he followed up the next day and the day after to see if I had any questions and to thank me once again for my business. On January 5, 2018, I called Brian he immediately returned my call to assist me with my car. He was a pleasure to work with and I am enjoying the comfort and the style of my new Nissan Rogue Sport. Thank you Brian for being a Real Person. Carolyn D.
Consistently terrible service. Over multiple visits:* They do not fix what they say they will.* They will not call back when they say they will. When you call back, they typically can not find your car or your repair order.* They can not identify the problem. I always have to say no, please check again - this is specifically what you should be looking for.One of my better experiences, this dealer replaced 3 tires - did not check tire pressure after mounting. One of the new tires at 20 psi, one at 40, one at 32. I had to add the air myself. One of the new tires developed a slow leak immediately after they mounted the tire. I had to add air myself to keep it up to the correct pressure. They checked and said nothing is wrong. I told them to check again. They determined it was the tire pressure sensor (no problems ever before new tire was mounted). Dealer refused to replace or fix. Want to charge $255 to repair the tire presser sensor they damaged by mounting the new tire. If anyone would like a similar experience, please stop by Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills.Update(after owner post below): I did talk to the service manager, who ultimately refused to fix the problem they caused. Can you imagine having three new tires installed and not checking the pressure? My tire pressure light was on and needed immediate service. Then refusing to fix the tire pressure sensor issue they caused by the tire installation? I had the car for over 3 years with absolutely no problems with tire leaks until the stellar mechanics at Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills got at my car. I can barely wait to buy my next car at this dealership, based on their commitment to the customer and outstanding service organization.
Do not go to this dealership - horrible customer service mindset. Even the GM does not care about the customer. I had a new vehicle I ordered delivered there . Made an appointment to pick it up. After setting in the waiting room for four hours . I asked to see the GM he rudely told me they had not had time to wash it yet and fill it up. Told me to maybe come back tomorrow. I told him I live two hours away. I told him I would take it as is. He went and got the keys threw them at me and said it is out back somewhere. After a heated confrontation in the show Room he agreed to have a salesman bring it up front at least. No it was you guys. This occurred about 8 months ago.
Being less than a mile from my new work location I decided to bring my 2017 Nissan in to have an error message checked that had been showing off and on for months involving a front sensor. I previously used the dealership in Cannton but the proximity to work made sense.I pulled in and was greeted by a young lady that I described the error message to and even showed a photo of the light that comes on as it only comes on in certain areas. After about a 40 minute wait she returned to tell me there was no way to diagnose the error unless it happened while hooked up to the diagnostic program. Huh? After giving me several implausible possibilities (none made an ounce of sense) and essentially telling me nothing was wrong and they “wiped off the sensor,” and saying “there’s just no way to say what’s wrong if it doesn’t happen on diagnostics,” and me recommending the mechanic drive it to see for themselves, I left.A week later I took it to the Canton dealership, described the exact same scenario as I did with these folks and they knew the problem immediately. A bracket was broken on the sensor which means these folks never even looked at it. The mechanic in Canton AND service advisor explained this happens all the time. Parts ordered, installed the next day, problem solved.Apparently I’m not the only one unhappy with this dealership and their lack of knowledge and attention. I’ll never go anywhere but the Canton Nissan again. Major fail Farmington Hills Nissan!
Pretty much plan on being left in the dust the moment you finalize a sale. They are willing to bend over backwards to give out loaner cars that are for sale up until your sale is finalized. Even with my tire warranty they are still leaving me on a spare for Saturday-Tuesday until the new tire comes in. Don’t be fooled by how accommodating they are while making a sale. It stops the moment you leave the door.
The sales team is the most friendly and knowledgeable about there product. Clean environment. Fair pricing!Update on 12/9/19 just bought a Volkswagen Jetta from Shaun Bradley and the experience was great. We were in and out same day with our new vehicle. Everything was super transparent. Very happy with this establishment.
I had a great experience with Scott and Josh at Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills. I purchased a 2019 Murano and was met with much professionalism and they made whats usually an agonizing experience into an experience I will share with others. I felt welcomed and like they really cared about my purchase as well as being satisfied from beginning until I left with my vehicle.
The price of an Oil Change skyrocketed to $65.00...That was a $20.00 increase from my last Oil Change at the same dealership. I faithfully have my Oil changed every 5,000 Miles. There were absolutely no customers there and now I know why! Two stars given only because service representative Alonzo was nice.
I was in a time restraint window trying to beat the thanksgiving holiday drive to the east coast. Kyle mentioned it MSU take some time. He respected the importance of my time and made things go smoothly and received my vehicle sooner. Kyle and his staff are very friendly and caring. Definitely would recommend seeing Kyle and staff again.
I wanted to express how amazing the sales person Brain and sales manager Lydia were. I called up and explained how I was helping a family friend with their car buying experience and that she was ready to come in but was intimidated by the buying process. They gladly sprang into action and found just the right car for my friend. Brian set a time for my friend to come in for a test drive and the sales manager Lydia worked out a better deal then we had received at another Nissan store over in Southfield. It was such a great experience for my friend and what impressed me most is Lydia called me right after my friend left with her new car to tell me my friend just drove away happy as can be!! I felt like I was dreaming. What amazing customer service. I plan to send all my friends to see Brian and Lydia! What a great team they make! Oh and my friend said she couldnt thank me enough for helping her find such great people to work with!! Great job guys!
From the Hello, welcome to Nissan Suburban of Farmington Hills... to getting in my car and driving away. My experience at this this dealerships service department was exceptional. My service advisor Ashlee made this experience possible from her cheerful helpful attitude to her knowledgeable advice on how to fix my cars issues. A truly fantastic experience.
Ive been going to this location for about 3 years now for all services and even a purchase. I am very very satisfied. The staff is always friendly and warm. There are always snacks available and water. I cant say I have ever been here more than an hour for an oil change. I shall return!
I had such a pleasant and positive experience here while shopping for my first car. My salesman, Brian Evans, went above and beyond to ensure I found the right car for me, along with the best deal. I have since moved to California, and he has still been very responsive and helpful in gathering everything I need to register the car in a new state. I definitely recommend the dealership!
It was great that they updated the software on my radio before replacing the part so that they didnt have to remove parts. the software updated fixed my issue. Contactless customer service was great! The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is that it would have been nice if they could have run the vehicle through the carwash before returning it. A little extra plus goes a long way to make customers feel special.
Just sub par. Been dealing with this dealership for 7 years now. There is nothing special about this place or their customer service. They dont make you feel like a valued customer at all in my opinion. I never feel good or that comfortable after I leave here. You know that happy, satisfied customer feeling? Yeah, I dont get it here for some reason. Service is always overpriced but to be fair I will say they have decent amenities in the waiting area. In short, I would not recommend this dealership to any of my friends or family because were not thrilled with them and I dont think anyone I know would like this place either ☹️
The service was wonderful. I was notified via email that I needed service. I spoke with Ashlee, the service coordinator about an appointment. She told me to bring it in on Monday morning. Over the weekend I received a reminder to bring the car in on Monday. When I brought the car in she greeted me and told me that she would contact me if there were any issues and would let me know when my car was ready. I received a call indicating that the car was ready and that there were no issues. When I picked the car up she was there with the keys and a big smile. The whole experience was very pleasant.
Had an great experience today! Got a new car within 2 hours right there. Definitely would recommend everyone to see Byrant Thomas as a consultant. Hes the best consultant Nissan has. This is my second car that Bryant has sold me and he always makes the process easier and gets you the best deals!
I went to look at new cars at this dealership and I was greeted by the salesman Brian Evans he was kind and very knowledgeable. He was not pushy like most other places I have went to. I highly recommend going to see him if you are looking for a new car. Great prices and especially great salesman!
Always have a great experience with this dealership when I get my car serviced. Was greeted immediately when I came for my service appt., shuttle service took me to my work which is nearby, and my car was ready when promised. The service people are friendly and if you have any questions, you can text or call them. They make the whole service experience easy.
Ross is awesome salesman. He did not waste our time in negotiation. I think we got a decent deal on lease. The office closes at 9 PM but they waited till 10 PM until they finished our lease paperwork. I would certainly recommend Suburban Farmington Hills to my friends.
To start, I went to this dealership looking to trade in my Nissan truck about a year ago. They condescendingly told me they dont sell Nissan trucks. One look out of their window and I saw three for sale in the lot. Recently, a family member went to look at cars and found some on their website before going in. The lady didnt want to waste her time with him and told him that those cars werent for sale anymore even though they were clearly still in the lot. I called in after I was told about the incident and the salesman told me that those cars were still for sale and he wasnt sure why she had lied. So we went in to look at and purchase one of the cars. The lady that had told us they were no longer for sale played dumb when our salesman told her they were. The salesman was helpful, but after the car was purchased we had to bring it right back in for a recall to be performed. After sitting in the lot for 3 months nobody had thought to do the recall work on it until after the car was already purchased and driven off the lot, and it had already been certified to boot. Also, the car was sold with the gas almost on empty, which is ridiculous, and we were only given one key instead of two like what is normal practice for a dealership. After calling about getting another key we were told that is never done and we were never called back. HORRIBLE SERVICE and customer relations after giving them our money. My father was going to purchase a new Audi from there soon, but after this experience that dealership can say goodbye to their $60,000+. Why do some dealerships pretend like they are so much more high class and important than they are? It shouldnt be that difficult to be nice and accommodating to the customer, but I guess at Suburban Imports of Farmington Hills, it is. They dont care about you unless you have $100,000 to spend on a car and are oblivious to the fact that they are ripping you off...
I love this dealer they always are friendly and customer oriented. They are always knowledgeable and reasonable whenever I have an issue and they do great work. Also they have a lovely waiting room thats child friendly by far this is a great place to service your car.
I work for Nissan and I bring my company car into this Dealership because of the prompt service and Kyle! He always takes care of my car and I never have a issue with communication he calls me once it’s done and has a shuttle pick me up when I ask for it! Great service and Kyle keep up the GREAT work!
My experience at Suburban Nissan was very pleasant and informative. The employees there were helpful and cooperative. They were willing to research other types of car which match my income in order so that I could purchase a more affordable vehicle. The manager Lydia Reed was knowledgeable regarding the inventory of available cars, the financing processes, and having the vehicle ready for me in a timely manner. I will highly recommend Suburban Nissan to my friends and family.
Bryant Thomas and management were excellent in helping get the car I need for the price I want. Their customer service was remarkable, and I truly feel grateful for the help and assistance provided in such a short time. They were diligent and did not waste anytime! I would highly recommend working with them to purchase your next vehicle!Anthony K
Had a hassle free experience with my sales consultant Brian Evans and the sales manager Lydia. They helped me select the vehicle that fit in my budget and went along with my wants and needs for me and my son. I would recommend this dealership to anybody and I plan to be a customer for many years to come.
Highly recommend this place! The staff is super nice and helpful. Brian Evans was the guy that helped me and he was wonderful. He went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. If there was any concern I had he made sure that everything right. I love my Nissan Sentra Im driving and most importantly, I feel safe in this cold winter weather!
I have been to other nissan service centers as I have moved few times within last couple of years and suberban Nissan has been the poorest performer, not is job performance but general service.I was there for my regular oil change service, and my car was not washed. This was the 1st time my car did not receive a wash after oil change service.2nd time I was at the service center for replacing light bulb and changing my cars battery, the job was performed to my satisfaction but within next two days my car noticed me of service is due.I was like cant the person who assisted me suggest me by looking at my miles and let me know that my oil change is due shortly and do I aant to get it done as well? I could have done that as well with the assisting person just looking for additional details.
Maggie (Magdalyn Ward) was my sales consultant. She was very patient with me. Went over every single detail and answered all my questions. She was very friendly and easy to talk to. I have dealt with many sales representatives and I must say she is the best. She got the paperwork done very efficiently and made sure the entire process was stress free. Explained what was going on every step of the way. Sat patiently in the car with me once the paperwork was done to go over all the features and made sure I was satisfied before she left. I would highly recommend this dealership and would definitely ask my friends to see Maggie for any help they needed.
What can I say when I first started coming to this dealership it wasn’t up to my satisfaction at all!!!! But ever since I started coming back last June and meet Kyle my service advisor I’ve fallen back in love with this Service Department! Kyle has my best interest at heart and takes care of me and even makes sure my car is washed up and clean! Thank you so much Kyle for always taking care of me!!!Diane
Great experience with my 2nd vehicle here at Nissan Suburban. Bryant and Lydia (Sales Manager) are excellent - warm and welcoming every time you see them. They beat the best deal i had got and also offered me an upgrade (Midnight edition on my new Rogue looks cool). I havent heard of anyone who has got a similar deal. I wish all the best to both of them and keep their good work on-going. Till next time!
Very disappointed in the way my time was wasted. Made an appt to test drive an A6 and after sitting for 30 min was told it is being serviced. So i made another appointment for the next day at 12:30. Sat for 30 min and it never showed up so i left.During the original appointment they appraised my trade in. Sales guy promised to text me what the apprasial came back at and never did. Will be buying an A6 or A7 within a couple weeks but not from you.As i typed this review up the sales guy called and left a voicemail apologizing which i appreciate so i deleted his name from this review and raised this review from 1 star to 3. Nice enough guy and i appreciate the voicemail but still this is no way to do business.
I wanted to talk to the mechanic who was going to work on my car and service writer told me that I can not talk to him. This is the only dealership i have seen where customer can not talk to the mechanic. Service writer has no technical knowledge about the vehicle. I think management needs to find a better service writer who has knowledge and customer service skills. I am not going back there again.
Excellent service at the time of purchase. Shaun Music was very helpful and patient with our purchase. He got us a great deal. We had transactions after the purchase too, and we were taken care of. It was easy to see that this type of service was offered to everyone.
I just purchased a 2019 Rogue Sport from this dealership and wanted to share that my experience was extremely positive. The sales agent Bobby aka Robert Lundwall, was very professional. Ive dealt with other dealerships that make you wait and before reaching a price, you get passed from one salesman to the next, to ultimately the manager, but not the case here. Bobby was able to handle the entire transaction and everything was upfront and direct, which I very much appreciated. Chantel also took care of me, by taking the time to review all the features of the vehicle. It was extremely cold and snowy, but that didnt stop them from providing great customer service. Thank you. I recommend this dealership. PS My new Rogue Sport drives great!
Desiree Madden, thank you for making my car purchase an absolute pleasure. Thank you for doing all the heavy lifting so i could just walk in and grab my keys! Moving into a new home and buying a car in the same week is crazy but you made it a piece of cake! Thank you for the wonderful experience and my beautiful car, I LOVE IT!!Thank you Brian Plauman for the swift finance services and for the lowest rate available!!Thank you Mike Rogers for the best price on a great vehicle, I appreciate you working with me!
I have previously experience with Nissan dealership, though there is always issue with dealership. But my recent service issue being solved by Nissan Head Quarter where specific one issue being raised to them and they intervene in that.Their follow up system really good, they keep me posted on my incident progress and how they going to solve the issue. Finally I send my vehicle for repair and it got fix.Service department also arrange the lone Cecile for me and I thank to all specially KyleI give my special thanks to Brandon Wiles from Arbitration SpecialistCustomer Quality Nissan North America, Inc.for his super services.
Suburban of Nissan is a good place to purchase your new Nissan Vehicle. Bryant my salesperson is good fast and to the point. For my last lease, I did not have to wait long to get my process done, the vehicle was ready and waiting when I got there! Thank you Bryant for the fast service.
I had a very nice experience dealing with BRYANT THOMAS. I got the car that I wanted, the color that I liked, and at a very good price that the other dealers were not willing to give me. The process of leasing went fast and smooth. I would recommend him to my friends without any hesitation.Stefan Nedelea
Ive had my ups and downs with this dealership. When I first purchased my new Nissan (2011) the service department wasnt great (someone in service even went so far as to change my name in their system when I complained about a car issue so I wouldnt get a survey or calls) but since then, Ive had really nice people helping out in the service department. My only real issue is the car itself and theres nothing that the dealership can really do about that except try to fix it as its falling apart. While great when brand new (except for my rusty exhaust I complained about and later had to replace) the car turned into a senile old man in a few short years and recently kicked the bucket at the age of 7. So while the dealership is fine and tried to help me where they could, I would never in a million years purchase another Nissan.
One of the worst people I have seen my life. I selected one used car and I told them that, I can get the loan from the bank I have account. They told they have the tie up with my bank and they can do all the processing from the dealer itself. I agreed with that. Next day I called them many time, but they did respond, evening they called and informed that, my loan is in progress. It was a Friday. Saturday I went to meet them and waited for three hours to meet the sale manager. Finally he told that my bank is not approved the loan and they selected another financial institution with a higher interest rate. It was quite surprise to me. Bank manger already mentioned that he can give the loan to me. Since dealer already started the process he told to wait (else two time pulling the credit score is not good for me). I didnt have any option to go to bank due to its holiday. I requested them to wait till Monday so that I can go and meet the bank manager. They didnt agree with that. They were pushing me to go with the high interest rate loan. I was not able to go with the higher interest rate. Finally I dropped the purchase plan.
Shaun Music and Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills was a pleasure to work with. I bought a used vehicle that I found an issue with the day after I bought it. I called their management staff and they took my vehicle in right away and took car of it in the best way possible. I appreciate everything that they did for me!
I bought a used vehicle from them a few weeks ago. I am happy with the vehicle overall and the price I paid. We did finance through them and I have to say, their rates were pretty awful compared to other dealerships I talked to, but this wasnt much of a concern in my particular situation so we used them anyways. Here is my issue with the whole deal. 5 days after purchasing the vehicle we drove it about 45 minutes, almost all on the highway, to meet my sister-in-law and drop off her kids. We shut the vehicle off and left the doors open for about 7-8 minutes while we switched car seats and said goodbye. When I got back in, the battery wouldnt crank the engine over fast enough to start it. The battery went dead from the interior lights being on for less than 10 minutes on a nice spring day! I have quite a bit of automotive knowledge and experience and I find it quite difficult to believe that this battery went from fully charged to the point that it could not start the vehicle when I left the doors open for less than 10 minutes on a nice spring day, but they did not have any issues with it while spending, I would imagine, MUCH longer with the doors open while vacuuming and detailing the interior not long before. I have a strong suspicion that the dealership had drained this battery to the point it would not start the engine at some point while it was in their possession but they just decided to put a full charge on it and hope it would be good enough to get the car sold. What really makes me upset though was that I looked at, and bought, the vehicle with my wife and 15 month old son with me and made it clear on multiple occasions that it was for my wife to drive my son around in. Luckily I was there when the battery became an issue and my sister-in-law was able to offer us a jump start, but they could have easily left my wife and young son stranded in a dangerous situation over a $100 battery, probably quite a bit less even for them.I did see another review on here, among the 4-5 I read, that said the battery went dead a few days after buying a used vehicle from here. Coincidence? One has to wonder. Good luck finding an honest car dealer, but if that is what you are looking for, from my experience, this doesnt appear to be one.
After having a terrible experience at Tamaroff Honda I decided to go with a different make, model, and dealer. Everyone at Nissan were friendly and helpful. My experience there from beginning to end was great I had my 5 year old daughter with me and a team member brought her an activity kit to work with. I am glad that I decided to get my new car from them.
Came in for a Oil Change and Kyle took great care of me and even made sure my fluids were filled and sticker was put in my windshield since they forgot last time! Kyle even had my car washed as well! A+ All the way around! And will be telling my colleagues about the great service here!!!
Nissan Pathfinder service at Suburban Nissan of Farmington HillsI bought this SUV over three and half years ago and since then I have been going there for all my services and recalls. All employees are all very kind and polite. Ashley at the service desk was very helpful and knowledgeable. Alanzo, helped me with other services several times.I was only notified when service was completed. John and Bob who work there dropped me home before the service and picked me up from my home when car was ready. George and Bob are the friendliest people at this location. :)Great service!
I want to thank Brian Evans (Sales Consultant) for the best experience in a car dealership ever! He was very patient with me and took the time to figure out the best deal for me and to explain all the new technology in my new car!! Brian and Scotte Spencer (Finance Manager) make a great team. I will definitely recommend this team and dealership to my friends and family!

2022-07-10This one was ok, last time I told them about an issue with my door locks. Where they intermittingly open or lock the doors. They said they were fine but they still dont work. They didnt want to listen to me about the issue and just said it was good. Also, I have had service plans at other dealers and it included a tire rotation, this place does not. I am disappointed with that. As well as the no loaner. This dealership is quite a long drive from my house, just a little help with service taking any amount of time would be nice. If you cant give me exact time I have to stay there, offer a loaner.

2022-03-08Checked car out pretty quickly but I think they just did diagnostic test on car locks didnt actually try see if they physically worked. I should be able to lock the door and unlock by having key fob close and touching the door handle. It does not work and they said it did.

2022-06-05Mike rogers is the absolute best. He works hard at getting his customer’s what they want! My husband’s process of getting his Golf R was as smooth as it could possibly go, all because of him!

2022-06-15My salesman, Brian Evens, worked very hard to find the exact car I wanted. The entire transaction from start to finish was quite easy.

2022-03-14Great service. Their valet service, where they get the car from your house and drop it off is wonderful! Ashley is super helpful as well. I have been coming here for years and trust them fully.

2022-06-14Made an appt for an oil change and tire rotation last week and was quoted $80 to $90. Then was told for the appt it would be $115, and the tire rotation alone was $30, and they increased prices 2 weeks ago. Thats a 50% increase for the tire rotation alone. The woman I spoke to was so soft spoken I couldnt understand her at all. And she told me its just a $25 difference for the service I needed. No thank you.

2021-07-14First off I want to say thank you to Suburban Nissan of Farmington Hills for restoring my faith in Nissan. I made the mistake of going to two other Nissan dealerships when I should have just came here first. The process was smooth and simple. Shaun Bradley was our salesman and he was amazing. No BS, worked out what we wanted and helped every step of the way. From the sales floor to financing, everyone was awesome. Thank you for everything!!

2022-05-10Every time Ive walked in here which is twice in the past week you stand in the lobby for about ten minutes because nobody greets you or asks if you have been helped. For a place that is supposed to sell cars they sure act like they dont want to sell any.
