This place was difficult to stay. Blood on the mirror, blood on the walls, and a constant beep (probably from a smoke detector that needed batteries). Talking with the front desk didnt do any good. When we did, it really seemed that the guy didnt care. Im a Wyndham Gold member and picked this place on purpose. All summer Ive stayed in Wyndham hotels. This was the worst one, by far! If you have a choice, choose another hotel.
$150 for a king bed suite with a jacuzzi tub. Room was big. Microwave, mini fridge. Lazy boy and a love seat. Outdated furniture. Lots of holes in walls, wallpaper peeling. Bathtub had chunks missing. Was afraid to use jacuzzi. TV on a swivel mount but could not swivel all the way because the cord was short, also held together by electrical tape. Fire hazard! TV remote did not have the back part to hold the batteries in.Uncomfortable bed sheets, made me itchy. Man at front desk didnt say 2 words to me at check in. Bed was hard. Never coming back.
We contacted facility beforehand ensure that pet is allowed, front said it is allow but didnt notified us there will be additional fee. Room wasnt clean at all, there was empty bottles, foods in the fridge, smoke detector was removed, and room smells like huts. Room door hinge was broken, we had to lift the door in order to close door. Will never visit here again.
I dont like to write bad reviews. Id rather voice my concern to the business, with hopes they can make improvements. Unfortunately, that does no good with this company. We have stayed at Motel 8 before, so we know.....you get what you pay for, and sometimes its worse. They say no smoking (Im not a smoker, anyway ), but the place reeks of smoke, and there are cigarette burns in the comforters, and the place looks like its falling apart. There are a lot of shady characters as well.The reason for my review, is no customer concern. I went to use the blow dryer, and it nearly caught my hair on fire, and then burnt out. I went to tell the night clerk, and he was not concerned, and said he did not have a replacement? He didnt even bother to look.He then came to the room, with a blow dryer , and was not nice at all. I asked him where he found it, and he saidd......somewhere.So obviously, they dont care about their customers, or mind if they get bad reviews.This is just to inform you before you decide to stay.
Late shift guy was super nice. Liked that there wasnt carpet in room. But bathroom had something black growing in tub and toilet was broken in multiple ways. Also be warned that there were homeless people living there who were partying outside. While checking in we saw several of them angrily screaming at each other while one held a machete in a threatening way. (yeah, cant make this stuff up!) They also allow dogs; one of which made it so we had to move rooms. Still, for the price and comfort of the bed it may be a good option for those who just need a place to put their head down for a few hours while on a budget.

Booked a room for one night and the experience was horrible. First, I was given a room that stinks very bad, the room was never cleaned and I could see lot of mosquitoes. changed to a different room - this time the room was not stinking but the door was broken, AC not working and bathroom was not clean. Never again with Super 8.
Overpriced and outdated. Front desk staff arent that pleasant nor accommodating. Elevator doesnt work properly. Housekeepers were very nice and the beds were comfortable. Electrical outlets need updates. Cracked floor tiles in hallway needs to be properly secured before someone gets hurt and fall. Came back to room hearing the sound of water looked in bathroom and it was literally raining water from the fan in the ceiling everywhere and moved to different room.

This is not a place to go to if you value your peace. There were ladies arguing in the hallways all night and my room was not dusted. The window was broken on the 3rd floor. Lamps didnt work. I go to many Super 8s around the US and this one was the worst. Beds were hard and it looked like a crime scene on the uneven wooden floor. The only good was the 40inch t.v. and the bathroom was clean.
Way to go Super 8 front staff to turn it around! The woman ended up moving my room and was pleasant about it. Today she was very accommodating to to ask the guy to make sure my room was ready.
Absolutely disgusting. The room was dirty and falling apart. The curtains were broken, light fixtures in the bathroom falling off the wall, missing light bulbs, broken TV...I could go on and on. The staff was extremely rude as well. Unless its a very last resort, dont stay here.

The Hotel was clean; the staff was pleasant and quick to respond to our needs. The price was reasonable. They have microwaves and personal coffee makers in room; they can upgrade the comforters although I never use them in hotels. There is train tracks nearby but if you dont open the windows it wont disturb your sleep. They have breakfast from 6-9 am and washer and dryers available. If you are traveling and need a place to rest overnight it is a good stop.
The front desk staff was very friendly and the room was surprisingly clean! I was very skeptical coming in because there are horrible reviews on Hotels.com, but I was pleasantly surprised! I absolutely love that there isnt carpet and that shower is clean! This is a first for me with rooms that are under $100 a night.

Nice place for the price. Bed clean. Hot shower. Direct tv. Desk and chair and fridge. You can come here to get some sleep. Person above me was stomping or freaking out all night idk I was to sleepy too care lmao. Otherwise nice stay.
The lady at the check in desk was very pleasant and helpful...the bed was comfortable...the shower had plenty of water pressure... weve stayed here before and would again..
It was clean, it was old, fit and finish?🤣. I didnt expect much for $75, but it was definitely low income accomodations. I wouldnt stay there again, but if you dont want to spend any money, I guess you can deal. Its just slum village.
I been here for bout 4 days gonna stay for a week most likely stay for a week I have no complaints at all its a great hotel much better than red roof inn great room direct TV had a upstairs room very convenient by all these nice restaurants love the fact it right by the mall prob the best hotel I ever been prob gonna be here for a while I notice on here that ppl complain about some petty things kinda ridiculous like one person complain cause ppl were partied til 2 in the morning out back like are u kidding me? This was a spot to sleep for a few hours before we got back on the road, if I wasnt so tired I definitely would not have laid my head down there. Upon inspection of the bed, looked like someone walked on in their shoes and did not bother to clean off, the floors had not been swepted, sheets and pillow cases were dirty with spots. Very dingy lighting. Mold in the bathroom. Not worth the cost of $69.99 a night for double beds or any size in that matter. Very disappointed in my accommodation.
They give you a good under matnice and dirty except the beds charge you for room and 50 dollars for room and tell you there keeping your deposit because room smell s like smoke .even thow you dont smoke.crooked place.i would not ever stay there again.
Was a great nights sleep and fun. Took the kiddos for a little getaway, jacuzzi tub was great the place was clean a spacious! Only disappointment and reason for 4* not 5 was the breakfast. Apples were warm, and bruised up as well as the yogurt just sitting out not iced or refridgerated

It was decent. Glad I got a hot tub room for a good price, but the toilet was leaking from the back and kept making weird sounds the whole night. Also the breakfast had barely anything, and they wouldnt even let me take my food to my room. I dont feel like sitting in a cold chair eating around strangers watching the news. I want to enjoy my food in the comfort of my room. Its early and Im tired. It makes no sense why I couldnt bring it upstairs. If I can order food from somewhere else and eat it in my room, or bring personal food to my room, then why cant I bring the continental breakfast to my room??
Clean rooms and friendly staff. The first room I was in had a problem with the air conditioner. The front desk staff moved me to another room. The AC in the 2nd room worked great.
The room is not real clean and coffee pot didnt work, plus there was a hole in the door plus drawers broken off. Sheets had finger prints on them. So for maybe a low end quick rest maybe but for what they charge per day not worth it!!( and no pool or hot tub.
When I arrived the grass was a foot tall, shouldve just left, but I had a reservation and didnt want to pay a penalty night. The room cleanliness was acceptable but barely. The remote was busted up and held together with electrical tape. Giant patch on bathroom ceiling looked like it was done by a blind chimp. My door appeared to have been busted down at some point and was very hard to lock. Total lack of electric outlets bedside, and the fridge was plugged into the lamp. On a positive note, the night clerk was friendly and courteous, and the bed was very comfortable. Almost forgot, charges did not match reservation details at check-in, and I booked directly with Wyndham app.
Our room was dirty. Not enough towels. Broken furniture and it looked all hodge podged like someone went to all the garage sale to put end tables into our rooms. Got reprimanded in the AM for trying to take my breakfast to my room to eat (while I got ready for check out and away from the TV that was playing the news and Ive made a vow to NOT watch any news program because of all the lies, propaganda and disrespect...). Lack of items to eat. Bed was comfy and jacuzzi tub worked great. Made a complaint gave all my info and nothing ever came of it... waited 2 months before posting my review to give them a chance to make up for it and since they havent its time for me to be honest.
I could tell the rooms had been updated by the smell that lingered in the room (not pleasant whatsoever). There was a patched hole in the wall in our room that hadnt been repainted. There was a used wash cloth hanging from the shower. The tub had black around the edges so there was no way I was taking a bath. The shower head was nice. There were only two bath towels, two wash cloths (not including the used one previously mentioned), and one hand towel. There were two adult women in the room. Four towels and two hand towels would have been nice. All morning long it sounded like someone kept hitting the door and door handle so it wasnt a peaceful nights rest. Also, it was lucky my sister brought her own pillow because there were four pillows (most king beds come with five and sometimes extras in the closet). The a/c was set on 60 but it didnt feel very cool and it also had a damp feeling. Upon check out there was a line of four people in front of me and no one was at the desk. Come to find out the desk lady was outside smoking a cigarette. When she came in she said Im coming Im coming (very rude!).
At first the Tv didn’t turn on. The smoke detector was disconnected. The smell was horrible. And on top of that, we paid for a week, however, they put it in the computer wrong therefore we had to leave a day earlier and did not give us our money for the night we paid for that we couldn’t stay.
The customer service was completely awful. Everyone who we dealt with at the front desk was not very helpful at all. We waited until after 12pm to come back to our room to get ready for a wedding & it still wasnt clean. There were mens chest hair left in the tub & around the toilet. The towels are like sandpaper. In the early mornings, all we heard was banging of doors. The bedding & mattress/pillows were so cheap & uncomfortable. They also charged my card an additional $50 deposit fee without me even knowing it. It has YET to be charged back to my account. I will never be wasting my money at this hotel ever again!

I was disappointed because I thought I purchased a room with a jacuzzi....nonetheless, the beds and tables were dirty and sticky. The top cover had white stains 😭😭! The shower was the best part tho 💯👌🏽. I requested extra towels and pillows and they never came. Overall experience was okay I guess. I most likely won’t return though💯
The front desk is a sweet heart , room was very clean and organized. Also the fact that there’s wooden floors instead of the carpet makes it 100x better and easier to breath. Coming back soon.
Definitely a place to consider for the price. Its on par as red roof, except you have to go through interior hall way to get to your room instead of from outside. Had a few maintenance issues in my room but it didnt interfere with my stay. Decor was nice and the room was clean. Beds are a little high but they were comfortable. Few maintenance issues.
The common areas and our room were dirty and in major need of some updates. When we pulled the sheets down in the bed there was grass and fuzz which looked like they may have possibly not changed the sheets after the last guests. The room was supposed to be non-smoking but they were cigarette burns on the bathroom and even on the bed sheets. The staff was friendly enough, but I likely wouldnt stay here again.
Disgusting holes in was room dirty toilet didnt work. Light fixtures falling of walls. Exposed wiring on exterior of building. Exterior doors locks are broken. No ice machine. Lady bags ice from machine then turns it off she said. Air/heating unit in room had no covers. Cigarette burns everywhere. Going home and bleaching all my clothes never again.
Warm, clean and neat. Roomy and there was a small desk to set up my computer, as well as a microwave and refrigerator. I dont watch TV, but there was a large flat screen TV. I was more interested in the internet, there are multiple routers to sign into, so signal is good anywhere in the building.The staff are friendly and knowledgeable, I was able to extend my stay without any complications. Breakfast is 6 to.9 am, and there is a Bob Evans restaurant across the parking lot, no highways to cross.I dont have a pet, but they are pet friendly and allow pets with an additional deposit.I have enjoyed my stay and hope to stay here again when I am in the area.
The room was gross, the air conditioner smelled disgusting and needed to be changed, and the house keeper who was also at the front desk when we checked out walked in on us having sex 40 min before check out. Didnt knock or say house keeping and we were making quite a bit of noise. Just walked in on us and didnt seem to care.there was a do not disturb sign on the door as well. Wtf

The room was clean, but lacking in some items (ie toilet paper). The service was friendly and prompt, but somewhat careless- initially, i was sent to a room that was already occupied and which my keycard didnt open. The clerk did get me to he right room following that mixup, at least. Overall, my stay was satisfactory, and the price was appealing, but theres definitely some corners cut here.
Place was a DUMP for the 5 nights I stayed.Fridge froze everything, even at warmest setting. Black mold in shower and the fridge. Lamp on nightstand had the socket repaired (dangerously) with duct tape. Seriously! Smoke detector was hanging by the wires a foot from the ceiling. Both beds had mattresses that were worn out, tags from 1994, and numerous cigarette holes burned in. Room never cleaned the entire stay. Towels were swapped out and trash taken out was all that was performed.Do not stay here! EVER!! Place should get a Negative Star Rating because its that bad.
Horrible, the room was half way clean but as soon as I walked in I saw a dirty butter knife on the chair. The bathroom door would not shut, the alarm clock would not stop making noises until it was unplugged, and to top it all off I went to go get breakfast for my kids like I normally do and was told I was not allowed to take food into the rooms. I proceeded to throw the food out that I had already prepared for my kids and the hotel worker said dont throw it out, he took the food from me and proceeded to eat it in front of me.
Fridge doesnt work. I told them theyve done nothing. I can stick my finger from the inside of the room out the door frame if I wanted and not to mention the sweet bathroom door thats literally swelled up nd falling apart
Located close to the armory where I was drilling. Nothing overly special but the rooms were clean and there was a continental breakfast (always a plus). The price was about $66 a night after tax. The walls are paper thin so youll hear everyone on your floor. Heard quite a few fights and children. Its an okay place to stay with Dennys and a Bob Evans within walking distance.

Ive stayed here 4x in the past 18 years. Comfortable, large beds, but the rooms arent kept up...peeling paint, etc. for inexpensive lodging in a pinch, this is a good choice, however. They offer a Continental Breakfast from 6 to 9am, daily. Nothing fancy, but a decent choice of hot or cold cereals, freshly made waffles, juices, fresh fruit, yogurt cups, coffee, tea & milk. For a better choice there is a DENNYs Restaurant located right across the street & a BOB EVANS Restaurant, right next to the motor inn.
Horrible experience, dont stay here. I came here with my robotics team and everything was going badly from the start. We found a knife, bloodstained sheets, and hair in one of the rooms. There was mold in the showers, cards only sometimes worked, and the alarm clocks were broken. Service was extremely slow (and at one point asleep)! One of the bathrooms flooded and there was water dripping from the ceiling into the breakfast area while people were eating. Oh yeah, and there were holes in the wall to make room for the door mechanism that broke later. (See pic)

I got one room. The toilet didnt work. The housekeeper told me she told the maintenance guy but he hadnt worked in a few days to fix it. So she told me to put water in tge back of the tank to flush it. I called front desk and asked for a discount or a different room. They switched me rooms. The remote didnt work for cable in the new room. Front desk gave me a remote and told me to program it because maintenance guy wasnt coming in. The directions wouldnt work to program it. I asked for another pillow and she gave me a hard time about another pillow and I didnt like the way she talked to me. Everytime I go to the front desk the lady is in the back with a baby or little girl playing nursery rhymes and not watching the front desk. I am not happy with my stay. The bed is comfortable
We came into the room expecting to sleep at 12am and we found hair in the sheets, mold on the wall, hair all over the floor in the bathroom, and a knife under our bed. There were 4 girls in the room and we had to share the one bed that we got clean sheets for. I am not exactly happy. I have photos if you need proof haha.
Desk staff was very helpful and pleasant and told me that there was a specific schedule for what housekeeping does on each day of the week. One day we had requested housekeeping to get fresh linens and have the bathroom and floor cleaned. What we got was the same sheets, unchanged, with floors and bathroom appearing untouched. However, we did have our regular--not plastic--silverware and packages of unopened plastic utensils that were on top of the fridge, and an extremely important piece of paper on the table next to the bed thrown away. We had to go through the trash that came from our room to find our sh--. BTW: housekeeping is supposed to touch up the whole room daily. Is the bathroom not part of our room? Christine Rasmussen
I now understand why its a low budget hotel. Outlets that dont work and some that do. Housekeeping unreliable to keep rooms efficiently clean. Blankets with cigarette burn holes remain in blankets and curtains. The continental breakfast they have here thru dont keep restocked much. Me and my gf were disgusted with the standards that have slipped away. We will not be returning back to this dump of a so called hotel again. The owners and super 8 companies should really take.a deep look into why this place is a disaster junk.
The hallways and the rooms smelled of smoke. They need better cleaning people, dirty!!! Hooker heaven, loud guest that staff did nothing about. Plumbing issues, strong smell of feces. Continental breakfast wasnt worth the stay.They also tried to collect double payment because their staff is too incompetent to collect funds, via debt payment.
The hotel was a good place to stay. It was very quite and relaxing for my one night stay here. The staff was amazing and very helpful. I would definitely stay here agian.
Youre greeted with smoke, halfway through the front door and its a smell that seemed to permeate the whole building. Nothing about this hotel says that the staff and its owners take pride in their business. My room had dust everywhere, small holes and scuffs in the walls, and wasnt thoroughly cleaned. I would no recommend this hotel to anyone.
No bed bugs is always a plus....a little outdated, but the bed was comfortable. Happened to stay here the night they were power washing the concrete right outside my room at 11PM. No military discount. Furniture and bedding was stained

Very unclean in main hallway. 2 different rooms, both with mold. Unpleasant oders throughout. Walls very thin, heard numerous doors open/close all night. Since its pet friendly, we heard dogs barking several doors away. Would not go back. Spend a few $ more somewhere else.
I would give a lower rating if I was able to but I guess the only thing deserving of the star rating to begin with would be the fact that there are both Dennys and Bob Evans within walking distance, and its a relatively cheap motel but thats about it. I would not recommend this place unless youre looking for somewhere to stay overnight, and I would suggest looking elsewhere if you want a room thats at least halfway decent with functional applicances.
This place needs to be shut down!!! Lets see where do we start??? The hallways are dim and creepy bc the lights are all broken. The frint desk lady asked is there still just one?She states it was completely dark the night before and they were supposed to fix two ligts...whoever They are...I check in and the room door wont shut..We get a new room and its already someone in the room clothes on the floor pizza boxes all over just dirty!!! At this point I want OUT!! The lady at the front desk says since I booked through a third party company I could not get a refund.She scrambles to find a room. Soon as we enter the now 3rd room we immediately see cigarette burns in the covers(yet its 100% smoke free hotel) and stains as well. Yeah stains on the covers!!! The walls are dingy the bathroom looks like someone just swept the floor. The paint is ppeling there is mold in the lamp shades by the beds. There is a hole in the shower ceiling but they just threw spackle over it to cover it so its a a yellow satin in the middle where the water leaks down. Never ever again!!!!!!! Gonna sleep in my clothes ita so disgusting in here. If my drive home wasnt so far I would just leave. Dont stay here unless you have no other chocie!
The staff at super 8 are very nice & courteousHousekeeping stays ontop of things & are also very nice & courteous. Ive stayed several times & its always been clean & quiet.

Dont go here. Place is a dump. Hallways reek of Marijuana. Rooms are trashy, beds are un comfortable, room has broken outlets and broken light bulbs. Was here for 4 days and room was not cleaned once and pepole fighting in the hallway every night. Well never come back. Doesnt even deserve a 1 star
It is one of the better hotels decent management. Make sure when you check in too add anyone to the room if you are not alone. My 18 yr old son left the room to go for a walk left his key in the room with his wallet. Even though he was right there with me checking in since I didnt tell them to add him to the room he was locked out for 19 hours until I got back from work. He left his phone in the room and of course the front desk didnt bother calling my cell to ask if he could get in the room. It was a rather upsetting thing to be at work for 19 hours, calling his cell and the room, as well as sending friends to the room knocking on the door, with no answer. I cant blame the staff for anything, but lack of sense for not calling the phone# given to them and poor observation because my son has the same unusual last name and is a younger Taller version. If it wasnt so rediculous and laughable I wouldve went balistic. But my son was as much to blame. Hope you enjoy the story and say hello to the management if you stay !!!!
Shower ceiling was all moldy looking ready to collapse. Other guest smoking cigarettes in the building so our room smelt of cigarette smoke. The window screen looked like it was pried open like someone was trying to break in. I will never stay here again. Shouldn’t be open due to it lacking in health code.
Old. Wood floor. Heater was loud went off every 6 min, finally had to turn it off. No full size mirror. Hall carpet was nasty dirty. Front desk girl was nice tho. Only stay there if emergency
Breakfast pretty standard with make your own waffles, cereal, packaged pastries, bread for toast, and bagels. The air conditioner could only get the room temperature down to 77 deg. F. Halls were warm too. I would rate it about a 3.5.
We had to cancel our stay due to a family illness. They refused to acknowledge our cancellation and tried to say that we were a no show. If this is the way they handle issues like this, I can only imagine how poor the service is at the hotel. I will not be staying at Super8 again due to this.
The bed was meh. It was lumpy and not particularly comfortable. Also the walls were thin and you could clearly hear people from all the way down the hall. The room was some what clean, atleast enough to be acceptable.
Very disappointed! Michigan was hit with a terrible wind storm yesterday, leaving thousands without power, including my family! So I started looking for hotels around 3pm I found the super 8 online for $51 a night, I decided to wait to see if our power would be back on. Around 6pm my husband returned from work and we went to the hotel, where we were charged $80 for that same room that just hours ago was $51! They also informed my husband they couldnt give him Military discount because they had suspended all discounts at the moment! THEY TOOK ADVANTAGE OF FAMILIES THAT HAD NO POWER! and the rooms were not even that nice, the heater/air conditioner in our room was literally falling apart!!!!!! Greedy greedy greedy!

Not looking clean, I had to switch rooms the first one smelled like an ash tray even though it was suppose to be a non smoking hotel. Staff was nice about it and didnt have an issue switching but I shouldnt have had to do it at all.
Been booking here for a while now! Great customer service, great employees!. The manager (Sean) always does a great job with helping me with my bookings! Sean is GREAT! Rooms are nice and clean quiet and safe. Nicely remodeled! Great location! Surrounded by Southland Mall and tons of other stores and restaurants.

There is no high speed WiFi as the place claims. It turns off by itself at random times, is very slow and its irritating and inconvenient for those of us trying to do school work.Not too clean. Room is dusty, found a dead Beatle when we got in here. Staff is okay just cleanliness and terrible WiFi
Rooms not like the picture. Not real clean, coffee grounds were still in the coffee maker frif the last person. No hand towels. Was not happy at all. Breakfast was a joke, it was some of this and some of that for breakfast
We are staying with our 2 children so we got a room with 2 beds. The room is insanely small, falling over each other to get around. I asked to have just new towels and She told me the best thing to do is leave up my do not disturb sign and bring down my towel to change at the desk. Not a problem but they are relaying the floor downstairs infront of the desk and breakfast area. No notice that monday breakfast was fend for urself day due to that whole area of the place is fenced off while under construction. Cant even get to the desk without going outside and all the way around the builded. Its winter time in the north, Im not walking all the way around in my jammies. When I put in for this hotel, I did it from their website, they could of said it would be under construction the WHOLE time. I should also add when we first got here we had to have light bulbs brought up and the fire alarm needed a new battery cause it was chirping. The light bulbs were MISSING. I HAD a handmade microwave potato bag that worked perfect at home but this one caught the end on fire. Noticed the glass tray was missing and the round peice that would be under the tray was melted... small fridge does not get vary cold at all.
This is the nastiest hotel i ever been tOO the set up wasnt good! the couches was dirty had spots on it i didnt even want to sit on it the toilet wouldnt flush DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR GAS AND TIME COMING HERE!
Like most people we were looking for a motel for the night dew to the power outage. So we started calling around everywhere we called was booked and they were all apologizing but didnt need to its not there fault. So I call super 8 the person who answered the phone was rude right from the start. All he said was we have no rooms and hung up on me. So I called the customer service number and was told by them that if im not a guest they cant do anything about it. So I guess its okay for the super 8 employees to talk to you anyway they want to as long as your not a guest.
We got the last room they had. It had not been cleaned well, garbage on the floor, scary elevator, noisy. Not impressed. Instead of giving any money back, they gave me a coupon for next visit...like I will ever stay there again!
Poor window view. Appliance was leaking water, needed defrosting. Refrigerator door wouldnt close. Lobby was opened right cup front too close to entrance door. Breakfast close too early at 9:00am.
Room was paid for a week and the hotel locked us out of our room one day early. Room was set for 9/2-9/7 and they locked the card on 9/6. It won’t allow me to upload a screenshot of the reservation even though it gives the option. Never again!!!!!!
Only thing I could stand in this hotel was the frunt row parking due to lack of customers. Walk into hotel slammed in the face with smell of pot. Nasty only reason I slept here was related to work. Pls pls if you have small children and for your own sake do not stay here.
Run down,phone not only didnt work, it was missing buttons. Tv was ok but the remote wouldnt work properly. Signs on the pop machines said use at own risk, no refunds. Wont stay again.
Key wouldnt even work even after he reprogrammed, my dogs and mom got attacked by another guest pet and he did nothing about it! The people next to us were loud and he also did nothing about it! And the room wasnt even clean! I know what a clean room looks like cause I used to work in a hotel!
My wife stayed here for one night because she had an interview in the area. She got bed bugs from the place, came home the next day, started swelling up, and has pink blotches on her arms, legs and face. Now were going to have to pay a pest control company $750 to treat our home over 5 weeks and possibly get rid of some linens and furniture. When I called Super 8 they told me theyd call back in 10 days and if they didnt, for me to just call them again. We wont be staying at a Super 8 again.
Dont pay with a credit card, use cash. Spent multiple weeks here and many times had to correct how they were charging the room. Many times seemed like they were being shady and trying to double charge
No breakfast and the rooms same price. Rooms are simple looked clean but I walked barefoot and my feet turned black so take that as u may
Nice clean staff is nice havent been up early enough to catch tht continental breakfast but I can say this the room was neat clean bed bug free and thats always a A+ for me cause them dam things are a nightmare so 👍👍to the super 8 I recommend to all tht want a clean and good night sleep to come and be comfortable
This hotel has a relatively good continmental breakfast but not a hot breakfast. Fortunately restaurants are very nearby. Bring your own sweetener and cream for coffee in your room. Not the usual for a Super 8.
Racism is something people inherit from their parents I mean how they can’t be proud 😂 Those house keeping ladies need to be on a leash and stay away from visitors they not their to talk to visitors if they have something to say they should discuss it with their manger and the manger can let the visitors know ,be professional if they can’t do their job right someone else can do it better !!!!thanks to the front desk staff for taking care of the problem and I hope they will educate their workers about what they should do while they at work as a house keeping u should only clean ur rooms and be nice and go home .anyways wish u all have great day!!!Trucker that passing by.
The first night there we had to change rooms because the AC was broken, we had to get a new microwave because the room they moved us to did not have a working microwave and the remote to the TV did not work. The front desk staff had horrible customer service and there were crack heads standing behind the hotel every night. This was a horrible experience and I dont want anyone else to go through this. Dont stay here!!!!
The floors are sticky as if you were in a movie theater, the shower didnt turn off so there was a constant dripping sound, and the air conditioner worked better when you switched it to off. If you wanted it off you had to unplug it.
Was the worst hotel I have stayed at! Will never stay again there was black mold on the wall in the bathroom and there were THINGS in our ice cubes then we had to sit for 45 mins to try to check out and get our deposit back will not recommend!!!!
A spiders nest fell from the curtain and they refused to move us to a different room and the hotel wasn’t even swept. Breakfast was good though.

This is my go to hotel when im traveling here, they have updated their rooms recently, and always very clean! I highly recommend, also it’s very quit and they front desk people are very nice

Dont go here! I was here over a month and i paid in cash to stay for 3 days and they took money off of my card for the same three days. After they finally admitted they made a mistake they decided to say nevermind they didnt make a mistake and wont give my money back. Almost 300 dollars.

Its shelter. Its not fancy or expensive...and the no smoking signs are just for fun. Walking distance to Dennys (across the street) and Bob Evans (same parking lot). They were there when we needed em...so, mostly good.

Dont have more than 2 people in a room because they only let you have 2 towels a day and heaven forbid one person uses both ,because someone isnt getting a shower. Cant believe that, I dont care how many towels a room needs it should be given

Stayed 3 nights party people above me sounded like they walked around till 5 am had a druggie wander around asking for pills not the cleanest hotel around and first night microwave didnt work no dials on it no phone in the room housekeeping barley made beds didnt change sheets or sweep or mop threw towels and washcloths on top of tolit shower was kinda dingy hotel it self isnt much to speak of plus the dont release your security deposit like they should without a fight kinda has a smell to the place garbage laying around ground and weeds everywhere wouldnt recommend it its also pricey when a lot cheaper for better environment

2022-02-21Me and my husband stayed here 4 nights . The man working said my husband couldn’t use a debit card to pay and made us use cash . & charged us $50 more than the original price. As soon as we walked in our room, I was so disappointed. Floors weren’t swept , walls were dirty , dressers were sticky. It was disgusting . We made those most of it and went to Walmart to buy cleaning supplies . I barely felt comfortable eating in the room , tried our best to stay out of the room besides night time . A lot of people standing around outside around the back as well. Never seen a housekeeper , didn’t get asked for room service once. Very low quality. Wouldnt stay here again . Ever.

2022-05-27Not impressed. The only reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 was because there at least didn’t seem to be any type of bugs in the room, be it bed bugs or roaches. Everything else was pretty bad. The bathroom was dirty and dingy. I had to clean the toilet seat before I was comfortable sitting on it. Luckily we only stayed one night, so a shower wasn’t needed, as I wouldn’t have stood in this one without shoes on still. The windows open all the way on the ground floor, but are not able to be locked, so safety was in question for sure. The chair at the table in the room was stained beyond belief. The sheets seemed clean enough, but the mattress itself was super dirty. The blanket on top of one of the beds had a cigarette burn in it, despite the room being non-smoking. The AC unit worked really well, but it was filthy and held together with packing tape. The lamp had built in outlets on each side, but was falling apart and also held together with tape, and seemed like a fire hazard while charging my phone. Definitelywould not choose to stay here again. If you can afford a different place in Southgate, go there!

2022-06-17The rooms were kinda clean. The floor was dusty, the bed skirt was all stained up, and the comforter had holes in it. The hotel allowed dogs which I had no idea. Was woken up by a barking dog and a woman banging on the door at 2am because her husband had a medical emergency and locked her out the room. Housekeeping never came the first day. Breakfast was only from 6am to 8am. Who gets up that early when you couldnt get proper sleep?? Oh yeah and the remotes for the AC and TV had no batteries!

2022-04-05Doesnt seem like the room was thoroughly cleaned. Along with hair and dust on the nightstand and floor, there was a hair tie on the faucet. Breakfast had only watered down coffee and danishes by 7:30 am. 6-9 am is the advertised time but it was clear the waffle batter was never put out and waffle machine was unplugged. There was no fruit juice available, either. Also, there was a random mattress in the breakfast area.

2022-06-21Positive: The room was clean Negative: Picnic table outside of my room had people loudly talking all night so I couldnt sleep well even though I told staff about it. They addressed it but it continued later down the night.

THEY HAVE BED BUGS , hadar the young guy that works front desk is the most rudest most cruelest person ever !!!! This place needs to be shut down !!!

2022-05-30The young man that runs the register Mexican guy with dark hair skinny guy was about the meanest person I ever met he lied about the food all the Mexicans like 50 or so came down and he made sure they ate first I asked him if he had anything else left and he said no I had nothing to eat that day because of him zero he had no personality very rude i will never come back i want my money back just because of hes rudness no food bed was nasty too food onfloor

2021-12-01Very quiet and safe. Needs to make sure windows lock from the inside though, but I like the freedom they offer by opening up all the way on the first floor. Mouthwash would be helpful, but the soaps are great and the room was so clean and comfy. Thank you! I hope I can stay here again some day. 🥰 Tv works too!!! So does the wifi. And good food nearby too!

2021-09-20The room were very clean, large & well maintained. The bathroom was nice as well. There was a mini fridge and microwave. The airconditioner worked well. I was a middle of the night check in & the front desk clerk was very polite & professional. I felt safe here, traveling alone.
