After scheduling months in advance, I was 15 minutes late to my appointment. They were rude, refused to see me, and said theyre scheduled until June (they did not ask if I wanted to reschedule)

The employees were extremely rude and I am back to wearing my old pair of glasses. I had an eye exam by my eye Dr, which I have been going to for 10+ yrs. I have always had my glasses made there but my insurance will only pay for my glasses if they are made at SVS Vision. I took my script to SVS and they made a pair of glasses. When picking them up I was told to call, they would bring them out to me. I called and was immediately placed on hold, after 20 min I hung up and went into the store. As soon as I put the glasses on I told her I was not able to see clearly out of them. Her response was to wear them for 30 days. I told her I couldnt see out of them. She huffed at me, slammed them on the counter, and told me I would have to see my eye Dr. My eye Dr. checked the prescription on the glasses. The bifocals were incorrect, the pupil distance was way off, and the seg was wrong They remade the glasses but I still am unable to see clearly out of them and am wearing my old glasses. I WILL NOT HAVE ANY GLASSES EVER MADE HERE AGAIN.
Extremely rude optomologist. I was rushed during the eye exam. Had tears running down my face from dilation, could hardly even see and he still rushed me. Sure hope my prescription is correct. Went in April 2015.
Dana is an awful person to speak to who can’t handle a conversation to make an appointment. Puts it on her other rude co worker they both kept insisting on curbside when I called for an appointment for myChild to be fitted. Laughing saying if I want an appointment I need to be nice??? When they were so rude
Everyone was kind and helpful. My daughter and I were greeted with smiles and a quick hello as soon as we entered the office. Every staff member was respectful, professional, and friendly the entire time we were there for my daughters eye exam. All of our questions were answered, we didnt feel rushed or like it was a bother to help us. Would recommend this office highly.
They messed my appointment time up leading them into their defense and explaining that reminders were sent to me via text, phone call, and email of which I did not receive any of them plus I don’t need reminders as I can manage my own calendar. Their next opening was in 2 months and I had already waited 2 months. Poorly handled.

Super nice staff. Optician Troy helped fix my rayban aviator at no cost. I walked in to the store with broken rayban frame and extra pair of replacement glasses which I had just purchased from rayban website but had no idea where to drive ce to put those on on frame. Troy fixed those for me in immediately and also refused to charge me for his time. You guys made my day. I didn’t have to drive long way to Ann Arbor or Detroit. I am going to be back again. Thank you

Drove by this place for years, finally scheduled an appointment they were quick, efficient and nice. Got what I wanted at a fairly reasonable price without hassle or difficulty. 5/5 Would recommend!
I went for my first pair of glasses and I thought the prices were a little high but, thats not what bothered me. They were just plain rude. The receptionist went out of her way to tell me that I was 8 minutes late. The optometrist was rude and pretty much everyone I dealt with there was rude. I went back 4 more times over the next 6 months and every time it was the same thing. Just an office full of A-holes
Its alright. I dont get my exams here bc I found a better place in Tecumseh but I have to get my prescription filled here. Fast on ordering glasses but staff is hit or miss. A few are more friendly than others.

Absolutely the worst experience of my life, 1st visit they ordered the wrong frames so they say they will fix it, 2nd attempt right frames but wrong lenses and again they say they will fix it, 3rd attempt wrong lenses again and this time they tell me itll cost me another $200 even though its all been their mistakes, why do i have to pay for their mistake?? i refused and left with unusable glasses, now ive gotta find a new place and start all over, also was treated very rudely.
I have never been to SVS Vision as a patient, however I did call and make an appointment. I was given a date in May for my appointment and was put on a call waiting list. The receptionist was pretty rude especially when she found out the type of insurance I have. I was called one day because they had a cancellation and I couldnt make that appointment so they cancelled the appointment I had in May and gave me an appointment in June.
They were very helpful from the time you walk in until the time you leave. Very kind and very nice people. The dr. Was thorough and made sure that you were satisfied.
The staff are eager to help you find exactly what you want. Office was clean and the atmosphere was calm and relaxing. The appointment went smooth and I would highly recommend SVS Vision Optival Center.
Dont be 5 mins lAte. Doctors will turn u away. B.s. just took daughter outta school. Said cant see her today after wife called and notified them. Dumbest policy in town. Too bad really liked the office people. New doctor for us. To bad already spent over1000s there

Dr. Lee and his staff were great, a very thorough exam and were not rushed in picking out frames even though we were the last appointments of the day.
I had an good time there. They where nice and friendly. The only problem they have is they only have one eye examiner so sometime you have to wait and they are backed up.

Everything about it was good. the Doc, the staff, the selection of eyewear. I got the transition lenses after a lifelong want.
The optometrist who set my glasses was short with me and I felt like I was a bother. And why dont you receive a micro fiber cloth to clean them with? Kinda cheap wouldnt you say. They dont have it together. They talk to much to eachother while I sat and waited to get my glasses.
SVS has been helpful in seeing again.the glasses are durable, and trendy. They have Candies and bebe eyeglass frames. Nice place.

Terrible experience. They are dishonest. Dont go to SVS. Your customer service department was no help at all. They did not resolve anything. They did not call when they said they would. We had to call them back and they were useless.

2022-05-27My appointment today was a very pleasant experience. Troy, the optician, was friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Dr. Lee was very thorough and explained everything to me. The front office staff was welcoming the moment I walked in the door. I have gone to SVS for awhile now and every appointment has been very good.

2022-04-083 weeks ago I purchased a pair of glasses, from SVS Vision. Got all the up-sells; Transition lenses, no line bifocals, Durable frames, and SCRATCH RESISTANT LENSES! Well today as I was cleaning them my thumbnail slips off the cloth, (that I had to ask for at the time of purchase) and scratches the lens. Yes, you read that right, my THUMBNAIL. Just so you know, I was not part of the Weapon X program, so unlike Wolverine there is no adamantium in my system. Just a regular old human thumbnail.. So I call. I am told that nothing is scratch proof and that they would be happy to sell (yep, sell) me a new pair of lenses at a 70% discount. To which I ask; What would that be after my insurance?. Oh no, they say; it will be 70% off regular retail. At this point, I am very unhappy. A fact that the person to whom I was speaking to seems to care not at all about. So I ask; well whats the cheapest I can get new lenses for?. $130. If I want to get them cheaper I have to come in. So I go in and at first I am told that the only reduction in price available is the removal of the transition package. So I say; well I dont want the scratch resistance. Cause, lets face it, that is a waste of money. Im given attitude. To which I reply; my thumbnail... Turns out that can be removed. So I ask about lined bifocals. Seems thats another up-sell, they were trying to get, AGAIN. That request is met with more attitude and a grumbling about thick plastic glasses... Heres the point; the metaphorical bridge down this SVS road is out! Poor quality, even worse service (with regard to problems). This is me, on the shoulder, waving you off. I wish negative stars were a thing...

2022-07-14I bought glasses that I paid extra for scratch resistant and they are all scratched up,paid 90.00 for contacts and they arent working out for my eyes,the eye doctor said to call if they didnt work the lady I talked to said I couldnt be reimbursed and there is nothing they can do I wouldnt recommend this place to any of my friends they should at least make it right it was my first time with contacts.
