My nails turned out AMAZING. Pedicure was alright with another tech… not enough massage. However, on my nails Paul definitely understood the assignment! Will be back to see him every single time :)
Went in for a set of acrylics and was in and out in 30 minutes...my nails look like they only took 30 minutes to do. They look sloppy. There is acrylic on my skin that i had to file off. The tips the tech (Lena?) put on my middle fingers arent even wide enough you can see my natural nail on either side. I may go back to see Paul as it seems he may be the only one who does a good job...but at this point Im not sure I want to risk wasting more money

This is good place to go in area. Employees are nice. They always try their best to satisfy costumers and make them happy. I love their pedicure with special 6 steps extra. I would say this is best in town. Keep up guys ! Thanks for staying with us.!!!
I love this place. Paul does my nails. He pays attention to details and listens to what I want. I usually bring pictures for inspiration and we come up with something similar and unique.
I love T&T Nails & Spa I been going there for 3 years( I had to take a break when I got pregnant) but Im back at it 😊). The rest of the staff is really good as well, when I get a pedicure I get whoever is available and been satisfied everytime.
Just when I was about to give up on nail salons as a whole this place has gained a loyal customer. Hall , (Hol) I think is his name did a really good job on my nails. The shop is clean and they are all very friendly. Came in as a walk in and was in and out within an hour. Good job T&T Nails Will definitely be back. 😊
Tony gave me a gel mani Ann’s plain pedicure I had to ask him to scrub my feet then my nail he cut my cuticles til 1 bled I told him he was hurting me. I have polish on my finger. Not satisfied AT ALL! I will NOT be returning I’m trying to post pictures. I gave 2 star because the polish is a pretty color
*Detailed Review as I’d like to consider myself pretty fair*#1 waxing experience: the lady who waxed my eyebrows was nice but did them uneven I had one eyebrow higher than the other (and I always get waxed so I know from experience this could’ve been avoided) but she also needed new tweezers the ones she used weren’t as sharp so she had to pull the same hair a couple times which left marks (that lasted about 2/3 weeks) from where it started bleeding at.#2 Acrylic nails: my nails were cute the guy did a seemingly good job, and I left a tip. BUT THEY DIDNT LAST TWO WEEKS.. when I go to Lys Nails on E 7 mile and vandyke they last 4 weeks minimum and NEVER POP OFF OR FEEL LOSE TO WHERE IT WOULD HURT MY FINGER IF SOMETHING HIT IT.#3 Pedicure: I got a pedicure with shellac, and although I’m happy they massaged my feet which made me feel great… the quality of the polish was not the shellac I’m used to. When I go to V.I.P Nails on E Jefferson Or Lys Nails my shellac basically has to grow off or get drilled off.. But at T&T nails ($2 cheaper than these places) it started chipping. If shellac is no chip, why is it chipping? And why could I peel the shellac off? Other places I couldn’t do that and it wouldn’t chip because the quality was better. We pay for shellac for a reason, and as high priced as it is to get nails+toes done.. quality shouldn’t be a issue. Friendly place.. but I’m not going here to make friends I’m going here for the quality of service and that’s what it lacked.

The Worst! Pedi was uncomfortable. She finished polishing my feet under the table at the mani station. Way overpriced! She didn’t even paint my nails the color I wanted. Will NOT be coming back. The only reason I went was because my usual nail salon was closed. Awful!!

Absolutely horrible place.they have no idea what they are doing . You have to explicitly ask them to remove cuticles while getting manicure. They are in so much rush to get you out to the store that the whole experience is compromised.

I get my waxing and sometimes a pedi here..They do welcome you when you come in but I get more waxing than any other service I feel they need to be more attentive to the wait time, dont just let the customer sit there I walked out on 4 different Occasions because everyone was doing nails or getting a pedi and I wasnt recognized I keep going back because I do like how the tech does my browsIt seems that the cheaper service the customer is not recognized atleast give a wait time than that customer can decide if they wanna stay or not.

I went in because they had a four star rating. I asked for black AND RED sparkly acrylics. The nail tech I had did not know what almond shape was and I had to show her a picture to semi get what I wanted. I got black and gold sparkly nails. Not black and red that I had asked for at least 10 times. The nail tech got annoyed when I asked her to fix the nail the was literally hanging off my nail bed. The pictures other people have posted look absolutely beautiful but I hate what I walked out with. The girl I had must have been training. I feel so bad leaving this review but I paid $75 and I’m livid not getting what I asked for when I tried to show pictures for what I wanted.

10/10 I was traveling for work and called everywhere looking for a nail salon that took walk-ins on a Friday. So glad I found this one!! Paul was my nail tech and he did an amazing job! Been going here for months now. The one that coughs did my nails about ten days ago and they hurt for three days after. Today, my nails are crumbling and the pinky nail fell off. So disappointed. This may be my last time going there, and he was rude, didnt care that he was hurting me.
I had acrylics done with gel today, and had such a good experience. Paul paid a lot attention to detail and I am very picky! He often checks in to make sure youre comfortable and that what hes doing looks good, really sweet man! Great service, worth the price. I will be going back for a fill.
I hate my nails this time. The lady would not do anything the way I wanted it and they are bulky and fat and ugly! I wanted thin and narrow with rounded tips and I kept asking her to find them and it was like pulling hair to get her to sort of adjust! I spent $50 and an hour and a half to have to get them redone tomorrow. Im not letting her touch my nails ever again! She even tried to pick the color which I really didnt like.
From the reviews and pictures online, this place seems great. Reviews say “very clean” ( that’s a stretch, it’s not dirty but not exactly the best sanitary habits) and the pictures of the nails from those reviews look incredible...However that was not my experience at all. I received a manicure with dip powder, not exactly the worse but certainly not the best Ive received. I probably could’ve gotten a dip kit and did this myself. Application was thick and not exactly neat, the nail tech didn’t file to even up my nail ( so it looks kind of lumpy), and After two days, the top coat peeled off.... I also received a pedicure, it was subpar, but my toenail polish was painted neatly. May possibly return for basic manicure and pedicure with regular polish or gel, anything else in my opinion isn’t worth it.
I have been coming to Tnt Nails since they opened. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants professional awesome looking nails. I think everyone here is the best they do my nails and has been doing mine for many years. I am always happy and satisfied and get so many compliments every time they do them. They have new management now. They add new deluxe, special deluxe pedicure. It made my feet get softer and feel better. I would recommend to all my friend. For my nails, I just showed them pictures and they just do exactly similar to it. It was very cool experience with great service and atmosphere.

I would never recommend anyone to go to this establishment. They over charge and they do not follow their own price board. They are not clean in terms of going to one customer to the next. Many of the techs dont have proper training. They also do not clean up the nails when they finish. You have to constantly tell them what to do so that you dont have excess polish on your skin. Very unprofessional.

I have been coming to this nail salon since 2016. Always had a pleasant experience and the owners were always friendly. Since the Covid they closed down. Once the ban was lifted I decided to go get my much needed pampering. To my surprise there were new owners. A little apprehensive since Im a creature of habit. I decided why not. From the time I entered I was greeted immensely told how long wait would be. Which was actually shorter than said. Always a good thing. Paul was my nail technician. He was warm, friendly, and did an AMAZING JOB!! And after 2 months of neglect. He went above!! So with that change is not all bad. Thanks again!!
They have 3 different choices for pedicures. They have a nice laminate with the differences for each. I got the 3rd which was the highest price point. The draw for me was it stated as the last point 4 hot towels. Leading me to believe that the hot towel would be applied twice? But, it didn’t happen. So, I asked what does the 4 hot towels mean because I only got 2. I going to say that due to a language barrier, I was ignored. So, I asked another member of the staff what did it mean. The difference between 2 towels and 4 towels. Because, I only got 2. I was told the towels was not the focus? Huh and still couldn’t tell me the difference. But, I can tell you on the nice laminate it’s a $10 difference. They still charged me the higher price and stated that they will give me a discount the next time. Now, people I have very rarely come out due to the pandemic and it was hard for me to venture out this time. But, it was a better than normal day weather not too bad and very chilled. Family and friends have been getting on me about getting out the house from time to time. So, I could really use the outing. Most, of the people I knew or recognized were gone. But, the nerve. I think that was rude and a scam. And they can keep the Discount. I won’t be back. That really upset me.
Today was my 1st time visiting this shop and I must say I believe I found a home for my nails. Craig did my nails and I absolutely Love them. He was very professional and informative about how to maintain healthy cuticles and nails. They have many colors to choose from and their very sanitary and not to mention I was in and out no issues at all. Thanks T &T see you guys in 2 weeks.

Ive gone to this place pretty regularly i’ve the past few months and i can just say it’s gone downhill, everything is over priced, the lady that did my fill today took over an over an hour and cut my nails very short. If you get regular polish instead of gel it turns yellow and flakes off after a few days, and it’s not worth the money you’re paying for it.
What a pleasant experience from beginning to end. Warm relaxing atmosphere . They did a fabulous job on my mani and pedi . The New owners have really transformed this into a GREAT experience . I love the diversity in the staff I smiled the entire time even though I can see through the mask 😂. My nails are gorgeous .I have a new place to come and truly get pampered . I got a manicure done with dip powder, tips added, and a gel design by Paul! He was great, he gave me exactly what I asked for and paid close attention to details. Ask for Paul! I will definitely be back!
I swore by this place untill last night! I called in to see when they closed. I was told last customer would be taken before 6:30. I arrived 10 minutes till. One guy was upset when I told him I wanted a full set. The guy who did my nails was in such a hurry to finish. He split two of my fingers open by filing carelessly! They werent shaped properly, and when applying the acrylic he went over the nails so many times they were sort of bulky. Then had the audacity to charge me $60. The only reason I paid was because from the looks of every nail tech they obviously had a long day, and are exhausted I understand that. I understand we all have bad days, and we are bound to take it out on someone wether we mean too or not been there. However I dont think its right to allow your feelings to interfere with your work. Have an attitude all you want but make sure you get the job done as efficiently as possible. Not only did my thumb nail COME OFF! I had to shape my nails. If you guys struggle with people coming in that late then dont stay open that late! I will be back but I wont allow the same man to do my nails.

Wow! Surprised to see all of the negative reviews. Second time coming. Had a great experience both times. The first person did a shellac manicure and polish pedicure. I’m a runner, so he was extra careful around my second toe. My shellac on my nails lasted 2+/3 weeks. My pedicure is still going. Today I got my underarms waxed and a shellac manicure. Great service, everyone is super polite. This place is conveniently located. What more can I ask for?

My experience at T T Nails was contrary to what other reviews have conveyed. My girlfriend and I walked in where we were politely greeted and helped at once. We were serviced and treated with speed and professionalism. Plus our pedicures were done very well, and that’s compared to an east coast standard. I will most certainly return. The price for service was absolutely worth it! They are under renovations so perhaps are under new management.

Do not go here. I visited this salon as a last minute resort because I need my nails to look presentable for an upcoming meeting. I treated this as a trial visit and planned to comeback for a full service if things went well. On my first and last visit I was very disappointed.1) They nickle and dime for every little thing. I paid $3 extra just to have my nails buffed instead of polished on a MANICURE. Youre charging $3 to NOT use a product? o_O2) They use a drill to clean your cuticles and buff your nails. As a result my nails have been breaking since my visit on 3/16/16.Please note that I have very strong natural nails with a nice nail bead. I went in for a simple manicure and to have my nails cut down (they grown very fast). This is the firs time I have experienced this in the 20 years Ive been getting my nails done. You can see and feel the damage on my nail beds. There is no reason to treat my natural nails like acrylic. I will not be returning here.

NEVER GO HERE!!! They do not respect or will not accommodate the customer. I recently had my nails done, but had glitter on 2 nails of each hand that I thought were inappropriate for work so I simply asked the nail tech to remove the glitter with a file instead of a drill. Well, he told me that it wasnt his job to accommodate me in that way so I asked a different nail tech in the shop & he also refused my service. So, I went to BeBe Nails & Spa on E. Warren & St. Antoine and they had me out in less than 10 minutes. I was so angry because it was a simple request, they were very rude about it & I am a PAYING customer who was polite. Didnt yell or anything... so I was confused on why they were being so rude to me. I will never spend my money in that place as long as I live!!!!!!!
I was there 1/3/2018 at 530 pm. Signed in for pedicure n nail polish change. 3 guys working. One guy comes to me about 615 pm and says ready for pedicure. One worker leaves after he finishes his client and that leaves two guys still there. After pedicure was complete my boots were moved to station for polish change and the manager says you will have to come back tomorrow. Why do I have to come back when Im in the establishment and signed up for services over an hour ago. I was denied service. Did NOT get nails done. Why didnt they tell me you can get one service done. I would have chosen my nails over my feet. Im never going back and reporting to Better Business Bureau. I would like to have this place boycott because they think they can mistreat customers.

Typically they do a great job and my nails usually look nice and last very long. However, today I experienced some very bad service and my nails looked terrible. Basically the nail tech made me feel very uncomfortable because I didnt like how he shaped my nails. He took it personal that I found the shape unbecoming for me. He acted defensive each time I mentioned my prefrence to the point I just didnt say anything else to avoid conflict. But as the customer my prefrence should come first. Now I have nails that I hate and paid for. Me and my entire family goes there but after today that will no longer be the case
The staff was very friendly and comforting to be around, they took the necessary precautions that were needed during the pandemic. And the pedicure that I got from Paul was amazing.

Very clean and professional. I was seated as soon as I walked in the door. I had my natural nails done and they turned out very nice. Staff was very friendly from the time I walked in to the time I left. I will return.
Awful. My acrylic nails were cracking and lifting, nail polish peeling, and one of my nails even broke. This was only a few days after I got them done. The man even left acrylic on the inside of my nails instead of taking it out like any other nail artist. I paid $30 for this and it didnt even last a week. Dont waste your time going to this place. It stays empty for a reason.

My nails were done okay. However, I have bruising along side my left eyebrow bone and a bad headache from getting my eyebrows lightly cleaned up.
I got my nails done and the same day 2 of my nails came off. Then when they was clipping my nails down they had full clippers and they was bending n not cutting my nails right.

Theyre not the best but today took the cake. I went to get a pedicure &full set and was unsuccessful w/both. First, the guy doesnt remove all the nail polish off my toes and is very rough(like last time) I jerked my foot &ask him 2b more gentle &he jus looks at me(dont think he knew much english &was new) Then another guy comes to me &sayslet me see your hand, Im trying to get home(under breath) & he sayshows ur day? I respond fine, urs &smile? He says, Do u really want a pedicure & yours nails done? I look at him & respond w/ u know ur right Nvmnd. He says good! I then asked the young man doing my feet to please discontinue the service, which he did. & I left. Worst service I ever had here, very disappointed.
Call before you head here. Their service is amazing, the first few times I’ve had no wait time and this was my absolute favorite. The past few visits I’ve had the longest wait in the world because they have very little staff. An hour and a half wait for a 45 minute fill isn’t fun.

Please post your hours! You always have an open sign lit up when youre closed and you lock your doors at different hours.Since you cater to the neighborhood, learn nail art that is culturally based and do lash extensios. Why should we go somewhere else?

As soon as me, my daughter, and mother walked in one of the guys said no kids allowed he was very rude with it the point for us coming was we all wanted service I was paying to get my daughter nails in toes polish so I suggest yall start asking customers what service they want before yelling no kids allowed thats why I would never recommend this nail shop to anybody become kid friendly
Not hygienic, reuse the same pumice rocks on everyones feet. Other tools should be autoclave in an enclosed pouch. I have never had a good experience.

I came into this nail shop at 6 pm they are suppose to close at 8 I waited an hour and a half to get my nails done at 730 just for them to till me no they couldn’t do my nails I ask them why they make me sit and wait knowing they were not gonna do my nails and the man was very rude

2022-06-04I have a birthday party to go to tomorrow so I needed to get my nails done today. Paul did my nails perfectly, just the way I want. He was gentle with my hands. The final result was perfect, he is really skilled. The salon itself is very clean, not at all busy when I went as I was a walk-in, and conveniently located near Downtown Detroit. They have several color selections and offer other services as well including pedicures.

2021-12-30Definitely love my new full set of acrylic nails. The shape is perfect and my nails are polished flawlessly. Staff is always friendly and welcoming. 2022-03-07My go-to nail salon in Detroit! Every time I’ve been there I received a high quality shellac manicure that lasts 3+ weeks. Fair prices. Great service. Much better than the other places in the city. Love the staff that took care of me. I’ll be back soon before Easter

2022-03-21Decided to try this place out because of the glowing reviews and wow, Im so glad I did! Only had the time for a pedicure, but it was the best pedicure of my life. All staff is super nice and the place is amazingly clean. Sad Ill be moving away, but would definitely consider making the trip just for the great experience next time! 10/10 would recommend.

2022-03-05Ive been a regular for months. Their entire staff are fantastic. Pricing is reasonable and the salon is very clean. Please be patient during the crisis - everyone is doing the best they can to be safe and continue on with life. This nail salon is busy I know they have some crazy customers from different nail salon and I feel so bad for them because theyre working very hard. Very rare nail salon like this in the town.

2021-09-03Kevin is the Best!! Just started going here and this is the second time getting my nails done by him. Hes quick but efficient and doesnt cut up your feet or hands. He listened to everything I asked for and is always super nice. Glad I found this place, I have been searching for a new nailplace home since I moved downtown and is super happy I found it.
