Taco Bell in other cities:
I tired to order a party pack and was told that I wasnt allowed to because they only had 3 people working and didnt want to make all those tacos ... I was willing to wait but still not able to get my order I never knew that was something you could tell a customer needless to say Ill never come back to this location.. very poor people skills by Austin who took my order
Went in and order 21$ worth of food asked for no sour cream on my bowl and paid for a side of chips did not get them at all and sour cream on my bowl. I called them and let them.know about missing items and was hung up on and when I called back asked for the manager and she straight up told me she would of not hung up on me if I was not rude. 1st of all was not rude to anyone. Kim the manager there is rude and would not resolve or offer me any money back for the stuff I paid for and did not get. VERY RIDE MANAGER AND WILL BE CONTACTING THE GM
Not too bad- although it could be better, tacos were good, especially the chicken chalupas. I would get those again. My suggestion though, add a little more meat on the bottom of the tacos (not just lettuce weeds and cheese- they make a mess in your car), also put some napkins in the bags, without them theres no mess to clean up. Otherwise, good.
I use to like this location, but the people they have now have totally dropped the ball. Rude to you when you order, dont listen to your order and get angry at you, or close down 3 hours early for no reason and rudely tell you to cancel your online orders when theyre in the wrong. Trash.
Dec 2021 went back again a few times... thankfully location seems to have steady hours now but still limited. Food was hot and fresh! Upping rating from 2 to 4 stars.TEMPORARILY CLOSED NOV 3, 2021.Posting in case anyone goes today. I placed an order in the mobile app, only to find out it was closed. You should disable the location in the app when it is closed or prevent ability to order. Location on West Stadium is OPEN.
First time in 3 years, I actually enjoyed Taco Bell. The taco was actually made properly and the bean burrito was plump and saucy like the old days. I live near the Saline Taco Bell and it should be shut down and usually go the Ann Arbor-state street Taco Bell, which has gone downhill over the last year. Thanks Jackson Street for the surprising experience. Quick drive thru service and friendly staff. I wish I lived in the area.
OMG... TWO HAIRSIf I could give it no stars I would. Went there tonight and only one person was in the line ahead of me. On the screen next to the window it said I was at the window for 8 and half mins. Got home and my food looked discusting. Open my tortillas and nothing was in them. Called the store to talk to a manager and he was a joke. He was rude and I end up hanging up cause I was sos frustrated. I am making a call tomorrow when the staff dont seem like a bunch of people who dont care.. I am also calling corporate.
Half hour long wait only to get told they’re out of stock of basically any item I want. When I finally find something in stock they manage to screw it up, and apparently can’t even do something as simple as put no ice in a drink. Then again I guess I’m lucky I even got served tonight because last time I got here 20 minutes before close they were already closed despite having their drive thru lights on.Kinda shameful in comparison to the Taco Bell on Washtenaw, which has managed to at least make sure orders are right despite the insane wait times at night.
In the 6 years that I have lived here I dont think that they have ever gotten a single order of mine correct. Its always a missing sauce, a missing taco, overcharged, swapped orders, or them just plainly ignoring special requests and sending out the normal ingredients. Even when they arent busy. I cant even begin to explain how disappointed I am in the service here and today was the last straw. The staff were nice but they completely swapped my order. I paid for $18 worth of food and they gave me a bag with 4 burritos. It wasnt even busy there were only a couple cars in line:(
We had non-beef tacos and nachos. It was drive through as not allowing dine in yet. Though it was busy with few cars waiting in line but they really did a good and efficient job in taking orders and delivering food, diligently. I had a bad experience in my previous taco branch when they delivered us with beef despite we ordered with beans but this branch did a good job.
They cannot make you order ahead on the app. Its strictly against corporate policy. I called and inquired. I was having a low blood sugar moment and explained it to the person in the magic ordering speaker box, and he was cool and let me order right then. In a normal, non- COVID world this place is really good. Now.....not so good.
UPDATE FROM PREVIOUS REVIEW BELOW:I made the mistake of ordering through the app TWICE on 2 different occasions because the staff here doesnt seem to read well!!My first app order (from september) at this location, I payed extra to substitute my entire order with chicken, but instead, I received beef. I let it slide because I was in a time-crunch. Second occurance: not only did I wait 10-15mins at the drive through, I had to go through TWICE (doors are locked) because they forgot a couple of items on my order! 30 minutes wasted, thanks!I dont care if they are understaffed (everyone is), READ THE ORDERS & GET THEM RIGHT THE FIRST TIME!!I do not recommend this location AT ALL!!!--------I come here often since theres never a long line whenever I need a quick bite in the area. One advice I can give you is to check your bag before driving off as they NEVER seem to remember you requested Hot Sauce with hour order just MINUTES prior!
Made us order online because of short staff and the website couldnt process the order. Youd think ordering through the drive through would be faster than ordering online, how stupid. Oh and not to mention their taco bell says breakfast but they dont offer breakfast. Do better taco bell and pay your people more, you can afford it.Edit: they also never update their hours when they close early (which is every day now) yet even Arbys next door can at least change their hours on their location no problem! Are the people here proud of the awful service everyone says they give? Do better.
Went there tonight after my shift(8pm). My wife placed an online order. Waited alittle while for our food no big deal. Noticed the 2 female staff goofing off in the window. Got home come to find out they messed up our order. Called up there to tell them. Female on the phone was rude and no help to us. Told us theres nothing she could do to correct it. Basically paid extra money for something completely different to my order..very displeased.
Terrible. Forgot my 2 Chalupas, I called and they said I needed to either come back today, or have my receipt to get them. No refund offered. Well, they never gave me a receipt, and I live 20 minutes away, not worth the drive, so I am frustrated and out my $$. Dont bother, this location has the worst inventory, they are the only place I go to that is out of something about every time I go, including BEEF once.
Stopped with my wife and 3 kids. The service staff was rude, the wait was nearly 20 minutes and they screwed up our order. Even worse, when I showed them that they forget several items, they almost argued with me about it. I had to show them what was given to me and my receipt. At which point they agreed to give me the missing items and still gave us the wrong order. At that point, we couldnt take the incompetency any more and just left. I will never go there again.
They consistently mess up orders. Weve learned to double check our food before we leave the drive thru. We were in a rush tonight and left before checking. We asked for my boyfriends chalupas with no sour cream, and lo and behold. Sour cream. I work in a fast food restaurant and I understand that mistakes happen, but it seems like a every order occurrence at this location.
Ive actually not seen a business worse run then this store. Half the people in line are from the drive through back because order given was wrong after waiting 30 mins for it. Lots of laughter from the back and zero people actually making food. This isnt the first time either. I ran a taco bell when I was 15, 20 years ago and Im certain I would be more efficient by myself than what this store produces.
Staff is nice and the food is well made, but they close before their listed hours so often that after 10pm, I dont even bother swinging by to check anymore, I just go somewhere else.*edit* These people havent gotten an order correct in ten visits or more. I wouldnt be surprised to open my bag and find Wendys fries and a pair or shoes in there at this point--you literally never know what you are going to get. Disappointing, not going back.
Was told that they Ran out of food and that the two cars in front of us took it all... This was at 9:50 p.m. It says that they are open until midnight. How do you just run out of all food in general? What if I just wanted a drink? I dont believe that they ran out of food I think they just didnt want to do anything for the rest of the night.
SLOWEST Taco Bell ever... Every time I go. At least a 15 minute wait each time, every time. Sometimes pushing 30 minutes. Im pretty sure they slaughter the cow, butcher it, and grind the corn for your shells after you place your order. The building is new and looks nice. But the tables are always sticky and the soda machine seems to never be cleaned. They hire slow kids so they can pay garbage wages. Hire better people and pay them to stay. Focus more on making money, rather than saving money. That way your business isnt a horrible experience.
Over the past couple years, I frequented this Taco Bell quite a lot. In recent months, however, I’m struggling to find a reason to come back. When companies run disclaimers for promotions that say “valid at participating locations,” this is NOT a participating location. They’ll charge up to $7 for what’s normally a $5 promo box due to the franchise owner being able to set prices. The problem with that is that it alienates a loyal customer base and thus overall business due to the franchise owner’s meddling. The reason why this review is 2 stars instead of 1 is because the employees there do a wonderful job. They always provide a quality product and they are not to blame for this. Until the franchise owners decide to follow what the company stores do for prices and promotions, I cannot provide any further business to this location.
Ive been to many Taco Bells. I can say without a doubt that this is the worst. It regularly takes them 20-30 min to get through 2-3 cars in the drive thru. In fact last time I went there was one car in front of me and they told me it would take 30 minutes for my quesadilla if Id like to wait. ???? Theyre also regularly out of the most common of ingredients. Ive never seen another fast food restaraunt with service as consistently poor as this one.
The food is great, but the wait for lunch during the work week is usually very long. If you go during that time...take note of how many people are sitting at tables with nothing but drinks and a receipt. If the majority of patrons look like theyre just there to drink, RUN...theyre all waiting for their food.
They dont honor their open hours (listed on the Taco Bell website) and close the store down early everynight. So if they close at 12am, better be there by 11 if you want to be served. Every night I see upset customers... and it continues. I stopped trying to see if theyre open if its past 11pm.
Every time I visit here, they screw up my order. Its worse when I go through the drive through, because its too late to catch it when I do. Half the time I go here, I use the drive through. Ive been going here for nine years. Theyve never gotten my order right on the first try. Im done giving them chances. If I could give zero stars, I would. Avoid this place.
Your store is okay. But for one your staff needs to be properly trained. I was with my brother tonight. Please ensure that your employees have better customer service skills. And also please ensure that the food is put in the right wraps. I was unhappy when I got home to find out my food was in the wrong wraps. Thank you
This Taco Bell is honestly the slowest FAST food restaurant I have ever been to. It took twenty minutes just to get my food! The cashier was friendly but also very slow and distracted. While waiting for my food they messed up multiple people’s orders. One customer commented saying, “It’s like a soup kitchen, you get what you get.” When I finally got my order, I only had three rolled chicken tacos instead of four and when I asked for the fourth one they didn’t believe me that I only had three! The manager said, “No there’s four. Lemme see...” They tried to make up for the wait by giving out free taco coupons but you better believe that I will not be redeeming it at this Taco Bell.
Came through just after 11:30 PM. Jacuaya was the most unenthusiastic, borderline rude cashier Ive ever had the displeasure of being served by. She seemed bothered by the fact that we were there, she was mumbling incoherently, clearly upset that she had customers during her shift. Our food was made well, the order was correct, but when she gave it to us, she didnt put napkins in the bag, or offer us sauce. Taco Bell is some of the messiest fast food there is. Napkins should always be included at the drive through, and she knew that, she was just too lazy to give them to us. We also couldnt understand what she said when our money was due. Absolutely horrendous at customer service. She should consider another profession, one which she does not have to deal with people. Totally ruined the experience.
Today I take my son to buy taco !Never such a bad worker ! I have been very friendly and repeat what I want to buy. They kept yelling, I dont know what youre talking about, and I ordered two and got home to see only one! This is my favorite Mexican restaurant. But the attitude of the staff has led to a reduction in future.
If you have 45 minutes to 1 1/2 hour to spend waiting for poorly prepared food. Then by all means is this the Taco Bell for you! The drive thru person was working both her section and the main counter. While two individuals (one being the manager) prepared food at a surprisingly slow pace. While the main counter attendant wandered aimlessly across the back of the kitchen looking for something to keep herself busy. Will NEVER go to this location again.
This is my first review Ive ever written, and sadly its a bad one. I hope through the drive thru tonight. They had someone training on taking orders. So lets just say ordering my food was a little more difficult than normal. Im assuming the manager got on and apologized for it and finished my order. I wasnt mad I said it was fine. I told them exactly what I ordered on the screen was correct. I got home and pulled my food out and everything is correct I get to my taco at the bottom of the bag upside down and open. And under that something I did not order. So I go to look at the receipt to see if I paid and there isnt one and they did not ask me if I wanted one when I paid.I dont know if they did this because of the tone I had when ordering but if it is you dont know what people go through in there day or whats going on in there lives. I had just got done crying was upset and needed a last minute dinner I wasnt planning on getting. I get home to relax and this happens. It sucks. I dont even know if I paid for this nasty burrito thing I didnt order.
Came to drive through twice on sundays. Order two items and screwed the order up twice. They purposely keep your receipts so you wont come back and complain at a later date . So now I understand your system. With the reviews you people have why not close down. Or maybe think of hiring some employees that can read so order well be right.
Waited 40 minutes for our food, while my lunch hour whittled away. Two young girls walked in at least 10 minutes after we ordered. Somehow they got their food and left before the guy that ordered before me got his food. The seating area was as cold as the weather outside, which was about 28°F. When we got our food, the counter help had punched in the wrong number, so the food was wrong. Before I left, I asked how it was those girls got their food before we did. I cant even begin to tell you the excuses I got, that made absolutely no sense and had nothing to do with anything!
We went at 9:30 on a Friday night, as we were getting out of the car a person who had been standing outside the door told us they were closed. So we sat back down in the car and Googled their hours which said they were open until 2 am, so after several minutes (at least 10) of discussion between my husband and I, we figured it must just be the dining room that was closed and headed for the drive thru. Which is where we were told that they were closed, he mumbled something and then said that the fire department was on the way so they couldnt serve any food. So we pulled forward, sat for several more minutes, made some phone calls and Googled a few other places before I then pulled away....It was only then that it occurred to me that he was full of it when he said the fire department was on the way. I sat in that parking lot for no less than 20 minutes and if the fire department had been called, it would have shown up within that time!We wont be back.
I ordered a spicy tostada today ask for no chipotle sauce extra red sauce and extra cheese. When I called the manager he was rude and said he didnt sell one today.By the way my order number 392534 at 11:26:33 I will never go back again I have no time for liars. He keeps hanging up on me. I still have my receipt. My tostada 6 pieces of cheese and one spot of red sauce. Not so mad about the tostada but the way the manager treated me
I’ve gone here 3 times. First time was good food and good service. Second time I went in the AM and was told they were out of eggs???? (It was no time near the end of breakfast) Third time, I went and they were out of Mexican pizzas???? It sounds like they have no idea how to order food to meet their customers needs. I won’t waste my next stop here. I’ll go somewhere else.
Honestly a couple months ago I hated coming here, most of the staff was rude or disinterested. Became a running joke with my bf to see what they messed up in our order. But lately the customer service has been great and they haven’t messed anything up. Not sure what’s goin on but keep doin it!
I just dont get this place. They are always randomly closed. I understand stuff happens. I really do. But swing by at shortly after midnight on a weekend? Closed. 6 pm on a Friday about a month ago, closed. They lock the doors to the place ALL THE TIME, no matter the time of day. Your money is best spent else where. These people could care less, its almost as if they try to suck as hard as possible some times. I hate it most for the staff, there are some people there that genuinely care and do do a great job. But whoever runs the place day in and day out shouldnt be left in charge of drying cement, much less any type of restaurant, and they certainly shouldnt be left in charge of another persons livelihood.
Taco Bell on Jackson is my choice. The drive thru staff is always friendly. My orders have always been accurate. I love the diversity the menu offers and thereis always something new to try. The prices are very fair even without their coupons. Taco Bell AND Arbys next store share a back driveway with access toboth.
We waited 30 minutes, only to be told we had already received our food (they couldnt find it oin their screen). Since we were sitting at a table in direct line of sight from the register, it seems ludicrous to me that they were insisting we got our food. The people who ordered before us had nor gotten theirs yet either; they said its like this all the time, very slow.It was not busy, and only one person could be seen making food. The manager appeared to give us a refund. If they have that much trouble getting food out to their customers, why wasnt he out there helping, and making things move more quickly? One last thing: either the male cashiers name is Cassidy, or both the cashier and the manager are using someone elses sign-on (which, when I worked retail, was a no-no).
The slowest location Ive ever been. Took 27 minutes from drive thru order to pulling up to the window, and then an additional 7 minutes until I received any food. This has been a repeat occurrence no matter the time of day (8pm, 5:30pm, 1:30am, breakfast). Insane wait times all around. Go to the location on Stadium Blvd instead, they are so much faster.
I want to commend the people who are working here right now. They are dramatically short staffed, and they are working their asses off to get people taken care of. Theyre doing a fantastic job.Should also mention the food was great despite the wait. Again, props to the dudes working there.
Not bad, well ACd, but, as usual with most TBs, the courtesy leaves much to be desired. Overall, clean, reasonably quick, but considering I was the only customer, it could have been even faster and more personable. No convenient wheelchair accessibility that I noticed either, for those needing to know.
Thought wed check it out after remodel. What a mistake we made...1st it was not busy when we walked in and it took a little longer to be noticed because no body was in the front...this girl finally appears from the back and takes are order...we go to find a seat and all the tables are dirty and they already had a new table that was wobbly and slanted...bandaid on the floor...food...spider...took almost 30 minutes to get are food...none of the employees seemed like they wanted to be at work today...the food was bad...ordered and pay extra to get a double and barely get a single...another item didnt even seem to be cooked right...soft shell not grilled at all on a quesadilla...place was so much better before the remodel...I will drive a little farther to a different Taco Bell from now on...was so bad...not clean...unfriendly staff...
This store was pretty clean compared to others...for fast food --most anymore are anything but fast... this store fills tacos a lil better than others...when u are now spending almost $2 for a taco--> they typically use minimal ingredients--definately not worth the $2..
Never have had a good experience here, long wait and extremely rude workers... Wait for your name to be called she responded after I said my order was incorrect. The young women in flannel shirt (apparently in charge) then ran around back after shouting. sat at desk for over 3 minutes waiting for help. Only person who is helpful is the young male in blue jeans.
I love Taco Bell, but when you have a store so under staffed that it takes 10 minutes to help someone at the counter, thats excessive. Also, my son (4) spilled his drink. We let the staff know, and they said that they would clean it up. 20 minutes later and they havent even put up a wet floor sign. The manager was doing an interview in the lobby. He was finished with the interview, and the spill is still there. I let him know, he said the staff will get to it. 30 minutes later, still no wet floor sign.Safety must not be a concern.
My husband and I just went through the drive-thru, and received the worst service I have ever had a fast food restaurant. The guy taking our order was speaking with obviously fake accents that he kept changing. We each ordered a combo, and he didnt even ask us what we wanted to drink before telling us to pull ahead. We stopped him and gave our drink orders, then tried to order more food. However, first he claimed they didnt carry the burrito we wanted, then we tried to order a cheesy bean and rice burrito, only to be told that they were out of beans and rice. We found that suspicious, considering one of our combos was for a quesarito and there was no issues ordering that! While at the window, we witnessed this guy take off one of his gloves, do something at the cash register, then put that same glove back on! No handwashing, no clean glove, nothing. I dont expect 5* service at a Taco Bell, but this was absolutely asinine.
This place is the SLOWEST taco bell this side of creation! I mean my goodness. Most Taco bells are slow but this one is unapologetic slow! Then they greet you with this forced customer service, no apology, and when you tell them you spent most of your lunch trying to GET lunch, the response is always oh..... Maybe taco bell should get hip like the McDonalds in the area and build another on baker road since they cant seem to keep up! Oh and this isnt a hit or miss thing! I have been going to this taco bell for 2 years since i started working in the area. 10 minutes MINIMUM. I question why i still frequent this location every time.
Your food is like your staff: confusing. Just like I couldnt tell if it was male or female I couldnt tell if the meat in my taco was beef or chicken. It took us longer for us to get our 3 tacos then for it to get a gender change. There was NO mild sause, NO napkins, NO sense of urgency, and worst of all NO DEFINED GENDER OF EMPLOYEES!!!Overall experience 9/10 second only to the zoo.
Since the renovation this place is terrible! 20+ minutes to get food. Heard an employee yelling at another employee when I was there the other day. Tried coming back again, not sure why...but probably because I LOVE tacos....but they told me they cant take orders because the computer doesnt work. They dont have enough employees, they need to get it together! Come on Taco Bell, I need my tacos!!!
Update: Franchisee had the nerve to raise the prices... ridiculous. $6.59 for chicken quesadilla meal..$3.49 for a cheesy gordita crunch. Back to my boycott.Location Keeps The Tacos Coming...Newly remodeled outside, same bad service on the inside. An extended lunch break is needes if expecting to eat during lunch due to slow service. Apparently there is a clean your own table policy. If this level of service is at any other location, the doors close. Food is made up to franchise standards and all other aspects are lacking.
We were going from our trip from Canada to Chicago on July 4th and stopped here to grab some food. I dont eat meat and still got a very bad food poising after we ate here. I was vomiting all night and I couldnt walk, because I felt dizzy. It took one week to fully recover from this food poisoning.
I always get the steak quesirito it was my first time at this location and I asked for EXTRA STEAK witch i paid for and I saw one of the managers make it and it barely had any steak at all. It had LESS steak than a regular one and I asked for EXTRA and them when I asked her if she was sure it was extra steak she said of course 😑 do NOT goto this location it was the worst 6 bucks I ever spent I was still hungry after it was so skimpy
Nice new building just sucks they dont keep it clean. The mens bathroom was dirty. The sink was covered in pop and sticky, urinal had an empty pisspuck holder and a bunch of gum in it.. Food is as fresh as fast food can be. Employees are polite and diligent. Just need a janitor.
Water spilled on floor in dining room want cleaned up by two employees who walked right through the area. It was on the floor when we walked in and there for almost 20 more minutes. Then, while we were eating, watched an employee come into the dining room with his food prep gloves still on, grab the dirty service trays from the garbage cans then return to prepping food. Never eat at this Taco Bell again.
Closes for four months to renovate. Reopens and finally serves the customer waiting in the drive through the entire time. You will have ample time to pass through every stage of grief while waiting for your crunchwrap.Denial: it must not have been that long yet. I must be confusedAnger: it has been literally ten minutes. The guy in front of me must have gotten a 12 pack of tacos. Nope! Chewy crunchy cheesy Christ. He got a single taquito. Come on!Bargaining: I havent paid yet. Maybe i can drive my sorento over the curb and get to the Arbys down there.Depression: *weeping into a brown napkin from last time.*Acceptance: *channeling your anger and depression into a scathing review between bites of crunchwrap.*
Dont waste your time going to this taco bell its not the first or sec time or third time for VERY BAD SERVICE dont bother looking for a 1800 phone number to call they they would not give it to me or even tell me the main managers name and you cant get in contact with the company office. Got my money back and made taco at home for Six dollars not 28.00 dollars what a joke Taco bell
Tried to go here at least 5 times since May and they are always closed, even when they should be open. The one time I did catch them open, the preparation was garbage even though there were no other orders stacking up to cause a rush. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

2022-05-14Talked to a MANAGER who said they bag there chips, then why do I have 6 chips just THROWN in the bag and what am I supposed to do with 5 sauces when I asked for a lot. Not to mention the manager laughing on the phone saying “no way we bag our chips” clearly not lazy and incompetent. Do better buttercup

2022-07-30No customer service, my order was incorrect, ether they over heated my chulupa or its old the shell should not be hard and crunchy. Also they dont know how to wrap Will never return.

2022-06-21Man, the cheese.crusted chalupa was amazing! I went over lunch and had quick, and friendly service.

2022-06-28Ordered a crunch wrap supreme meal. Asked for no tomatoes. Got a ton of tomatoes on there. Not like they were busy either, no other cars in drive through. Paying almost 10 bucks for an order that wasnt even right is irritating.

2022-04-19Everyone at this location deserves a raise. I most frequently come here at lunch time and they are always quick and friendly. There are rarely mistakes with my order but if there is theyre always happy to fix it with no issues. I often put in bigger orders for my coworkers and myself and its never an issue. This location is probably my favorite location, I wish they were closer to my house!

2022-06-30Food was good. If you order on the app just know as of 6/27/22 you still have to go through the drive thru. No lobby pickup. The line was long, but it moves pretty quick.

2022-05-18Overpriced and seems like portion sizes are getting smaller. Chips were just ok but very salty and some were stail.

2022-06-05Terrible example of what taco bell serves. Stopped in for the return of the Mexican pizza. Why bother advertising it if its never available? Our order was barely wrapped and incorrect. No napkins were given, for tacos through a drive through. Absolutely ridiculous taco bell visit.

2022-03-01The taco bell on Stadium keeps randomly closing due to staff and supply chain, but this one always seems to be open. They had to stage order so they could keep up, so I sat at the ordering speaker for about 7 minutes before they took my order, but my food was ready when I got to the window and it was hot and delicious!!!!

2022-05-11Another sickening false advertiser, who says their hours are one thing and then they end up being another thing. Went to the drive through during normal hours and was informed that only Uber eats orders would be made. They refused to make tacos for us. What a disgusting place. Close your sickening doors. Disgusting pieces of trash.
