Understaffed. During a lunch rush they only have two employees. This isn’t the employees fault and if they up and quit on the spot I wouldn’t blame them. The fact that Taco Bell does this to their own employees is sad. If this is how they treat their employees then you know that they don’t care about their customers either.
Just waited a half hour in the drive-thru line for them to get my order wrong. Literally sat at the window on a 2 item order for at least 5 minutes, and then they still put sour cream and tomato on my crunchwrap. I understand that everyone is short staffed, but if you are going to make someone wait that long, at least get the order right. Lack of employees does not translate to illiteracy.
My first taco had no meat on it, they remade it and put tomatoes on the second one and it doesn’t come with tomatoes, and the third time making it I didn’t check it and left because I was irritated at this point they again made it with no meat on it and so much sauce it was dripping everywhere. This location sucks! Never coming back that’s for sure!
One of my normal Taco Bell frequents. Normally its alright but today just left me scratching my head. Out of multiple items (Quesadillas and Crispy Chicken Sandwich Tacos) and the associate didnt even know about Taco Bells app promotion today at all. Constant 15-30 minute wait for fast food. I get fast food is rough but this location really needs to step up their quality control.
I really use to like this location when it first opened but management has already ran this place into the ground. They are constantly out of ingredients and blame it on restraints by covid. How come every other fast food joint in this town runs their business just fine but not taco bell?? One night I asked the person working late why they were still open. They told me because the store manager wouldnt let them close early. No one in line and couldnt even make over half of the menu (this is not an exaggeration).The people who work late at night are not the problem. They are consistently kind and probably get yelled at by customers often because of managements mistakes. Its clear that management does not care about sales or running a business and just show up for a paycheck.
I went here on August 13 around 2:00.. they only had two people working and they did an outstanding job the one working drive-through kept a smile on her face the whole time!!! very sweet kind girl, I think fast food workers like this deserve a raise. anyways, the food was very good! thank you both for your hard work. :)
This taco bell used to be great, but more recently I’ve found that my order is always wrong, and that they simply just don’t do their jobs. I went there this morning for breakfast (which ends at 11am) at 9:30am and was told i needed to circle back around because they aren’t open yet (they open at 7am). I went back around at 9:50 and they told us they stop serving breakfast at 10 although they served the person in front of us breakfast. They are completely unprofessional and lazy.
Check your order before leaving. They get it wrong a LOT . Here is my latest visit to this placePlaced my order at the drive thru window. Received the wrong order. Admittedly I didnt check until I got back to the office. Drove back to the restaurant, as there was nothing I like in the order I received. It would have been easier to just eat what was given at that point. Lobby was closed, due to short staff. I go back to the drive thru and attempt to explain what went wrong. She says just pull up - I respond with maybe you should take my order now, so its ready when I get back to the window. I tell her what I originally order. I pull up and she says $10.37 I say No, you gave me the wrong order last time Window closes. Someone else comes up, opens the window, abruptly hands me my box and shuts the window without saying anything. I say through the window No apology or anything, thats it? She tells me Leave the drive thru now I say Not until I check the order she responds with Youre being rude to usMistakes happen , especially when youre short staffed, I get it. A little accountability and customer service skills would be nice. I wasnt even mad - it appeared to me that they were more put off that I would even come back..... I guess youre suppose to just take whatever they give you.
Today was the best experience at taco bell. The guy that was there during lunch was amazingly nice on the speaker taking my order got it correct. Then i get to the window and he wad still nice and he was wearing a taco costume! I 100% have never been so happy in a drive through. Thank you for making my day!!!
Theyve basically taken meat off the menu. Last thing I got was just a tortilla with nacho cheese and maybe a gram of ground beef spread inbetween, if that. Whole meal cost about 20 bucks for me and my wife, which would be alright if the food was any good, but its just not. Taco bell has been going downhill for a long time, and the new Hudson taco bell has just never been good. Hate to say it but its true. Ill go there again, but only because Ill probably forget how bad it actually is. Which is pretty bad.
The staff was rude and didn’t double check our food before handing it to us. There were flies in our food and the freshness of the shells was poor. We were missing half of our items and half of our items were not what we ordered. Also, when I called the store to tell them about the mistake, they were rude in their response telling me, “there’s nothing we can do for you,” even if we came back with a receipt.
Update: figured we would give it another shot and it was even worse than before the tacos we ordered were wrong they were also soggy and sloppy. The burrito was covered in sauces on the outside and literally fell apart. About a third of the order was missing a third was wrong and all of it was cold soggy and sloppy. We went back up there and instead of fixing it they just refunded the order. This place is awful...
I have in the past always been appreciative of this Taco Bell - that was until today. I went through the drive-thru with my daughter and when we got home found out that the order was wrong. It wasnt something we could just alter at home because of food allergies. I called the store eight times to find out what I needed to do to have the order replaced, I didnt know if I needed to bring the food back. They never answered their phone. I drove back to the store and went through the drive-thru to let them know what happened and the assistant manager, Joshua, called me a liar. Flat-out said I was lying because he had been there and didnt have an order like ours come through. Then he proceeded to ask me if I knew that I was at the right store. I am a well-educated individual that is coherent, and know what store I went to and when. He called me a liar again when I told him that exactly why our order was. He asked for my receipt. I did not have one because of the store did not give one to us. I had the old food in the car with me to show them it was wrong and he continued to tell me that I was lying. Finally he decided they were going to replace half of what was wrong. I said I wanted all of my order that was wrong replaced. I paid for it I should have the right order. Eventually they threw the bowl in my car. Opened the window and pretty much tossed it at me and that was it. I demanded to talk to the manager he wasnt there. Joshua came back to the window and looked at me then shrugs his shoulders like it was not a big deal. I told him if he was going to insist on a receipt then they needed to make sure that their staff was giving out receipt when people went through the drive-thru. We did not ask for receipt because we assumed it was in the bag. You cannot do business and expect people to return when youre calling them Liars.
We were greeted when we walked in the store. The store itself was SPOTLESS! Very clean, well stocked (forks, sauces, self serve items). The staff was very friendly and kind. The general manager (He might have been the assistant manager) was super great and took the time to speak with us, and ask us how everything turned out. That kind of service as a fast food establishment is unheard of. The portion sizes were shockingly amazing. Usually I dont get that kind of service at other locations. They really made it a meal to remember.
Slow service, cold food, missing items, wrong wrappers(which led to one family member getting food poisoning) and very little/no sauce packets.Two stars and not one because at least the staff is friendly enough.EDIT; Changed to one star as it seems the friendly staff have been replaced by people that could care less about their jobs. Disrespectful staff that don’t know how to speak to customers work here, especially in the later hours. If you’ve been here then you likely know who I’m talking about.Not only have the staff changed, but trying to stay in business doesn’t seem to be a concern for the manager as they’re almost always out of half the ingredients needed to make name any item menu after 7pm.
Visit at the Taco Bell in New Hudson today. Been missing my tostada. What do you know Kyle made us smile and found a way to give me my tostada. Super helpful with food allergies and dietary needs. Five stars all the way!Also, overall weve never ever had a problem at this location. The order is always spot-on, never missing any items, and all substitutions have been met!
I go here every day, sometimes twice a day, when I am working in the area. The young people that work there are very pleasant and I have never had my order wrong. I dont know whats up with the bad reviews, but it certainly doesnt seem to be the employees.The wait is never very long. The only time I had a long wait was when it first opened up after the covid-19 quarantine. Not a problem anymore.
While my family and I love Taco Bell on occasion I hate to admit this location has NEVER given us a correct order. At times we receive an entirely different order. I hesitated posting this review but feel frustrated by the constant inconvenience. Why cant you get the order right?! Ugh
Dropping from 4 stars to 1. They started great when they opened but they need new management at the very least. I went once and sat 2 cars back from the speaker and after like 7 minutes was 1 car back and so I drove off. My mom went another time in the middle of the day and the lobby was closed. Then my wife went the other day and got mostly the wrong order even though the receipt was correct. She called the restaurant and no one picked up and the message said the voicemail had not yet been set up. Eventually called corporate customer service and talked to them. Im not expecting gourmet food or anything but you should get decent speed and the correct order. Hope they fix it cause I enjoy some Taco Bell every now and then.
Visited this location on my lunch break. Waited excessively for fiesta potatoes, and when I got my burrito it was made incorrectly. So once I did return to work I was out of time to get other food and couldnt eat the food I waited til long for a was served. Also. Had I known there was a wait before I was charged I would not have ordere that because time was so limited. Over all very poor service.
Horrible Taco Bell. Everytime I’ve gone here since opening they’ve completely messed up my order. Whether it’s giving me someone else’s order all together or just not following the simple order on the screen. Management is rude and so are the employees. Very unprofessional and dirty.
At least 80% of the time my order is wrong. They give you the wrong food and they forget items you ordered even when they repeat your order back to you. Today was the final straw. There was no one in line and they still got the order wrong and forgot items. I went into the restaurant today to straighten out their mistake. The restaurant is open to the public. I went in and dumped my bag of wrong and missing items on the counter and I guess this offended them. I did not swear and told them, I was mad and the order was wrong and wanted my money back. The girls were defensive and started yelling at me to get out. The owner also stated to me that there were minors working there and I had to leave. I was not swearing, I paid for a service and did not receive the product. Instead of them helping me, they victimized themselves and made it about them. I was told by the owner if I had sounded nicer they would have been more than happy to help me. Im sorry, am I going to have to take a class on what tone may be acceptable to someone that is younger and owns a Taco Bell. I didnt know that was a thing. The owner came around the corner and was inches from me and tried to strong arm me out of there by encroaching on my personal space. He had no respect for me or my personal space during this pandemic. I asked him to back up, he came closer. In the meantime he was not going to fix my order or give my money back. My only option was to leave he said. Is this the Taco Bell you want to go to? If they dont find your tone acceptable, you are out of luck. They decide they will keep your money for their faults. They arent making the correct decisions at this taco bell. He also video taped me and gave me a condescending wave goodbye after he stated I could never go there again. He does not have to worry. My hard earned money will never be spent at that location. If I could give negative stars I would but this site will not allow that. I will say 2 hard tacos were thrown my way too little to late. The customer has no rights at this location and you are treated as a criminal. You are not allowed to complain. Shame on them for virtually having no customer service. I did call corporate to let them know . Hopefully they will not be happy with the condescending, video taping, disrespectful owner!!
It’s open. I got the steak and egg stacker and grilled potato breakfast burrito. Fast friendly service and both my items were grilled to perfection. Most Taco Bell’s under grill but these were toasty and delicious. I’m already a Taco Bell regular and this will be my new go to location. Only downside is the burrito was $1.59 instead of the usual dollar so they might not honor every promotion but it’s still a good deal even at that price.
Look... i love taco bell and the food im obsessed. but if yall dont start tyrning your doordash tablet off when your store closes in this pandemic im gonna be calling cooperate because this has happened to me countless times. i work in fast food and we make sure to turn tablets off before we close. i called you guys about it and everything. thats ridiculous and i cant refund my order before a dasher gets there and has to cancel it because your store isnt open. thats wasting peoples time.
Waited in the drive thru for 30 minutes before giving up and going inside, then waited another 30 minutes inside the restaurant for my food. There were four workers there, but only one person cooking. I have never had such terrible service. I will never ever go to this location ever again. And this happens every time I go to the New Hudson location no matter the time of day.
I go here intermittently, which is apparently how they observe their own hours of operation. Ive given them a bit of leniency as its a somewhat newly-opened taco bell. Ive previously overlooked being shorted on taco content, or the mornings theyve been closed when they shouldnt have been, but honestly, youve had enough time to get it together. If I cant trust your posted hours, how can I trust that youre ever open? You should be ashamed of yourselves. Hope saving money on labor and food cost was worth being the failure youve become.
I have had no issues at this Taco Bell. Everyone here is so friendly! Sometimes they are a little slow at night when there is a rush of high and drunk people but I think that’s bc they may not be fully staffed for stuff like that. I’m always happy to come here and get my tacos
I dont know about the closed issues since it was open when I got there at 7pm. But the service was good, the food is good, the order is correct, and it was done fairly fast. Not bad seeing how I got 5 different food items for $5 Wich is better than burger Kings and McDonalds $1 menu selection combined.

Drove through the drive through at 12:35 on a Saturday night, menus still lit, workers all inside, and they pretended to be closed. I think it’s weirs because their website says 2:30am and I was just there two Saturday’s ago at the same time. Staff just decides to call it quits whenever they feel like it I guess. What if I decided to just stop my job whenever I felt like it? Well I’d be fired...
Just visited this location for the first time and they got THREE things wrong. I ordered the $7 deluxe box. They didn’t give us the cheese save, and gave me a regular hard shell taco instead of the dorito taco. My fiancé ordered 3 different taco types, one of which was the crunch wrap supreme. They did not give us the crunch wrap supreme.
This location was very slow and got my order wrong. Ordered no tomatoes on my tacos and still got them, also ordered a nacho fries box with a soft taco and a side of cinnamon twists, I received a hard taco and no cinnamon twists. On top of t hmmm e wrong order I was the only person Iinside and it took 20 or so minutes.
I got food for my kids. It took way too long! The employees were complaining, telling me things i didnt need to know? The kid manager belonged in high school. A very large man with many rolls out made me feel super uncomfortable!He was an employee with the day off? Again way to much info and way to small shirt.He was telling everyone things witch he had no clue?Being an engineer myself, I wanted to correct him, but I was quiet. Happy to speak out now. I only gave 1 star due tho the fact I cant give a negative number.
The ABSOLUTE WORST Taco Bell since they opened! Over the course of 3 visits to this store... 1st visit; missing food from drive thru order, their phone wasnt even answered on this visit.2and visit; WRONG FOOD from drive thru order.3rd & most recent visit, after ordering & paying I was informed that their coffee maker (for iced coffee menu item) wasnt working & their Pepsi Zero was out & they had NO MORE. This was a lobby order. Asked manager for refund & proceded to Taco Bell on Pontiac Trail in South Lyon. New Hudson store should be closed until they can properly hire & train staff, as well as stock the store.
Took over 20 minutes to get 3 tacos and a burrito!! Felt so bad for the kid that was ahead of me he had been waiting about 25 to 30 minutes and he was gonna be be late for his job! Got my order and I got a curt “Sorry for the long wait.” Whatever!! Best thing I can say (which for 3 tacos and a burrito isn’t much), is they got the order right.
Moved out here a little while ago, been going to this taco bell for a while, but have yet to have one crunchwrap that didnt seem to be absolutely wrecked. Do they punch them before they bag them? Or do is it just because they stack everything else on top? I never have thos expirience at other taco bells, but i cant sit quietly anymore about it. Please change the way you pack them
I really try and refrain from leaving reviews for fast food establishments because lets be honest, the average person doesnt really expect to get much out of a fast food place to begin with as far as food or service is concerned. They are what they are; quick places to grab a mostly sub-par bite when youre hungry.With that being said, there is a specific reason I am writing this particular review. I was initially excited when this location popped up. Its close enough to work to be able to make a quick Taco Bell run when my Cheesy Gordita Crunch cravings become too much to handle, which is super convenient.I have been to this location around five times, and two of those times I was missing food when I received my order and had to go back around through the drive thru (or inside), explain what happen, wait, get the food I paid for and go on my way.The main issue is, typically when I am getting food here, its for multiple people, and being held up with my order being incorrect, usually results in me bringing cold food back to work; which isnt cool for anyone involved. My trips are also typically time sensitive as I only have so long for a lunch break. They do however love to throw free Cinnamon Twists and Empanadas in for the inconvenience of having to come back because of their mishap (neither of which I am really a fan of to be honest). I completely understand that this is a new location, but should I really have to comb through my order every time?The answer is no. Especially when nothing is modified and the order is never more than a few things.With that being said, this location has become more of a hassle than the convenience I once thought it was. I am going to continue to explore my food options that are in the similar geographic area to this location.Hopefully this location can get it together. Sooner than later.
I am leaving 2 stars because the manager on site at least tried to solve the problem but when I got home I was sorely disappointed.I placed a mobile order (#908375) because it is easier to ensure that what I want is included in the order but when I arrived they informed me that they had run out of flatbreads for my Gordita crunches. They offered to supplement with soft shells but its not the same. I asked to change to different menu items and we agreed on a Crunchwrap and a bean burrito with extra cheese and onions. This seemed amicable to me.Upon arriving home I found that not only did the bean burrito lack both extra onions and cheese but so did all of the tacos.To top it all off, my burrito from the original order was found flattened at the bottom of my bag of food.I understand that things get crazy and chaotic but this is quite upsetting.

I got to the order window and was told I will be right with you Another few minutes went by, and the line did not move. I went across the street to Jimmy Johns, walked inside, got my order and left while the same car was at the pick up window. What happened to this place ??
This was probably the worst Taco Bell I have ever eaten at and if I didnt have to lug a 9 month old out with me, I would have returned the food and asked for a refund. My food was stale and luke warm. I had the smallest amount of meat on my food I have ever received at a taco Bell and the lady at the drive thru wasnt turning her head set off while she yelled at her co-workers. So sad because it literally just opened and its so close to home. I think Ive written a review maybe twice in my life, this being the second. So to write a review means I was very disappointed!
So I need a special trip out here all the way from South Lyon and you guys are close to? It was 1 a.m. and it says online you guys are open until 2:30. Whatever happened to putting signs up letting people know that you close early due to some issues? Why cant you guys get it together? Taco Bell has really gone downhill and Im about different get about them.
We waited 30 mins to get 2 tacos while watching a bunch of tennagers vaping right in fron of us behind the counter while the manager just sat their and did nothing. We calle their coperate number already and im very disgusted about food quality. Plus the cashier is always rude. Will never come here again.
Disappointed in the disrespect thru drive thru. I wasnt given sauce like i asked. So i drove around to get the forgotten sauce. No worries stuff happens. But when i went back to the window. The young man and a girl. Looked at me in the drive thru and turned around to walk outside to smoke. So i sat there and knocked on the window. Min or 2 later a nice young man named jerffery came to help. After i left the 2 were still outsode smoking..smh do your job first then smoke.plus dont see me then walk away.
Normally have a wonder experience here. We’re very loyal customers and are there almost every night. But the last two times we have come thru late at night they have been closed before the closing time. The first time was last week they were out of product by 11:30 at night and didn’t close until 2 A.M Tonight was the second time and they closed at 11:30 tonight when online they say they close at 1A.M. We tried to call and they just let it ring until it went to a voicemail.
They are always closed far before closing time and our orders are always missing items. Tonight we arrived at 11:40, Google said they close at 2:30, window says they close at 12:00. When we pulled in at 11:40 all the lights were off and no one answered at the ordering console, this happens all the time so we never know when they actually close.
Imagine my disappointment to go there wanting to try the breakfast crunch wrap and the place is dark and empty. Says open at 7am but 7:25 and nobody there. Had I known this I would have went to the Hartland location closer to home. (Wanted it HOT so elected to get it closer to work.) No breakfast for me today..... :-(
Been there the past two night and they have had no apple empanadas at 8:30 at night. I don’t understand how they had Cinnabon’s ready but not the empanadas. It’s a little upsetting because it’s on they menu and never up and ready. Maybe they shouldn’t have them If they aren’t willing to make them for paying customers

Staff are usually friendly, but whomever runs this operation has absolutely no idea whats going on. Its always understaffed and Im sitting in line right now, wasting 20 minuites of my life. Then they hire people and wonder why the lines are empty. Its an endless cycle, get your act together
My dad went in.there lastnight I teztes him what my cousin.amd.I wanted a 5$ box with soft.taco instead of hard and an orange cream freeze then a #10 add sour cream and make the crunchy tacos supreme with a cherry pepsi! Simplw right??? But no I got.charhes 35$ and.not.one thing was right with a ton of extra stuff.
We love the location, but the girl they have at the window taking orders needs to learn how to turn her mic off before she says things that she doesnt want customers to hear..... Very rude, the difo is very inconsistent we most of the time drive further to another one to get a better quality if we have time
Ordered online and drove up there to tell me they were closed at 9pm...basically told me to drive to Milford road when I live the opposite direction..wanted so bad to try this new location but couldnt even get me my money back after declining the inconveint drive to Milford road....

2022-05-13Polite people and food is well prepared. Dining area consistently dirty. Just brush the last guys residue onto the floor, one look tells you that is what everyone does. Its the same every time I go there and has been that way for years so not a staffing issue.

2022-01-27I go here all the time. Like any fast food place right now, theyre out of stuff sometimes and are understaffed sometimes. Not their fault, and usually theyre just down for a day. Easily the best Taco Bell location in the area

2022-06-13I have never been to a Taco Bell with so many issues. They are closed more than they are open it seems like. Plus good luck getting what you want, because they run out of things constantly. They ask if you want sauce and dont give it to you.

2022-03-10This is the worst Taco Bell Ive ever been to almost every time Ive been they either get my food wrong they burn it or they serve very old chalupas and potatoes. Almost every time this has happened its been with direct contact with the manager and nobody seems to know what the hell is going on in there. When I did go back to get a refund she tried arguing with me on how much money I paid for food that I didnt even eat. The employees were very rude and irritated that they had to remake A burrito that they made wrong in the first place. I definitely dont recommend going to this location.

2022-06-17If I could lower I would. The staff is always rude. One in particular has worked there before and has now COME BACK for some reason she has always been rude. Screams at people who get too much for this location its a taco bell. How hard could it be. The staff members name in particular I will not post online, but she has been now at the south Lyon taco bell, and now again at this one. Im done eating taco bell in this area.

2022-03-17This is the Taco Bell to go to in the area if its later than 9. Wixom and South Lyon are consistently out of beef/chicken/cant do that... Never had a problem here. Friendly and polite staff!

2022-05-09The difficulty I had in finding this Taco Bell is the reason for 3 stars. I would have given 1 star but the fantastic staff make this a great Taco Bell, if you can find it.Its located off the interstate and a right turn at a rather busy intersection. Even while driving down the seemingly desolate road its on, there was no large Taco Bell sign. I saw the smaller sign on the building but almost missed it. Just make sure to use your navigation app if yourenot familiar with the sorrounding area.There doesnt appear to be a large indoor dining area judging by the size of the building. Great drive thru though. Proof that an excellent staff makes all the difference for most people, myself being one.

2022-03-10If i could give zero stars I would. I pulled up to the drive thru at 11:20p.m. on March 9th,2022, and the young male working said, hello. welcome to your understaffed tacobell. If ur order Is long like everyone in front of you. Itll be a long wait.... WHO WOULD SAY THAT TO A CUSTOMER!? As someone who works in food, I understand being understaffed and stressed, but, That still gives the employee no right to be so unprofessional.

2022-05-29This Taco Bell is never open when they are supposed to be! Multiple times we have tried to get food from there and end up having to drive to the Wixom location because they are closed. Will just go to Wixom from now on.
