After sitting in the drive through line for 15 minutes they proceeded to inform me they have no beans no tomato’s no sour cream and no Mexican pizzas I had placed a online order and drove from highland because the app said they had Mexican pizza’s . Very disappointing and such a waste of my time.I will not waste my time going to this place again.
Closed approximately 8:30 p.m. due to a lack of employees. Generally open until 1 a.m. I have other Taco Bells that are closer to me but I prefer this one because of the service, the food and friendly staff. Whens Taco Bell going to pay their staff enough to keep them around? This review has nothing to do with the food or the employees but everything to do with how much Taco Bell pays their employees to keep their friendly staff and great staff around.
I used to go out of my way for this Taco Bell, but the quality of this place has dropped since I first started to go here. The last three times with three different employees they ended up getting my order wrong. While Im assuming the best out of these people, DOUBLE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE PAYING. The last three times they got my order wrong I always end up paying more.Edit: Oh, and they hire the kind of people that hear: No Tomatoes or beans as Add Tomatoes AND Beans. Highly unprofessional.
Stay away from this location! I placed our order through the app and my husband went to pick it up. I received the notification that the order was ready for pick up, card charged $20. Correct address & a confirmation number. When he arrived, all of the staff insisted that there were no online orders at all. My husband then left, frustrated after waiting in a very long line and dealing with unhelpful/angry staff.I called the store to give them my confirmation number (it took 3 times for them to even answer) and inquire about what might’ve happened, and the staff proceeded to yell and argue for 5 minutes, the man was extremely rude to me, and after 6-7 minutes a staff member apparently found our food bag on a counter somewhere. The man did not apologize or offer any sympathy for the trouble. This is now over 10 minutes after my husband left. I asked if we could just get a refund and he said “Do it through the app” and hung up on me. I was very polite and didn’t deserve how I was spoken to. Bye bye Taco Bell. Hopefully we are able to get a refund somehow.
This was the absolute best experience ever and has changed our taco bell choice of location as we will be going to this taco bell location from here on out. The cashier Angela was extremely professional and polite and displayed outstanding customer service. Thank you so much for an excellent experience Angela! I do highly appreciate Angelas pleasant & exceptional customer service for which I do hope that taco bell will show her with more than words how great she is and show her how much she is appreciated. She deserves to be recognized, for she has a special & natural talent in customer service and working with the public. Amazing experience!
If I could give zero stars I would. First of all they are very sloppy with their packaging. Second of all they are the laziest group of workers I have ever seen. The drive through line is slow no matter when you go and if you get a doordash order they wont complete it. I ordered well before 10 and at 10:10 pm I got a call from the dasher that they were closed at ten. So they should have had more than enough time to complete the order.
Been in drive thru for 40 minutes and like 8 cars have moved. It should be illegal to keep cars blocked in the drive thru. I will never pick up another order from this location ever. But there are employees outside picking up trash and smoking. I see how this location feels about service.
This use to be the best taco bell in the area, however for the past three months the service has just been awful. I see 6 people working yet it takes 30+ minutes to get through 6 cars, the line is always super long and I just dont know why it takes this long. It shouldnt one car should not be helped out at a time, its called fast food for a reason. Fix it
Closed before 9pm on Sunday when hours say different. Please change hours of operation.Edit: I just had the best experience I’ve ever received from this place. It’s currently 11:05pm on 6/23/22 and WOW. Unbelievable night staff. Incredibly friendly, I change my mind from a 1 star to 5. Night crew is amazing.
I love taco bell but this location should be passed up. Not only did I not receive the items that I ordered, but when I got to the window to pay they asked me 3 times what it was that I ordered and it still was messed up. Not to sound like a Karen, but I asked to speak with the manager to sort it out and he said thats just how it is, thats how my guy rang it in. Sorry. Ive worked in fast food before so I get it. It was late, youre all tired, you make tacos all day, but I was charged for 6 tacos when I only ordered 4. I would recommend the taco bell further down the road.
This is normally my go-to Taco Bell. This is the second time Ive been stuck in this drive-thru line for over a half hour, and Im still two cars back from the speaker. Theyre averaging about 4-5 minutes per car. So much for Taco Bell being fast food... Stay away until they can find some more employees.Tried again, and they randomly decided to close at 10pm on a Saturday night. Im done with this place.
When I arrived at 9:40pm there was probably 10 cars in front of me, and a million behind me. I patiently waited 20 minutes to order. The guy read back my door and was super apologetic about the wait. Noo worries! When I got to the window (whole reason Im writing this) the same guy, wish I would have gotten a receipt so I had his name.. greets me with a genuine how are you? I responded. When asked back, he said he was taco-rrific and I giggled so hard. Then as we were leaving he said, have a baja blast of a night... Boy taco bell, find this man and give him a raise!
Same Taco Bell that you get anywhere else, just much slower. They also ask you specifically how many sauces you want and literally count them out instead of just doing the typical Taco Bell thing I giving A handful. there has also been a few occasions where they have forgotten food as well and if you don’t immediately drive back up there they’re not willing to do anything to help you.
Another Taco Bell close by has consistently served messed up orders, stale shells, and poor customer service. The last two times I’ve been here they’ve given me exactly what I want, loaded up and fresh. Even late at night. I’m very pleased with the store and will continue to come back whenever I have a craving.
Ordered two cheesy gordita crunch and two beefy burritos all of them had an almost invisible thin line of meat only half way through, for $13 I expected more meat than a taco not less... I give up on taco bell, this used to be the last good one left guess Ill have to save my money and get real Mexican food, wait what the hell was I thinking come ng to taco bell? Hit up the taco trucks in Pontiac and get real tacos my friends do it not for me but because you love yourself and have a soul
I usually dont write reviews but, felt that I should with an issue that I have. I donate to several different charities throughout the year, for different causes. I believe its good for the soul to give, when and if you can. However, I like to choose when and to who I donate or give to. I find it seriously unprofessional and annoying when a business asks me, especially in front of other people or strangers, if Id like to round my order up to the nearest dollar or, if I want to make a donation to whatever the cause is. I recently started to say, no thanks , when they ask. I usually visit taco bell 1-2 times per week. I know, not a very healthy diet. Those days are over, for now at least or, until they stop pushing donations at the drive thru. NO THANKS TACO BELL!! For now anyway. 😉
We just dont go to Taco Bell anymore because we feel they are overpriced for what you get. But today we decided to go there anyways. They were not busy and there was plenty of staff inside and yet all of our food was just slapped together and cold. We will not be back to this location.
Good food and good customer service. Employees need more training though. Tonight I ordered 2 5 layer burritos with no nacho cheese and extra sour cream, the whole burrito was bean and cheese and the last bite included a little bit of sour cream and meat. Last time I ordered the same thing I received the same weird burrito, so this is an ongoing problem
Came here 3 times around 10:40 didnt leave until around twelve, had to drive back there 3 times because they messed up our simple order, which was 4 things. By the time we left our food was cold, and they refused to give us what they forgot to give us, then they called the police because we refused to leave because they wouldnt give us the food we paid for and waited for, the manager with the pink hair is the most disgusting rude lady Ive ever met. Im usually extremely nice to fast food workers because I worked at taco bell before and I understand the rush, but this lady is extremely rude and should not have the title of a manager if shes this is how shes going to treat customers. Will never be coming back to this taco bell again. Messed up our order so many times.
This particular taco bell has the best staff of any fast food restaurant around. They always put the exact right amount of each ingredient in everything and the people are super nice. I regularly drive across town to go to this specific taco bell instead of the one by my house because its worth it!
If I could give a 0 star I would, literally messed up my order and of course there is 10 cars in line now, told me I had to get back in line so they could fix my order, I asked if they could just run it out and she chuckled and said no, what a joke. Im not waiting another 20 minutes for the order that should of been right in the first place, go 10 minutes down the road to another one, havent been to it but it has to be better then this s*** hole
This is always my favorite taco bell, I drive an extra fifteen minutes just to get to this one. The staff is friendly, they always get my order right, open 24 hours and they are hardly ever out of supplies. I usually work midnight shifts so its nice to have somewhere to grab a quick bite when I get off of work. This taco bell parking lot is my favorite 2AM haunt. Thank you, Taco Bell.
This is among the best taco bells.Ive been going here since I was about 3 years old, and when I visit a different Taco Bell, the different ones are either more expensive, or all shell, with some exceptions. But this one would surprise me if they skimped.Plus the inside is nice enough. But the drive-thru will trap you once you get in line.In 2018, I noticed the staff completely turned over. There are good people there, but also people who yell everything way too loud, so its like the dining area is part of the noisy kitchen.Also I noticed the owner/manager guy (who is usually good) was in a mood, being rather harsh to at least one of the staff and the whole place was reeling from the negativity. I dont expect perfection, but the culture of the store has seen better days.
This evening, their drive thru was closed and they were short staffed. This caused a lot of people waiting in the lobby. Despite a bunch of white trash wannabe Waterford losers trying to give the hard working employees hell and asking if “the city knew how they were operating tonight” thinking they knew what they were talking about, as the city has nothing to do with a restaurant being understaffed, the crew handled the situation very well. It isn’t their fault that a worker may have been sick or had an emergency. Some customers need to learn some patience and respect and realize when a team is doing their best. Good job Taco Bell! I’m so sorry about the situation.
This Taco Bell drive through is the slowest drive though I have ever been in. Plus the design of the parking lot traps you in line with no sign of escape. I am currently sitting in line and wishing I could have left 20 minutes ago.This is the last time I will coming to this location.The staff and the facility are friendly and well maintained.
We got the loaded nacho fries, a few burritos and a Carmel apple empanada. The food was cooked well and the service we received was fast. We had a custom order and they got all of the extra specifications right. There was nothing extraordinary or anything bad to speak of so I give it an A rating.
Ordered dinner for the whole family after me and the wife both worked late and didnt feel like cooking. They forgot three or four items the first time through,no big deal get the kids fed then go back to get the other items that were paid for already. All the stuff they did not forget was put together very poorly I couldnt even tell what was what. When I went back to get the other items they gave me a hard time like I was trying to get free food from them. They ended up making the other items one of which was cinnamon twists they even got that wrong and gave me some Cinnabon things. Terrible service one of the worst Taco Bells Ive ever been to.
Entire order messed up was charged for a meal when only wanted a chalupa, was charged for extra meat and was not added to nacho, tacos cold, cheesy gordita crunch was sloppy put together and broken sad part is that is not even everything that was wrong with the order! Attempted to call but received a mailbox full message. This is unacceptable
Ordered for 2 people they messed everything up on my order taco was in the bottom of the bag with no wrapping they forgot half of the food I ordered this place has probably the most incompetent workers Ive ever seen and I work fast food its not hard to just double check an order I was the only car in line
The food is always amazing, the service is ehh. After waiting in the drive thru line for 20 minutes we finally got to the window and the kid asked if we wanted sauce (asked for a lot), 30 seconds later he handed us the food, and we pulled out of the parking lot. I check the bag and find no sauce at all. Just a mistake that could have been avoided if the worker had done his job in the first place. Not to mention going into the store to get sauce myself was a pain, being that the wind chill is -20 degrees.
I ordered two of the chicken power bowls. They were okay in taste, however the quality of the items put together was very poor. One had almost no sour cream in it and the other had a huge glob of it. The chicken I believe was made for one but split into the two. Disappointing.
This owner doesnt care about their customers!!!! They cant even have the respect to follow up when they have a call from a customer when they call corporate. Just rude, disrespectful.... I would rather give money a company and person who cares about their customers and realizes they wouldnt be successful without them.The food.... 50% is always wrong. Who makes a quesadilla that half of it doesnt have cheese! Its not rocket screen people
My wife and I waited in line for twenty minutes (only four cars ahead of us). When we got to the window, we were told they were out of several ingredients necessary for our order. We left. Under no circumstances should any restaurant run out of the food they are trying to sell.
Like 4743 Dixie Highway taco bell, you guy are incompetent. I can find more cinnamon sugar on a new born baby than your cinnamon twists. I don’t know what it is but everytime I go in on my way to school, usually 10-11 your pop machine seems watered down. Bathrooms are unsanitary, and Ive worked in the food business before- youre obligated to have proper hygiene to prevent foodborn illnesses from contamination. You guys suck at reading orders. Ive been shorted here so many times, and i don’t come back for my orders because i have a schedule that doesn’t rely on cabbing botched orders back and forth- such as the time i came in for a beef chalupa supreme, got a doritos locos taco. Went back, refunded it for the same thing, got a chicken chalupa supreme. For your best interest decide if your staff are the wooden legs for your table, or if they’re just driftwood floating into your business. Maybe have them read a book aloud and see how fast the words come out of their mouths🤪
Ordered extra beef. On 3 tacos.. got to my second one,and went to the counter to ask if it had extra beef. They didnt even want to look at it. I opened it and they still couldnt tell me if I had it on there. So I just went back to my seat and put my last 2 tacos together.. extra beef. Charged for it too. Last time.
So, I love Taco Bell. As a vegetarian, there arent a lot of options for me in fast food. (Not exactly a bad thing). And I come to Waterford to visit my boyfriend frequently and this is my go to on-the-go place to get food. Every time I come here which is usually between 9pm-12am my order is always messed up. Today I ordered a potato soft taco with no cheese, and a veggie cantina power bowl fresco. They added cheese to my bowl, and REFRIED beans which is made with animal fat. And I paid extra for potatoes and there was like 3 potatoes. Lol. And on my potato soft taco they put a few potatoes and a couple pieces of lettuce. Not to mention this Taco Bell is a one lane drive thru and you cannot leave if you want to. The drive thru is backed up for 30 minutes and you are forced to sit there.
I went through drive thru and ordered a late lunch. I ordered 2 crunchy taco supremes with no tomatoes!I got to work and both had tomatoes! I am highly allergic to tomatoes! Therefore I could not eat them. I went without lunch . They need to hire someone that can read the order better!
The portions of meat have continued to shrink. Just increase the amount of lettuce and no one will notice, right? Couldnt even taste the meat on the tacos... Dry and sparse. Closer to a veggie salad in a taco shell . Are there no longer corporate quality control inspections?
This is oafishly the longest time I have ever waited in a fast food lying to actually get food I would have already left had the design of the parking lot not been made so that you are not allowed to pull out of line if it is taking forever to get what you were wanting I have been sitting here for 42 minutes now absolutely ridiculous I thought this was fast food
Super suprised noone has mentioned the fact that it takes 30 mins to get food here at night. Im not exaggerating. This is a consistent thing. Dont go after 10 unless ur willing to wait. I wish I still had the picture of my crunch wrap from the first time this happened! There was nothinggg inside. Like imagine it with sprinkles of each ingredient. I was maddd.I added an extra star bc my food was super fresh tn, but Im still irritated it takes so long.
We just went there and got two #6s in the drive thru. Lets start with how I had to swap my pop because is was completely nasty. The next one was nasty as well but by that time we had pulled out so just forget it. Lol lets get to the food our shells were cold and hard!!!! Who wants a cold hard chalupa shells!?! Nasty nasty nasty. Super unhappy. Ill drive to dixie next time.
Sitting in the dinning room right now, got 6 people waiting for food at the counter, my family and I have ordered and paid. Been 15 min + and still no food yet.....OK we got our food, just watched one of the waiting customers grab a dinning room chair and sit down in the counter area
Very very slow !! After waiting for 35 mins in drive through after they took my order you get to window and they say sorry we are out of beef can we substitute with chicken or steak !! WTH. Not happy at all . Was there last weekend around. 11pm and waited in line for like 40 mins . Very very slow !!
Stop here for lunch a lot and they seem to not be able to do simple math..i get a taco 12 pack every time and every time i get 3 sauce.. for 12 tacos The next time this happens ill be coming in and taking 500 sauce packets.. because u scamming me over the past year prob adds up to that..
I’m sick of this place. One of the worst Taco Bell’s but also the closest to me. I don’t normally care enough to review fast food but the amount of times I have ordered through the app so a co-worker can pick it up just for them to give me the wrong items is getting ridiculous.
I usually forgive a fast food place for errors in order, but it happens too often here, and the icing on cake, last time the order was via a delivery service, so the entire order was printed and had time to be confirmed before it went out, and they still made errors (missing items, no sauce even though ordered on ticket, etc)
I ordered a crunch wrap with extra nacho cheese and there is NO nacho cheese on it even though i paid for it, i wont be back.It was a beef crunch wrap but it only hav lettuce and tomato.i didnt order a veggie crunch wrap i order a beef crunch wrap with extra nacho cheese.
Well apparently they dont teach there employees the difference between beans and meat my whole order was wrong everything that was supposed to be meat was beans and visa versa I called when I got home and all they could say is if you want to drive 20 min we would remake your order .

2022-03-01Its Taco Bell. The experience I had was good. The staff were friendly, the food was Taco Bell good. The Taco Bell chain quality and service can vary from day to day and shift to shift. Sometimes they forget stuff or the taco is more a walking taco before you get to eat it. However, the store on Highland Rd. in Waterford, has the most consistency for excellence.

2022-05-10This taco bell loves to mess something up with my order every time. Today they decided to ask what sauce I wanted and forgot it. Again. Instead of giving me the tacos fresco style (or explaining that they no longer do that, if thats the issue?) they just put in lettuce and tomato. Im done going to this dumpster location.

2022-05-23Horrible service, trapped for a half hour in a drive thru line that is designed where you cannot get out of it. Didnt have Mexican Pizzas and no apology for that or the wait. When I tried to complain they were incredibly rude and dismissive and the manager refused to give me his name and accused me of flipping out (I wasnt). Never returning and I will have that managers name by the end of the day tomorrow 🤨

2022-05-18Your customer service is absolutely garbage. I just came through with a very specific order as I have food allergys. The entire order was made incorrectly and had every item that I said to not put on the food. And then when I called 8 times to talk with someone about it I was hung up on every time. Your location shall never see my buisness again.

2021-04-14Took well over 15 minutes in the drive-through, just to have the representative be rude with me because it took three seconds to put my debit card away in my wallet. The second thing is the food is prepared by preschoolers, there was just about enough beef in my nachos for three chips and the chips were completely stale. Won’t be returning to any Taco Bell anytime soon and never this location!

2022-06-10Absolutely braindead employees cannot even complete a basic order off the menu. I ordered a number combo and they gave me something completely different that was worse and terribly made. I double checked at the window and they were yelling at me. This is one to avoid.

Best visit @ a fast food restaurant I have ever had and best staff I have encountered! Will make sure to stop by next time I am in Waterford in hopes of getting the same crew!

2022-01-13They close at 7pm. So if you’re a working person and wanting to grab dinner for your fam when you get off at 7pm, don’t bother wasting your gas. What kind of taco place closes right at dinner time? This is so dumb! They should just close this location.

2022-01-12While I usually get great service at this location, I visited to get breakfast this morning. They had all their signage for breakfast up and nothing to say they werent open. Two cars were in the parking lot, so I knew there were employees there. I was not greeted or warned that they were not open. I had to go check Google only to find out they open at 11am. Please, if you change your hours and food options, either take down your signage or put up some sort of warning.
