Comment: Like many, we were concerned about all the news about State Farm dropping current customers. During our annual review, our agent explained the criteria used in determining which customers would be cut. Luckily, we didnt fall into those categories and we were assured that we were safe, at least for the coming year. Of course, premiums did go up significantly, but not to the gouge level of Farmers, which caused us to leave them last year. So far, we are happy with both our local agent and State Farm.

Comment: I recently decided to change my auto insurance because my old insurance went up so much and I couldnt get a hold of my agent. I reached out to them after business hour and they still got back to me so fast! I stopped by the next morning, and Ralph helped me set up a new policy right away. He took the time to explain everything to me thoroughly, and I now have better coverage and am paying less! By the way, their office has parking and so clean, and the staff are so friendly! Now patiently waiting for Statefarm to reinstate rental insurance for us Californians.

We realize that special requests have a normal turnaround time of 24 hours but we got caught with a situation as art conservators and needed a specialize vehicle, a certificate of insurance and an actual change in our plan and Rosie was able to quickly accommodate us in a matter of hours. Comment: I got more coverage, for a cheaper price, from a better rated insurance company. Why didnt I do this sooner?! I had been with Travelers for about 7 years and decided it was time to shop around. Tammy was responsive, professional, and explained why, in her expert opinion, my coverage would likely be insufficient to rebuild. I live in a high fire danger zone and we have evacuated on many occasions due to either fires or potential mudslides. She answered my questions honestly and was friendly. There are also bilingual agents on her staff. Well worth the call!

Comment: I moved to Santa Barbara three years ago and had my insurance online with USAA. I prefer to have an agent and when I met Tammy I knew she was the one. I have moved all of my policies to her care and she went through an exhaustive list of questions with me as she was crafting my policies.
