We went to Teresita on 3/6/21 around 5pm. It was our first time dining in and it was the day after our beloved dog died so we definitely had the blues. However, our server was outstanding and truly brightened my day. At one point, a cook came out to help the server and he too, was very friendly, kind, and energetic. They both seemed genuinely happy to be working. And the food is great too!
This place is so good! Im biased toward smaller, family-owned places. They make their own salsa, and all food that Ive had is delicious. Ive been getting take-out, and its enough to feed me for at least two and sometimes three days -- you wont go hungry! Its family owned -- dad runs the kitchen, mom waits tables and takes cash, and daughter does a little of everything. Dad wants to make sure everything is just right. If its not, just tell them. He will fix it so you like it. I wish I could give it 6 stars!
So we tried takeout from this place about a year ago, and the food was so bad we threw it away. The reviews were good, so we thought it might have been an isolated incident and we tried it again today. The food was very bland and not at all fresh. I have no idea how the reviews are so good, I’d much rather eat Taco Bell. The owners should eat at Los Tres Amigos and take some notes. This is bottom shelf Mexican food.
My family of 8 stopped in there on a whim last night. We were just passing through the area, and were craving Mexican food. We’re so glad we did! The food was delicious! All 8 of us were very happy with what we ordered. The food came pretty quickly too. And the waiter (maybe he’s the owner?) was super friendly & funny, and not in a weird awkward way. We wish he’d open up a restaurant in Three Rivers, MI!
Ordered the 2 taco lunch. The chorizo one was AMAZING the pork one tasted like really dry chicken so not sure if I got the chicken or just the worst pork taco ever. I really liked the decor and vibe. I would have liked it to be a bit warmer, me and my friend couldn’t take our coats off because it was so cold BUT the server was VERY friendly and VERY fast. The chips and salsa were excellent. I will 100% be back (but won’t order the pork... or the chicken just in case).
I walked in for carry out and felt welcome immediately! The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff was super friendly. The food was mind blowing! My family and I really enjoyed our experience! If you havent tried this place youre missing out! We will definitely come back for more!
Refried beans & quesadilla good. Rice dried out. Burger lacked flavor, as well as salsas.Chips just fried, so very greasy. Paper bag should have been doubled.. This was a to go order. Cheese sauce tipped, & ran onto floor of car. It looked curdled, since it had chirezo in bottom of cup. White flour tortillas no flavor, & cold. Disappointed.
Good service friendly staff. The food was not well prepared. Service took over 50 minutes for a lunch plate with little and prep work, with only one customer in the whole restaurant. Tamales tasted old and sour and the rice was dry and old tasting. Maybe dinner service is better but I didnt even want to finish my meal. Maybe look for another lunch place for 8$ a plate.
Me and my husband love Mexican, so we wanted to try this place near our home, honestly not sure where all the 5 stars is coming from, this was far from authentic Mexican, the rice was so dry couldnt eat it, the beans was super salty, I ordered the enchiladas and was probably the worst Ive had, my husband ordered the steak fajitas and he didnt eat them, it was really bland. We will not be returning
Great little Mexican restaurant, very authentic. I understand that authentic Mexican food is not overly spicy, but Americans like to spice it up. So the food here is not terribly spicy, but very good. Everything is good friend, because if you order takeout, it will take at least 20 to 25 minutes to get your order. There isnt anything microwaved here. There is one owner-cook, and hes great.
Waitress was very nice. Food was not very great, pretty bland. Got the chimichanga, enchilada, and tamale and none of them were very underwhelming. Between my wife send I we had three different utensils that still had dry food on them. Nothing was fresh and tasted very thrown together. I dont plan on coming back.
The waitress was very nice. She understood when I asked her if any of the ingredients have flour, because I eat gluten free. The food was very delicious and fresh cooked. The ingredients look fresh, and the lunch portion size was the size of a large dinner.FOR the PRICE, it CANT be BEAT!
Check Facebook page if youre looking for a menu.— Google doesnt use paragraphs so see Yelp for full review —Staff was very nice, place was clean and priced right. However, the enchilada had a bit of undercooked ground beef. Even though I didnt, it was still edible and just a little pink still, not raw like another review.Overall, it was decent and thats about it. I understand how some reviewers love the place but also how some others are not fans or have had issues. I am not opposed to eating here again, but at the same time dont really plan to. If I do come again, Id probably order the same thing.
Probably the worst Mexican restaurant we have ever ordered from . Taco Bell has more flavor and fresher quality .My family got chili rellenos, chimichanga dinner , cheese onion enchiladas and pork tamales. Everything was very bland the chili rellenos was under fried the enchiladas were not in enchilada sauce the tamale container looked microwaved the chimichanga was missing the lettuce, tomato and sour cream and the red sauce tastes like ravioli sauce from Campbells Too many negative aspects about everything Price is ridiculous for the low quality and care/effort put into the food all of our beans were sour and the rice is instant very dried out . We are all just hoping we are not sick tomorrow 😷😷
Cant figure out the positive reviews here. It started off bad from the second we walked in the door tonight. Walked in, there was not one patron in the restaurant, nor one employee to be found. We waited almost 5 minutes before someone came from the kitchen to seat us.After that - it got worse. We ordered and had questions and the waitress said she would come back to answer our questions about menu items - she never did.I also ordered a fajita salad with no beans. The waitress said, No beans? I said, No beans. About 15 minutes after ordering, mind you - we were the only people in the place, she said they were out of something my child ordered. Okay. Carry on and order something else.About 15 minutes after that (30 mins after ordering) we received our food in parts. My fajita salad was LOADED with beans. When I asked her about it, she said, You didnt ask for that. She offered to replace it - and I told her I was over it and I didnt want to wait another 30 minutes. She didnt apologize or anything. She never came back to our table. We didnt have enough silverware at our table for three of us. I got my own. Our party was out of drinks, needed their sides (ranch, salsa, etc.) And she simply came back and put the bill down about 20 mins later. No one else was in the restaurant.I told her I was unimpressed. No sorry - no manager - no anything. I never ate.Our son went to put hot sauce on his meal and the bottle at the table was so caked and disgusting, it wouldnt come out. I switched bottles from another table - same thing. Caked on yuck all down the sides of bottles. We will never return. Terrible service and my family said their food was bland. I never got a chance to eat - so I dont know.
I give this place two stars only because the server was good the food was tasteless the chicken was awful steak was dry the shrimp was dry . I paid 14 bucks for a mixed fajita dish where all the meat Together made one small fajita. Definitely more peppers and onions than meat
Awful. All the other reviews must be fake or they changed ownership. The owner was horrible, all of our food was made wrong, tried to bill extra without telling us, the cheese dip was chunky and nasty and cold and watered down. Overall, it was ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE. Salsa was watered down. Honestly, just don’t go.

2022-02-24Food was amazing. I ordered lunch for my team and everyone was able to select what they wanted. There were gluten free and vegetarian options and everyone raved about their food. Price was perfect for the quality food we received. The people were happy to help and made absolutely sure everything was correct with my order. Very impressed.

2022-05-02A big thank you to Teresita for catering a party we had over the weekend! We wanted a build-your-own nacho bar, and Teresita was able to provide what we needed. Everyone enjoyed the food and we had more than enough chips & toppings.

2019-12-15The Veggie Fajitas with Shrimp added were Soooo Tasty!!!!! And Plentiful. Hot plate was not oily like many other restaurants. They also had that added bit of flavor unlike restaurants. I asked Rudy (the owner) what his secret was and he said it was made with Love. Rudy was very visible in the Dining area and made sure all of the Customers were happy. The complimentary nacho chips were freshly cooked, crunchy and the best we ever had! The salsa was Delicious. We also ordered the combo plate which was Equally Fantastic! This place is A Definite Go to for Delicious Mexican food.

2022-01-22Rudy and his family have brought a little bit of México to New Hudson and I love it. It’s not authentic chilango street tacos style, but it’s not supposed to be. It’s a better version of the Mexican food we know and love. We’ve made it a regular stop on my family’s rotation and look forward to it every time. Plus, they added outdoor seating in a really tight space to try and accommodate everyone during the pandemic. I can’t wait for their bar to open next door! Salud!

2022-02-08First time here (our salesman at Feldman Chevy recommended it while we waited on our new truck paperwork to get processed). The food and service were great...it was just a little chilly inside.

2021-11-03A small business worth supporting 100%! The food is always good & staff is always friendly! Food comes out in a timely manner & is fresh. Ive been to a couple chain Mexican restaurants but they really are sub par compared to Teresitas!
