The BEST bridal shop for discounted one of a kind dresses. This was the first shop I went to and I found the dress of my dreams! The staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. I loved the variety,Vera Wang donates dresses there so that give you a idea of the quality. My dress was from Barcelona, very high quality and great deal! Best of all, all dresses are a tax write off, all the money goes to help cancer patients in the Ann Arbor area. There is no better gift than the ability to help others and I was able to do that by simply purchasing the dress of my dreams, incredible! All staff are volunteers and the building is donated so this is a 100% donation. Perfect for any bride of any size, they have a seamstress on site who works wonders and is extremely affordable. I would recommend The Brides Project over and over!
I had the worst experience here. I’m a bridal 12/14 and my volunteer body shamed me my whole appointment. I left feeling so bad about myself and my body. I reached out to them after to tell them about my experience and they didn’t even reply to my email (but had replied to all previous emails so I know they check their emails). Terrible experience. Don’t go here unless you have a “perfect” size 2 body.
I found the most perfect wedding gown at The Brides Project. I had heard about their mission from my mother and decided I had to check them out. Having lost my grandfathers due to cancer, it was important and meaningful to support the cause. The stunning dress, combined with the purpose behind it, made me feel like I was honoring my grandfathers on my big day. The Dress was stunning, the perfect choice and got many compliments. I would recommend TBP to anyone looking for a wedding dress.
My dress shopping experience was underwhelming until The Brides Project. A great place to support with options to fit any budget, Im so thankful for my dress and the whole experience with these wonderful volunteers. Thank you for being a part of our day with this amazing dress!
Went with my best friend to help her find her wedding dress. This wouldnt be the first place I would go to get a wedding dress but if you are looking for something on a budget this isnt a bad place to start. What I liked:All dresses are donated and all of the proceeds go to cancer research / patients. They take care of the dresses that are donated - you must clean your hands when you enter the shop. The workers are volunteer but truly do care about your experience. What I disliked:Due to the popularity of the place we were stuck in a closest for my friend to try on her dresses. The aisles of dresses are so crowded that its hard to see the selection without picking and pulling apart every dress.Like I said - awesome place, you can really find some true gems here. They do have quite the selection, just keep in mind the amount of people you bring.
The philosophy of this wedding dress shop, the wonderful volunteers, and the fabulous selection of wedding dresses makes this place a complete package for any bride to find her perfect wedding dress. I was able to find a dress in exactly my size that only needed the length changed for alterations! I highly recommend The Brides Project to brides inside and outside the Ann Arbor area.Photo Credit: Garrett Gormley Photography (Holland, MI)
I got my wedding dress from here a year ago and it was the BEST experience. The volunteers were super patient. They had a variety of dresses and I tried on many, many dresses before finding this one. This dress even still had the tags on and was a great price. And the best part, it goes to such a great cause!Highly, highly recommend to every bride looking for a dress in the area or anyone who has a dress to donate.(Anyone looking for a photographer, mine was the amazing @rachelnoelphoto on insta)
I had such a wonderful experience here! Lesley was my helper, and she was a delight. She very quickly honed in on what things I liked and didnt, and I loved that she had my friend and family help pull things for me--they really appreciated feeling involved! The selection of dresses here was fairly large and were all very lovely. I wasnt sure what to expect in terms of budget, but I found that most dresses hovered around the $800-900 range. I away with a beautiful dress and felt great that I was helping others.
The store is absolutely wonderful. What they do for the community and brides on a budget its just great. They have a large selection of dresses in a variety of styles and sizes. They are very organized and super friendly. It is a wonderful place to shop and help cancer patients.
I can not say enough about my experience here and what a beautiful cause this is. They have a large variety of dresses and the staff was so kind and helpful every step of the way. I ended up leaving my first appointment with no dress and went to many other stores to just make sure I found the right dress. Well turns out, I couldnt get the first one out of my head from The Brides Project and I ended up with my dream dress :)
I came here because of what this place stands for as cancer has touched my family. The volunteers that work here are such wonderful people. Diane helped me pick out my dress and I couldnt be happier. I will definitely always be recommending this place to anyone. They have 100s of dresses, some that have been worn and some that havent.
Everyone should go to the Brides Projects first in their wedding dress hunt. There are so many pros to buying a dress from here, including: 1) Its supporting a great cause 2) There are a lot of dresses and styles to choose from 3) Youre not creating waste by buying a new dress and not doing anything with it 4) You save a lot of money! The volunteer staff that work there are extremely nice and very helpful in finding you that perfect dress. If you did buy a dress and wondering what to do with it...donate it to them!
Very friendly and helpful volunteers to help make, what can be a very stressful time and situation, super comfortable! And they had a very wide style of dresses. Throw the charity in there and you cant go wrong!Update: Returned for alterations, Jan was super efficient and you cannot beat her price!
Although I did not find my dress here, I cannot speak more highly of this establishment. Thank you to the ladies who made the entire wedding dress shopping experience one that I will never forget, and a special thanks to Lisa who was the most amazing consultant. I will be donating my wedding dress after the big day!
This is my second experience at this location, first being the bride. Both times were awful, due to the consultants. Having coming from boutiques, I couldn’t get out of there fast enough. The customer service from the red haired woman and blonde short hair was extremely unpleasant. The blonde made a comment about my size whom which my mother in law also heard, and the red head had a way of making you feel like she was the one whom made the dress and took my feedback negatively, even though her opening line was that she was not a designer and appreciated honesty.Honesty got me awkwardness, rude and weird vibes in which my entire party and myself were uncomfortable. The dresses weren’t pulled or clipped to fit, when I expressed disagreement with a dress the red head gave push back in a condescending comment. I could go on but my advice would be to find volunteers who are not snooty and are truly passionate about helping a bride find their wedding dress and making them feel beautiful, not like their a bother.
Beautiful dresses and excellent staff! The women who helped me out while looking at dresses were excellent! I believe Alice was the name of the woman who was helping me directly, and she was fantastic! She showed me all the different options, helped me find dresses that suited my style, and encouraged me to consider different aspects of each dress that might affect my comfort level. I cannot remember the name of the woman who greeted me at the door, but she was incredibly kind and helpful as well! Thank you for all your great work! Very satisfied with my time here, and managed to find my dream dress!!
I was greeted by several very friendly ladies and they were very professional and approachable. They gave me their opinions respectfully - because there are SO many choices that a bride has to make so sometimes I just want people to tell me what to do! - and I really appreciated that!
I love their mission a lot!I however did not like how rude and pushy the consultants were. I went on a weekend and there were two consultants that stood out to me going out of their way to “convince” me on dresses I specifically said I didn’t like at all. I would put on a dress that was not at all my style, share the fact that I did not feel like a beautiful bride and they would make me feel bad that I didn’t like the dress and try to convince me on it.I forgot the names of the consultants but one was blind and one was short and had dark red-brown hair
We got turned away before we barely walked in the door!!My sisters and I along with my 2 neices thought it would be a good idea to go look at wedding dresses since my sisters getting married in late August. I called 3 places and this place was the only one that said we didnt need an appointment. We get all the way there and not once did they say any rules over the phone and either is it listed on there website. As were walking up to the building at the front desk theres 2 ladys hawk eyeing us just leaning on the desk. Everyone walks in the building and Im barley in the door the youngest (4) goes up to the 1st dress she sees and goes to gently touch it and the lady instantly freaks out and tells us that they have an age limit of 12 and up. I wouldnt have been so upset with this encounter if she had been nicer about it the lady acted like she nocked it over or ripped it her gasp was that loud. It could of also be posted on there website or told to us before hand and was not.
I went in last week looking for a dress and I wasn’t able to find anything that really spoke to me, but narrowed down what I wanted. The consultant was so sweet and the store was amazing, with a large selection. I ended up finding a dress on Still White but still wanted an overskirt to complete the look. I knew exactly where to return! I called and was told they just got a huge donation of overskirts coming in (lucky me). I went in yesterday during my lunch hour with my dress and they found the perfect skirt to go with my dress within minutes! It took me a while to figure out which one I liked but of course I got the one that they picked out. I highly recommend this place to any bride looking for a beautiful dress on a budget and wanting to make a positive impact on the cancer community.
Absolutely amazing! I felt so at ease there and both Maureen and her daughter were so every helpful. They let me sift through hundreds of dresses and helped me try on what felt like 50. She actually is the one that found the dress I bought! All the dresses are assorted by size and although mine was at the higher end of my budget ($800) the other three I was trying to decide on were very reasonable in price ($150-400). The dresses were all very clean and they helped me by asking all the right questions to decide if I wanted it or keep going!!! I think my favorite thing is that I got an amazing dress but the money went back to the community to help cancer patients. Thank you Maureen and Carolina for being beautiful people and help both me and and the community! 🥰🤗
This was the most amazing experience for my mother and I. We went to the Bridal Project first and spent at least 3 hours with the wonderful volunteers. I ended up falling in love with the last dress that I tried on but didnt buy it. I had 3 more appointments to go to so I decided to wait. Two of them were later that day at other area bridal dress shops. After my experience with The Brides Project the other boutiques just didnt hit the mark. I went back the next day and got the dress of my dreams. Thank you for the magical experience and to the people who donated to such an amazing cause!
I went along with to help with my friend who was the bride. I was satisfied with their Coronavirus precautions, it was just us with a store attendant and another bridal group with their attendant in a different area of the store. I helped my friend into the dresses, which also ensured social distancing. They had a good selection of dresses, and get new dresses regularly. All the dresses are $1000 or less, some are used, some brand new. They have an in-house seamstress for alterations. The attendant picks dresses based on your preferences and the bride was able to try on as many dresses as she wanted during our appointment time.
I had a wonderful experience here! Kim and the other ladies that assisted me were very welcoming and helpful. The shop had a large selection of beautiful size 10 and 12 dresses (similar to a street size 6/8) as well as many in various other sizes. The dressing rooms and pedestal/mirror viewing areas were nice. The dress prices were great and the money goes to a great cause! I am so happy I went to The Brides Project and purchased my wedding dress from them!
LOVE LOVE LOVE the Brides Project!!! I purchased my wedding gown and veil here and had a wonderful experience from the beginning. The volunteers are friendly and helpful, and really know the inventory. The concept of the store is amazing as well that all the money goes to the Cancer Foundation. Jan Lee, the seamstress, is amazing as well! She altered a bridesmaid dress for me as well as my wedding gown. Very high quality work for an extremely low price. Brides - go to the Brides Project!!!!
This place is amazing. They accommodate all sizes (based on their inventory, of course) and have a great selection. The shop is run entirely by volunteers and they genuinely care about the bride and what the bride wants. They know their stuff and are so kind and generous! The director, Kim, is a doll, as are Cheryl and Jan! Jan is a magician, I swear! My best friend walked away with the dress of her dreams for an incredible price and the proceeds go for cancer research. You cant beat that! Ill be coming back myself to drop off my own dress. Thanks, ladies!
Very helpful and friendly staff, surprisingly large selection of dresses. Not all of the dresses are previously worn by other brides, some are donated from bridal salons that closed or otherwise cleared out their inventory, so many of the dress are brand new, never-worn! And the prices are fantastic, not to mention its for a great cause!
I had such a wonderful experience at the Brides Project, and cant recommend it highly enough. My consultant, Linda, and her colleagues Bette and Pam were so inviting and warm, helpful, attentive, and honest. The shop has a great selection of gorgeous, quality dresses and accessories. The volunteers quickly grasped my style and were creative in suggesting alterations or accessories to make things just right. Dont hesitate to go there and support their mission!
I bought my wedding dress here this morning and just want to say what a wonderful experience this was! I had the first appointment of the day and when I walked up to the counter, it was like walking into a party. The staff were really enthusiastic and I was absolutely amazed by how many dresses they had (veils, sashes/belts, jewelry and shoes too!)The place was really clean and in really good shape, with great lighting, a big mirror for trying on dresses and a platform to stand on. The staff (Linda, Monica and on occasion Jan) were really accommodating, helping me spin around in dresses with big trains so I could see the back. Monica stole the show, though. She was my consultant and was so much fun! She zipped me up, helped me in and out of dresses, encouraged me, joked with my mom (who was nervous about the whole thing, based off her own dress-shopping experience at a different place). She made the whole thing a lot of fun.All in all I tried on about 12 dresses, some from their $99 sale rack, and walked out with something really unique, comfortable and affordable. Best of all, my money is NOT going to some overpriced bridal industry company --- its going back to families right here in my community.I would absolutely recommend TBP to fellow brides!
I had THE BEST experience at The Brides Project! The staff was super friendly from the moment I walked in the door, and even though it got busy while I was there, they made me feel special and important the whole time. They treated me like they truly cared that I find the perfect dress and listened to my feedback on each one I tried (which was a lot!) to help find me exactly what I was looking for.And I did just that, I said yes to my dress! I absolutely love it, and I am super happy that the money I paid goes to a great cause rather than some faceless corporation. And, by the way, the prices were extremely reasonable.Highly recommend!
I found this place through a friend and was so impressed both by the general concept and my own experience. I was able to make an appointment on a Sunday, and they opened just for me! I was worried I wouldnt be able to find a dress in a small store like this, but I had the opposite problem, and had trouble choosing! The volunteers were incredible and made me feel beautiful and special! It may be small, but knowing I found an adorable, beautiful dress and that my money is going to a good cause is amazing! I dont have a single negative thing to say!
I bought my wedding dress from The Brides Project, it was a great experience. The staff were professional and very helpful. I was really please with the process and the dress I purchased. The seamstress was also a joy to work with. She helped me to feel at ease and the work she did on both my dress and my moms was perfect.
I love, love, LOVE this store and the cause behind it. I drove 11 hours from Minnesota in hopes of finding a dress I would fall in love with and to contribute what I could. I was pleasantly surprised with the vast selection I could choose from. Not only that, but the customer service was beyond amazing and more than I could ever ask for, especially since everyone here is a volunteer. I left with not only my dream wedding dress, but a dress for my rehearsal dinner and a veil! The store was beautifully organized, extremely clean, and everything was reasonably priced. I wish we had something like this back home. Thank you to everyone at the Brides Project!!!
So proud my daughter bought her beautiful wedding dress here recently! The staff was super accommodating and nice. Huge selection of beautiful top-notch gowns! What a wonderful place to buy a wedding dress and give back to the community! Special thank you to Rachel who was the perfect assistant to my daughter. Best wishes to you! ❣
Amazing store with a ridiculously large selection of dresses! Out of all the bridal boutiques I have visited, this had the most diversity in size and style. I appreciated the range because most stores only have a few designers available, this store has hundreds! Most of the dresses are brand new and there are tons of very modern styles available. It was nice having a range of sizes to try on because it’s difficult to tell if a design will be flattering in the wrong size and most boutiques only have one size available. The staff were extremely kind and gave great feedback (I worked with Mary and she was so attentive!) They were patient and did not pressure me to buy. They also have shoes, veils and belts. 💜 I purchased a brand new MORILEE gown for HALF the price and the icing on the cake was ALL THE MONEY goes to cancer families!!!!!! Im so happy to support my community! Will update with final pics after the dress is tailored :)
The women that helped were AMAZING. They were so nice and extremely helpful in the process of trying to find the one! They also explained where all the money goes when you buy from them and I 100/10 would support it ten times over. They have a wide range of dresses and veils in all sizes and types and they’re all clean and prices are EXTREMELY reasonable.
I love the concept and the dresses are beautiful and the place is clean. However, I had sent someone to pick up a belt that I had tried on with my dress (along with a photo)She was sold the wrong belt and didnt notice because she was rushed out of the store because they were helping other people.Less than 24 hours later I called to explain what happened and that the belt they sold her would not work and they should have known that from the photo and they knew my dress size. Clearly this belt wouldnt have worked. I spend over $900 dollars on my dress with them and they refused to let me exchange a $15 belt when it was their fault for selling me the wrong one. It still had the tags on it and obviously I didnt wear it because it was way too small.I understand and appreciate the return policy but this wasnt my fault and for the sake of 15 dollars the owner could have not been completely ridiculous. Really left a bitter taste in my mouth about the entire experience. Bad customer service :(
I am SO happy I found my dress at The Brides Project. I was initially very discouraged about finding a wedding dress. I currently live in St. Louis and while visiting my family in Michigan, I went to The Brides Project with my mom and sister and met Kim; I still need to ask her if it hurt when she fell from heaven, because she is an absolute angel! She made the entire experience SO enjoyable! I ended up saying yes to a dress that arrived that morning and it matched perfectly with my shoes and bridesmaids dresses (yes, I picked both before getting my dress). It felt like fate how perfectly everything fell into place. More importantly, I felt so good that what I spent on my dress (which was half my budget) was going back into the community to support local families. I get goose bumps telling people the story of my wedding dress. I am so touched by the kindness (not only with customer service, but also for the community) displayed by all the volunteers at The Brides Project. Beautiful dresses, beautiful souls, beautiful cause. :)
I purchased my wedding dress here with just two weeks until our very casual wedding ceremony. I have to say it was one of the most pleasant shopping experiences I have ever had. The people who work here are so nice and helpful and I love that the store supports those affected by cancer. The prices are amazing, the selection is great... please support this wonderful store!!!
Do not recommend donating here!! RUN!! I donated my wedding dress in October of 2018. Tracking showed it arrived fine, so I thought nothing of it. With any donation, and as promised on their site, I should receive a confirmation letter regarding the donation in the mail. I waited, nothing happened. I followed up a couple times with the Brides Project... and finally heard from someone. Something went wrong and my donation form was lost Makes me wonder what even happened to my dress! They requested I fill out the form again via phone 4/11. I did so and tried to be understanding that mistakes happen. I asked if they knew what happened with my dress since the form was lost and they had no answers. They would get me my donation letter through the mail asap I was assured. Well it is 4/23 and I have heard nothing, received nothing, etc. Not a well run organization and truly do not know what has happened with my $800 donation. I am extremely disappointed because I looked forward to donating my dress and it going to use to someone else, but they have ruined this experience for me.Edit - as an update, I did receive my donation letter through the mail for a 2018 donation, past 2018 tax deadlines in 2019.
My fiancé told me about this shop. I went in for an appointment not really expecting to find anything because I tend to be very indecisive. Of course, I ended up finding THE dress. My entire experience working with all of the volunteers was amazing. They were all encouraging, sweet, and not at all pushy. I would highly recommend this shop to any bride!! Plus you cant beat buying your dress for a good cause!
I got a wedding dress and helped families with cancer at the same time? This is an amazing place. Would recommend to all brides to be to stop by here. The ladies are all really nice and helpful and dont pressure you into buying anything like some bridal salons. It was also nice to have the alterations I needed done there by Jan.
An awesome idea, many beautiful dresses at good prices, but was HIGHLY disappointed with the staff. Both women were rude from the time we walked in. Our assigned person was too busy talking to someone to help us. Staffer yelled when we hung dresses on the rack to try on. She said they were stock to sell. Um, we were there to buy a dress? Then Rude Staffer 1 told Rude Staffer 2 that she needed to yell at the other bride in the store for throwing a dress on the floor. The lady flung their curtain open and followed the instruction of RS 1. Bride did not have dress on floor but on hanger and was trying to place back in dress bag by herself. RS1 communication to us example “If you would have listened to what I said the first time...” Seamstress was super friendly and polite. We bought a dress but staff needs customer service training.
Wonderful cause and a good selection of plus dresses! I found my wedding dress here and avoided all the stresses of ordering through a retailer. Best place to find a truly unique dress with character, made me love my dress so much more knowing it was for a good cause.
Unbelievably good experience. The dresses were so beautiful. They had a huge selection of simple, elegant dresses. The staff were warm and welcoming without being over bearing and it felt fantastic to know that the money was going towards such a beautiful cause. The entire staff (all volunteers) made the experience such a treasured memory. HIGHLY recommend.
My daughter had a specific type of wedding dress in mind, classic, simple, and short. She tried on several different styles and found two dress. One fit her original vision and the other dress combined her favorite features of all the ones she tried on. She chose the second dress and went from a girlish idea to a grown woman empowered by her choice. Thanks to the lovely volunteers at The Bride Project, my daughter found the grown-up version or her wedding day vision.
Huge selection, great volunteers, no pressure, good feels. Since it was a charity place, I thought it would be a little dumpy, but it was SO nice. I even found a $13,000 dress going for $650! (Apparently I like cheap stuff though because I ended up buying one originally $800 for $450 and could not be happier!) Theres even a $200 sale rack!
The Brides Project is where my dress hunting started and ended. The first dress I tried on (the first pick of my dress consultant, Linda) was the one I will get married in! Of course, to be sure, I tried on a few more beautiful picks by Linda... One of which I will wear to the rehearsal dinner. I ended up with two dresses and am thrilled with the dresses and the giving!
I went in as a Walk-in, an hour before close. I had intended to only look, and schedule an appointment for a later date. They werent busy, so I was able to try on several dresses. They work with you to see what your ideal dress would be, and are very willing to help. Plus, its for charity, which is great.

2021-11-02Dress shopping at The Brides Project was an absolute dream. I was a last-minute bride. My husband and I decided to plan our destination wedding in less than 80 days--so I needed a dress off-the-rack.TBP was my first dress shopping experience and what a positive, fun, and relaxing experience it was! I appreciated that the consultants encouraged me and my guests to look through the racks ourselves, but also provided input and suggestions based on what I liked and didnt like. In the end, I found a gorgeous dress that felt like it was made for me. My wedding dress was super unique and was unmatched by anything I found at the other bridal shops I visited. My consultant, Jan, was supportive, knowledgeable, and great to work with. On the day I was shopping, the seamstress (also named Jan) was there and was able to provide input about the alterations I needed--I appreciated having her there as the other bridal shops I visited told me they would not be able to complete my alterations in time for my wedding (10 weeks). Jan completed hers in a month.I recommend TBP to anyone who wants a wedding dress thats a little out of the ordinary and wants their dress purchase to make an impact on the local community.

2022-07-24I absolutely enjoyed and appreciated my experience at The Brides Project in Ann Arbor! Back in 2019, I made an appointment on a whim after finding them during a Google search. I went alone without my bridal party and all of the wonderful ladies in the store made me feel so special during my appointment. I ended up saying yes to my dress that day and couldnt have been more happier with the dress, experience, and support! I also appreciated that the proceeds went to cancer research. My grandma had passed of cancer, and I felt that this was a great way to honor her. I used the seamstress and was very pleased with the work that she did. The pricing was better than other places. I had many comments on my dress, and I, myself, felt amazing in the dress! I wholeheartedly recommended this place and know of a few other people now that have made appointments for their dress and/or veils. Thank you Brides Project for making me feel so special for my wedding!

2022-05-06This is THE place to buy a dress! The inventory is the best of any wedding shop Ive been to, its affordable, its good for the planet, and it supports a great cause.Heres how it works:1. The available dresses are nicely hung in clear protective bags organized by size.2. You browse the dresses in your size (there will probably be at least 60 to choose from). You can get as much help (or as little help) from the stylist as you like.3. You try on the dresses with the complete bridal experience (special room with your name marked, standing on a pedestal surrounded by mirrors, an associate giving you feedback and helping you adjust the fit with clips if needed). If you have a special question for the tailor, Jan, they will even face time here and you can get feedback on the spot!4. IF you find a dress you like, you purchase it and walk out of the store with it! They cant hold dresses for you but can put them in your favorites for when you return (but be warned that someone else could buy it)Again, I **cannot** recommend this place highly enough. If I did not live in Ann Arbor, I would still drive hours to shop here (but I might see if I could book two back to back appointments to have enough time to try on all the dresses!)

2022-07-04I tried on so many dresses at the Brides Project - they have an incredible selection of different styles! Their volunteers are kind and helpful. If youre like me and you dont want to pay thousands of dollars for a dress youre only going to wear once, check them out! Its for a good cause, too :)

2021-07-30I could not be more delighted with my experience with the Brides Project. I am a former hospice nurse and my dear friend and dress shopping partner is a former oncology nurse, so we were 100% behind the mission of the Brides Project from the start. I wanted to make The Brides Project my first stop for dress shopping, but to be totally honest I didnt expect that it would be my last. All of the bridal consultants were lovely and helpful. I think it probably does make a difference that they are not under any financial pressure to sell you a dress. There was a much wider selection of dresses than I could have imagined. I was able to try on every type of silhouette in multiple different fabrics. I quickly realized that the simple satin gown I was planning would be too hot and heavy for my garden wedding planned for mid July. When my consultant brought my dress out, even before I tried it on, my friend literally swooned on to a nearby chair and began tearing up. When I put the dress on I couldnt believe how light and comfortable it was, and how perfectly it fit. I never would have imagined myself in this dress, but when it was on I could see how phenomenal it was.The consultant team put no pressure on me, as I decided to have a glass of Champagne to think it over before committing. Could dress shopping really be this easy? Sure enough, I called a few minutes later and then came back to get my dress. My consultants had actually stayed late, knowing that I would be back and wanting to share that joyful moment with me.Oftentimes expectations for things like dress shopping are so high that the reality cant help but disappoint. Not this time. The whole experience was just a real joy. I feel enormously grateful to everyone at the brides project, for everyone that donates their own wedding dresses, and for the bridal businesses that donate dresses to the cause.Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.

2022-08-16I had a friend recommend the The Brides Project to me and I have since recommended it to many others! I saw the dress I bought on their Facebook the day before my appointment and knew it would be perfect. This dress was a donation from a dress shop and had not been used before, so that is an option if you prefer new dresses. Unlike other bridal shops, their selection is constantly rotating, so if you don’t find the right one you may need to be prepared to return again later. They do a great of posting new arrivals on Facebook. Also, while they do a lovely job of making this a very special occasion, make sure that you have your expectations set for what it is, a volunteer run bridal shop. It is nice inside but it is not glamorous and they won’t pop champagne for you when you say yes to the dress (although they will be thrilled and celebrate with you). But if you are looking for a high end experience, this is not it. But, you will be able to get a high end dress at a fraction of the cost! The dress I bought would have been way out of my price range at any other store!

2022-06-16Amazing expierence, great cause, and helpful staff and volunteers. I was not rushed, pushed to buy, or given a sales pitch. Great variety in styles and price ranges. Recommending this place to anyone shopping for a wedding dress!

2022-04-29What an amazing store! They sell wedding dresses that have been gently used or new wedding dresses donated from designers and give a portion of the profits for cancer research. It makes every penny seem more worth it.
