Comment: This review is for the customer service provided by Jordan (or Josh?) who works in the appliance section. We purchased a new washer and he made the process easy and simple. He was professional, respectful, and very patient as well. He hooked us up and was so helpful. Julia also helped me with the application for a Home Depot credit card and she was also great. Overall had an excellent experience!

Comment: I asked if they price match if their website shows a lower price and they said they dont. However, they did offer to give me a $3 discount if I took a survey. A dishonest one to make the associate helping me look good.The associate wouldnt let me leave the store until I finished taking the survey. I couldnt be honest in the survey as they were looking at my phone the entire time while I was taking it, and wouldnt let me select honest options. Basically, I was coerced into taking a dishonest survey about my customer experience. How can a company and their employees be this dishonest?She was also trying to blow smoke up my bum by asking me about race and skin care routine while I was trying to take said survey. She got racist at one point and thats when I just wanted to get out of there but I was half way through this survey.The other associates around us were just looking at me and laughing at me. This is not the experience I was expecting from a Home Depot. I should have just dropped everything and walked out.Tl;Dr asked if they price match against their own website. They dont. They offered a discount in the amount of the price difference if you take a dishonest survey about the associate that helped you.

Right now they have a really nice selection of Halloween home decor for inside and outside your home. Offered at better prices than the Halloween Store. There are only a few employees who work in that department and the one that helped me is one of the most helpful. He gave a demonstration of the tool and asked if I had questions then I was supplied with an Operating Manual. Customer service like it should be done.UPDATE: They hired more workers and are able to give even better service. The USED tools are not worth buying one is better off finding tools online. They are used rental items.

Comment: This Home Depo is the same as all the others but it is really hard to find anyone to help you at this Home Depo. Then I went out to the garden section to look for Venus Fly Traps. When I found them right next to the register all of them were dead from not being watered. Every bowl was dead dry and all of the Venus Fly Traps were wilted and dry. I took some bottled water off a near by shelf and watered them the best I could. I tried to tell an employee who was working in the garden area but I dont think he spoke English. It was simply sad.

If there was anything that I would say that isnt excellent its the parking because the lot is always full. Then again I have never visited this location and was unable to find a parking spot. All in all I would give them a 9.5 out of 10 stars. I will continue to come here for all of my home improvement needs.

Comment: My boyfriend and I had gone because we need to find better light switches for my room. I was trying to get a dimmer lightswitch. We had taken out my old one and found that it had burned on the inside, so it was definitely a good idea that I wanted to change it. We found out that we couldnt get the dimmer light switch for my specific circumstance. So we went with a regular one, and then just ended putting a smart bulb in there that I can control from my phone and dim the light, which worked out way better. The staff there was kind and willing to help and advise us of where we needed to go to get everything. I had also wanted a new shower head, the old one was breaking apart and was corroded. Its always nice going to this one, the people are always so kind and try to make you smile.

Comment: My husband ordered a shed for a project around Thanksgiving since there was a good time to shop for discount. The shed was diveried to the Home Depot store in Garden Grove. They offered to store the shed for us until we pick it up. We went there this morning and it was not there. The staff told us there were 2 sheds in their warehouse and 1 got stolen, then now ours was nowhere to find. They pushed us around with different staffs and told us to go home to wait for the managers call. Until now, after we wasted our time, still no apology from them. Then of the staff working in the office called us said they still couldnt find our shed and still dont know why it dissappeared. No offered solutions or anything. Then a staff named Oscar called us said that the only thing they could do is refund the money back after wasting our time for looking and shopping for a shed, and waiting, but still no apology . The staff Oscar was very rude and I would not recommend anyone to get his service. He blamed that he didnt know about the situation until he got there and did whatever the manager told him, he didnt even deal with us before. I think they need to train all their staffs about customer service, they are all needed coaching again. I would recommend to stay away from this store if you order any big dollar item and dont waste your time there.

Then, I had to wait in line to checkout the same way I would at a slammed Walmart.I know they cant do much about parking in such a heavily populated location, so I dont hold them at fault for that. The reason I took away a star is because a couple of their workers seemed annoyed and were not very friendly when I asked where a product was. Store is understaffed and hard to find an orange apron. Just a mixed bag of problems every time. Yesterday, I called to get info on rentals, hours, rates etc. Today i came in to rent a truck and got conflicting information from the woman who acted like she didnt want to rent to me. She said last rental is 6pm and it was 6:05. When I called for the info I was told last rental is at 8pm. After she gave in and chose to allow the rental she pulled another girl over to have me finish the paperwork, but was sure to nag me about returning the vehicle. When I got the keys they did not even tell me where or how to get the vehicle. I felt like I was inconveniencing them by being a customer. When returning the truck the gentleman I dealt with was much more helpful and had a better attitude. This home depot has 1 good employee for every 7 or 8 I run across, if Im able to find one. When doing client work or personal work i advise you to look for another neighboring home depot if you have the option and time allowance.

He said that was ok so long as I had a ID/DL for the paperwork.When I got there the gentleman behind the tool rental desk showed me a sign that said credit/debit only for rentals. A new policy that began December 1st. I was furious. I drove 30 mins and wasted over an hour and a half for nothing. Please make sure ALL employees are updated on new policies, gas isnt cheap.

Comment: This review is for the Christmas tree area. I was helped very fast and the gentlemen trimed and put a net for the tree. Im very pleased and i got a good 6ft tree for $50.00. 4 star because i had to walk in the store and it was raining, wish the cashier was available .

Comment: Very dissatisfied with HD employee Jennyfer whom i spoke to on the phone regarding price matching. She flat out told me, in a dismissive & less than friendly tone that they dont price match. HD needs to get good employees, good customer service is important. On top of that there is a sign in the store & online that HD stores price match. You are apparently not honoring your own words. Terrible service.

Comment: Everything that you need to fix a house or build a house is here! Well... not just house! Ive bought most of my construction stuff for my business here as well! Its considered as a mans playhouse but I love this playhouse! I see more & more females come in for random tools or fix me upper tips! They sell appliances & plants! I know its random but thats what gets the ladies in! We like to plant things to look at & things to eat! But appliances are very personal! Sometimes you have to go to places like Home Depot to get commercial quality appliances & fixtures for people who seriously know what they want! Although I do have those random trips where I cant find what I want but end up buying a candy bar or a heavy duty steel tumbler to drink water at work

Comment: A great place to shop and get whatever you want in the Home Improvement genre that youd ever want. Beware though that 15% of Home Depots stock is available only online. Otherwise a great place for anyone with tools and enjoys projects around the house. Just to go walking around for an hour or so. Hard to go in there and not come out with a small bag or a trailer full of items!

Comment: Returned itemHow to return an item and the line was long but because there were several people there it went very fast. Deducted one star because I had so many things I returned that it was difficult to walk to and from the return counter and I almost fell. I felt particularly bad for people who are disabled I dont know how in the world they get to and from that counter. Someone should really look into that.

Comment: I am looking for the toilet flush replacement, and could not found the one that i currently use which i purchase at Home Depot at the spare part section. the worker at spare part section was kind and helping me but wont able to find one. So i entered the section where they keep all the new toilet and saw one of the model as same as mine. The young and pretty with tatoo on her arm worker lady was there and I asked her that Do you know where I can find this flushing system.
