The Home Depot in other cities:
This is definitely one of my least favorite Home Depots to stop at. Hard to find help. Staff is generally disgruntled. Anytime Ive had to go in for parts for a job I generally have to hunt someone down and wait quite a while for help as most of the time that I am in Home Depot I I have to get orders that are paid for over the phone by the company that I work for and this one always slows me down and makes my day drag on.
Brought a picture and hand drawing of my plumbing problem with measurements and the gentleman that helped me in less than 4 minutes had everything I needed in my hand and gave me extra parts in case I needed them and told me to just bring them back for a refund if not needed and at the the price of gas today better to have them not have, thanks to the team member in the plumbing department today
Normally no one helps me at Home Depot. I blame it on that Im a woman, and black, but today there was one young man that was knowledgeable, and eager to help! It was the most pleasant treatment I have ever had at any Home Depot! For that, today 5 stars! Hopefully in the future more staff members wont walk past me as Im asking for help and be more like the gentleman that helped me today. Home Depot definitely needs to talk with their staff about customer care, despite whom the customer is. Just a suggestion.
The selection of wood is fantastic. I love how the workers can cut long boards so it can fit in your car too. The workers sometimes get on my nerves though, especially when you ask them for help and then they refer to someone else. On time I had three workers recommend another to help. By the time we walked to the forth worker I found the item. The self- checkout is very helpful. Overall, it is a good store but the staff could be a little more helpful in a big store like Home Depot.
Id give this Home Depot 10 stars if I could. Really outstanding customer service. I am always amazed at how good the employees treat customers. If you own a business, you could take lessons from this Home Depot on how to treat customers. Have had employees repeatedly go out of their way to help us and not just in finding stuff but other things as well.
Awesome place for all your home accessorie needs lumber, garden, lighting, paint they have it all. Even a great place to have keys made. Their key making kiosk is great super user friendly an works like a charm. Not made for car key copies but for house keys ect. Very nice addition. Overall if your looking for a spot to do home projects this is the place. Also friendly helpful customer service
Looking for a generator. Bad weather on the way! Ice-apocalypse! Polar vortex! Bomb cyclone! Or some such nastiness... Home Depot by me (smaller store) had a few on carts, ready to go, with gas cans and extension cord on the carts as well. Unfortunately, these Ryobi generators were WAY overpriced at $799. The only other machines they had were small units (less than 2000W), that were inverter generators. These, too, were priced very high, but they had fancy bluetooth connectivity! All in all, the gentleman working the generator area at Home Depot was very knowledgeable about all of his generators. Home Depot, youve got a great staff! Too bad you guys werent prepared for, whats being billed as, a major ice storm! Who knew?Btw, I found a gennie down the road at Menards. It has dual fuel (gas or LP), Briggs & Stratton engine. Puts out 500W less than the Ryobi for $399. Sorry guys.
I had the worst experience in this store. I bought a washer and dryer paid all this extra money for delivery. I paid in cash they never delivered it on the the day. I didnt get a phone call saying they were not coming. I had to call them. They were not apologetic. They rescheduled it a week later. They came and said they could not install they dryer. They could not take my old one. Then said it would not fit through my door that they could leave it outside. I refused the sell and told them I wanted my money back. They said I would have to call the store. So I did the manger said I would have no problem getting my money to come in the store that night or in the morning. So the next morning I call and talk to another manger he said no problem come get my money. I get there in the afternoon and they refused to give me my money saying they dont no where the delivery put the product. The manger saw they had the product. He called the store manager who I talked to the night before he told him to give me my money. He didnt no how and told me to come back 3 to 5 days and I paid cash. Something I thought that should have been easy was the worst experience of my life. I wouldnt recommend Home Depot to anyone especially the delivery service. Awful customer service! So I went to Best buy and got the same washer and dryer with great service. Home Depot lost a big sell and my service from this experience.
Daniela Greenie (flooring specialist) is the best, she goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. She took so much effort to help us identify the perfect blinds. She is very knowledgeable about blinds. She assisted us with regards to customer reviews on type of blinds. This made our selection easy.
I feel that THIS HD is interested in the customer. I was trying to get a large item on a flatbed when a young lady employee appeared to help. She even offered to help me get to the checkout. There I was assisted by Lisandro who was very helpful and even offered to help me load the item in my vehicle. I really like the AHs Home Depot
The cleanest best displayed Home depots in a hundred mile radius of Detroit. Home Depot is riding the wave of do-it-yourselfers right now and its a bad job to see what they see on YouTube and go home and think they can do what. professionals do. This location has an abundance of carts and material handling carts 👍
Worst customer service ever. I went in to order a solid surface countertop (not a small purchase). When we finally was able to get the attention of an employee, she said the person who does that works 9-5. I work those hours so, what options do I have? I saw groups of employees standing around talking, no one is cross trained? At least apologize and offer an alternative. Have the person call me the next day. Totally unimpressed, did not feel like my patronage was even slightly valued. I seemed to be a bother.
Nice Home Depot, I prefer this location over the other one, near by. The staff is always friendly. Went in to by a new track for a pocket door, they were out of them. Ended up buying a whole frame kit, to get a track. Ended up working out better, even though it cost twice as much. Store is typically clean, I was also there the day before and bought the last 4 sheets of green drywall on the floor. They seem to be having stocking issues. This used to be my go to building supply store, I find myself going to Menards more frequently.
I still feel their is a little price gouging going on here and there at some places you go to. Home Depot is a good place to go for home improvement items. They try hard to be fully stocked with what is needed for the customers. Try to visit multiple stores for the best prices. Always do price comparison before making a decision.
Im like Tim the Tool Man Taylor in here. They have so much and Im always in here. I only buy my flowers here. Great price and selection. Staff always helpful. My go to for so many items from tools to paint to little things like lightbulbs and potting soil. Love my neighborhood home depot the best. Others are nice but this one is close and my 1st choice.
Every time we have shopped here, at least in the last 3 months, the employee working the front parking lot collecting carts has been super courteous, helps unload our cart (even if its just some small bags), and wishes us a safe trip (or in this special case, a Happy New Year). It always has me leaving the shopping experience with a smile on my face and thinking, I should leave a review - so here I finally am!
The Home Depot has all the Hardware and Supplies we need to keep our shop moving in the right direction. Always a top knotch experience when we make a supply run. Granted this last visit I wouldnt of minded picking up some tools but I dont think the company would like to see that on their card :)
I normally wouldnt go out of my way to write a review, however, the gentleman that collects the carts at the Auburn Hills location is phenomenal. The few times Ive been there hes been very kind and helped me load something out in the parking lot without even asking. You can tell he truly enjoys his job. If there was an episode of Undercover Boss on Home Depot it would involve this guy and utilizing him for frontline training and hed be given a nice bonus. I spend a lot of time at various Home Depots and hes been a standout....enough for me to leave this review.
I like this store because you get good customer service. And, if one person cant help you then, they get someone else to help. Thats appreciated these days. Because most of the employees in any other store arent that helpful if at all. So, thanks go out to the employees at Home Depo!
This Home Depot is on par with others. The isles are clearly marked but sometimes it is still a search to find what you are looking for. When this happens there is usually someone nearby to help. My only complaint is the quality of the material is sometimes substandard, bowed and twisted boards, ripped bags, and the like. Its a clean well lit and marked warehouse.
My husband went in a bought a patio set and was told it would be off the truck at 9 Am the next day, paid for it and came back. It wasn’t off the truck and the “manager” told him he couldn’t give him a day or a time when it would be off the truck. Told my husband to be patient! And they see millions of customers a day so things fall through. He did not care at all about customer service. We just got our money back with no table or help!
I liked it because its The Home Depot. How can a person not like this place? All your home improvement needs. Helpful staff most the time. Lots of parking and all the rest. And if you dont like The Home Depot, theres a Menards about 2 minutes from here. And guess what? I gave them 4 stars too for the same reasons. Im not picking sides here. This isnt a one or the other sort of thing. I gave my 4 stars and thats that.
Were in the midst of relocation and had several unused moving boxes to return to Home Depot. LaTrece in Customer Service went beyond the call of duty to accommodate me. I didnt have my receipt. She patiently researched my order and made sure I was reimbursed accurately. We will return to the Auburn Hills location for such excellent customer care.
Some old guy working there (not wearing the orange apron, but the gray one) was unbelievably rude. Couldnt be bothered to look up from his phone. I told him he didnt need to help me find gloves, Ill find someone else too. He told me he cant help me if I dont know what Im looking for.Listen boomer, if you think youre too good to work at home depot, dont work at home depot. Everyone else was perfectly fine.
I’m usually a home depot fanatic. My entire bedroom is home depot themed. When I was little, I dressed up as a home depot worker for Halloween. However, this store was a massive step, you could even say a cliff, below my expectations. It’s as if they were submerged in the ocean and drowned. Even Lowes provided a better experience. First of all, the hot dog was below subpar, and the temperature lukewarm. Next, the orange was slightly worn out. Overall, it provided me with a job and was the best store I’ve been to.
First the Auburn Hills store has the worst inventory. ‘Sorry we’re out’ is quoted 50% of time. Quality level of choices have dropped substantially meaning you have cheap and cheaper to choose from.Too often you’re teaching the salesperson that, yes there really is such a tool.
When I walk into Home Depot i am used to superior customer service and workers that are helpful. This Home Depot has subpar service and the workers at this location are completely rude. In addition the two people working in the paint department today were not helpful at all.
Hands down my favorite Homedepot!! The staff is amazing and always takes great Care of us!! (Merideth is the best, and I believe it is Veronica who was super helpful) Jeremy the manager is Super Awesome and makes sure to always go above and beyond!! I HIGHLY Recommend this store!! Thank you Homedepot of Auburn Hills for taking such great care of us!!
Website quantities are never correct. Called and asked if they had certain products, we were told over the phone they did. Upon arrival they told us we had to go to 2 other stores if we wanted the items that day. Rented a tool that same visit and when returning it the younger gentleman was rude and impatient, gave lots of attitude to my girlfriend when I walked outside. Luckily the older gentleman working the tool rental counter was very nice and made up for the jerk who was working beside him.
I wanted to get a measurement for a door. After a week, I hadn’t heard from anyone so I called. The paperwork wasn’t processed correctly. A couple days later I heard from a guy and set up an appointment to get it measured. He canceled a couple hours before and I haven’t heard from him again. I have called twice and sent a few texts. No responses.I even called Home Depot to look into it. Nothing! Three weeks. No response.Do not use this store.
Call before you go to buy anything you find in stock there! Drove from Waterford, to auburn hills, to Pontiac, only to find the tool I wanted was not in stock anywhere, even though their website showed 2 in stock in Pontiac. Even an associates inquiry showed 3! There were none to be had! Another life lesson trusting a company will keep their website up to date!
Went there on a Friday to pick up gardening supplies and left a bottle of Dr. Earth plant food in the cart without even realizing it. Went in Saturday with my receipt to see if they would be able to help me at all. When I went to the front desk the young gentlemen at the customer service counter remembered a bottle of plant food being left behind and returned it to me. I was so happy and grateful. You have good people working for you. Thank you.
Was very pleased with the service I got in the lumber department. Needed an 8-foot 2 x 12 cut into 2 foot sections the guy working there said no problem. Went to check out and the cashier was very friendly ask me for my military ID and gave me a discount :-) I had on my veterans hat. Plus I needed something from paint department they were very helpful over there too very pleased all the way around
None of the staff seemed like they were interested in helping today. They def had time to talk amongst themselves. I asked for help twice. Got attitude both times. Id i didnt need something cut I would have just found it online. When I finally got help, the kid had a great attitude but wasnt sure of what he was doing. Ill shop a diff location next time.
Bought ge washer and dryer. Salesman very pleasant and helpful. Set up delivery. The delivery people left lag bolts and a mess of plastic in my driveway. The dryer light stays on. I called home depot the following morning and they told me nothing they can do. Call manufacturer and set up service? I said you literally dropped these things off yesterday and they are defective. She said not home depots issue. Call ge... wth? The sales person told us if we had any issue within 90 days just call the store. Nope! I wont be buying anything like this from home depot again I can promise you that.
It used to be pretty good, but seems to be getting worse all the time. Most annoying is that they are following the model of grocery stores and making you do your own checking out. That may work well with a gallon of milk, but wrestling with boards on my own is not my idea of good customer service. Also, theyve blocked your ability to enter & exit the same door, so no matter where you park, youve got at least one walk that is much longer than it used to be.
I came in to look for some concrete nails to redo my basement. I had 3 employees help me but all 3 employees had no idea what type of nails I needed. I explained that its for my basement to do a carpet to tile transition. I was very dissatisfied with the level of service and knowledge that the flooring department gave me. I would not recommend this store for flooring information nor would I for purchase and installation!
The management is very unprofessional when I called to have the argon gas truck moved from behind my car Jim the manager hung the phone up on me. This was after I had been in the store and asked the employee to have the truck moved all they say is hell be done in a minute it took 45 minutes to get it moved.
Terrible customer service! Went to buy a door and was told there was “no one” to help us. No one to place our order! We spoke to the manager and he said “Sometimes this happens where no one is scheduled” excuse me? Really?! They said we could come back in two hours to order our door. They have no one working in the door department at 1:00pm on a Sunday. NICE! We will never shop at this location again. Went to Lowes and got waited on right away.
For being in the middle of a pandemic, they did ok with getting an order ready. I ordered a lawn mower, it said it would take 2 hours on line, but when I got there after 2 hours. They hadnt even started on it. They were supposed to prep it. It came home with 3 tires at 15 pounds, and one at 5 pounds. Luckily my boys were here to help adjust the mower for me.
Go here all the time. Usually a good experience, but sometimes hard to find someone to help you. Lots of times employees wiz by you like you arent standing there. Other times I get help. Have to find people who know their department. If you cant it is painful when I know more that the employee about a topic.
I ordered 7 windows, they never called me to tell me that they arrived at the store to be picked up. I stopped in to check on my order and they were sitting there waiting for me. They wheeled them up to the front of the store for me and then disappeared. No help loading them into my truck. Help wouldve been nice as I was by myself and they had people just standing around.Edit: they called me 3 days later and told me that my windows were ready for pickup. So apparently anyone couldve taken them, they had a record of me picking them up.
Ordered a washer on 1-17 wont receive until 3-3,our neighbors bought one at Menards and was delivered in two days contacted Home Depot via text service to see why they couldnt offer the same service twice in our texting Zach said twice I could cancel order, gee what great service 😄😄Do yourself a favor shop at Menards first dont waste your time..
I needed to have chain cut. There is no call button around the chain cutting area. There is no staff around the chain cutting area. Stand in the center aisle and the few employees you see have their heads down so they dont notice you. Yes, I could have walked a mile to the front desk for help but that is not customer service. Had I even gotten help, I would have to check myself out because customers have to do the cashiers job. No sale.
What carpet there today to put in the backyard by the pool The man that rolled the carpet was excellent he was busy with another customer when I left and he said that they would have somebody bring it out to the truck I waited I waited I waited finally I came inside and theres a young husky boy standing there not doing anything I said why arent you bringing my carpet out well I got to have help I said the man that cut my carpet was old and he lifted it by himself you look like a healthy boy to me why are you just standing there I think the manager came because he heard me complaining and helped him I should say he did it and let the boy just stand there and when they put it in my truck the boy just stood there and didnt even help put it in the truck I would fire his butt in a minute
The location we were at didnt have the blue padded chairs that we were looking for. We left that store & first thing the next morning we drove to a different location to buy the only blue padded chair that was left in stock, then drove to a 2nd location to buy another chair so wed have a complete set of 4 chairs.
Edited review, this is strictly for home depot, concerning 2 things 1 lumber prices that have come down but not enough, I did a lot of homework and have many different responses on why the lumber has went up and since I have 30+ years in trees and lumber Im dropping what I believe to be the truth as to why, lumber is up 130% beyond the normal prices (NOT COOL) why is it up simple (quality Control) alot of builders were contracting to building 30 homes and going belly up at 28 and screwing folks and contractors and in the process building these oversized huge homes that are flat out ugly and have zero reason for being built and when they were 5 years down the road they fell apart and the homeowner is screwed and no one without a 40+ foot ladder or lift can repair the house much less wants to because the insurance is to much for them to hire honest labor that would risk climbing the ladder, our technology and willingness to not care about each other has superceded our humanity. Read between those lines and the rest falls in place...
Entered Home Depot looking for ply wood. Did not receive employee assistance, multiple associates walked by without even offering help. Once assisted after waiting for roughly 20 minutes I asked for my board to be cut in half but with little effort from the associate received the board unevenly cut. But the cashier was very friendly.
Great store, but in this case I stopped by to order window shades. Wish the lady that helped knew more about it. I know she was wrong about some options, caught those, but Im worried about the rest.Update: Guess I was right to worry about the things I was told not to worry about ... Recoverable, but delays. -1 star.
Ive used this location dozens if not hundreds of times since it was built. Of course every interaction is not perfect - people who rate them a 1-star because of one bad experience are just divas or vengeful. But overall, HD employees are more knowledgeable than Lowes and about equal to Menards. I use all three chains - do a little research before you buy to find the best value. If you want a lot of attention, dont go when theyre busy - duh!
Basic box store, generally speaking, the help doesnt have the experience to help seasoned contractors, nor is the product in the proper places. The product is set up with corporate money making tactics in mind. I try to stay away from places like Home Depot, they dont pay people as professionals and it shows.
DOES NOT EVEN DESERVE 1 STAR. NEVER RENT FROM THE HOME DEPOT CENTER!!! Horrendous customer service and lacks knowledge of tools and products. Rented a power washer that was not working correctly, called them 3xs for assistance and of course no one really knew how to work it so they asked me to bring it back in for an exchange or refund. It was a 4hr rental window, well I brought it back within the 1.5hrs to have them correct it or exchange it. They didnt have one to exchange and refused to refund me!!! I expressed how the machine was not working so the tech. turns it on and says, if it turns on then it works. Lets just say I personally will not be shopping nor bringing anymore business there!!!
If I could give a negative rating I would .we ordered 2000 worth of fencing fence posts and cement we got to the house and they delivered 3 moldy panels when I called to find out what was going on they said they had to split the order with lake orion because they think someone must of bought some of the panels I already paid for i talked to the manager at the Auburn hills store who had to call me back and inform me that not only did they sell some of my good fencing but now one of the panels they are sending me is broken so 3 moldy panels and one broken panel fencing that was supposed to arrive at 3 now has a delivery time of whenever so now I have a frontend loader men Im paying to put up a fence and sub par fencing and a sorry bout your luck stuff happens from home depot great way to lose a 20 year customer lows here I come will never do business with home depot again and I am cancelling the home depot card
I have had very bad experience with the tool repair department repairing a product that I purchased at the Home Depot. brought my power tool in for repair under warranty in the spring. It was approximately 9 months old. Waited 6 weeks with with no update on the repair. Called to check on the repair status and was told parts were on order and they would call me when it was complete. Did not hear a response and after weeks of back and forth phone calls with the location the tool was sent to a different facility to determine if it is repairable. I have been told that if it is determined no to be reparable that a new product will be sent to me from the factory. It has taken 78 days to get to this point and will take an additional 3 weeks for evaluation and receipt of a new product. I do not recommend taking products to the Home Depot for repair.
Not sure what Im doing wrong, tried to buy fairly expensive window blinds ( approx. $ 250.00 ) . No one in department, asked a gal for help ,( the one I was told to ask ) she paged someone and no one ever showed up. Why do they even sell them if no one handles the department ?
Found out today with a cart full, they only have self checkouts. I hate bagging! What happened to customer service? Dont I as a consumer have a choice anymore? There was no discount on my bill for being not able to choose a check out line VS self checkout. Very disappointed..
This is my preferred Home Depot due to its immediate proximity to Sams Club! The staff are typically easy-to-find and very helpful. The store is laid-out well and more everything can be located w/o much trouble. Oh yeah! The store is also dog-friendly,... well, at least to some degree! I was dogsitting my brothers little teacup terrier and brought her in the store w/ me and the staff there adored her and welcomed us to shop. Im not sure if theyd allow a massive dog in, but they certainly didnt seem to mind a small, well-behaved pooch!
This is my standard franchise for home repair supply. There isn’t much that I haven’t looked through or purchased from HD. The staff is usually ver helpful and willing to walk me to where the merchandise can be found. Many times they have offered recommendations for products.
Been a roofer and construction for decades and you know what I miss. Going in a store getting what I want and walking out.Im always running into women with their dogs in a purse or a gut talking on his phone. No one can help you and everyone is helpless trying to find something in here .This store is for suburbians. Not us.I miss specialty stores. Hardware stores with my dad. Lumber stores, for good lumber!! Go figure! Walking with my dad and having a conversation about whats going on with sports or anything. These managers have our veterans standing up as greeters and treating them with no respect. Young punk managers. This is America. Turning everything into a mall and one stop. Too distracting. I never get EXACTLY what I want in this store. EVER.I want my old specialty stores back.
Its getting to a point where I just cant stand this store: the lack of help and lack of knowledge of what personnel they do have is aggravating. Whats even more disappointing is the lack of selection, especially in plumbing. I absolutely cannot stomach trying to get plumbing supplies at this store anymore, when your able to find some help, its weak . They dont even know what they have half the time and the usual response is we dont have that accompanied by an excuse via a comment that we dont sell enough of that to stock it, but its common product for plumbing. The dont sell enough because they never have it in stock to sell it to begin with. To top it off what product they do have on the shelf is all jumbled in different bins and you cant trust what your buying, much less know what the real price is, which by the way are premium prices for sub-standard products. This store is declining due to such ignorance.
They were very nice...I was heading to home depot to buy some paint and how unlucky to get a flat tire so I made my way to HD and ask to use their phone because I didnt had one on me. So I call my dad to come help me. We always had come to this HD and havent had any problem with them yet.
💞💜💙🎁Gentle compassionate spirits is the atmosphere of the Home Depot in Auburn Hills, MI. Team members: James💚, Cynthia, 💛💖Claudia 💞all went above and beyond to help my family and I as we asked questions concerning drills with built in hammer and rechargable lithium batteries and, questions regarding discarded wood to be used for art canvasses, and empty boxes from merchandise stock. James 💞educated us on the various drills and warranties, and how each different drill offered its own benefits, and Cynthia💙 so nice and willing to assist, helped me do price checks on each discarded wood planks that are on clearance for 70% off. Claudia💕 is sweet and say if she will keep an eye out for empty boxes and try to set them aside a few boxes whenever possible. The. AUBURN HILLS HOME DEPOT feels like🏠🏡 home💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛Thank you Home Depot. I guess Im just so spoiled from shopping at the h.d. in Utica, where people not only great you when you come in, but they also ASK YOU IF YOU NEED HELP!! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE CARRYING AN 80 POUND BAG OF MORTAR TO A CLOSED REGISTER!!! ok, my bad... I shouldve noticed 2 of the self serve reg in the contractors section were not open.... or one of the THREE EMPLOYEES could have pointed it out???Glad I dont live close to THAT store, because I would NOT have asked for h.d. GIFT CARDS for Christmas!!
The selection here is awful! I needed 3 metal pieces of plumbing...they didnt have any of them! All of their metal valve fittings seem to be converters. All I wanted was a 1/2 inch threaded, straight tube, with a valve on the top, and they didnt have it! I also needed a Y-shaped valve connector(for diverting flow) and THEY DIDNT HAVE THAT EITHER! I wasted a whole 2 and a half hours at this store thinking I was looking at the wrong section...nope! There were several other hardware stores I could have chosen, and Im rather disappointed I chose here.
Best of luck finding help if you need it, even if you locate a specialist, chances are theyre from a different department and of limited help. Looking for a seamer to bend aluminum trim, spent 10 minutes answering some poor souls questions in plumbing, before finding my choices were a 3 tool for about twenty bucks or a 9 incher for $60. Virtually every frieze and fascia in Michigan is 5 1/2, nice. You can do it (wrong) and we can help!
(Hello, can you put a 💙 on your wall, without comment, only a blue heart, then send this message to your other contacts. After putting one 💙 on the wall of the person who sent you this message. If anyone asks why you have so many blue hearts on your wall do not answer. It is for people to show their support since today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day! 💙 Thank a Cop!! )I put this here because I was in your store listening to two young ladies talking about an incident that happened in Minnesota where a cop shot a suspect. They must not have realized that the gentlemen in front of me was a police officer. The young could not have know all the facts of this incident but decided to put the officer involved down. While they are entitled to their own opinion the should wait and talk about it when there are no customers involved.
Tool rental demonstrated law dethatcher incorrectly and then when I brought it back and said it did not work for me, they offered no refund. Later I called back and said I read that the item was not started correctly they said we send everyone home with written directions. My mistake for not reading through myself, but take a bit or responsibility for not correctly explaining how to run this equipment.
These BAND members here where one guy says I just started here & dont know anything about this area & one guy says I work in MILLWORKS & dont know nothing about this area & one lady in lumber acts clueless & the Hispanic guy in pest control gives me the run-A-ROUND looking for an outlet to try out an electronic mouse repellant & we never found the outlet , so I leave you with these initials so you can figure it out >> S.M.A. , the M stands for : My :)

2022-02-01This Home Depot could use a cleaning crew, I realize staffing is rough these days but sweeping and cleaning up aisles should be a bit more of a priority. Also, I went in and ask if they someone working a specific area. The guy I was speaking to was very rude and mumbled something and just pointed in a direction….no help at all. I went to Ace hardware and was not only shown where item was but it was also explained to me what I needed to do

2022-05-01An employee on the phone told me they would exchange my paint out after the online ordering system picked the wrong color. I got there and they offered a discount on the correct color. Should do a better job training their employees on how to deal with customers issues. Wont be back Ill get paint from Menards for now on.

2022-05-31I would leave 0 stars if possible. I had an awful experience with Home Depot. 6 weeks I have been dealing with this! Dont ever buy on line, if your product is delivered damaged getting their 3rd party delivery service to schedule a pick up date is almost impossible, still no refund, I had to call them again 10 days after calling non stop every day I finally get Home Depot to initiate a refund. 2021-04-18I seem to always end up back at Home Depot... Ive been remodeling my new home for 2 years and when picking materials for my project HD seems to have what Im looking for at a good price vs the competition or other retail stores.

2022-06-10I moved to the area about two months ago. Every time I visit this particular Home Depot, there are pallets of products sitting in every isle. This, in addition to the usual in-isle product displays and movable staircases, makes it nearly impossible to navigate the store, and in some places even access products on the shelves. This does not seem to be a seasonal thing because Ive made multiple trips weeks apart and the clutter never seems to improve. I think their management is just really bad at inventory logistics.

2021-01-14Awful experience both with installers and store management. We had tile work done in our bathrooms at the end of 2019, and the installers were a nightmare. They harassed and fed human food to our pets resulting in vet bills, made a mess of our landscape causing fines from our HOA, and raised our floors so high we had to redo plumbing and purchase new doors. They attempted to cut our doors, doing so poorly and at an angle, just so they could fit over the tile. They also didn’t even finish grouting and left gaps all along the borders. They then wanted us to pay extra for materials, not originally in the contract, to redo the sub flooring. This was not discussed until the work was “finished.” This was almost an additional $600. The additional expenses of vet bills, HOA fines, and new plumping and doors was also over $600. We spoke to someone of store management and we’re assured the added subfloor cost would be waived as it was not discussed before the work was done, as well as the added costs from the poor integrity of the installers. Shame on me for trusting them, because a year later I’ve received a bill from a collections agency acting on The Home Depot’s behalf. I then called the corporate office to resolve the matter. The representative informed me there was nothing annotated of my previous discussion, but that they would reach out to the store for more information. A few days later I receive a call from the corporate representative that the store takes no ownership of the matter and that I need pay the balance. I am beside myself that, even with proof of damages, The Home Depot would respond this way. The lack of integrity, empathy, and professionalism I’ve experienced is incredible, and I am overwhelmingly disappointed. Attached are some photos of damages caused by The Home Depot and it’s affiliates.

2022-01-14This has become a very expensive place to shop. Its like they are trying to make up any money lost that they might have made during the pandemic. It must be true as the shelves are full and organized. The only employees working at Home Depot are the stockers. Its rare that anyone is at the register anymore as this is a job elimated.

2022-03-24Customer service and appliance delivery departments are laughable, it will take them about a month to deliver a small dryer 2.5 miles away. Even after they have you wait for a whole day, they will cancel at last minute and keep pushing the delivery out further. Oh well, who needs to wash and dry clothes in this COVID age right !? Right.
