The Home Depot in other cities:
In Store shopping is good. Every time I order a product and its to be delivered, its either lost in the mail and they give me a refund which does not help in the fact I needed what I ordered and they didnt have it in the store. Or its delayed this time my delivery was to be march 2 2022. Its been an hour away from my house saying its in route for delivery and its now march 4 the 2022.
We went for building and painting supplies, but the beautiful, lush fall plants/ flowers and fun Halloween decorations were out....so I Haaaad to get some, as well!Lol the pics dont look like it, but it was pretty busy and the staff was very helpful, per usual at this location and everything was clean and organized.
Weve been to several big box stores for curbside pickup. I will say that this Home Depot location makes it extremely easy. We really appreciate the long hours for curbside pickup -- whereas other stores limit the timeframes severely for curbside -- we dont see that with Fenton Home Depot. For that we are thankful. Each time we say were here the item(s) are out to our vehicle very quickly. Best service.

I said every other Home Depot in MichiganCalled their Customer Care, which basically said they can charge anything they want. They say it is a supply & demand issue which is utter nonsense. This should give you pause when buying anything from Fenton, Mi store. I doubt they will post this review on their website because they are gutless when exposing their own corporate polices...M. H Linden, Mi
Nov. 18 - 7pm I brought in an old can of paint and they scanned the paint on the side of it to mix the same color for me. I got it home and it was an exact match, I can actually use the new paint to touch up areas that were painted 2 years ago. Thank you to the guy in the paint department who did this for me! I also had a lot of help from someone in the light bulb department. I was looking for something really specific and the bulbs he helped me choose turned out to be just right. Its nice that this HD location is so well staffed.
So first I do have to include the fact that I do agree with the other reviews that the customer service has gone downhill quite a bit. Very disappointing as I love the home Depot. However, yesterday I was pleasantly surprised when I was approached by Craig from paint and he asked me if I needed any help. What? That rarely happens nowadays. Craig s. Was so patient and so helpful! I obviously needed some revision on my staining project that I wasnt even aware of. He was very knowledgeable and took the time to save me a lot of frustration and time. Thank you Craig!!!!!! Best home Depot visit in a while.
So never in my life have I left a negative review but this is just terrible. I moved out this way from an hour away and decided that I would purchase what I need for my new home from the most local Home Depot location. Today, I was looking for some assistance with appliances, asked multiple people to help me or get someone to help me today. No body did. Instead I got, oh they should be at their desk or oh I just saw them, they’ll be back. After 40 minutes of waiting and asking I left. I guess I’ll go spend $10,000+ on the appliances, flooring, and other things I need literally anywhere else. This place is pathetic. I love Home Depot but screw this place. So, now after researching my options, I will now be driving over half hour to white lake instead of using the local location!
I like home Depot and stores where you can pick up an order but I have to go in because I dont want to put their app on my phone just to get my order delivered to my car. They should have a phone number to call. So get the phone number and call it and say that youre in the car and you dont want to put an app on and make them to do it that way is my opinion if you cant walk in.
We easily found what we needed. We wanted to get something from an aisle that an employee had closed off. We asked if we could get down there for just a few minutes. She said sure and let us in the aisle. We got what we needed and went to the checkouts. It was pretty quick. Easy in and out
Very difficult to get any help. Online website is really bad, said it had two of the items I wanted in stock but went to the store and zero stock. Home Depot overall has really gone downhill in terms of ordering and customer service. I guess they want me to shop at Menards instead.
Really enjoy coming to this home depot. Of all the utility/construction/home project stores I have lived around and shipped at over the years...by far the nicest.Per normal, you get your really enthusiastic energetic help from employees, or the weird follow you around give their opinion about everything help or the one that says you can look it up on the app hahahahah. But by far the cleanest and best organized . Always look forward to stopping in for the simple needs or the start of a big DYI
I would give this store 5 stars because generally everyone is pretty great and they usually have things stocked. However, the blond lady in returns at the service desk needs to go. Shes extremely rude and does not know company policy. Ive returned opened paint a couple of times before with no issue but I dont do it a lot. I returned a gallon today and this lady gave me a hard time about returning opened paint. All I ever take out is a sample because they dont sell sample sizes in the paint I got, but that is besides the point. Home depots website displays a 100% paint satisfaction guarantee. Not really sure how you would know if you are satisfied with a paint without opening it. That is an obvious no brainier that the lady at the service desk could not wrap her head around. After complaining a bunch about my return she gave me a refund and said to not bring paint back opened and buy a sample next time. Again with the sample suggestion, like a sample just miraculously appeared that I could purchase. 🤦
When you need hardware or tools, there arent alot of places where you can find it all in one spot. We bought another lawn mower for a gift. They had what we were looking for at the right price. Usually they have what we need indeed. Missing the hot dogs after checkout.
There was a wonderful young gentleman working there (Gabe) he was not only willing to help me with what I needed, but helped me find everything I needed throughout the store and even offered to assist me with loading it. Very pleasant and helpful. Thank you for the excellent service!
The real test of a store being worthy of five stars may be to encounter a problem. There was a mix up with the installation of a new outsideentry door purchased from outside the store because they didnt have what we wanted. (still Home Depot) The problem was solved. The work was excellent. We love our new door. (the finale touch on a large renovation of our house)Many thanks to all who helped to get this done the way we wanted it.
Top notch customer service here, I was asked if I needed any help at least 7 times....and I was only there for 10 minutes!! shout out to the paint guy who was super fast and matched my color perfectly. This Home Depot is the place to be, very helpful and knowledgeable staff, which is hard to find these days.
I dont usually write reviews for big box stores, but I feel like my experience over the weekend shouldnt go unheard. I needed help with some lumber, asked an associate (Sam) for help and received excellent customer service. Very impressed with his attitude and willingness to help out a customer. Thank you!
Above and Beyond - The people working at this location are great! The store itself is clean, well-organized and well-stocked. I have never had any issues here...and I have used this as my playground as a homeowner for over 7 years in this City. When I cant find something, people are quick to help me locate it (even if its at another store, not just Home Depot). I have asked for advice on projects, supplies, and products (and they never disappoint). I am a disabled veteran (and I appreciate the military discount). My only regret is that I cant get an interview to work here myself, I have tried. I love this store, and I know you will too. When you have a question/concern, they listen and care!
They have everything. DIY projects. You name it. Just be prepared to pay $300-1500 for anything in this store. And dont expect anything to say made in the USA. I bought a floor cleaner and it lasted 1 year with little use. Dont expect a refund easily even if you bought a warranty.
I shop here for nearly all my home improvement needs. Theres always a good selection of products and if they dont stock it, they will order it at no extra cost. I was even able to order certain automotive parts from home and had them shipped there for substantially lower than anywhere else!
Your average homedepot, they always keep it clean, garden staff is usually knowledgeable as well as the carpet guys, the paint department is not the best on knowledge but everyone tries to help. But beware this store is FULL of Karens both female and male. A lot of rich people with a chip on their shoulder, typical Fenton type people whom will not hesitate to share their... Facts(opinions). But is to be expected with the area.
I have mixed feelings about my experience here. I needed help loading my items into my vehicle and the pro lot loader (Kaleb) was extremely helpful and appeared to genuinely care about the customers and made my experience very nice. However I witnessed him being scolded by one of the cashiers (I think her name was Peggy) in front of me and other customers. Not only was that extremely unprofessional, but it makes me question the integrity of the leadership positions at Home Depot. I have leadership experience myself in my field and I know that is no way to treat a fellow staff member.
This store is really horrible for customer service, which has been consistent over the last 15 years. Very rarely does any customer associate even offer to take the time to help. If you ask someone for assistance, theyre usually to busy to help and rude. Its a guarantee that you will be walking out of the store disappointed.
Shopping at big box stores like the Home Depot always made me feel like a tiny sparrow in a big barn. But my experiences shopping at the Home Depot in Fenton, MI have all been positive ones. The employees are friendly and always take the time to help me find what I am looking for. If an item is not on site, they will order it for you. I buy all my appliances there because I get such great personalized attention through the entire process. There is never a long wait to return something. I am thankful to have a store that operates so efficiently close to where I live. Thank you Home Depot in Fenton, MI and keep up the good work!
I have visited many of the Home Depot stores in Genesee County and have found that the store in Fenton is my favorite. The Fenton location seems to stock more items, employees are friendlier than at other locations and if you require a large amount of one item they will have it on hand. I drive an extra 25 minutes to visit this store. I highly recommend this store.
I dont go to this home depot often because its not near my home but when I did I easily found what I needed. The store was clean and organized. I went to the checkout and the cashier was very quick and friendly. She got us through the line as fast as possible in a very polite manner.
Found the VERY nice padded folding chair I was looking for. Cost almost $54 when tax is included at the register. WELL worth paying the money for these chairs. We bought 2 originally & were so happy with how nice & how comfortable they are that we bought 2 more! Had to go to 2 different Home Depot locations to buy the 2 additional chairs. Again; WELL worth the time it took to drive to the 2nd location to buy the 4th chair to have a set of 4 for our home.
Employees use to come up to you and ask if you needed help. The only person I did not have to ask is the man working in the garden center. Then I was loading 32 pavers in the back of my truck and the cart attendant literally walked past me for carts and went on his way. Use to be a very friendly store.. Sad experience! Im in the parking lot writing this so making you can review who is working and talk to them.
I stopped for some much needed items yesterday, a very large number of customers wore no masks and there was no social distancing anywhere. I brought an empty box to show what type of lightbulbs I needed and when I opened it today I had spotlights, nothing even close to what I wanted. Certainly not a good experience!!!! Please enforce the rules as they are now!!!!
This Home Depot is like most all others that I have shopped. They have most things that youre looking for at a good price but finding it can be tough sometimes due to understaffing. I am there all of the time so it must not be too bad. Most staff are nice but they can never come close to matching the attention that you get at the smaller local hardware stores.
The only reason I am giving Home Depot 4 stars is because of the young man that helped us choose our flooring. He was very smart and very helpful. As far as the people back in the cabinet department. Well, we were given wrong information because she was trying to get rid of us as quickly as she could. In the end when they came out to talk to us about refacing our cabinets, we found out we were on the right track by buying our cabinets as we go because we could do this ourselves at a fraction of the cost of refacing. Now we will buy our kitchen cabinets at Menards.
Today I had no choice but to stop in to pick up some fuses and upon entering was instantly alarmed at the amount of shoppers not wearing face covers. The man behind me in line was coughing and sneezing repeatedly without one. Needless to say I left the fuses on the cooler of energy drinks and left. They either lack the courage or respect of other shoppers safety to enforce this order. I feel the least I can do is warn others here before they find out they way I did. Again the lack of coverings was alarming but an obviously sick person not using one and the blatant disregard of concern by management or employees was appalling. I will not be back to this store for a long time if ever.
Great people that work there, but corporate home Depot has turned their storeinto the harbor freight of home construction. Their materials have become of such low quality that any project will be an embarrassment. You can see the particle board through the paint on there bathroom cabinets and the refrigerator they just sold us as new on clearance was six years old
Mike went above and beyond when he saw me looking at plants on 03/27. He offered lots of advice about potential uses for an aloe plant and went out of his way to look for something to carry the plants in on my way home. Was very happy to see someone attuned to customer needs and so ready to help! Thank you to the whole team for being there in dire times.
We shop here all the time. And anytime we run into a problem (which we have come across multiple times) their manager Rachel goes above and beyond to deliver excellent customer service and make sure the problem is fixed. We shop at this location because of their excellent customer service, good prices and great selection.
Very large selection almost always has what I need. Employees are very helpful and nice. They have anything u need from lawnmowers to plumbing to wood, they got it all. I would very much suggest going here. Prices are kinda high but they have about the same as Lowes and menards.
Management let one of their best employees go! John was awesome. Contractors and other customers appreciated his help loading materials. He rode his bike to work every day. Worked there since it opened.I am not related to John in any way. I guess loyalty and good customer service isnt was the Fenton Home Depot is looking for.
Very disappointed with my experience at customer service tonight. Went in today to buy 2 Husky Welded Steel Storage Racks which were on sale yesterday for $149. Today the sign was down and price was $179 each. Went to CS desk and was told sale ended yesterday. I have a photo of the sale sign that shows no end date. Was there yesterday for something else and expected sale had just started on Sunday as is typical. Today I was denied! No offer to speak with a manager. Having been to this store many times Ive never seen either of the ladies behind the counter before. No effort was given to try and make me a happy customer. There are many other places I can go to get what I need.Shame on you HD for not honoring the price I have a photo of from the day before.
Not very impressed with my evenings interactions or lack thereof at the Fenton Home Depot. Is it because I am a women and was in there with two kids? Guess what...one of those kids just spent his $100 in home depot gift cards he got for xmas and was planning on spending his last $20 on wood there tonight, had one person actually asked to help us. I also needed to get some fixtures for my faucet. However I wasnt sure exactly which ones. Again...no one would even ask if we needed a hand. I have never been completely ignored at Home Depot before. Guess Ill be going to my local Ace and spending my money there, as they dont hesitate to help me because Im a women!
I have been in his store several times and in the area of product knowledge and customer service I’ve read them very poor. I was looking for a zero turn lawn mower and the person who was helping me had very little knowledge about the product, He couldn’t even tell me the horsepower of the engine or how the mower handled on hilly terrain.Today I went in for top soil and seen they handle the Vector UTV 500 (side by side Utility ATV). When I requested help, the HD person said he had no idea except they have sold two in the last year. Finally, I was at the store for light fixtures and the ones that I pulled off the shelves, the boxes had been opened in the old light fixtures were in the box. I asked the service person why this has happened and she had no answer. To get the light picture that I wanted I had to go to another Home Depot store which was 20 miles away.I strongly recommend that if are in need of something that is sold by Home Depot I would think twice and then shop at LOWES
Showed up at 7:58 on a Sunday and doors were locked. Last time I checked store was open till 8? This ridiculous tried to go to another door and was told that the store is closed. Dont say your open till 8 and close early? I drove 25 minutes to get a last minute fix for my plumbing and wasnt able to! Update: knowone ever contacted me about this review guess they dont care about how they treat their customers!
Worst customer service in this Home Depot, I put an order online and to come and pick up my bamboo floor same day cause this was the only Home Depot has it in stock, online said they have 14 in stock and they only have 6 all beat up boxes 📦 damage.I check them out and come back to “customer service desk” and ask if they can replace , the guy told me go to flooring dept and check what we have, I told him I place a online order that means HD have everything for me. So I went and check, I have to open boxes and change broken pieces 👎👎 by myself no one help me. I want to say the lady at the door she was friendly. 3-31-2019 Fenton
I specifically went there for Miracle Gro compost. A very helpful garden associate loaded the bags into my cart, but at checkout, no one respond to the subsequent loading assistance call. Another customer loaded them into my cart. Unfortunately, not the first time Ive experienced this kind of issue.
I usually dont have a problem with this store but once I went to pick up some lumber..went looking up and down the aisle for the size I needed..meanwhile 3 employees are standing around talking and joking and not paying any attention. Finally I decided to break up their little party for a second by asking a question and the dude frowned at me and sent me around the corner where I never guessed to even look. Then he walked away when it was obvious I needed help.
Flooring associates are the worst in this store! So rude and talk like I was dumb. On phone and in person, i even mention out loud that the person was rude to my husband. Surely the associate changed her attitude. I encountered 4 associates in this department . All are worst customer service ! However, i had 1 that helped that wasnt even in the department and was awesome. Flooring department /sales department need tp change your attitude !You hate dealing with people, work in the back! One star for the 1 associate not even in That dep. That was sweet and went out her way..
Caleb is the best fastest loader I ever met at any depot. I might have to steel him for my own business. He is a great worker that needs a raise. Not to mention all of the pro desk guys and girls( full time casher too). Sorry I m bad with names she wrote down Calebs name for me. Lol thank you guys for the great service.
Sales person and manager very rude. I had my husbands veterans card, he was in the car. Only walks with a walker. I use this card at this location all the time. I was told no, you cannot use it. But they would not go to the door to see him. I understand safety precautions, but I parked right outside the door. Then the manager said ok, but only this one time. Very rude. Very rude.
Not sure why I go here except for there is no Lowes in town. Very hard to find things, the appliance and kitchen departments are not helpful and its a pain that the checkout is set up so you have to go through the whole place to get to it. I find myself parking at one end and checking out at the other. I think Lowes has a better selection of tools and supplies.
I purchased 4 appliances for my new home on 6/27 with a delivery and installation date of 7/9. I get a call a few days before informing me that my washer and dryer are on back order. Now my order will be delivered 7/18. I called back and asked if the range and refrigerator could be delivered (they are in stock at the warehouse at this point) and the woman I spoked to said yes, but the 7/9 is now full would 7/11 work. On 7/10 I had yet to receive a time when the delivery would take place, so I called to confirm. I was told yes, it is scheduled for 7/11 but, has not be assigned a truck or time because the whole order is not in and it will not be delivered until that time. So now I have a house that I cannot stay (no refrigerator or range) and group of people set to come over for a house warming party on 7/15 that I cannot cook for. I spent almost $4000 on appliances and installation and Home Depot cannot afford send two delivery team?DO NOT buy appliances from Home Depot if you want to receive them in a reasonable time. Lesson learned, I hope this spares other from making the same mistake.
I am very disappointed that the home Depot doesnt think it necessary to prevent the spread of COVID-19 by requiring everyone that enters the store to wear a mask. I think I will take my business to Menards from now on until this epidemic is resolved. They require masks to be worn before entering the premises.
Went for a few items, counted no less then 7 people not wearing masks and multiple people.not wearing them correctly. This is during a time where they are required and have signs on the doors. None of the employees said anything to them management was nowhere to be found.
We were having trouble with our hot water heater and we need a thermocouple. The problem was it was 9:45pm, fifteen minutes before closing. I had called the plumping extension and Stephen had answered and was very polite and said to take my time getting to the store and he will make sure I get what I needed. When I arrived went straight to plumbing and ran into Clint from night freight and another gentleman who’s name I didn’t catch but I remember he was wearing a blue Detroit Lions sweatshirt. Clint came to help me and the other gentleman went to get someone from pluming. George from garden came to help and was able to help me fine the correct thermocouple. Stephen was finally able to get to me, he apologized for getting pulled by another customer before I had arrived to the store. I had worked retail for 19 years and was very pleased how these four gentleman pulled together to help me!!
I come with hubby sometimes. I love the way it smells, like lumber and you know that home improvement smell? This store has everything including knowledgeable employees. I would give it five stars, but we hate when you walk around and get harassed by the people selling A/C units and heating systems. They ask u if your system is ten years or older and go on to ask a hundred other questions. When you’re shopping it’s not fun to get harassed. It’s happened like 7 times to us. Hubby HATES it.
I special ordered a patio door back on October 10th in hopes of getting it and installing it before snow was on the ground. The man I dealt with insured me that it would take 2-3 weeks to get it in ( which is why I ordered though Home Depot and not Lowe’s or menards). On October 31st I called to see what was up.No door. I was then told that the door wouldn’t be in until November 20th at which I again called. I felt that they didn’t care that my order was taking so long. They had my money, it would get here when it got here. Then I recieved another notice that the door would not be in tell November 27th and another notice saying Dec. 4th. All this time I called and spoke with several employees including a manager and No one seemed to care at all. They did nothing for me. One employee even was incuriganing me to cancel my order ( which I wouldn’t get back 15% of the doors cost for restocking fees, and door wasn’t even made yet). My door finally came in on December 5th (8 weeks) and with winter already here I am now forced to wait tell spring to install it. I will never purchase another thing from Home Depot. My husband is a contractor and gives Home Depot a lot of business daily and we will be going else where. Very upset that No one even offered to do anything for us for the inconvenience. We also have friends that specialed ordered blinds and they are dealing with the same thing. That’s to bad! Terrible customer service!!
Will not purchase any items that need to be delivered from Home Depot. The company they use do NOT verify delivery addresses and when they cant find your home the delivery person does NOT call you. They call their headquarters who in turn call you and give you 15 minutes to call back, however you wait for the first available operator for well beyond 15 minutes. When I did get a hold of someone they couldnt get a hold of the driver...I found out from the Home Depot Manager it was because he was already back at the warehouse in Detroit. It takes more time to get to Detroit from where I live then I was on the phone. So, that tells me the driver did not wait the 30 minutes that I was told that he waited. Now I have to take a day off of work and hope that they get it right.Wont be recommending Home Depot to friends, family or co-workers.
On too many different occasions when dealing with this locations my husband and myself have been treated horribly by mostly the managers, their always seems to be a problem because they are either poorly trained or over abuse their power a few times weve been forced to goto another store or order online. Both in which were incovienent and completely avoidable if given a better staff. Something needs to change there
The folks running the registarts are great. Folks on the floor are helpful The reason it only gets a 3: Its always hard to move around in the lumber aisles. They are constantly full of carts of limber. The floor is often covered in dunnage and strapping. Total trip hazards. I often think I should just take photos and share them with the management but at the end of the day we dont really have options unless you want to make a drive to another store. Im sure they know this as well otherwise the condition wouldnt exist. Other than this its a standard HD
Compared to the hill rd location this place is a dump. I will go without before i go to this store again. Products everywhere lumber scattered and in poor shape and no one says hi or how you doing like other homedepots i been to. I do everything i can to not have to stop at this location. Not sure what goes on here but its super dysfunctional.
Mike haycock is the worst store manager Ive ever met. After spending over $6,000 here in pressure washers for my company, he refused to return a defected one that we had only Owned for two weeks. He was not only incredibly rude to me but also to his employee. Oh yea, did I say when his associate called him for help he told her to just figure it out and do it herself? She then told me Id have to go find him so he could help.I walked back to the lumber area where she told me he was and told him I needed his assistance at the front desk. He instantly became a jerk. After he left his associate said he always treats everyone likes this Ill literally never spend another penny here
Crazy that the other “upper employees” are too entitled to come cut a piece of paneling but will stop the lumber associate from actually doing something other than socializing with other employees to come cut it 🤷🏼♀️ Of all the times I come and can hardly get down and isle without bumping into 3 orange shirts, he’s literally the only one that ever helps me. Not the best look, lumber guy Sean deserves a raise.
Went in trying to talk to someone to get our kitchen messured for new cabinet s , and the lady that worked in the department was on the phone to some one about a washer and dryer that they kept messing up on the delivery. Then that costumer came in complaining about there delivery first time the dropped his washer , then the next time they were missing the dryer. Well we waited patiently and waited and waited. Finally I left . Going somewhere else . . And not a nother Home Depot
I hope a manager sees this. There is a chronic problem with all Home Depots I have ever visited. This HD just happens to be the one I visit most often. One can never seem to find anyone in the aisles to help find anything or ask a question. There is a surplus of help during the Christmas season, but they are all busy booping inventory with their little phone jobbies. I spent 20 minutes in this store today looking up & down the aisles for something, standing right next to multiple Boopers. Not a one stopped to ask me if I needed help finding something. The only person to stop me & talk was the lady trying to sell whole house generators. Please train your employees to identify customers who are looking for something & ask them if they need help finding something. Dont ask, How ya doin? Im doing fine. I need help finding something. I would much rather tell 10 employees, No, thank you than spend 20 minutes searching & frustrated.
Refused to make a copy of my daughters car key. We didnt need it programmed we just needed a door key cut. They refused and sent her to the dealership. Its too bad they wouldnt help her. Ive had door keys cut here many times in the past. I know she is young but she is still a consumer.
Truly the worst customer service I have ever received. We needed help and the man at the desk was so busy playing on the internet that he couldnt help us, and instead blowing us off and referring us to someone who was on lunch and would be back any minute. Forty five minutes later the man finally came back to inform us we couldnt order the part we needed and we had to call the manufacturer ourselves. So we stood there for 45 minutes to get nowhere, all because the other guy couldnt be bothered to get an answer for us or try and help us himself. Instead he chose to make a personal phone call and check google weather.
I recently purchased nearly $5,000 worth of flooring and other materials. When the job was done I wanted to return some baseboard totaling about $25 and they wouldnt take it back because they couldnt find the SKU I find that they were rude unprofessional and Ill do my business with other stores I would stay away from these guys they dont care about their customers and they dont care about your business
Borrowed my sons new truck to pick up from store. Sub-contractor was tearing down cart stations across lot where I parked. Come out of store to see another couple tearing down right beside truck, she dropped a rail on side of truck. Put dent and took paint off. Got manager and was told not to worry, it would be taken care of. Get no answers and she also has not called back. This was one month ago.
Yes I was looking for new flooring for a house I just in Fenton. Judy the customer service person was trained very good and as person working for Home Depot she love her job. I am selling my house in Dearborn and had Family room done by a local company and after learning what Judy explain to me about carpet and wood flooring. I paid too much money and the guy told me gave cheapest price. Learn alot with Judy and doing the whole house with carpet and wood flooring. This was the 3rd spot that I stopped from a home depot and these folks are amazing I had a great experience in Grand Blanc as well but I tell you what HD is back on the customer service they do an awesome job this one had my cabinet waiting for me in that gentleman knew who I was when I walked in the door and Hannah at the register was incredibly polite and smiling and happy and I dont think its got anything to do with the Sun being out in a while I think thats just the way she is and you are great job.
After being treated like trash by the store manager Mike, I dont plan on returning here. He is a pitiful example of management who treats both his customers and employees with such disrespect as to make Comcast customer service look like Mother Theresa. Home depot needs to remove this management if they at all value their customers or employees. Worst store experience ever.

2020-09-14The pro desk people are 5 stars. The people who get in line with a lightbulb are 1 star. The people who snuggle up to me during a pandemic also are one star. Would like to see the Depot have a line for those of us that get items a pro deals with, our time is valuable.

2022-02-07As far as Home Depots in the area go this one has a better set of employees than any of them. Generally more knowledgeable and more helpful as well as friendlier. Their selection isnt as good as some of the other stores there rental department is lacking and theyre available Outdoor Equipment is nearly non-existent compared to the other Home Depots in the area. They get five stars though because theyre customer service especially regarding returns or helpful employees they are top-notch compared to their sister stores

2022-05-15I rarely will leave a negative review. If Im not happy I just walk away. In this case I am happy to do so. I called before my visit to be prepared to remedy a situation. One that should be very easy to resolve. When I get to the service desk with the information I was given over the phone and another on house employee I was greeted by a very impatient representative. She called me to the counter while she was on the phone and I said I could wait I was not in a hurry. She was rude, impatient, had me hold for her call, and then was absolutely useless in regards to fixing the situation. She was told I was given the wrong info and there was nothing that could be done with what I was already told. I am not sure who crowned this Home Depot employee the queen but she is not doing the monarch proud. I received better service from the Girl Scouts selling cookie in front of the store the last time I was in

2022-02-15Shout out to Patrick in the appliance department. We spoken to him on multiple occasions and each time he has been nice to work with and is very knowledgeable about the products. Our refrigerator stopped working and we were able to get one delivered to our house within 5 days even with supply chain shortages. Employees are always friendly and overall it’s a nice HD.

2022-04-27Ive been to the Fenton Home Depot quite a few times over the last two months. Over the years Ive chosen home depot over other hardware stores due to their Veterans discount. Recently most of the stores have been switching to self check outs. I normally show my VA card for the discount. Today I was told I have to use the app, quite rudely. Im sure the lady wasnt content about the lack of help at the front of the store. Ive contacted the home depot tech support about the veteran documents they keep rejecting, with no human reply yet to date (about 5 months). I know many older vets that dont use a smartphone, and probably wont. Poor Customer Service, but I doubt this is the only location with these issues.

2022-05-15Excellent help when we needed it. We needed a board cut and Justin was able to help us quickly and professionally. The board was damaged and they gave us a discount on it. We will surely be going back again when we need supplies.

2022-04-12Worst customer service of any Home Depot in Michigan that I have encountered. I understand that people may return items that were never purchased and I understand loss prevention but when a regular customer who has spent 100’s of thousands of dollars in your store and it can be substantiated by a quick ID check there shouldn’t be a hassle for a refund. I am a regular customer of this store until now and presented my identification so the representative could search. She refused to search and tried to process it as a credit before asking me how I wanted to proceed. This comes down to principle for me. As a person in sales who values the human factor in dealing with clients I am highly disappointed. In a age where people are being replaced by automated customer service this best illustrates why…***update: my last couple trips have been much better and the service was great. I was able to find assistance on a product easily and got what I needed quickly.

2022-05-07The employees are hit and miss here. Some are very helpful and then some won’t give you the time of day. Store is always clean and normally have everything I’m looking for.

2022-04-19Its Home Depot. They have tools. They have knowledgeable staff and if you have a return they are extremely helpful. Except when they make you run halfway across the store to get an SKU number
