I absolutley love this store. I am not sure why all the negative social media. There is always someone to help, they stand behind the customer and have always done the right thing with me. I have purchased many defective products due to the manufacter not the Home Depot but they have always made the wrong right. I would highly recommend for any of your home improvement needs.
This is a great Home Depot location. Went in recently to get some help placing an order and McKenzie at the front desk was awesome. So positive, friendly and helpful. I watched her interact with another customer before and he, too, shared in the great service she provided. Always when Ive visited the team members have been helpful and friendly. A great location to go to.
Probably the best home depot experience Ive had. Usually, I have trouble finding associates to help. Here the associates were super helpful. You could actually see them working the aisles and walking up to customers to offer help. If only there were more HDs like this.
They carry a product that seems to work better than the product any other store carries for the price. Home Depot will never get more than 3 stars because of all the times I should have taken away stars, service being that bad. They are often out of staples and their lumber is sub par. Try to get someone to make you a key there, I DARE YOU 🤣
Nice experience everyone on point and helpful!! But as delivery driver i have to get a certain number (keyrec) to close out my delivery!! But I still have to call in to get the number and talk to the receiver instead! Why cant I get that from the guy who unloaded the drywall instead?? Waste of time and resources if you ask me... If the receiver wants to come in at 3am to unload it instead?? (That will never happen) I am ok with that, at least I would get my Keyrec then in a timely manner.....
I was looking for an 8 foot folding table and it said they had 7 available. I ordered it online, and it said it was ready for pickup. I went to go pick it up, and it was not up front. The lady then went to go get it, but came back and said someone needed to get a hi-low to retrieve it. She calls someone to get it, and they come back and say that the inventory was marked wrong and they dont have it. The whole ordeal took about an hour.Why does my online order say its ready for pickup when they dont even have any? What if I had done curbside pickup, I would have been waiting with no clue whats going on.I was only offered a refund, and told to go to a different store to get it. I asked about them getting it shipped to this store since they mistakenly said it was ready, and they said they couldnt do that. Now I went online and I am not able to order one for any nearby stores due to low inventory.
Everyone was helpful, despite how close to closing I went in.... to buy a giant grill.... that the gentleman even offered to help into the truck, (and taught us how to disassemble and reassemble the necessary pieces to transport it on its side.) What a guy! Annnd what a buy! Thanks Home Depot! Best price on a pre-assembled grill that I could find. Best selection too!
I had the best customer service treatment from Angela in the customer service department yesterday. I had a HUGE issue with a water heater and there had been a mix up with the stores and where my payment was made. Angela contacted the other location requested they refund me and corrected the entire problem. She was wonderful and very concerned with my problem and made sure I was taken care of. Thank you Angela for your assistance you were great.
Of all the Depots, I personally feel this is the worst one for being unorganized, poor customer service, and really...close the landscape isles on a warm sunny Saturday afternoon? Saw so many upset customers leave due to the isles being temporarily closed...will drive further to hit the Chesterfield location.
They always have a good selection and prices...but i was at the hall and heydenreich location twice last week looking for a pair of new toilets, and neither time was there anyone there to help me out...for that matter, the same happened at Lowes and Menards. So they had what i needed but did the research myself as there was no one to help me out.
So I ordered a ne lawnmower online at HomeDepot for curbside pickup. Today I arrive at the store, park in pickup lot, click the communication text link and after 40 minutes I am still in the curbside pickup lot waiting. In between my wait, I called the contact number I my order. This got me to the same automated message three times over and over as I kept selecting option 2 to taklk about my order and my wait. Nothing. My wife then goes into the store’s customer service desk. They finally came out 8 minutes later. Ugh!!!
DO NOT USE HOME SERVICES. Went to home depot expecting good service. Purchased door wall from home depot to be installed by them and have been nothing but disappointed. Was almost impossible to even set the installation appointment due to the contractor that they use. I purchased it beginning of January and wasnt able to get a hold and schedule appointment till the end of March. Then when I was given a time frame for them to come out to install, they didnt show up for hours after the appointment time (they never called). So expect being home waiting for them all day. Then after the first rainfall we had water inside our house on the indoor track. We had to get them back out again to look at that and to fix the door hinge which was making it almost impossible to lock/unlock the door. Again they told me between 1-4 then I had to call to ask if they were coming out and guy was no help. Then finally at 6:00 we got a phone call saying he would be here is about 45 minutes but didnt arrive until 7:45pm. So again we had to take off a second day of work to be home allllll day hoping they would show up. After he came out said he needed to order a part so now we going to have to take another day off to be home all day waiting for them. We will never again use Home Depot home services/installations. I am in shock that home depot is this way. Its even hard trying to get a hold of a manager at home depot. I have called countless times with no call back. TERRIBLE HOME SERVICES
The store is clean, and the staff is friendly.They always have what I need, along with cool seasonal items.Per Covid rules; I passed 5 people with no mask and at least a dozen with a mask below their nose. Yet, a intercom message is stating the Covid Rules over head. No enforcement of those rules.Why?
This Home Depot is located in a very convenient area. It is clean and comfortable. I was able to find what I was looking for in no time at all. The staff was courteous and friendly, as well as professional. They were able to answer my questions expertly. I highly recommend this store for any of yur indoor, outdoor, and hardware needs.
My favorite place for home improvements, I gave 4 because of the prices. Prices are little bit high compared to other places. But the people who works there are informative and helpful. They can match price for you if you show them a well known store selling the same item at better price.
Went to the store with the family to pick out two new colors for our new house. We found a nice color online and wanted to get a sample to try and find the paint chip. After 5 mins of searching we decided to ask for help. The man at the paint counter was assisting another customer, however was available to talk and waiting. We asked if he could help us find one particular color. Its like we never uttered a single word. Simply ignored our request, not even an acknowledgement. Frustrated I spent another five or 10 minutes and I found the color we were looking for & ended up taking the color over to Sherwin-Williams where they made it for us.
If someone asks a question about the location of an item, don’t tell them you don’t carry it when I could have just ordered for in store pickup online. Also let the customer finish his sentence. Employee was very uninformed. Also, enforce your mask policy. Lots of Trumptards not wearing masks and no one telling them to.
I usually love going to home depot because of the atmosphere and customer service. I just finished after the gym with the wife and she told me that there was a sale of orchids for buy one get one free so we went to the nearest home depot next to LA Fitness. I usually go to the one next to Sams Club because its more convenient for me. My wife loves to decorate our apartment so I agreed to go with her so we can get the orchids before the sale was gone. As I was checking out I know the routine Vets, especially me a retired disabled vet gets 10% off on any purchase. My check out lady Eve was very RUDE, gave me an attitude and assumed I owned a business, if I did why would I get sale items and try to get more discounts? My whole day was ruined. This was my first time and last time at this Home Depot. If your looking for a good Home Depot please go to the one next to Sams club / lexus
My wife did an online order and they left the cart directly behind the tailgate after loading the garbage disposal and closing the tailgate Then she backed into it and was shocked it was still there?. They refused to give us video footage or take any responsibility for improperly loading he r vehicle. The employee that did it ran into the store and refused to speak with me with the Cops showed up. Very sad never again. Cops told me they have the 18 wheelers hit employee cars all the time and they refuse to release the camera footage for them as well. Not that shocking my business will now go else where over the past 20 years it was a ton now its all Lowes.
DO NOT SHOP HERE UNTIL THEY PROTECT THEIR EMPLOYEES!!!!!!A bunch of cowards without masks were walking around the place, and, when I brought it to the attention of Staff, they told me theyre not allowed to enforce mask policy for fear of their jobs.As someone with a medical degree, Im disgusted and taking this to corporate. Imagine making $10/hr and being told your lives dont matter as much as a sale. Despicable.
Disappointed in management. I bought a tool marked down from the original price. When I got home it was broken so I returned it. They had another they could exchange but would not honor the price. Management left me sitting and waiting for an explanation for 15 minutes. I never did get the explanation I just took my refund and left. I didnt expect to get a brand new tool mark down but showing some good faith for my wasted effort would have been nice.
Worst store ever I am a disabled veteran and don’t have a new card because my old card doesn’t say service connected disability on it, they refused to give me my discount and when I spoke to the manager her name was Lisa she tells me it store and corporate policy, she is full of herself . All other Home Depot no problem using my card and to top it off Lowe’s me and my immediate family get the discount and no card needed. I guess Lowe’s will be getting my $800 purchase.
Same as always, plenty of people working, nobody cares about why your just standing there, obviously, needing some help... except for the cashier, cant remember her name but she worked there previously, terminated employment and now she is back. White lady, probably 30-40 something, attractive with long dark hair... thank you😉
My weekend go to. Had a disaster last weekend with a plumbing issue and couldn’t get anyone out quickly to help us. Went into HomeDepot with a photo of what was leaking the guy in the plumbing area notOnly pulled all the parts for me he told me where I would need to cut them what to use to repair and what I’d need to secure it all back together. I was able to fix it myself for aCost of just under $30. They went well above giving me what I would need he walked me through repairing. Saved money and more damage by waiting for a plumber. Thanks, I’ll be trying other stuff we normally paid to have done.
Bought a full set of appliances here for our basement that is almost done being finished. Upon delivery there were two obvious dents front and center in the fridge door (at no fault of the nice delivery men because we watched them unbox it next to our porch and bring it just inside our house) so we sent it right back the same day. Samsung said the earliest they could do was a full month away for a new one. Thankfully the appliance department managers here went above and beyond to make things right so we could meet our deadline with our contractor, no thanks to Samsung. The fridge arrived only 8 days after the first one and literally just in time. Thanks guys!
All associates / managers are just so unprofessional and rude. You would never be able to get a hold of someone to get your questions answered. Associates do their best to hide from customers. I had to deal with a manger one day called Julian who was so unprofessional and didnt handle my inquiry professionally. Really sad to see how this stores performance gets worse everyday. Here we come Lowes.
Shop here quite often but I must say I will not be coming to this store as they make the customers wait outside in a line..if you are going to be open be open Lowe’s and Menards don’t do this! I’ll go there ...social distancing ok I understand but this practice is asinine!
Generally I love this store .. BUT i have to say after tonight, Im ticked off !!while in the parking lot i called and spoke to mgmt .. I was treated so very rude by a cashier Judith at the returns register on 12/4/16 @ 500 pm appox .. I had wanted to make a purchase for an item i was parked right outside the door by cuatomer service(never an issue before )There was 4 people behind the service desk they all made eye contact with me and never offered any assistance.. I then asked the young man and sent me to returns ..no problem . went over in line and waited to my turn .. I stated i would like to buy this and thats when it started .. She cut me off many times when speaking and told me she was only doing this as a courtesy.. WHAT ? My response was i walked in the door as a customer as a courtesy.. Your company needs customers... Right ?I then took my reciept off the printer and stated i didnt want her to do more than what was required ..Then I got the babye now like a child ! Really !!!I said something to the lady that was greeting people at the door ..If i had time i would return item n go to Lowes .. Worst experience ever at this store!!I sat in the car and called the mgmt team on duty..JUDITH I have a message for you.Your sales techniques are terriable customer service is just plainly not up to Home Depots standards !YOU HAVE A JOB AND COLLECT A PAY CHECK BECAUSE OF PEOPLE LIKE ME COMING IN FOR HOME DEPOTS PRODUCTS ..NOT FOR YOUR ATTITUDE!!!I am awaiting a phone call from upper mgmt regarding what i experienced this evening ..
Home Depot Macomb, MI (on M59 and Heydenreich) fails my veteran father.Im not one to complain much, but today my favorite Home Depot lost my business for good.Home Depot (and Lowes) offer discounts for veterans. Today, my dad and I are starting a project together and needed to get supplies for the first part. So, we went to Home Depot. Loaded up our flat push cart with about $600 of material. At check out, he presented his Macomb County issued veteran photo ID card... issued by the county he lives in and where this Home Depot is. He dedicated part of his life to serving this country... And they refused to give him the discount stating that the ID was not acceptable. So, we abandoned our cart and went to Lowes just two miles away. Loaded up all of the same stuff, and made our way to check out. He presented the same card for their veteran discount. The cashier thanked him for his service and applied the discount.I welcome anyone who wants to join me in avoiding this Home Depot and taking their next projects needs to Lowes instead.
I showed Home Depot a picture that the Behr Marquise paint that is guaranteed only one coat pictures that it took two coats and they couldn’t find my card on file I used to purchase this paint. I had the lid that showed my purchase date and store number. Do NOT BUY THE BEHR PAINT that’s guaranteed one coat. If you choose to, go to Lowe’s. They honor guaranteed items and certainly can look up a transaction when you have the item and the purchase date. Sad day for Home Depot. We are redoing our house and won’t be shopping here.
They had ridgid brushless combo packs on sale buy one and receive two free batteries the ad said sale at register so after buying the combo pack the salesman said that thier all out of batteries and that we should have checked for batteries fist. no rain checks and we have to return the combo pack to go to another store Im so sick of being misreated by these CRAPPY CHINESE STORES! F Y I Lowes is any better either with there hassle free warranty screw them as well
Worst service ever at the rental tools department Today not helpful At all they made you feel like you were bothering them that’s why the company is going down ,Bc there not taking care of the customer .So sad Home Depot used be good now some of the people that work there don’t even have basic peoples skills and lacking personality. 👎
20 employees walk past me, never acknowledging me or ask if i need help.I first enter home depot from the garden center and this lady was delegating to 3 or 4 employees working on Halloween display, while walking into the store this female manager flied right straight at me doesnt smile say excuse , and i being a senior have to move out of her way.The stores manager , Dianne needs to have a meeting as to how to acknowledge and be courteous to the paying customer!Im not through with this yet as i will communicate with Home Depot headquarters
Spent over $9,000 on a new roof and have had multiple issues. First, a large ice damn built up the first winter after the new roof was installed. Home depot sub-contractors came out and installed a new smart vent about 5 rows up from the soffit, which doesnt make much sense given that the problem is with too much heat at the soffit. I am using exterior heating wires to keep it from happening again.We also recently had an inspection that found heavy mold in our attic. This mold was there prior to the new roof being installed (I have pictures from an energy audit that proves this), but Home Depot will not take any responsibility. They either a) put a new roof and new insulation on an attic they knew had heavy mold and the poor ventilation in this attic causes it to be too moist so the mold just kept spreading, or b) tried and failed to remediate the mold and the poor ventilation in this attic causes it to be too moist and the remaining mold just kept spreading. Either way, we paid $9000+ for a Home Depot roof and insulation with improper ventilation. Now we are looking at thousands of dollars to clean up their poor workmanship.
Asst manager told me the advertised expert repair man was not a mechanic just good with small engines. When i explained my snow blower wasnt working he informed me the repair man gave me bad info on how to winterize and i should have followed manuel, not their expert
Horrible experience we bought a fridge for my elderly parents for Xmas paid extra to have delivered and brought in the house called thresh hold charge of 100 dollars and when they got to the house they said it would not fit thru a standard 36 in fr door and said they cant bring it in and.left on fr.porch..i have remodeled my last to investments homes thru them and spent over 100k between both and this is how they treat a customer ij called the mgr at the hall rd location where I bought it and he said I can bring the fridge back if I want. Lowes here I come I would advise to not go to homedepot.
I was supposed to receive a fridge and oven and a washing machine on a Monday it did not come Monday I went into the store myself there was a mix-up with the oven so then I was guaranteed to receive my items on a Friday come Friday I receive only the oven then I called ask whats going on I received nothing but attitude and being told now I have to wait 7 more days so please do yourself a favor save yourself some aggravation time and money and go somewhere else
Rather shop at Home Depot then Lowe went to Lowes at Hall Road and Hayes and walked around for a half an hour trying to find somebody to help me and he handed me some s*** that old one the only one thats working so Im only the one thats working for Isles Cry Me a River

2022-04-26We went to this Home Depot for a faucet and ended up in the paint department. Steve was able to hook us up with the correct paint for our deck and was able to color match it from some paint we bought last year at a different store. The customer service at this location is superb! The mobility carts were plentiful which meant that I actually got to go in and shop....HUGE win for me and if I could give Home Depot extra stars for this accommodation I would. Overall experience was fantastic right from the start and this is now one of my favorite places to shop and we will definitely be back! Thank-you Home Depot!

2022-06-04Very well stocked... the paint dept was very knowledgeable. Sometimes its hard to navigate the aisles with displays and ladders left. I feel there were a lot of employees that could have helped but didnt. But overall Im in and out of there in a timely fashion.

2022-04-15At Home Depot today to make a return I did not have the receipt. Usually the receipts fade and they become unreadable. I paid cash and was not registered with the pro desk app. So I could not make a return with out a receipt and all the time I have been in and out of the store I just now heard about the pro app which sounds like something for the contractors. Anyways point I’m trying to make the two ladies working the return desk told me they couldn’t return without a receipt and things have changed. Usually it would be put on a store credit but not this time. They told me to call the Home Depot number and said “ I hope that works for you’. Not even try to get a manager to help resolve the issue. They were very rude and didn’t offer any type of resolve to keep me as a customer. I’m glad I didn’t make the 12,000 dollar purchase of lumber with them. That is no way to keep a customer with poor customer service. I hope this review helps others that shop there or are first time customers making purchases. Good bye Home Depot.

2021-05-02May 2021. Below average grade of treated lumber. Garden center looked fine. Bought some OSI caulking. Not really Depot issue, but all the tubes of caulking are filled less 1 3/4 from the end of the tube. Feels like a ripoff. otherwise its a typical home depot with competitive prices , minimal staffing and no hot dogs anymore. 😢

2022-04-04I was having a having a hard time finding things and a man approached me named Mark. He was so unbelievably rude to me and talked to me as if I was stupid. I just needed some guidance to point me in the right direction. Another employee told me Mark is the ASSISTANT MANAGER!!!! So unfortunate to see that someone who treats other so poorly is somewhat I hire up. I can only imagine how he treats employees. Very dissatisfied and disappointed with this encounter and it’s not my first time that he’s treated me this way. If there was a way to rate negative stars I would! Sad that this one individual can make me not want to return here ever again when it’s my local Home Depot and most of the other employees are so kind.

2022-06-27All they sell is SMALL BLOCK CHEVY items, meaning.....they dont sell a wide variety of , or, selection of meaningful items, lowes the same. Way mire selection at Ace or Tractor supply !!!

2022-01-27I feel like I should have part ownership in Home Depot by now. I spend a lot of time and money here. This latest trip was a birthday visit for my grandson; he likes to build stuff so we let him go up and down all the aisles and pick out a few tools for his new workbench we made for him at Christmas.

2021-12-21Good experience. It was easy to order and picking it up a breeze. Whod a thunk I would find hand painted tapered candles from South Africa at a much better price than a specialty web site. I Googled the candles and Home Depot popped up. Wild!
