First time visitor of this location and I was not disappointed! The menu has something for everyone and made to order. The product matches the pictures and let me just say, I have found my new local spot for all things ice cream. The wait was quick and tables outside let you enjoy your treat right away. I am so glad I stopped in and tried this delicious ice cream place.
Staff wasnt friendly or accommodating. I brought a large group of children for a treat. They skipped one child and served others before her . Then we came back for a second round of treats and they told us they had turned off their soft serve machine early (45 minutes before closing) and couldnt help us. Very disappointing. Wont be back.
I got a rocket cone but instead of the bottom cone, i got a cup so that way it doesnt drip. they gave me the smallest cup ever with a load of ice cream in it and it dripped all over my hands, my legs, my brand new white shirt. they also forgot my sisters ice cream and we were waiting for at least 10 minutes, this isn’t the first time they’ve forgotten too. definitely never coming back. wish they’d have employees that actually listen to your order
I love this place. I look forward to it opening every year. My favorite thing about this place is the many different flavored soft serve ice cream cones. My favorite is the lemon. All the places that Ive gone to for a soft serve cone usually only have vanilla, chocolate, and twist. Not this place though. Its a step above.
I ordered an Almond Joy parfait. It came with chocolate syrup, chocolate chips, chocolate syrup, shredded coconut, over vanilla ice cream. Sadly, I only found 1 half of an almond in the whole thing. When I got to the bottom there were a bunch of salt and nut crumbs. Couldnt eat the last part. Yuck! Not my Idea of good at all. I
Giving 3 stars instead of 1 because I really do appreciate the vegan soft serve options and how many there are, BUT they are not very cautious when dealing with it. My FIRST ever visit here was a nightmare. I havent consumed ANY dairy in 2 years, making my body react as if I were allergic to it if I were to accidentally ingest it, like I did my first visit here. Upon walking up, I read on their main sign 24 vegan soft serve flavors (or something along those lines) so I was really excited to see which 24 flavors were available. I wasnt greeted by the employee, she just had the window open and was looking at us, waiting. So I said hi, then asked her WHICH flavors could be made vegan. I was told they ALL could be. I ordered the cake batter and the cheesecake mixed, and specified both vegan. Even as they handed out my order, she called it vegan. Later that night I was woken up with the WORST stomach pains, and I got very, very sick. I had no idea what couldve caused this, until I went back here for my second visit and tried ordering the (what I was told was vegan) cake batter, only to find out that is the ONLY flavor they cannot make vegan. I was shocked. I told the employee last time I was there they told me it was vegan and she kind of just brushed it off and said well maybe they used a vegan cake batter that time, but right now its not vegan... I remembered I took a picture of my ice cream that night so I went back to check the date and sure as heck it was the night I was really sick. I shouldve asked for the owner right then and there to discuss this serious matter, but I was so upset I just wanted to get my stuff and go. I later posted a little warning on my Instagram story to all my vegan followers who may go here, and tagged the location. Dairy Dans did respond to me apologizing, and I know theres only so much you can do- but I feel like it wasnt very sincere. This couldve sent me to the ER, its not something that should be taken lightly and the owner said they agreed and would let the employees know about this issue. Fast forward to a few days later and a vegan friend of mine went for ice cream and tells me the cake batter is still not marked not vegan or taken off the list that implies it can be made vegan, so she asked about it and they told her theres a sign up INSIDE the building for the employees so they know, but why wouldnt you advertise this to your customers as well? This happened to me at my FIRST visit, and I get that mistakes happen, but to prevent this from happening again, dont you think you should take all precautions possible? What happens when one of the employees forgets to check that sign saying its not vegan, or maybe theyre too busy to check it? Youre risking another customers health. It should be known and very apparent which options can be made dairy free so this doesnt fall back on your business and employees. I will continue to come here because as I said I do appreciate the options, and I understand mistakes happen. I will just be VERY cautious and make 100% sure every time that Im getting dairy free products, and I hope you all do to. The cake batter CAN NOT BE MADE VEGAN. Fyi to save someone the troubles I went though.
Went there the week of 3/14/17. Was the 5th car in line. It took 40 minutes to get an ice cream. WOW. DO NOT USE DRIVE THRU. Owner needs to put ordering menus up before the window so people can decide what they want before they get to the window. Maybe a ordering station in the back like McDonalds. Anything to speed your service up. Ice cream is great but not worth a 40 minute wait. Sorry for the 1 star review and just dont see waiting 40 mins. SMH!!!!!!
Well, I ordered a banana split and asked for hot fudge instead of chocolate and then I wanted EXTRA fudge and EXTRA nuts for which I wholly expected to pay EXTRA for, however, when I got home, and began eating it, I was like, where is the fudge? Then I found it! In the corner of the boat was MAYBE a quarter sized dollop. If THATS their idea of extra, Id hate to see what a regular amount would be! No extra nuts either. :( Thats ok. I live on Wildwood and Ford, so for me, it will be worth the extra two minute drive to go to King Kone in Garden City. >:(

2022-06-08Great selection for all kinds of sweet tooth cravings! I was never a huge fan of just plain vanilla, but wow something about their vanilla ice cream is just so good. Staff has always been very friendly every time I have gone. They also sell pup cups (cup of vanilla icecream with a doggie biscuit). Great place

It’ll there’s also a sink to wash hands, which is A plus .I like it that they offer no sugar added frozen yogurt and no sugar added hard scoops as well. One of my favorite places for a good treat
