Comment: I wish there was a 0 Star rating. We lived in this community for 5 years and vacated this place a year and half ago. In this past year and half i have got calls from collections twice after paying close to $2k in move out charges and getting a confirmation that we do not owe them any money. This morning again got a call and literally had to ask the collections guy to give me 24 hours and not report us to credit for a mistake that we never made. The last time we got this call, we called presidio and they confirmed that this was a mistake and no action is needed!! This afternoon was greeted by a rude receptionist who told me one of her manager is at lunch at 2:30pm and other is busy on a meeting. Refused to me give me anything other than the generic email address and had to ask a hundred times to get the managers email address. This is an absolute nightmare, think before you rent here, cos the trouble doesnt stop once you vacate, it keeps on continues !! One of the worst decision of ours was to rent with Presidio.

If it’s something where the blame cannot be shifted, they go mute.0 star for ever ongoing construction - today my both access points to my were closed !Negative star for the office person blaming it on the Alameda county and the contracting company for ill planning of work and being blatantly rude.Close to the bart makes it good, but you should navigate a bunch of 4 guys - ever smoking - huffing and puffing like rail engines 24/7 before you reach the station :)PS: Maybe Alameda county is very inefficient and comes every week and give orders. Else the office procrastinates until county serves them a stern order. Or the contractors are very bad in planning or low on payments. Each of them will blame the other two :)

Comment: INSANE MOVE-OUT CHARGES!!!Presidio managers are straight up crooks when it comes to move-out charges. Theyll rob you blind by keeping your entire deposit no matter what, and then hit you with ridiculously high bogus fees that could cost over half a months rent. Dont even think about trying to negotiate or reason with them - its like talking to a brick wall. Pay up or theyll viciously send you to collections and make you owe double.Do yourself a massive favor and avoid this Building Hell at all costs. If you have zero other options, take excessive photos/videos of every square inch when moving in and out to try to cover yourself from their shameless money-grubbing schemes.The one and only positive is the decent Indian community of residents, who are the unfortunate victims caught in this nightmare managed by heartless corporate crooks.

Comment: Terrible Customer Service ExperienceWe flew all the way from WI for our apartment hunting trip in the Bay area. Our realtor had made appointments for us and Presidio Apartments were on the list. Obviously, we did our homework before we visited the communities. We had been checking out apartments the entire long weekend in Fremont and visiting Presidio was the worst experience of all! When we arrived, we were attended by Ms. Monika Kaur. We were so excited to visit the community as we had read really good reviews about the community and the customer service experience - especially from Ms. Monika! I don’t know if we caught her on a bad day or if she was not happy working on the long weekend, but the way she treated us was SO WRONG! First off, when we let her know that we had an appointment that was made by our realtor, she said that she couldn’t find it in her system. I know that mistakes happen and it’s understandable if someone forgot to put it in the system as the long weekend was fully booked with appointments in most of the communities that we visited. Having said that, Ms. Monika did not even try to put an effort and check her system again. She gave us all kinds of looks as if she was disgusted to talk to us!!! When we asked her questions about the community, she gave us the classic answer saying “Please visit our website and you should find more information in there.” We told her that we flew across the country just to check out apartments and we really like the community and it would be great if she could give us more information on the overhead/hidden costs that are usually not mentioned on the website. To that, she answered “You will get all the information on the website.” After 10-15 mins of convincing her that we really had made an appointment and we wanted to check out the available apartments, she gave us the keys to the model apartment and assumed that we would find it ourselves without giving us the directions or a map of the community. We then asked her if she could point out directions for us and then she finally got up from her seat and printed out a map of the community for us! She talked to us as if she did us a freaking favor by letting us go around her precious community and check out the model apartment! She has no right to treat anyone in such a demeaning way and if she thinks so highly of herself then she better find a job that is not critical to customer relations. I still want to give her the benefit of doubt and say that she was probably going through something or wasn’t well or for whatever reasons she treated us this way and is not the person who treats others unfairly. But the fact that we are relocating across the country and we made a trip just to check out apartments, I expected her to treat us better especially after knowing our situation.About the community, it’s very pretty and well-maintained! There are lots of covered/open parking spots all over the community which is really rare to come across in the bay area so I would give brownie points for that. The overall vibe is pretty chill across the community and the apartment layout is good for the price that you pay!! On top of that, it’s a gated community so you know there are no safety issues. Even though we really liked the community, we won’t be staying here because of the terrible customer service we received from Ms. Monika. I’m not sure if this was a one-off situation from her side but we still didn’t deserve to get treated this way!!!Apologies for such a long review.

Presidio now has a new Management team resulting in vastly improved customer service and maintenance fulfillment, Recently we had a plumbing crisis and I was pleasantly surprised and amazed at the diligence and follow up from the Presidio staff to complete the work from start to finish, What was doubly amazing was the hands on work and supervision from the Property Manager Kyle N who ensured that we were taken care off well and the staff did the work according to plan, This experience made us glad that we chose to have Presidio as our primary residence.

I witnessed them towing the car of a door dash driver who put blinkers on and stepped outside to deliver the food to someone’s door. Poor guy was surprised that the car was gone in 2-3 mins. You only get only 7 guests pass per month so cannot have more guests over a month’s time. Eventually your friends will stop visiting you. Also when you end the lease they will charge you for a new glass stove top, even if they knew it was already bad when we rented it. It was included in the inspection form beforehand. Still they charged! Overall, it’s not a pleasant experience to live here. It’s more so like you are not renting but living with management company’s rules, cannot invite or socialize with your friends. The management is not friendly after you sign the lease. Bad living experience ever! I was staying in a corner apt and some random people visited in the afternoon saying they are a cop and a lawyer, asked a lot of questions. I complained about that to the management but no action or no security check. The only advantage of this apt is they are right next to the Bart station. Nothing else is good.

Comment: Update after staying 1 year, reducing another star -1. Continuous repairs, loud noises and water shut off, just received the 11th email this year for water shut off, twice in Nov.2. Parking fees are exorbitant, yet you only get 7 guest permits/month. Besides the monthly parking fees you pay for your own car.3. Towing is as common as breathing for them. No leeway, no warnings, almost every resident at some point has paid towing fees.——————Update after a month staying here -Reduce 1 star only because just the week after we moved, the prices had gone down so if we were not rushed by the leasing office, we might have gotten a better deal. Otherwise, its a great responsive team.——————I like the apartments, spacious and quite close to a lot of stores. Indah was great, she helped us with the leasing. She was patient and answered all our questions.

Comment: UNSAFE GATED COMMUNITY. From the false claims, the leasing offices careless attitude, and the lack of security within the complex, I wish I could give them a zero star rating. Personal belongings missing from armrest and sunglasses holder from locked car inside the Presidio parking for which we are charged extra 50 dollars per month. The false claims of security patrol at night when they didn’t bother to come all night inspite of complaint to them in the evening regarding the episode. Being schooled at the leasing office that I am dumb enough not to know about these cases happening for keyless cars in their apartments where they live too and it’s something very casual for them and also they don’t want to inform the other residents about it as obviously they don’t want to accept their weak security measures at the complex. After discussing this episode with fellow neighbors I got to know one more such episode 3 weeks back and homeless people inside complex in broad daylight being spotted and chasing people inside twice in a month. The packages from the lockers are also missing all the time.The leasing office is well aware of all episodes but they don’t want to inform the residents. They are least bothered about the residents and made a mockery of this episode by asking me exact time of theft for them to check their inexistent security camera footage. The only good thing about presidio was the gated community part as I have a small baby otherwise the house quality is TERRIBLE, but since now it’s not even safe please stay away. STAY AWAY!

Comment: This property is okay, however for EV owners beware! If you’re looking at a property where you can charge your electric cars while in the complex, DO NOT rent this place. They advertise they have EV chargers in the complex but their EV chargers are always down, not working for MONTHS now. We, the residents have made many complaints about this to the property manager but they did NOT do anything. Now, only 2 chargers are working for the hundreds of EV car owners in the property. Frustrating for the residents and deceptive advertising for the management.

Indah was super helpful from the beginning with helping us find the perfect location within the community that suited all our needs. She even takes the time to show us where we would get a shaded room vs. one in the sun which is super helpful to know and learn before leasing. I would highly recommend this community there are 2 pools, lots of outdoor greenery with nice walking paths, a super big playground area for kids, and the customer service here is great!

Comment: I’m writing this review for the Presidio Apartment. If you’re looking to find your new home. This is the place to go. Ask for Indah as she is very knowledgeable about the whole move in process. She is kind and patience and anything you ask she knows the right answer. She will give you a tour of the apartments. After moved in she still willing answer questions. The Presidio apartments is a wonderful place to stay. Full of trees and flowers around the gated community. You can feel safe walking around and even at night as there’s security patrol that circle the community. They have two pools one indoor and one outdoor.They just renovated the gym. If you have kids the children’s playground is even better than the one outside the community. All and all great place to stay.

Comment: Omg my whole journey at the place is like a roller coaster ride because of the very strict rules. Management is also very rude in terms of their behavior.One of my friends who came to see me got his car towed and the towing company charged $500. It was just 5min late and I didn’t register his car in the app and the towing people took away. When I went to seek some help from Leasing office they simply turned down me saying we don’t have any right to talk to the towing company.Secondly the apartment is always trying to do some kind of maintenance works and keeps bothering to remove the car by 9 ish in the morning if not the car will be towed.The management is not friendly at all and they don’t even understand the situation and help residents.I also felt some sort of racism towards Asians especially Indians. Yes they are very very tough in terms of their behavior and they just say it’s rules.Anyways I’m out from that apartment now. I only suggest who ever wants to lease just be cautious with the management people.

Nice neighbors and reactive management.Everything could have been great but... when we visited the apartment, we were told the outdoor pool would be closing for renovation. We were told multiple times that the indoor pool would stay open throughout the year and could close sometime in late 2024. So we moved to an apartment right next to the indoor pool as we planned to use it often.Weve been here for 2 months, and we just received an email to let us know that the indoor pool will close in a week until May 2024 (at the end of our lease.)Again, we decided to move to an apartment near the indoor pool to use it. But instead, we end up with a closed facility and probably noise et workers all day long.We wished we were given the correct information before we moved in.This pool was very important for me and my family. Were very disappointed.

Comment: In the move out process. So far the only inconvenience has been trying to pay our prorated rent for the last few days were here for the month. Back and forth with leasing office and they had to submit a ticket to IT. Currently in H205 and Im really just writing this review to warn anyone that the guy above us has a full on Olympics marathon in his apartment everyday. There was a couple with a dog above us before him and never heard them. Recently started working remote and all I hear is dude upstairs - goes on all day, well into 1-2am. All you can really do is tell security over and over and Ive been too defeated to even notice if they talk to the guy or not.

Comment: I would give zero stars if possible. The leasing company will loot your money- Firstly there is lot of noise with the on-going repairs in all the buildings. There will be some construction work which goes on all the time.- The residents cars will be towed with no reason, and they do not care if the residents cars are towed. The towing company charges hefty amount.- At the end of the lease, you will be charged few grands mentioning that lot of things have to be replaced.- They charge insane amount of rent just because the community is near BART.- Residents will be getting at least one email a day saying not to do this and not to do that. This is like a hostel.The only good thing about this community is BART and looks good. Dont waste your money paying rent here. There are better communities in and around the same place.

My second parking car spot doesn’t have a roof to cover the damage from sunlight.I think it is not fair to increase the parking fee that much, especially for those who want to stay and renew the lease for a third time.If you are comparing to other properties in the area, the Asher parking I think is more sophisticated and more secure than here. All cars are already wet and getting affected by the rain and wind. I do not believe that is the case with the cars in the Asher buildings.

Comment: I moved here about 2 months back from Union City and absolutely love these apartments! Indah helped me sign up and I regularly chat with all of the management in the office and everyone is very friendly. I moved from my previous apartment because it was not safe and management did close to nothing about that. I walk my dog regularly inside and outside of this apartment and have never felt unsafe. The apartment itself is also a perfect size with plenty of closet space. The common area is always well maintained. At any given time, I see at least 2-3 maintenance team members working and regularly also see cleaning crew keeping up with everything. The amenities are also perfect if you live alone or have kids. Theres a park, indoor and outdoor pool, a small gym and a clubhouse to rent for small events. The staff is extremely friendly and very thoughtful to keep dog treats handy when residents with their dog visits (or when your dog drags you to the office because he/she knows they have treats). I am very grateful to have found this apartment complex when I did and I couldnt have asked for a better staff to assist (Indah is my dogs favorite!) with everything from signup to quickly fixing any maintenance issues that may occur from time to time!

However, we had a horrible experience throughout our stay.Before move-in:We were told that the stairwell construction that blocked access to our doorstep and that created noise upward of 100db during the daytime would be completed before our move-in, but it was actually completed 6-7 weeks after we moved in.After move-in:We were constantly harassed by noise at night from the neighbor upstairs and the management turned a deaf ear to all our complaints. My wife developed sleep disorders and I developed health issues due to the noise.After move-out:We had done no damage to the apartment except that the electric cooktop glass had turned slightly white on one burner, which is usual wear and tear, and the carpet had a slight spot. However, the management tried to extort $1400 from us for this and refused to return the security deposit of $500. After much fighting for our rights, the management charged us around $600 and never repaid the security deposit. I can assure you that no one who has stayed in Presidio has ever got their security deposit back.There you go, rent at your own risk!

Comment: You should read through all the content in this review before you sign the lease with the Presidio.I would give negative start if there is an option. The assistants in the leasing office are nice and helpful, the community itself is a nice place to live (not very secure though), the managers are HORRIBLE. When you move out, get prepare to receive a couple thousands bill including items which are not reasonable and legal. When I did pre-checkout walkthrough with the apartment assistant, he said they would only charge for cleaning and partial painting(not sure why as I only lived here for 11 months and not even put a nail on any walls). However after I moved out, never heard from them until I reach out to them regarding the deposit refund and received more than 2 thousand bill(painting, tub glazing, cleaning, stove glass). I reached out to the Presidio manager Linda Berry and did not have a happy discussion with her and she insisted I should pay for unreasonable items which are not listed whey we did the pre-checkout walkthrough together. She also threat some collection agency would pull my account if I do not pay.Apart from that, security is also a concern. My car was scratched by a neighbor who used a U-haul van moving out when I parked in the parking lot. When I reach out to the office, they told me there is only one security camera in front of leasing office. I reached out to the manager and did not get any help. I tried to publish messages on the Presidio community message channel to get peoples support to install more security cameras and my messages were sneakily deleted by the management.If you are considering sign the lease, there are a lot other better options around this area. If you already lived here, please remember to take a very detailed video as evidence when you move out and consult a lawyer if you receive a thousand dollar bill.

If you do not register the guest car even for a short visit of 15 mins, their car can and does get towed for a 500-600$ owner expense.While these rules are made clear in documentation - not creating an hourly rate, overcharging at the rate of 15$ for a single spot when there are plenty of free guest parking spots and towing cars without notice is a very hostile practice. And when there are emergencies, all they care about is damage to their property and not the inconvenience of the occupants. I had a couple of instances where a kitchen sink was not draining and a toilet sink was not draining. I got a response that it is not an emergency according to them. It is only an emergency if the water is overflowing and damaging the floor. Incredible!!! And after all this, once you vacate, you get a huge settlement bill. BEWARE of the settlement bill. If you are leasing here, be prepared to shell of a few thousands of dollars once you vacate.I havent met a single tenant who is happy living here.

We had few additional charges for not doing their job properly (tub reglaze) but they are charging us which I felt its just stealing our money. We had few major issues where there was a leak from the roof in S302, there was continuous leaks in Kitchen sink for months in H206. We struggled for almost 1 year since the temporary fixes didnt work, broken patio door and they took 3 months to replace it and we got adjusted with all these without making any noise. But its not how their management team treat us. I trust in GOD and I hope he will deliver his judgement to the management team at the appropriate time. We had very bad experiences with Presidio management. Apartment and Community is OK but very bad and worst management team.

She gives us a step by step process including great foods around the apartment.One thing though, we were supposed to move into a unit as planned, however they moved us to another unit last minute due to someone still lived in the former unit. I was very disappointed given the former unit located right in front of the main gate, and I thought it was a bit unprofessional and lacking in management to change our unit last minute. To this she happily agreed.On our next visit, while Indah was busy with another potential renter, Linda (who is the community manager) greeted us, listened to us and answered our queries.I have rented at a couple other bay area locations and have interacted with plenty other leasing teams. But what sets the Presidio team apart is that they really do seem to care.Linda could have allowed us to wait for Indah. But she went out of her way to take care of our concerns while Indah was busy!The team even played a movie for our daugher while we were doing the paperwork!Both Linda and Indah at the leasing office are exceptionally caring and attentive and I cant recommend them enough!As far as the apartments are concerned, we visited the available 2 bd/ba apartments. All of them were very spacious and had all new appliances. I also really liked their floor plans.The community also seems to be clean and quiet all the time. There is a kids play area and an indoor swimming pool.Last but not least, courtesy of Linda and Indah, we got a good rate for the apartment which we liked. There was also a 1 month free rental promotion at the time, which made the deal even sweeter.

Very responsive and polite.The Presidio is very close to BART station and if you work in the city one of the best option to live around the BayArea. Very convenient to go to the SJC, OAK and SFO airport. It takes 20 minutes to reach SJC or OAK airport by car. You can take BART right into the OAK and SFO airports.The Presidio has one of the best managed outdoor space. The green space is meticulously planned and thats why you see flowers at any point of the year. Trees are trimmed regularly.Presidio has ample parking. You will always have a spot to park your car at the nearest location to your apartment. You need to pay for the parking spots. Even after paying for a spot it would be difficult to get a spot to park but Presidio doesnt have the issue.Guest parking is good but I wish they had some dedicated guest parking spots for which you dont need to get guest parking permit. Right now whenever guests visit you need to print parking permit. This rule came in as people used to park and take BART. It would be nice if they come up with an alternate idea.Garbage disposal is not well maintained. Generally it gets full during the weekends and you will see garbage bags on the floor around the dumpsters.

Comment: I would have given negative rating if it was possible. I have had a horrible move-in experience and cheated by the property management company. I wish I had paid heed to all the bad ratings and reviews here.I was told that the apartment was fully renovated but there were multiple issues as soon as I moved in, including leaking kitchen sink. I even had difficulty moving in because the stairwell access nearest to my apartment was blocked and all furniture had to go through a narrow passage. However, this was the least of it. The stairwell next to my apartment was undergoing reconstruction and before lease signing, I was told by the leasing agent, Carlos, that it will be completed within 10-12 days of my move-in on June 26. I verified this multiple times and he kept saying it will be done by July 7. He also said that the noisy part is complete, but once I moved in, I realized that I had been lied to! The construction manager told me that the ETA is Aug 24 and it was never meant to complete in July. I was shocked to hear this and realized that everything that Carlos had told us was a blatant lie, just to get us to rent this unit. I also discovered that many other tenants in the same building had moved out because of the construction. My door access is blocked for 8 hours during the construction (see pic) and I need to let the workers know in advance when to go out or come in. I understand that construction and maintenance have to take place time to time, but the issue is of false information. If we had known that the issue will be there for 2 months instead of 10 days, we would never have agreed to the rent that we are paying and would have opted for something else.I am posting this review for anyone who might consider renting an apartment in this community. I hope the management makes note of this and either expedite the construction so that it completes in the next 1-2 weeks, or compensate us for the noisy and unlivable condition and false information.

Comment: I have lived in US for 10 years and this is the best rental experience that we have had so far.Location:Huge plus, lot can be done by walking or short drive. Next to Bart. Great schools.Landscaping:Top notch landscaping and beautiful gardens. I simply love it.Facilities:Very decent pools, gym.Apartment:Spacious, good amenities, in good condition.Management and staff:This I can’t stress enough- each and everyone here talk respectfully and show genuine care while interacting or addressing any issues. All service requests are met with promptness.For issues that we face as an apartment community management addresses those with good intent and best effort.This is a safe and beautiful apartment complex. We are sad to move out as we are relocating out of country. We do wish this place and all the staff all the very best. Comment: Nice apartments, great floor-plans, brilliantly accessible to all sorts of stuff, from BART, to Lake Elizabeth, Kaiser medical facilities, COSTCO...its a fantastic location. Monika (Leasing Agent) was fantastic showing us around the complex, answering all of our questions honestly, and with lots of context. Incredibly affordable ($2,650) 2-bedroom / 2 bathroom units with Washer/Dryer in unit...NO JOKE...WASHER / DRYER IN UNIT! This is insane for the bay area. Fremont is a great city, to boot. For those of you who are reading the negative reviews, make sure you take into account the items being brought up. Getting towed, paying late fees, appliances breaking down...this is what happens in apartment buildings all across the nation. Ive yet to speak to anyone who has lived at The Presidio who said that their work orders for maintenance were never fulfilled, or that their neighbors were overly loud or rude, or that the management team was unreasonable. It an apartment complex, for Christs sake. There are rules and regulations. You also live above and below families and people with all sorts of quirks and habits. If you dont like some of the noises you hear after 8am and before 10pm, then maybe buy a house in the middle of a forest.***UPDATE - 3/25/2021 ***We had our first interaction with the maintenance team today. They did not disappoint. They responded quickly to our requests, and were thorough in their service. 3 of the 4 initial items we discovered during our move-in were simply due to a lack of understanding with how the appliances worked or what light-switches controlled what outlets. The other cosmetic issue we requested service on was documented and scheduled for repair quickly. Santos Castro, our maintenance rep helped me understand how our apartment functions without making me feel stupid, even though I admitted as much...that I was stupid...because I was. Overall, he was excellent, helpful, and if hes any indication of the kind of support the maintenance crew typically provides, then theyre a good crew.

Comment: Update: Thanks to the Property Manager, Linda for a quick turnaround. She understood my concern and sent a technician to fix the issue.Worst management. They sent a bunch of people(7 members) into the unit to change all the switch boards and water taps even though there are no issues with it. Those people touched each and every part of my house which is really scary considering the pandemic situation. Don’t know what they did, now half of my switch boards stopped working for which i’m afraid to call them to fix it.

Comment: Worst community to move in. Residents need to see map and decide on the apartment they need to move in as community doesnt allow residents to see actual apartment and we did the same. To our surprise, the day when we came to collect keys for move in, we got to know that the map displayed on website was wrong and the apartment is actually on the opposite side with no natural light. We had no option but to move in and was told by the management to send them an email so that they can fix the issue. Nobody from management followed or bothered to check with us on the same. Later when we followed up, its been 1 month already but we are not getting any response and still waiting without being able to settle down or unbox our stuff so that they are able to help us. We waited for 2 months just to find out right apartment for us, left many good apartments in other communities, had to pay to movers for the shifting cost and this is what we got. Since, we have been going through this mental harassment, we are writing this review to help others who might be thinking of moving here. I wish I had option to give negative stars.

They are charging people for their own mistake. My sons bikes wheel was also stolen 4 months ago. There are rarely seen cockroaches in the apartment..........They resolved some of the issues above so I changed the review.

Comment: Just want folks to be aware that may not get your full security deposit back (for us it was $500). The Presidio requires you pay to for painting and cleaning fees even if you keep the apartment in good condition. However, the management was willing to work with us on the final amount we got back.Also, beware of Building E. There is some kind of major plumbing issue in the building that they are not up front about. It will require the water to be shut off every other month for 3-4 hours and they will give you only a 24 hours heads up that these repairs are going to happen.

Comment: The house is nice and bright in general .. especially the electronic home appliances are very good ... the kitchen is very nice and useful ... but there are some problems, for example, although there is a home disinfected, still there are cockroaches .. Also, the toilets are often clogged ... the balkonys selling made wood and there are gaps between the woods so it drains.the air conditioner in the living room is below and insufficient. your home is very hot in summer ...

Comment: I lived in Presidio for about 4.5 years and I should say I have a very pleasant experience. First and prime most, the apartment is a very safe community. It is a gated one, unlike most others in Fremont. The management team led by Mohammed are all wonderful, esp. Marisol, Jayne, and Mark who is not working there now. The management often conducts parties for Christmas/Summer/etc. The swimming pools are great, with an indoor one too. There is a play area now that small kids enjoy. Its a lively place to live in. It gets a little bit louder near the play area so I would suggest to take a look at all the available units and choose the one if you want a quiet unit. The apartment units are getting renovations and they look more beautiful now with newer appliances and hardwood flooring. Keep in mind there will be issues in the community like any other communities. But you can request for a service request on the phone or by calling them, and they are attended immediately for emergency issues. There is an after hours emergency line too. The maintenance staff, Jose, Mario, and all the others are also very nice people. I would highly recommend anyone to this apartment community in Fremont.

Comment: The freezer stopped working in my apartment and was never fixed despite repeated requests. The freezer was only cooling the stuff just like the main fridge. Those going to live in apartment R307 ensure that you don’t face this issue. Overall, I had several bad experiences and would not recommend this apartment.Fire alarm kept beeping in my apartment due to low battery for 2 days! Managment here said they are busy with other emergencies and didnt take care of it because a beeping fire alarm is not an emergency. I have bitter experiece of living here and felt trapped. Beware of the management and owner and be prepared to live in this hell if you have signed the lease.Additionally, the owner is lying here that freezer service was done and no further complaints were made. There were 3 separate request made and everytime someone would come and check but will not fix it so I gave up.

Comment: I can give less then zero stars for this apartments. I lived in this community for 1 year and 9 months, they gave me nothing but hard time everytime I have a request. I registered my car for parking in the community when I first moved in to presidio, but after living there for 1year and 7 months, when I had to park my car in the uncovered parking, they towed it accidentally and blamed me that I did not register my car with them. I registered my car and it was in my file 3 months before they towed my car. When I saw my car was missing and started freaking out, they deleted my cars registration from my file (from the two apartments I lived there) and threw the blame on me. For which I had to pay 400$ just to get back my car from the towing company. After I moved out of the apartments, they lost my mail and they keep saying different stories everytime I call them. They lost my California car registration that I was waiting for. Do not even consider staying in such irresposible apartments.

Comment: This apartment looks really good from outside. The two bedroom is really spacious, lots of parking, close to the bart. But couple of months after living here, we noticed BED BUGS in one of the rooms in our apartment. I let the office know and the manager just says bed bugs are all over Fremont and they seemed to pretty acceptive of the fact that its pretty normal around here or they will blame it on you that you must have gotten it somehow. I should mention here that they did take quick action regarding this issue and will have treatment in the apartment which requires us to pack everything so they can spray and take care of the bed bugs but its just an added stress to deal with all of this.PLEASE MOVE IN AT YOUR OWN RISK! IF ANYTHING, ATLEAST ASK BEFORE MOVING IN WHETHER THEY HAVE BED BUGS IN THE COMMUNITY AND IF THEY DENY IT, THEY ARE LYING! THEY WILL PROBABLY SAY ITS ALL OVER FREMONT.Never had the issue of bed bugs in the apartment that I lived in for 10 years in Fremont prior to moving here.I would probably rate this as my worst experience ever.

Comment: They should have done better job on routinely preventive maintenance! Its been only a month since we moved in. Today at 4:00am, the smoke alarm beeps drastically only because the battery is low. We had to get up and searched on YouTube to find a way to stop it. But after we tried several times on things like removing the battery, pressing the button for 15s. Nothing helped but it beeps even louder and more frequent. I think inspecting the smoke alarm and changing the battery should be a routine job done regularly especially before giving the apt to new tenants. I felt very bad about their pathetic preventive maintenance.

Comment: The way they rent apartment doesnt sound quite usual, to me.I went their to enquiry as its looks like a heaven for Bart commutes, as one block after Fremont Bart station.They asked for a deposit and an application with a fee, which leads to a credit check, before even shows the original apartment.As per their procedure, as I spoke with then on an enquiry, they only clean and make it ready to view, Im not speaking of rent here just to VIEW, only when someone applied for the apartment, Thats something strange to me.Definitely Im not the one who apply for an apartment before I see whats Im applying for move-in, sorry!!They offered me a virtual tour of model apartment on computer and said every apartment has the same layout.

Comment: Ive been living here for 3 months and I really like it! Its a safe, quiet and clean community. The price is good (I pay $2,200 for a 1 bedroom which is GOOD for the area!) The few issues Ive had were resolved in less than 24 hours (our washing machine was really loud so they replaced it with a brand new one, and my neighbor parked over the line and into my parking spot, and they resolved it right away). Apartment searching is aweful, so if you want a place that is clean and close to bart, I suggest Presidio.

Comment: After living here for over a year now, were moving out mainly because of the squeaky floor noise from the apartment above us. I believe this is a common issue across many apartments here. Other pros and cons below:Pros:- Walking distance from Bart- Two swimming pools, one of them is a sun room pool- Maintenance team available all 7 daysCons:- Squeaky floor noise from your upstairs neighbor- Unplanned water shut downs puts you in embarrassing situations, pray to god youre not in the bathroom during that time :) This has happened multiple times.- No centralized air conditioning or heater, the only window mounted air conditioner available in the living /dining space is so old and will make so much noise that we never turn it on.- If youre not in first floor then your patio will be really small and most probably the wooden floors there will be in a bad condition.Overall, if you want to live closer to BART take your chance.
