The Salvation Army Family Store & Donation Center in other cities:
Dropping off donations is easy and convenient! Pull up on the side of the building under an awning and volunteers will come out and help you unload, if needed they will get it out for you. They will give you a receipt for tax purposes also. Inside, the store is clean and well organized. The staff is friendly and helpful. Each week they change the sale items according to price tag color. The doors are not automatic, but the aisles are wide and easy to maneuver with wheelchair or other assistive device. Great place to find great deals!
Great store i like going there and seeing what kind of things they have in. Only thing is they have a couple of women who work there who are very rude all the time. If you dont like the job then dont work there. I understand we all have bad days but how can you be haveing a bad day all the time? Other then them 2 workers its a great place the rest of the women out front are very nice and helpful.
My visit was nothing to brag about. I was not greeted upon entering the store but this may have been due to the fact that the employees were discussing the behavior of another patrons child. As I went to check out another conversation was occurring about a different customer situation. I found this to be very unprofessional and counterproductive. Besides that the store was clean and organized.
50% off day not everything included got to checkout employees seemed stressed and slightly rude not the friendliest and one cashier wasnt happy when she got a customer mumbled under her breath very short with people asking questions as a former retail store manager you not only prepare your store you prepare yourself and your staff as well so your customers have a enjoyable shopping experience and were more likely to come back 🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️🤷♀️
I dropped off 3 bags of clothes into their drop off after hours Box and was waiting because I was on the phone in the manager came out yelling at me telling me that I had to leave or she was calling the cops!!! Was not a nice woman at all, her name was Teresa. I shopped here about 4 days a week and because of her I will not be returning. Nor will I be donating to that Salvation Army anymore. She was very unprofessional and I will make sure that my friends and family know to donate elsewhere.
I like how clean and organized it is, but Country & Western music does not belong on in these stores. All over the US when I go to these thrift stores Christian music plays. Here they play some fuzzy country music channel. Even though we have 3 Christian radio stations that come in crystal clear.

2022-06-13I got some spoons and another can opener that opens the top of the can. Also a pj short set. A Stone Co leather organizer purse, two sun dresses and an interesting basket box. I also got a Vera Bradley purse and a couple skirts. I love this store, always something interesting!

2021-10-05Decent (mildly overpriced) stuff- but a friend and I came here a few months ago. We both work retail and try to make sure to never go to a store close to closing time. The store closes at six, and we got there at five to quickly grab a few shirts. At five fifteen the employee started shutting the lights off all around us, and yelled over to us that they were closing in a half hour (try forty five minutes) and that we needed to hurry up.At five twenty we had finished picking up a few items and went to checkout. At this point the employee had ALL the lights off, and without even looking at us told us to take our clothes off the hangers ourselves since she was now in a hurry. Granted, usually my friend and I do this anyways, but the employee was very rude. She was yanking the items from our hands to scan them, and didn’t say a word to us for the entire rest of the time.We were both very confused, as we left the store with about forty minutes to go until their actual close.

2021-09-22I understand policy is policy but I’ve bought three electronics (lamp, toaster oven, and coffe pot maker) and all three items are useless. None of my stuff even turned on when I plugged them in. They will not refund me my money because “all sales are final” the worker told me that they check all items before displaying them for purchase but that’s a load of bs because they don’t
