Employees working at this store are shameless and hate working (or so it seems from their attitude). They close the store before the official close time and when you call them out on that they just say sorry and walk away. Other times I’ve been inside the store and the woman with the colored hair is so miserable and downright rude in her demeanor that it’s baffling how such an individual ever got a customer facing job. Workers here are miserable and never ever seem like they’re happy to work there. They don’t know how to talk respectfully, they never smile nor greet you properly and the fact that they think nothing of closing the store prior to stated closing hours makes this one of the most terrible ups locations I’ve come across.This location needs a total change of personnel or it needs to shut down. Based on my multiple bad experience here I avoid it like the plague and prefer giving my business to the next door USPS which has much more pleasant employees working there.
We were quoted a price of $110 to ship a chair. But when we took the chair to ship they said it would be $260. The boy with the skulls all over his clothes was rude, not helpful and offensive. I will never use UPS to ship anything again. They also need to vet their employees better. This place is a joke. Horrifying
WARNING: RIPOFF ALERT!I asked to have a package redirected to this location since I coudnt be home to sign when the UPS driver arrives. (Expensive items, so I wasnt going to authorize the signature release).When I arrived to pickup my package, I was told there is a $5 pickup fee. The clerk coudnt give me an acceptable explanation of what this fee is for. Essentially theyre charging me to have the package sit on their counter until I pick it up!When I called UPS customer service (which isnt in the USA by the way) they told me the UPS stores are franchises and are free to charge whatever they want. So basically UPS is allowing stores like this one to use the UPS name and to ripoff UPS customers as they see fit!This isnt the first time Ive had problems with UPS. Im done dealing with them! The Postal Service and FedEx are much better options, and they dont charge to have packages held at their locations!
These guys shipped an awkward sized chair for me and packaged it. First of all I thought the girl (Gabrielle) who helped me was a beast. She carried that thing for me without even a second thought. The shipping was great but the customer service from the two people I worked with was perfect. Thanks so much. That was then...……...now read the YELP review from this experience with the same UPS location, different people.
THE STAFF DOES NOT WEAR MASKS. Theres a statewide government mandate requiring masks indoors, and the staff at this store consistently flouts the law and offends (and potentially endangers) their customers. I have visited the store multiple times during the pandemic and have never seen an employee wearing a mask. During my visit today, the store was very busy and THE ONLY PEOPLE NOT MASKED WERE THE STAFF. That was the final straw for me. I will never return to this store and have contacted the UPS Store national headquarters regarding this issue.
Sorry, I tried to add this the first time but it somehow only added the rating. I got there at 6:01 on a Monday and the place was locked up tight. I know it’s possible the store hours are listed incorrectly on here, but I was trying to suggest an edit so this doesn’t happen to anyone else as you’re the only UPS store for quite a radius and drove from pretty far out to get there.

I was extremely disappointed in the attitude of JAKE. I had been patiently waiting in line and when it was my turn, Jake gave a look of disgust because I had to go through the process of purchasing labels for the 3 boxes that I was shipping, instead of an easy drop off. I was offended that he would be so put off with a scoul on his face. So I decided that this UPS franchise doesnt care if I do business there or not. I headed over to FedEX and they were happy to have my business and said that this happens all the time with this particualar UPS establishment.
Here at 8:30 and they arent even open yet but the hours say they open at 8.Back on a Saturday its 10:15 they arent open, says they open at 10.Worst UPS store ever, hope they go out of business for there poor service!!!————Went back today 5/9/18. With a strong mole drop off all they had to do was scan it and put it on the pile. Had to wait 15 minutes for the girl to try and figure out how to print 1 page for the guy in front of me. Missed the pickup because she couldn’t say excuse me a second even though she did that to help someone else!Maybe is they didn’t hire idiots people wouldn’t be so disappointed when going there.. seriously if you can’t work a printer don’t work at a printing service store!!!
Had to drive to this location from Jackson (30 min drive one way) only yo deal with a disgruntled, condescending employee at the front desk (tall,light eyes, skullbeanie, caucasian). In the future I will ask Amazon to send me the full label and I will use the customer care UPS or Jax pack n Ship in town.
Don’t rely on posted hours or what’s on the web, we have tried 3 times now to go to this store to ship something and each time there is note on door saying closed....Very frustrating to let employees change hours whenever wind blows or something comes up completely unreliable.
I cannot end 2014 without expressing my disgust of the lack of customer courtesy, much less service at this store. I have watched the manager, Derik Patel, berate, belittle and demean people so many times when Ive been waiting in line there. I have left the line and decided to drive to Ann Arbor to do business there. So in November, I was in a rush to get a gift to my brother and gave it another try. BIG MISTAKE! Derik Patel is rude and condescending to everyone and unnecessarily abrupt. I cannot emphasize enough that you dont want to go to this UPS store. Its a shame that Chelsea has this level of NON SERVICE. R Phillips
Went to return equipment at this location for the 2nd time. Because equipment was down last time I visited this location. JAKE has a very bad attitude and smart mouth that thinks he can talk to customers any type of way he’s not customer friendly at all. I definitely will not be back to this location at all!
I have visited this store several times and every time has been a great experience. Tanner has been most helpful on more than one occasion.I have watched them help several people (while I look for emails) that didn’t understand the return process and they walked them through it and seemed happy to do so.

2022-05-11I would give this place no stars... the guy who works in the morning is rude. I had drop offs and needed to get them off my phone and he was making faces and mumbling something under his breathe. I said something like sorry I have to get this and I feel your rushing me with the way your acting. Not only did he deny it but was totally rude more and said it was in my head and all on me... excuse me? Such a punk move from a man whos a very disrespectful person. Sorry but when a customer is trying to get something and your staff is rude thats uncalled for and I wont back in there This isnt my first time experiences this at this drop off.Oh by the other comments on these reviews it seems to happen a lot and the response the store gives WOW.. So obviously nothing will changeRESPONSE TO the response:That is incorrect... I will not be responding anymore because its not worth it. How things were handled was wrong and this is an ongoing issues at this place

2022-03-20Describe my experience? Well honestly it was FAST & EASY. I had no issues and it was actually really nice that I was able to just basically drop off my amazon return and I had to do nothing. Was a great & fast experience... But mine was just a fast amazon return. Which ill need to do again this week 📦

2022-02-07Wow - I just got back on an early Monday morning, Jake helped me re-route a package Id send, accepted my wi fi modem for Xfinity, helped me send a new package and after I left my credit card in the reader, he went to the trouble of looking up my account and calling me right away to let me know it was safety stored away for me to return and pick up. He was fast, efficient and very pleasant! It was a great experience. I plan on going back often to ship my rugs, nice to know that even though they get busy, hes very patient and cordial. Wonderful fast transaction!

2021-11-15I like this location. Jake is a very nice employee who does his job well and always greets the customers with a friendly attitude. I like how he gives me a receipt for my packages that I am shipping and handles my packages with care. Very cool guy.

2021-10-04When visiting my family, we stopped by this location to drop off a package. The worker at the front was extremely rude, rolling his eyes and sighing, acting as though we were inconveniencing him by dropping off a package. I’m sorry sir, do you not work at the United PARCEL Service? Come to find out, this individual is the owner of this location.I’m shocked this business is still open at this location. I was born and raised in Chelsea and to receive this type of treatment at a local business is APPALLING. Sighing, eye rolling, and making customers feel as though they are bothering you by bringing you their business? That’s not the Chelsea way.

2021-12-15Even with Computer issues, I received fast friendly service as always. I have been using this location for years and I have never experienced any issues. The staff does an outstanding job taking care of customers and answering any questions I have had.

2021-09-08The RUDEST people work here. Walk in, employee is sighing and rolling their eyes. Very unprofessional and not helpful. Double check with USPS just down the street. UPS quoted me $11 to ship a item, took the same thing to USPS and quoted me $4. I’ve always been polite and have given this store and same few employees multiple chances, but literally every time I come in they have the worst attitudes and make me feel like I’m doing something wrong just by being there. They are not welcoming whatsoever.

2021-07-12The person working was very efficient but seemed to be very stressed and gave me a lecture in having the proper packing for an Amazon return. I am giving this guy a break on my rating because I think he is stressed but he was not very friendly or polite to me or the other customers in the store.

2021-07-26Dont believe the website for a list of services the store provides. The store clerk informed me they have not provided passport photos for at least 5 years despite it being explicit mentioned on their website.Nice to see technology being leveraged effectively in these modern times...
