I Have my own company I drop tons of pre paid packages off to ups, fedex and usps daily. I entered the store and ask the male associate a simple question where can I sit prepaid packages that I don’t need a receipt for. He stated that’s what all these people are waiting for (which I’m pretty sure they were not, they were waiting to ship packages) I simply just wanted to drop my boxes end leave. When I repeated myself he says just sit them over there on the floor rudely. To make a long story short staff is rude and I don’t appreciate being talked to rudely. I will be calling corporate.Due to me not being able to reply to your comment I will just respond here. Once again I DIDNT NEED ANY ASSISTANCE NOR DID I NEED TO WAIT IN LINE TO MAIL A PACKAGE. THAT IS THE PURPOSE OF ME PRE PAYING FOR IT ONLINE BEING THAT I AM A UPS BUSINESS CUSTOMER. I SIMPLY ASKED A QUESTION WHERE IS THE PRE PAID PACKAGE DROP.... YOU ALL HAVE ONE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE STORE HOWEVER IT SEEMS JUST TO BE FOR ENVELOPES. SORRY IF YOUR EMPLOYEES CANT MULTITASK. AS I STATED BEFORE THE EMPLOYEES AT THIS LOCATION IS RUDE AND IT HASNT BEEN THE FIRST TIME YALL HAVE BEEN RUDE. Most locations have a spot designated for pre paid drop for times when they are busy or people just need to simple drop packages. I went to the Michigan Ave location ask the same question and they simple pointed to wear to drop them.I understand you have your employees back and thanks for taking the time out to responding me just wish more of that time was put into your customer service training.I hope you all have a great day.
Have no idea why there is so many one star reviews...unless its related to Covid. Ive been using this store literally for decades, and the service has always been excellent. Packages have always been handled and sent properly, never had to wait in line very long (during the rare times there was a line at all).
Great & Super Fast Service! The store manager Chris was trying to take care of many customers all by himself with very professional manner. There were many people in the line, I thought I was going to stay there for a long time but I didnt. It was great experience. thanks.
The new girl is rude and makes mistakes. I walked in and was the only customer in the store. She wasnt doing anything but ignored me finally Chris had to help me and after she saw that he was helping me she looked at me and said Im sorry have you been helped in a condesending manner. Rude behavior does not go well for business. She wouldnt be hirable anywhere else.
Im giving it a 3 star cuz i havent been their that much so i dint fully know how things are. But based on my first experience which was yesterday, i went and my returned item was successfully sent. The guy didnt even ask for much other then the bar code. And i was glad to have my item returned cuz the ups store near my house was very rude and unhelpful.
As a business owner, I will no longer ship from this UPS location. Staff member Chris discriminates against minorities. Seeing Chris treat someone in this way, definitely tells you something about this store. I will no longer ship my packages through this store and I will spread the word.
I had a Great experience and great service at this location. It is a convenient and neat store. Quick service! Friendly and helpful staff. The UPS store offers a wide range of printing, copying services as well as Shipping and packaging. Also shredding services, passport photos, office supplies and other additional services are available at this location.
Worst UPS store ever. Chris is a nightmare. Seems like for years they don’t want to change the way they treat their customers. Chris is extremely prejudice and hostile. He belongs in WWF case not in a UPS store. I guess they are well established for 20 years and don’t care about minorities business.
I was just at the store this morning. It was my first time being there and my very first time returning something from Amazon. I had no idea what to do and Im not very good with a computer.TEACE, the owner, walked me through everything and was extremely helpful. Very patient . She seemed like a very nice person. Thank you for the FANTASTIC service and your help!
Been going here for years, always great customer service. Courtney was so helpful to me as I misunderstood the way in which to return my Amazon.. This young lady took the time to write downthe procedure , step by step. I appreciate this store because the employees are kind, helpful and efficient .
The owner was professional with me and answered all my questions. I had a sensitive business computer tower i had to ship back to the manufacturer for service and was concerned that it wasnt going to be properly padded for protection. She assured me that it will be...and it was. I asked the receiving dept of the manufacturer about the condition of the tower when it arrived they said, perfect and they also mentioned how protected it was. The manufacturer shipped back the tower with the same shipping box and padding safe and sound with what i thought was enough padding above and beyond i was expecting. Thanks so much for your help. I will definitely be back. Note to the manager/owner: sorry it took a few months for me write this, but i did tell you that if all went well i was going to let everyone know of my experience. Excellent job.Sam
The lady who was helping us was super rude. I was there to drop off couple of packages for Amazon. I have dropped off Amazon packages at different ups ups stores. And each ups store has its own rules about who should pack/tape package. This lady who was helping us was super rude about it. When I apologized that it was different for the last ups store I went she gave a rude response.
JUST LIKE REVIEWS FOR THE PAST MONTHS CONSISTENTLY STATE, CHRIS IS A RUDE AND PREJUDICE INDIVIDUAL.Doing online business I’ve spent plenty of time there and see how he deals with white customers vs. Arab and blacksSpare yourself his nasty looks, vulgar and rude attitude and go down the street to the on Michigan ave. Very nice customer service there.I have no idea how he still works there or how they still run that operation with him being there.He must be so miserable with his weight and personal life and he needs to take it out on others.
They get the job done obviously but definitely need lessons in public dealing. Especially the male worker that works here is rude. First time I went there he was weirdly condescending towards us, I didnt say anything, as in maybe he was having a tough busy day. Recently it was more of the same if not worse. Franchise owner needs to get him some public dealing classes or something.
FRAUDULENT- rude workers just like the woman claiming to be an owner.Avoid this UPS store at all costs. They took money under false pretenses from my little brother without warning him AT ALL that the package might not be delivered. AVOID THESE SCAM ARTISTS AT ALL COSTS. All they know how to say is NO REFUNDS. youve been warned.
Very good and fast Service. On site computer for printing. Recommended. Good Location. Easy access. Manager is correct, dis-satisfied customers tend to leave reviews. But my initial review was 5 star then went there and the guy questioned the number of papers I printed! So dropped to three star.
Rude staff, specifically the female manager and a younger male employee. The only person without a bad attitude there is Aaron - who is pleasant and friendly. The other two dont belong in any customer service jobs. I got a mailbox here and unfortunately pre paid for 3 months, big mistake. These people are disrespectful not only to the one off customers who are in to mail a package but also to their mailbox holders. A complete embarrassment to UPS.
I had UPS redirect a package to this location because I knew I wouldnt be home on the scheduled delivery date - the package arrived a day early, I was notified immediately and the staff was very organized and professional. The store was clean and the process was SIMPLE to say the least. Thanks guys.
Great Experience, Have been there many times, and use them often. They do many things in store, and always try to find the best option and price for shipping, and packaging. They have saved me money multiple times with their recommendations. It is a family owned shop, and from my experience they try to make every customer as happy as possible, even the hard to deal with customers (I have seen them deal with quite a few), and even do a great job trying to accomadate the non-english speaking customers which they seem to get very often. They are my place to go when I need something done. They always steer me in the right direction.
Be ready for rude, racist behaviour if you want to be there. Think more than twice before going here that the other stores in the vicinity. Unhelpful, do not know what its means by customer service. Remember you are not running a charity, minting money all America. God save America. Always a USPS lover- great service - not even a mile away.
Used my lunch time to go to this particular UPS store in order to ship a trigger assembly for a rifle that I had to return to the manufacturer. Despite UPS policy that firearm parts can be shipped, this location refused to, coming up with the excuse that, they had just received special training on the matter, 3 days prior and gun parts cant be shipped and that they are potentially hazardous. Waste of my time. The U.S. Post Office about a block away on Greenfield, shipped the trigger assembly with no problems.
The experience here was AWFUL! I was returning a package to comcast and the Agent refused to listen to the information Comcast had provided to me for the return of my package. The agent scoffed multiple times as I was speaking to comcast customer service. I video recorded the return, not the agent, and again comments and sounds were made. Yet I was only trying to protect my interests in the return of a product. As the agent finished re-packaging the equiptment, I attempted to express that I had issues with comcast previously and I wanted to be sure all matter were handled, they proceeded to speak over me. Again, not listen to the customer and continuing to state things I already had documentation for.I would rather go to downtown Detroit for package shipping. I can count on them being professional and curtious to all of their clients!
BEWARE if you are sending a pkg ensure theres a tracking #, have a mailbox, or else theyll return it to the sender without notice . No one at UPS informed me of this policy despite a lengthy call to the store to get information about accepting pkgs prior to sending the pkg.UPS person who had the pleasure to deliver the disappointing news was kind though.First time and last time at DEARBORN UPS - WASTE OF TIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Back to good reliable ROYAL OAK UPS where I never had any issues.
The mist disgusting customer service ever the guy with the red face is theee rudest person i have ever encountered he talked to me as if i was a child and incompetent then would not help me with my send off of products VERY DISAPPOINTED IN THIS STORE IM DEFINITELY CALLING COORPORATE
They are suppose to close at 2 pm on saturdays when you check their website, but when I got there with a few other people at 12:40 they were closed! Wasted my time and a few other customers time. Please update your time when you are open and closed it would save people wasted time.
I stopped in this after at about 05:00 PM and spoke with Chris he was behind the service counter and inquired about opening a new mail box for my personal use and he requested two forms of Ids which I had my driver licenses and went to the car to get my passport, when returning I asked him if the box will have a street address on it, he replied if you want a P.O.Box go to the post office!! I didnt say anything but found his tone to be offense, but when I handed him my driver license he looked at it and throw it on the counter when I confronted him he denied it, I dont know if thats acceptable behavior under the UPS store management but I find it very offensive and I rather take my business else where, where a customer is treated with respect.
Went there today to buy a box, younger gentleman was very helpful, I asked another employee(older) woman if she can tape my box, but I did say I’m shipping at usps because it’s paid postage she kept talking about how I just want to use there tape but usps can use there tape.... rude unprofessional... like hello lady I just bought a box if you don’t want to tape it just say sorry I can’t tape it but usps should be able to since you’re shipping with them... who ever owns this location really needs to address manortism to this certain employee
As usual and as some stated ,the big fat guy with the red face is very rude person,i was carrying two light boxes which i had to lay down on the scale,instead of asking me politely to remove one of them,he threw the box on my hand while i was trying to find the code from amazon for him to scan,i guess i have to send my husband next time to deal with him.

2022-01-07I love this UPS store.I realize that its been closing at 4p because of the lack of evening help. However the man and woman who are there are exceptional! They are pleasant, considerate, helpful, expedient and efficient. They make the UPS store such a hassle free experience. I appreciate them. They deserve this very heartfelt thank you! I was last there on January 6, 2022. Thank you so much!

2022-04-06If you have enough time to tell me how you are short staffed you are and have been with a 2 person staff that should be four people, you have enough time to facilitate my small ask/request over the phone. literally wouldve taken all of 30 seconds. Also, if you answer the phone and someone walks in afterwards either politely ask me to hold OR I should take precedence as I was 1st in line. We get times are a bit different but that doesnt mean service should fall by the wayside as well.

2022-01-16This is usually my go to UPS store however every time I go the guy that works is insanely rude to the customers. I believe his name is Chris. Super rude employee and I usually just let it go because we all have bad days but this keeps happening. I ready many reviews about him specifically and nothing seems to be changing.

2021-01-12The staff does a good job when you obtain their service, however they are definitely difficult to deal with. As a business customer, I have decided to no longer use that location because I have enough challenges in my day already, and quite honestly, standing waiting in line outside in the cold, and then being chased in and out if the postal carrier walks in is unprofessional. And I disagree with some posters who assert the staff is discriminating based on race or other criteria.

2021-01-16Great store Ive been using them for years the staff is very attentive to my shipping needs. Plus I love the fact that the information of who I constantly send packages to is stored in their system. And even during the Covid-19 delivery was accurate. I would definitely give them more stars.
