I live in Canada and have a mailbox with this store and during covid I had many packages shipped to there store . Not one of my packages went missing or was damaged and they shipped them to Canada for me due to the boarder being closed They are very professional ! And I highly recommend if your a boarder city resident in signing up for one of their mailboxes I’ve had one for 2 years and have never had any problems !
The worst customer experience. Ive always gone in ready patient and always been treated with disrespect and disregard. The constant interrupting and instant argument from employees and management is a regular thing here from reading other reviews.They also open late regularly. And there is never anyone there to answer the phone. Make the extra drive to go elsewhere.
Great location (especially from Windsor), helpful staff. I have used them for the last 6 years (probably 100 shipments by now) to ship my US bought items and never had any issues. They were especially helpful during Covid times to have my items shipped to Canada. Thanks UPS Store, thanks Bodrul, Ill continue recommending you guys!
I usually like this place however they did not open on time today. I arrived at 10:02 am (on Monday) and the store was not open. The store clerk walked up from the sidewalk to unlock the store at 10:07. There was a line of about eight people outside and some left before the store opened. It was hot standing on the sidewalk. The customers were exchanging tips on other places to go and also saying why don’t the employees start working before the store opens. People are busy and they don’t want to wait around.
Drove from Macomb County, waited 20 minutes which wasn’t a problem until female store clerk walked away to help someone else without saying anything like “ Give me one moment or I will be Right back” prior to assisting the other rep for a moment. I requested a small mailbox and was told I would have to come back when owner was available to provide me a key. When asked when will I be able to pick up my key, there was no reasonable response time to pick up key because female store clerk stated owner was auditing other stores, so they didn’t know when he was going to be in the store. Rep also spoke in a condescending tone, asking if that was going to be a problem and walked away without giving me my ID and paperwork back.Things happen and people are busy, but customer service should never be lost.
Went in with a pre paid label for a package, generally a very simple thing to do. The guy did not seem very enthused to be working and was speaking mostly in another language with what appeared to be his relative. I stated I needed help taping the label to the box as I have no tape (this is something I’ve asked many shipping stores before shipping and they always do so kindly) well today I just received the same box I sent out because he failed to tape my label on the box. Terrible terrible terrible
I dropped my mom medicine off on May 17th for her to get it on the 24th... To my surprise a month later she still hasnt got her medicine her insulin her blood pressure pills Ive called up to this place four or five times and all they keep telling me that its on the way they cant find it they dont know where its at its up and shipping I hate this business they are sloppy they are inconsiderate they are irresponsible
I have always gotten great service from the staff of this UPS Store.I apologize for my previous review. Details below:I had a DHL package to be delivered there hold for pick up.Courier showed up during normal business hours,Monday, December 31st, 2019 at 3 pm and theywere CLOSED but, the next day, I found out thatThe UPS Store had a power outage that wascompletely out of their control.I needed to pick this item up on either Mondayevening or Tuesday morning, as I had to catch a trainat 12:00 noon on Tuesday and the DHL package did notarrive at UPS until 11:30 am but that is not the fault ofanyone at UPS. I will pick up the package when I return from my trip.
5 stars! Because of their employee Briana. Due to her great customer service I opened up a mailbox and even paid up for the year. Briana was very patient and answered all of my many questions. I will be referring many others to this Walker Street UPS location because of her!
Wow! Everyone was extremely personable and helpful - in and out in less than five minutes and the employees gave us their full attention! My boyfriend and I are floored - we have never had such a pleasurable experience at a shipping/packaging store before. We will be coming here again!
I was a long time customer. The store was very good before but recently they misplaced my big ticket item. One of their employees received and signed for it but they could not find it when I picked it up. They keep delay and delay and finally said they lost it but I asked them to pay for it and they denied not paying. Then next a couple week, I went to pick up other item and they said it was picked up two days ago. I asked to see the signature on the slip. It was someone else signature!!! This place is not the same as before. Be careful with a big ticket items, they will not cover if it was lost.
Same exact situation as written in Dawson Maucks review. The guy whos helping me keeps talking to some other guy (in another language), while Im waiting for a lousy simple receipt (pre-paid labeld scan/print... 10 second tops). Same dude... has to be. Cant believe somebody has the same exact review. Then again, maybe I can believe it. The other people that work there seem to be pretty good, though. I, invariably, always get this waste of space... which makes me dread having to go there. I think he actually gets off on that. ####in blockhead.
So because of the incompetence of the employees at this location I missed out on owning a piece of Red Wings history. The employees there did little to nothing to help me and didnt seem to care one bit. They quoted me my shipping cost and then upon arranging the delivery jacked up the cost by almost 50% even though I was informed by other sources that my original quote was accurate.
Have been using these guys since 2010 when they were based on Jefferson. Ive had tvs refrigerators elliptical and much much more delivered here and never a problem.They even stayed open a bit later for me as I was stuck crossing the border into the US so I called them and asked them to hang around.Great bunch of people save so much money being able to ship things here instead of Canada.Thank you all
I used to use UPS store on West coast for many years. Recently moved to Windsor and as Amazon and eBay shopper had to find US address. Great location, easy parking right next to entrance door, great staff.The only thing is bothering me is restriction how many packages I can receive a month. I signed for 6 month and will see if 15 packages per month will be enough for me.

2022-06-14Consistently understaffed, dirty lobby… seems more like a scooby doo movie set of a UPS store than an actual UPS store.The one employee always working is helpful. It just seems like the business as a whole is ran by the owners in the most ‘bare minimum’ way possible.

2022-06-29UPS Walker Store in Detroit is the best. Supplies are available, plenty, whenever needed. In fact, I was searching for a 24x24x24 box and bought one from the Walker Store. The folks there are knowledgeable and helpful. Team UPS Walker Store Thank You!

2021-03-19Ive been using this UPS store for several years. In the past year, theyve gone above and beyond to get me some items I was not able to retrieve because of the border closure. They very kindly shipped them directly to me. The shipping was extremely fast. They were kind on the phone and very helpful.

2021-06-07Let’s face it, if you’re a customer of this location the transition of ownership has been challenging. Let’s say hooray there is a new employee there who exemplifies customer service!!!! FINALLY Thank you Wayne. I witnessed true grace under pressure today. I watched him work alone, handle multiple customers and he never lost his patience.

2021-04-07This business has disappointed me consistently over the past year. I am a customer renting a mail box and residing abroad.I call, they tell me they are too busy and call back. I call back at their suggested times and there is no answer and their mailbox is full. I call back and mention how hard it is to work with a company that asks me to call back...then to be told that this is against store policy... then to ask to pay to have my mail mailed to me (a simple normal service) and Im again asked to call back.If this is a business, at this point Id say their #1 service is gas lighting.

2021-01-18Very efficient and professional staffs. I had a difficult printing service that I could not get done in two other UPS Stores but this store was able to print it as I wanted. Nurul was helpful. The parking is right by the door and inside is clean and organized.

2019-03-11Visit there today at 9.30am. they supposed to open at 9 am. But still they are closed. And no phone is answering. What a poor punctuality. Total waste of time to drive up here.

2020-10-17When calling to track a package that was not delivered with reasoning The receiver was not available for delivery; during which time I was available. I spoke with the manager of this store which was incredible rude. He interrupted me continuously and was doing everything in his power not help with the issue, but instead, restating that it wasnt his stores problem. After bickering with him for 3 minutes. I finally got him to give me a customer support number. Absolutely unacceptable behavior from a manager. The number he gave me was a fake number.

2021-02-01There has been significant improvement at this location since the summer. The team is now professional and friendly; they recognize me when I walk in with a mask on and know my box number! I havent had a package lost since this team has been on-site, and that use to be a thing. Thank you for the change; Ill keep my mailbox now! ~Nikki : ^)
