Excellent customer service by the friendly and professional staff. They print UPS labels at no cost. I would highly recommend this store for other services such as notary, passport pictures, fax,etc. Best of all; you just walk in for all services. This is the only location that is open on Sundays too:)
Brought large automotive part in to check pricing before sending off to Tennessee. I knew what it weighs and it’s dimensions. Person was 3lbs over and 3 inches x 2 inches more than actual. Didn’t want it boxed. He said you have to box it. Priced piece at $154 to Tennessee. Left and went to Northville UPS. No box necessary with ttl price to ship at $54.48. Avoid this UPS if you don’t want to overpay.
The main reason I am giving this store a 1 star, is not because of its presentation, cleanness or customer service... Its because of their print and computer use pricing, I needed the label to be print in store, and I regularly do this and in various locations as well, it normally doesnt cost more than $1.50 to print a paper. This place is charging $3.43 for a single piece of paper! He said its because they charge a base fee of $3.00 for 1 to 10 mins of computer use and $0.20 for each paper I print, but I didnt use the computer I simply sent a label to their store email for him to print from his computer at the front counter, he said its the same thing whether its his computer or their other computer which is meant for customers... So he is charging me the cost of using the computer when I never did use it... I printed at various locations and have never seen a store that rips people off like this one does.
Went to this UPS Store today, the girl working was particularly not helpful. I needed a label printed for an Amazon return and I had the scan barcode on my phone for it. She said I had to use their computer to pay to print it. I tried that but couldnt access my amazon account on it because it was a new device and needed verify it for security reasons. I share the account with my spouse and was going to his email. The worker didnt offer to have me email it to her or just scan it so she can print, I would have paid for the paper no problem. I even asked if she can scan it and print but she wouldnt.I have done returns at other UPS stores and they just let you email it to them for them to print or just scan it for you to print. So I wasnt able to get return done and wasted my lunch break traveling here for nothing.
Absolutely awful experience and customer service at this location. A month ago, I paid to ship a box of wine glasses that were all boxed up in their original packaging. A week later, I received a call saying that the box had been returned to the store because ‘it had been damaged.’ When we went to pick up the box, absolutely nothing inside was damaged at all. I called to request a refund as the purpose for shipping them was no longer valid, but I was told that no refund would be given because the box ‘had been taped incorrectly.’ I kindly reminded them that THEY were the ones who taped the entire box when I brought it into the store. They said they would contact UPS about getting a refund and call me back. After waiting over a week with no word, I called again and was told that no refund would be given. Their excuse this time: They had not packed the box. Ridiculous. (Who takes all of their loose stuff to the UPS store and has them pack it???).Avoid this place at all costs unless you like paying for services that you never receive. I do not, and will be reporting the store and the particular employee that I dealt with to whatever agency or person manages them.UPDATE: The management of the store reached out to me and rectified the situation. They were attentive and understanding, and promised to make operational changes to make sure that my situation does not repeat itself for other customers. Thank you Patel.
This store has the absolute worst customer service. After giving them several tries I now frequent a different store even though this one is in walking distance to me. The clerks are rude, and every single time Ive sent something to print Im told we dont have it, but when sent to a more customer focused store, Ive never had a problem. Even small things like Amazon returns are turned into an ordeal here. The store is in serious need of new management and customer service training!!
I previously had a one star review of this location but have had good visits lately. Staff members have been nice and helpful and Ive been in and out quick. UPS has since updated their app and I have not had issues since. Keep in mind that at this location, you will have to pay a fee to use the onsite computer and print any existing labels you may be using to ship your package. Bring an extra $5 to be safe but this is only necessary if you have a pre-existing label that has not be printed prior to your visit.
Since it’s the holiday season, I’ve been in this UPS location quite a few times sending packages. Not a remarkable task, but what is remarkable is the customer service and all around pleasantness of the employees! Every time I come in, I’m greeted with a smile and quick service. The last few times I’ve been in, I was helped by Kiara and she was so memorably sweet and kind. It honestly felt like she was happy to help me. A great attitude really makes a difference in customer service and I hope she’s recognized for this by her peers and supervisors! She made a great impression on me, that’s for sure! Highly recommend this location. Happy holidays to the staff, and especially Kiara! :)
UPS shipped an order to my place of business after stores hours (so obviously no one was there). After the first attempt they gave me a final notice and shipped by order back to sender. It would have been nice to have a chance to pick it up myself from the pick up destination.
I have to give 1 star where deserved. I needed to ship an 18 ounce youth baseball bat. 189 overnight to Cali. No way. I get needing to make money but big time rip off. I own my own business and shipped it through my own account for 66.00 overnight. I made the 20 minute drive into work just because. I would have paid up to 75 or 80 but not near 200.
Like another review stated, their $3 to touch the computer to print 22 cents a sheet for a label they would just print off for free.. For me it was an amazon return and the previous return had a bar code to scan from my phone. this return did not have a bar code, my home printer is not working, so i figured, hey same thing they could scan the printer label on my phone instead and just print it. wrong. $50 cents to use the computer I would have accepted. heck even 25 cents for the sheet. but this was too much to swallow.
While moving my mother into an ALF i needed shipping several times throughout the year. A couple of times I brought in items without boxes or packaging. This UPS office was awesome! Everything was shipped timely, well wrapped and reasonably priced. Staff is very accomodating. Highly recommend them.
I had made three Easter Baskets packed with food which needed to be recieved the next day. Paid for that. The UPS store manager Shubham told me if any problems to contact him. One was delivered on the Good Friday and two I was told would not get any to their destinations , due to unfortunate circumstances, until Monday!! NOOOOOO... all the food would spoil!! I called the stores manager and he relentlessly worked with UPS delivery in Atlanta and Maryland to have the packages delivered on the Saturday! Only one day late, and all the food was saved!He was GREAT! He saved Easter Brunch Traditions for two groups of family! I WAS SO IMPRESSED AND SO VERY GRATEFUL!!! It is rare these days to see someone go so far out of their way to help!!He needs to be promoted so he can teach others what customer service is all about!!THANK YOU VERY MUCH SHUBHAM!!! This is a greatly run store!!
Staff was discourteous and dishonest. Insisted a package would not arrive in a reasonable timeframe unless we paid and extra $350 for a 25lb package for standard ground shipping. Package arrived on time without paying this ridiculous fee, even after staff said it wouldnt. Offered another shopper priority shipping for a single envelope at $125. Reeks of fraud and price gouging, buyer beware.
I visited this store yesterday around 10 am. I came in to print four images from my iPad. The employee (Wasn’t wearing a name tag or bothered to introduce himself) informed me they don’t have WiFi. I airdropped the images to my iPhone to email them from that device. It dawned on me, if they don’t have WiFi how can they receive an email? I didn’t reflect on it but in hindsight I think it was his way of trying not to be bothered with work. While I waited for the email to be received I watched him toss packages without care. The email is received and I requested it to be on glossy card stock paper. He informed me they had none, or any glossy paper. Again, I believe he just wanted not to be bothered with work hoping I’d just decide to go elsewhere. I settled wth ordinary printer paper. We both looked at the preview on the computer as he said ‘’it’s going to be small.’’ It looked fine to me so I told him so. It printed out half the size the preview shown. I said it needs to be enlarged and he answered ‘’It can’t be printed any bigger.’’ If the image is printed on standard printing paper and only covered 1/4 of the surface, doesn’t make sense to me it can’t simply be enlarged. He walked to the counter to tend to another costumer while a different costumer came to help me. He was much more helpful than the employee. Regardless of his help I was unsatisfied with the results. I thanked the helpful costumer and placed the three sheets of paper in the trash and walked out. The employee came outside yelling I must pay him. I told him I am dissatisfied with the prints and left them in the trash. ‘’Doesn’t matter, I printed them you must pay’’ he said. I’ve got prints made from many businesses and none of them ever charged me for prints that didn’t turn out to my satisfaction. In fact, they always kept making changes until it met the requirements, but I guess simply enlarging the image is too much to ask for when the employee is under qualified and not interested in helping a costumer. I went back inside and paid. After all, I wasted 45 minutes and spent 5 dollars to throw away three sheets of paper. I then went to the ups store on 5 mile and Newburgh. I was in and out in 10 minutes. I’ve been to this location before and they have always been terrific. I made the mistake of wanting to save a few miles and thought all ups stores were the same, I was certainly wrong. I encourage anyone to drive the extra three miles and do business with that location.
Customer service not very helpful. Felt rushed in an empty store by CHS: Shubham. **update** so after receiving a phone call letting me know how I wasnt overcharged Ill add another star for clearing things up, but I will not be shopping at this location in the future and will be considering other shipping phranchises for better price comparison before choosing another location.
Manager on duty was very rude and disrespectful asked for his name he said Sam I’ve drop off expensive packages with no receipt given to me. I asked why, he told me I can grab my packages and go somewhere else. This guy does need to be in management, nor allowed to be interacting with customers.
I take packages to this location quite frequently. The service is consistently efficient and there has never been a mistake made with the mailing. Employees are friendly and have expertise in best way to do the job. I highly recommend and Im glad to have this efficient and helpful service so close to my home.
This was horrible service, well really no service at all. Used them around 3:00 on Wednesday, November 18. I was sending four 12 x 22 inch docs that I indicated I didnt want bent, along with 2 Thin 8 1/2 by 11 booklets, and a small light 2x2x3 box. Young woman was at her very best unpleasant. No greeting at all much less with a smile. She offered no solutions, no service at all. Said it would cost $12.50 than with her service and supplies it went to $23. I can only imagine how careful she was with my package based on her demeanor toward me. Never go there again and would not recommend to a friend, or worst enemy for that matter.
Ki’Ana at the front desk is rude. Worst experience at this location. Im sending supplies to my mother and this girl cannot get the address right as Im SPELLING it to her. Finally get her on the phone, she puts me hold, hangs up after 10 min and the updated emails STILL have wrong address. TRASH.
What a surprise when I received an envelope with corrected tracking information. In error I had chosen the wrong return label and the packages would have been sent directly back to me. The staff was on the ball. They checked for the correct info and amended the shipping info. Then they sent me a copy of the corrected info. Kudos to them!!!
I paid almost $40 to have an important check over-nighted and was given a guaranteed delivery time of 10:30am the next day. The package arrived 2 days later and subsequently cost me over $300 for being late. I went in to ask for a discount or refund and was told that I would get a call in a few days. When they did call me, I was informed that I would not recieve any type of refund or discount because the package was delayed due to supposed bad weather. If its not actually guaranteed then dont make that claim. I will stick with Fed Ex from not on.
My Daughter was just in your so called store. Yessss the girl working the counter told my Daughter to get lost and use the computer. Witch ofcourse I tried sending my info it didnt work out!!! Yess im going to corporate. Ill see u soon girl. Look at the camera shes the one who didnt HELP ME

2022-02-14Great customer service!!! They have notary services. I was able to use computer service for $3 and print documents for 29 cents per copy. This is so convenient. I had to also ship my documents overseas, the staff suggested that they scanning the documents for my records. This is going extra mile to provide exceptional customer service.I will definitely be back to conduct my business here.

2022-02-14I have been using this UPS store for 2 years and every time I walk in Im greeted with a smile. The owner and employees are equally friendly and respectful. I have observed this treatment to all customers. When shipping a package they always ask when you need to get it to the destination to make sure you dont overpay.I recommend this store to everyone I know.

2022-02-14I have been renting a mail box here since 2007 for my business, and the store could not be any more helpful. The address is the REAL STREET ADDRESS not a P.O.Box address. The service cost is affordable and reasonable. With the mailbox services all my mail and packages are secure. The staff is very attentive and always go out of there way to take care of me and my family:) OPEN ON SUNDAYS TOO!!

2022-02-13Every time I visit the this store I find myself consistently impressed with the level of customer service from the staff. While in line today I saw one of the staff helping a woman carry packages from her car into the store and I so appreciate seeing this kind of above-and-beyond service. Its quite a thing when the level of customer service provided makes errand running such a pleasant experience

2022-02-14I do a lot of Amazon shopping and as we all know, therefore I would also do a lot Amazon returns; the staff makes the process painless. They are very patient and professional. On my recent visit, I noticed new faces, I learned that this store is under new management. They will also be open on Sundays from 12-5. Which makes Amazon returns even eaasier. I Wouldnt go to any other place:)
