I had Johnny & Patrick take care of me today, treated me like family. I highly recommend you set foot in Todd Wenzel. Other sales people outside of my sale were talking good about others and that made me feel good about my purchase. Another woman purchased a similar vehicle and was also happy.
Briana at the used auto office was absolutely amazing! She worked with us on a trade in value we could all agree on! Stephan in finance made our purchase so seamless, he really made sure we knew exactly what we were getting with our purchase! Over all best car buying experience yet! Thank you so much Briana and Stephan!!
My initial perception of this location was terrible customer service. They aren’t welcoming to guest. Absolutely, no one greeted me at first! A gentleman walked passed quite a few others. May I add who were just sitting around. To come greet me. He sprang into action. He was SUPERB in the handling of my vehicle. I don’t remember his name but, I do remember he had a lot of tattoos. You rock! It was solely you. Who changed my whole perception to this location.
Thank you to Fawzi (and everyone) at Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Westland for going above and beyond! Top tier customer service, Fawzi made everything quick and easy, and I loved everyone who helped. 10/10 would recommend to everyone! You have made a new loyalty customer out of me! Thank you! I love my brand new Buick Envision.
My sister bought a car from here and they completely took advantage of her. They told her she had 30 days to return the car for whatever reason and we tried to bring it back and they completely lied to us and told us we had to call the bank she financed the vehicle through. We called the bank and they told us “they always do this to us but you have to take the car to the dealership, they are responsible taking it back and following through with their guarantee.” We called the dealership and they told us they would call us back and never did. Mind you my sister is mentally ill! It is illegal to sell a car to a person legally deemed mentally ill! She should have never been given that car! She can barely afford to pay her bills and collects social security for her illness! The payment they set her up with was $633.00 a month! Do not shop her for your next car! They rip you off and don’t care about the costumer. Terrible business.
I brought my Buick Enclave in for an oil change. They didnt bother to drain the old oil but simply added 6 more quarts of new oil. I notified them via email but nothing was ever done to compensate me. I ended up changing the oil myself. I can tell you for certain that 12 quarts of oil came out of that engine. It was a good thing I caught it in time before it damaged my engine. Needless to say I never received a satisfaction survey from GM like I usually get. Never again Todd.Vehicle sold! No longer owned.
I originally reviewed you much higher, I do believe your service department is good and should have a better rating than what my two stars are. My problem is is when I bought this high-dollar Denali, you promised me the world with all these extra little perks and services. Well youve taken them all awayAnd blamed it all on covid just like everybody else does. If youre going to promise people things to make sales and then take them away you need to compensate those people
The communication with the advisor was poor. The Service Manager never responded/returned my phone call. Also after submitting a complaint online I received no follow up from Service Director. To top it all off when my vehicle was finally properly fixed after empty promises on commitments my vehicle was returned to me with almost 1,000 miles more than what was on the odometer when I left it in care of the dealership. The paperwork said it had the same number of miles in and out. But that can’t be true as I saw who I was told was the tech taking a test drive, on the road with my vehicle. I called immediately and was told it was the tech test driving it. This is my second unpleasant experience with that DealerShip. I will not be returning.
I made an appointment for an oil change/tire rotation. They got me right in at my appointment time. Sean said it’ll be 1-1.5 hours and I was prepared to wait. Sean called me out of the waiting room 35 minutes later! For $69 tho I would expect a car wash like most dealerships offer. That’s my only negative.
Hancess is one of THE best sales associates Ive ever experienced. She followed my lead not to pushy or to hands off. Once I got my 2020 Acadia she checked up to make sure everything was good and made sue I feel comfortable contacting her if I have any concerns. I trust her and would trust her with my familys car purchases Aldo. Thanks Hancess you are AMAZING!!!
Terrible, terrible service. My car has been in the shop for 4 months and all of the parts have been in for the past two months. They stopped answering the phone when I was calling to check on the status so I had to drive up there to get answers. I was told that whoever I spoke with last had lied to me about it going to paint in the next week because in reality, there was minimal work done on it at all. I was then told it would be another 2 weeks. Another two weeks went by with no progress and was then told it would be another 3 weeks. They keep giving me and my insurance company the run around and I do not understand why it is taking so long to fix. Its as if they are not working on it at all. Now as you can see below, one of the owners/ managers Jordan reached out and apologized for all this and said to give him a call. It has been a week of calling snd voice mails and he has not returned a single call.
I was extremely impressed with the new car purchase experience at Todd Wenzel. I had called multiple dealerships across the area with either limited stock, or inability to give out the door pricing.I managed to get in contact with Hancess who truly impressed me from the get go with her knowledge and poise. She efficiently guided me through the options on the lot and provided transparent pricing and policy, all while engaging with me in a friendly, no-pressure manner. Every little question I asked over the phone and later over text was answered promptly. It was Hancesss demeanor that made me pass up closer dealerships and drive over an hour to Todd Wenzel the same day to discuss further. Once a price was agreed upon, she made sure that all the paperwork was completed and ready for a seamless delivery the next day. From start to finish, Hancess has gone above and beyond to ensure a truly satisfactory customer experience.A special recognition also to Patrick who went the extra mile to research a specific warranty option that the dealership doesnt normally offer. This commitment to putting all options on the table for the customer to make an informed decision definitely leaves a lasting impression.Todd Wenzel will definitely be my first visit for any future vehicle needs!
This is the worst dealership that we have ever dealt with.Needed service on my Acadia and had to wait over a month for an appointment. On appointment day they said that I didnt have an appointment, they didnt have a loaner car for me to get to and from work. Then I didnt receive a call to tell me that my car was ready for pick-up.The service rep ( Amanda Johnson) was the worst rep that I have ever had to deal with.they do not communicate at all.
Came in for Service on a tire, nail in tire. I pay for the tire package for free repairs. I was told by the person at the desk that I needed to tell her which package I have since there are multiples and she cannot look this up. I told her I had no idea so she suggested I call the dealership in which I leased the car. I went through the hassle of doing this just to find out it was the package the GM sells. After about 45 mins they fixed the tire. Would have been much easier to pay to $10 at my local tire store.
It took 16 days to replace 2 tires and 2 sensors. Car was returned with greasy hand prints over the entire outside body of car and inside door frames. Car was only a month old.... it was pristine when I brought it in to this dealer. I was beyond disappointed in the condition in which it was returned to me
My experience at the service center was terrible. I just recently bought my truck from Todd wenzel in January. I came in to get the first oil change and they stripped out the oil pan where the plug goes in. No big deal at the time. Well things started to get worse. I was told they would have my vehicle for a week. The week comes n goes and no phone call to update. Had to call Jacob 3 times. Left two messages. Was unable to reach him till I called the general service number. Once I got ahold of him he told me that the part had just come In and the truck wouldnt be ready till Tuesday. Fustrating but ok. Tuesday comes. Same deal no phone call. Had to track him down again. Now Im told it wont be done till Thursday. Thursday comes. No phone call. Find out Jake isnt even working. Spoke with Jordan the service manager. He tells me it wont be ready till the next day and that they had just got the part that day. Friday comes and I finally get the phone call at 3pm that the truck will be ready at 5pm. Once I get there I was rushed out. No apologies for any of the inconvenience. Saturday comes and after going to the store and coming back home I noticed at large puddle of oil under my truck. Monday morning I go in to talk to Jake again. When I tell him whats wrong and why Im upset he tried to play it off as something new was wrong with my truck. He takes my truck and I went to speak either Greg Dawkins who I bought the truck from. He was the only person who seemed upset and generally cared about why I was upset. I received a call later that day that the truck was fixed and that the mechanic had forgotten to put a gasket on which is why it was leaking. Picked the truck up and once again was rushed out without any apologies or compensation for my time and aggravation. Overall it was a terrible experience and I honestly dont know if Ill be returning for any of my future needs.
I called in to see if I could get my key made and the receptionist cut me off, told me the service area wasn’t open til Monday and said ok bye bye. Rude. I will never be going here. That one interaction left a very bad taste in my mouth. She couldn’t even transfer me to the VM for service to call back on Monday. I just stammered uh ok. I’m looking to replace my husbands car with a Buick like mine and this showed me how they take care of people.
I have stopped into Todd Wenzel Buick GMC two separate times, and both times the sales representatives were very professional, easygoing yet efficient, and knowledgeable. I truly felt like they were helping me instead of deceiving me or pushing me into an option I didnt want (like other dealerships often do). Even though I have not yet purchased a vehicle from Todd Wenzels dealership, the service that Greg Dawkins and Cody provided will have me going right back to them for my next vehicle.
The salesman pushes & didnt thoroughly explain, didnt know my true trade-in value until the finance person showed me. The week before, the salesman said the car would take a month, so I put in $1600 worth of work & wasnt compensated for it when I was told I would be. The finance person did not give me an option to choose my warrant|ies, act like it was part of the financing. Because of all this, I had buyers remorse. I decided to just chalk it up.
My husband and I purchased two used vehicles from this dealership last week. We were only there for one but inquired about another. I had to wait because they had to send a driver to get the one I wanted. When I went into look at it I actually had talked myself out of buying it. But felt I at least owed them looking at it since they had to go get it. once I saw it I feel in love. Ultimately and unfortunately, there was a issue with it and I brought it to there attention. They went right to work to make it right. I am very happy with the service I received and the vehicles we purchased. I did end up having to purchase a third vehicle (exchange) for a slightly higher payment but so far I am extremely satisfied. Go see Jared. He’s a very patient salesperson! And has a wonderful support staff with his managers who had to complete our deal.
Sales agent Ali was excellent salesman. He had patience and answered as questions he could. My wait was extra long for the manager. Ali kept checking in with me consoling even gave me slices of pizza 🍕 and offered coffee. I would definitely recommend Todd Wenzel Buick dealership to family and friends.
I drove 3 hours to buy a pickup from these guys today, and the only thing I’m happier with than the truck and the deal we made, is how we were treated in this establishment. I had my wife and twin 3 year olds in here with me, the twins were set up in a corner office with their own paperwork to sign and the latest spongebob episode. If you’re reading this and wondering if these are good people, if you’re wondering why you should drive past 20 dealerships to get to this one, I’ll gladly be your reason, Mr.Patrick (Finance Manager) and Mr.Jared (Sales) will be my first choice when I buy another truck. Hands down the best service, the most knowledgeable, and the most streamlined and explained process I’ve ever been a part of inside of a dealership. They gave me honest answers, and honest input, that’s more than i could ask for in a purchase like the one I made today. Thank you guys, this truck is a perfect fit for us, and I don’t believe anyone could or would have made me the deal you guys did there today!
Hello. I just purchased a 2022 GMC Terrain last week from Ali Javed! I love my vehicle. I started my search in summer and my past lease ended this month. There was a vehicle shortage and I was very frustrated at first, but Ali really took care of me. He helped me find my vehicle and gave me updates along the way while my vehicle was in transit. He was very helpful and went above and beyond to help me find my vehicle. He was very patient and honest with me. I will refer my friends and family to him. Thanks again Ali-I really appreciate all your help!
I don’t leave reviews often, but these guys are excellent.I dealt with Greg (salesman) and Patrick (sales manager) and both were excellent. They are super up front and don’t just tell you what you want to hear. Thanks to them, I got my 2016 GMC Sierra just a couple days ago. Thanks guys!
I in less than one year have purchased 2 brand new trucks about $160k both have mechanical issues and need repair. They told me they have no loaners and could be up to 8 weeks to repair one of them. the other they dont know when they can get to it. they say they have no service personnel due to covid but yet I went there and looks like a full house to me. The salesperson told me to find another dealership. So if I were to purchase another vehicle it would never be from them
Made a appointment to take my car in for a five star inspection- meaning a inspection of all the fluids and tire are inspected as well. The serviceI had done included tire rotation, but the tire rotation was not done. The technician said the tire rotation was done but was not. I was not a happy customer. The dealership is Todd Wensil. I will not be going back their again. I would not trust the service department. I hate a liar 🤥.
Johnny Johnson was fantastic and so helpful . Everyone from Justin the sales manager to Lydia and Patrick in finance helped get me the truck of my dreams and make it in my price range . This dealership is the best for sales and service will recommend to all my family and friends. Thank you to everyone who helped me at Todd Wenzel.
Everything was really fine thank you the only recommendation I can leave is when a replace a part that’s whereable part at least show the customer the old part for example old brake shoes are break this.I had my air cabin filter replace perfect no problem did a great job I didn’t even get to see the old one to see if it was dirty or not now I know it was an up and I know I wanted it done but at least show the customer the old product especially if it’s a item that would be my only recommendation
I am leasing my 5th vehicle from Randy Cecil at Todd Wenzel Westland. That alone should speak volumes to the level of professionalism of Randy and his team!Randy always treats you like family and makes sure I get exactly what I want at the best price.Thank you Randy and team!
Every time I come to the dealership I feel like I get the VIP treatment. The customer service is always friendly and courteous. The service fast and efficient. I would highly recommend this dealership to all my friends and family members for new vehicles, for general service and unfortunately for collision as well. LOL. They do an awesome and amazing job in all those areas. Thanks Todd Wenzel and your amazing crew!
Salesman (Jared) was great. Found me exactly what I was looking for and kept me in budget, which was the greatest. The finance gentleman seemed to take forever. Our appointment was at 11:00AM and we weren’t seen until 12:15, which was very frustrating. He said it was busy but there were literally only 2 other customers in the entire showroom. Car is great- with the exception of I got it home and realized there was a huge dent in it, so I’ll be heading back to the dealership tomorrow.
This place is dishonest and can not be Trusted,Shawn in service is a crook and will pad your bill for service you DoNot need. We also were.quoted $209 a tire over the phone for a set of four tires, When we got there Shawn had written them up for $279 a tire, plus addition Labor, I asked hey Shawn what gives his response was the Guys in the back have to eat to! The Most Unprofessional service writer i have ever seen and i have been in buisness 25 years. DO NOT GO HERESPEND YOUR MONEY SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT IS HONEST.BUILDING FULL OF CROOKS ITS SAD!.
I came in for an oil change. It was noticed that I could use new tires. I was quoted a price that was truly too good to be true. I expressed that sentiment, but was assured that it was a real price. I told them that I had an appointment to have tires installed the next day at a competitor ( already paid for tires) I was told that if I could cancel that, the tires could go on that day. I cancelled with competitor, and was then told that a mistake had been made and the deal could not happen. Was told they could match the other price I had, but with different tires, and not that day. Called back next business day and price went up $60. Said they forgot about labor in the previous quote. What a mess. They did reset my oil life indicator which they forgot to do at time of service.
Updates review :The first time I went there my numbers were ran I knew the situation I was in and I knew how hard it would be to get something that I wanted that was feasible and within my price range and the first set of numbers ran back to me was exactly that not something that was in my budget or price range, but Britney reached out to me a week later and promised me she can have someone run new numbers and they would do everything they can to assist me a the next day I received a call from Patrick who was able to look further run more numbers for me and what he came up with was something that was definitely in the budget that I was looking for so I went back to the shop spoke back with Johnny did my test drive submitted everything from my trade in and was able to walk away with my 2019 Buick encore Im so happy it drives so beautifully payments were what I was in the budget for they assisted me with my negative equity not so good credit along with the low down payment Todd Wenzell is the place to go. Let me not forget about the receptionist whos really awesome I had my children with me and she printed out coloring pages gave them a coloring sheet markers crayons so they had something to do and just really made the wait that I had flawless shout out to her as well. Super excited about my new suv!!First review: Jonny assited me and kept everything upfront with me didnt try to push or persuade me one way or another. Was very honest.
THE NEW TODD WENZEL IS NOT THE OLD RED HOLMAN!!!Twenty year customer, purchased five vehicles from this dealership. NEVER AGAIN, AND ALL BECAUSE OF THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT.Thursday morning before 8:30 AM. Brought my less than one year old car in for A/C not working. I was going to drop it off. Not another car in the lanes. The four service writers, perched on their chairs didnt even move.I was informed by service writer Gregory, the earliest they could get to my car was next Wednesday! Seriously? A week before they could look at why my A/C wasnt working. Based on their declining performance i was expecting a couple days.Never again. If you need a new car, and especially if you need service GO ANYWHERE ELSE.
The oil change I scheduled the appointment for went ok. When I asked about getting my car washed Jacob told me that it was too cold. He also said he wasn’t allowed to do car washes when the temperature was below freezing. It was not below freezing when I asked. He didn’t give me the option of washing my car and have me take it home to put it in my garage which is what I did when I left Todd Wenzel’s.I was disappointed.
My husband brought his car back in July,2021 to fix it and today is December 3,2021 and the car has not been returned. Every time we call in to the person who was taken care of my husband case she always lets his call to the voicemail and never calls back only text.Which is unacceptable!!! Now we got in touch with the manager and the day before Thanksgiving he promised that the car will be ready on December 1st if not, he will call back. The call never happened!!! My husband got tired of calling every week and not getting a truthful respond back, so he drove there. When he came into the shop, manager told him that now he needs to wait until December 17th!!! What??? Are you for real people? It has been 5 months that my husband doesn’t have his car and you are not responsive as you supposed to be. We would appreciate a call back and truthful answer on when my husband will get his car back??? So please due you due diligence and tell us if the customers that my husband is after right now brought their cars first!
When I visited this dealership, I really had no expectations of getting approved for a vehicle, but I thought Id give them a try. My salesman Vassie was a great listener and with the help of the financial dept, Zach, brought me a car with my budget in mind. I ended up getting a car that I love, with payments I can afford! We were so happy with the service we received, my SO went back the following week and got himself a vehicle as well! I highly recommend Todd Wenzel to anyone that needs a new car!
I am giving 4 stars because the day I took my vehicle in for a oil change and tire rotation, something that should have taken maybe an hour at the most considering I made an appointment, turned out to be 3 hours. Everyone was friendly, polite, and professional but unfortunately it takes them a while to complete the task. I would take my vehicle to them again because so far they have done a good job however, I recommend being prepared to wait hours to get your vehicle back. Thank God I live close enough to go home to wait.
I had an appointment, only to show up at the appointed time, to be told that the part was not available to fix my car. They told me they would call me when the part came in. They never called, I ended up calling them. They then told me they had the part and scheduled another appointment for me. I wasnt happy because this was for a safety recall issue. It was an inconvenience because I had to sit and wait. The first appointment, I had arrangements for a ride. They didnt offer, not even a free oil change for the inconvenience they put me through. When I showed up for the second appointment, they informed me that they wasnt sure if they could get to my car, but I told them I had no other option but to wait for my car.
The service department is by far the worst place to have your car tended to, the only reason I gave it a star at all is cause it was the only to start typing my review. My fiancée recently took her car in for a oil change, at which time the service rep called her a traitor for going somewhere else to have her oil changed the last time. When she returned to pick her car up she was told she needed a new tire because she had a nail in the side wall of the tire and it could not be repaired. When she asked to see the the nail they changed their story and said it was in a spot that couldn’t be seen due to how the car was parked, she refused the service and took the car to the tire shop she purchased them from less than a year ago. When we pick up the car from the tire shop they informed us the only thing wrong was a air leak where the tire and rim seal. This is not first time they lied to charge for unneeded services… DON’T GO HERE. Lairs and cheats run the place!
To me a purchasing or service experience is mainly about the people that you are working with. I work with many representatives of service operations, dealerships, and parts vendors and I have to say that Albert Li of Todd Wenzel Buick GMC is one of the best sales representatives I have ever worked with. He is always attentive of the customers needs and requests. Thank you for this opportunity to share our experience.
Drove a long way for a car in my price range, the only good thing about the dealership is the salesman who was so caring and nice. I was told they topped my fluids and did a safety check. After a week and half my car over heated, my tires got low fast, and my fluids were not topped and they were leaking. It’s kinda a joke I’m already spending all this money on a car they ensured was safe to drive. Water pumps are not cheap to fix. Very disappointed
I was very impressed by HANCESS my saleswomen, from start to finish, she went over and beyond to get me in the suv I wanted, the day I went to pick up my terrain I was literally in and out, she made sure all my paperwork was ready and it toke no time, a special thank you to HANCESS and the whole team for making this happen, would definitely recommend
I took my truck in two and a half months ago to get my purge valve replaced. i have heard from you guys maybe three times since then. All three occasions were initiated by me. i have left several voicemails, texts, and emails with no response. i still have no idea when the part is coming in or when my truck will be fixed. The lack of communication is very frustrating. I will not be a returning customer for any future sales or service.
Amazing experience. One of the few dealers open on Saturdays. From the salesmen helping me out. Test drive. And even assisting with returning my rental car. Ask for Ali.The fiance team was great. Patrick is out there killing it. Upfront and honest in all steps of the process. Ill be coming back there for a good while.
There are good at repairing your vehicle just had a problem with the person working with me just found out she walked out and didnt turn in the information about my truck and they didnt have a contact number for me if I didnt go up there I will still be waiting they took care of the problem and Im up and running Thank you.
I was totally satisfied by the car buying experience. As you know, it can be a stress filled process however, Darnell McDaniel made the whole process very good by being attentive and patient and explaining each step of the process. He went over and beyond by staying late both days with us as my wife and I made decisions. Well done and we will return!
I planned ahead and made an appointment online only to find out when I arrived that my appointment was not found in Todd Wenzels system. Dillion L. was not thrown off by the mix up and took my vehicle right in without delay. Service was quick and thorough and I had my vehicle back in no time. Great experience and will use Todd Wenzel service from now on, and will purchase my next vehicle here as well.
Been dealing with an intermittent problem for Stabilitrac and Traction control light on my 2016 Acadia for over 6 months. The light pops on and stays on for me but when I would have a shop look at it the light didnt activate during their test drives and analysis. Another dealership (Chevrolet) had my truck on 2 separate occasions for several days and could not fix it because they couldnt locate the problem without the light being on. Well one time it did light up and read the codes but said the problem was I drive with 2 feet! Thats what the computer read out actually printed smh. First time taking it in for service at Todd Wenzel and boom, within 2 hours my stored code was located and now I know the issue was the rear hub bearing sensor. That part of the story gets 5 stars and the cost of repair gets far less stars lol. If YouTube had a tutorial...well anyways, Ill leave it to the professionals.Lol. I love my truck again!
I requested an oil change, tire rotation and bring the air pressures in the tires to 35 lb. The oil change was completed in record time and we were out the door. While you service rep was pleasant and helpful, I shortly discovered that no change was made to the tire pressure and the tires were not rotated. It makes me wonder what other short cuts were taken. Your service is based on trust and, in my opinion, you failed that trust. I’m not sure I will return to you for further services.
My salesman Johnny was outstanding! He kept me informed throughout the whole process. They made it extremely easy to purchase a new vehicle. Everyone was upfront and honest. Pat the financial person was very patient and not pushy. Even the tech girl, very knowledgeable!
My cars engine shorted out from rain, had it towed to Todd wenzel, watched it disconnected n left there. Dealership kept calling me for 4 weeks asking for me to drop off car. I told them multiple times the make, model n plate number and that the vehicle was there on their lot. I finally called a manager, who had Amanda call me n she found my vehicle on their lot. Then it took 3 more weeks for them to evaluate and send repair estimate to the insurance company. Here it is 9 weeks later n I still dont have a car, nor do I know what is going on with it. Nobody calls back no matter how many messages I leave for workers like Jeremy or managers. So frustrated n only getting worse.
At a time when most facilities are short on staff, the service department performed my oil change and tire rotation quickly and conveniently. They were careful to keep the interior clean with protective covers and advised me about future service needs at my next scheduled interval.
Amanda was my service tech. She was very friendly and courteous. I had an issue with my warranty company and she was very helpful with helping me resolve my issue. I would recommend using their service dept. whenever you need service on your vehicle. Thank you Amanda, you earned my business and my respect!
I was given the complete run around with my car over a simple check engine light. The guy that checked me in (Tommy) never communicate anytime. Then I had to call the Dealership ALL DAY to finally get ahold of the service manager. Finally got some communication but no real answer. He did deliver the vehicle back to me at my job for all the inconvenience. Then 3 days later after they said everything was fine, my check engine light was back on. Called and left Jordan a message with no call back. Called and talked to someone else in service named Amanda that said he would call me in 30 minutes. Its been 3 days now and still no call. I AM COMPLETED DONE WITH DEALING WITH THE TODD WENZEL DEALERSHIP.
We had a very pleasant experience with our sales representative Johnnie and the team at Todd Wenzel GMC. Johnnie is very knowledgeable, courteous, and extremely efficient with his approach. Everyone was very nice from the manager to the finance department to the sales staff. I reccomend this dealership for professional and friendly sales and service support. Thank you Johnnie
Truly I dont know how theyre staying business, I have never dealt with anything like them. Theres no communication thats one problem, every call go to voicemails and no return calls. It doesnt matter if its you, claim adjusters, towing service etc. The other bigger problem is the chronic lying, from the service manager, mechanic on down. After 5 weeks of lies about what was and has to be done, they said theyre were putting my vehicle on a hoist for repairs. I waited a week before calling for an update. After 3 days of no return calls, I went there physically to see what was being done, I found my car still in the lot untouched. After be lied to from a service rep, and most of all the service manager who tried to tell me it would be another week and a half before possibly getting it on a hoist. He lied about myinsurance companys involvement, just lies in general. There incompetence is staggering. my vehicle was towed in Aug.27th and towed out Oct.14th to Gordon chevrolet. Where Im getting great service, respect and professionalism. Anyone thinking about going to Todd Wenzels in westland should reconsider. They are the WORST !!!
BEST experience ever buying a used vehicle.Greg was our salesman. He was extremely nice, answered all our questions honestly, and DID NOT pressure us in any way to make a purchase. His manager Bryce approved the sale quickly and in a fair manor. Zach in finance walked us through our loan and warranty paperwork. He answered all our questions clearly and in detail. If your looking to purchase a vehicle we HIGHLY recommend you stop in at Todd Wenzel of Westland.
Very professional , took a issue and resolved it in a one day turnaround. I have owned cars from five other dealership. I have never received a one day turnaround on any body shop work until today. The whole experience makes me feel great , that I finally have a dealership that has my back.
I had a great shopping experience at Todd Wenzel Buick. Our salesman, Johnny Johnson went above and beyond to get the vehicle that was best for me. He spent a good deal of time explaining the new features and how to use them because my former vehicle was much older and didnt have these features. And, the young lady who assisted with the financial piece was fantastic, she was patient and answered any and all of my questions and concerns. I would refer, Mr. Johnson to friends and family in the future.
Took vehicle in November 15th due to headlamp being broke on our 2021 Yukon. To start when calling last week I was advised that the part would be ordered therefore we scheduled the appointment on the 15th, Jacob was friendly but not very knowledgeable. He contacted us on the 17th to come in to speak to the collision department and sign paperwork so that the part can be order-to only get the run around. The collision manager says we dont know if there is other damage underneath and cannot just replace the headlamp assembly SCAMMERS. WE.go back to the service department to order the parts and take it elsewhere JACOB tells us the headlamp would cost at least 1,000 and the the fog lamp would be another 200. Just received a call FROM JACOB saying the parts are more than 2,000 This place has a bunch of uninformed SCAMMERS. Never again will we go there NOT to mention we are repeat customers. This is by far the WORST experience, our other visits were GREAT. Very disappointed
Im often wary when looking for trustworthy service especially for my car. I dont live nearby so I usually find a place for my oil changes closer to home (Yes, this is the dealership where I purchased my car). This time I really wanted my car looked through for anything it may need before I drive it long distance this summer. The service center fit me in the day I called (my original plan elsewhere fell through due to short staffing), took me in immediately even though I was a bit early, I didnt have to wait long at all, and it was the best price compared to the options I considered. From the phone call to the time I drove away it was friendly service with no pressure. Im extremely grateful for their customer service.
Previously I would’ve given this dealership a 3-4 stars based on my experience with getting my truck serviced when I lived in the area. But recently over the last two weeks it has been almost impossible to get a hold of someone from their service area. I’ve called, left voicemails with my call back number, I’ve called and immediately been hung up on. Today was the first day I actually talked to a person, I told the gentlemen I wanted my service invoice from last year as there is a new recall on my truck and GMC will reimburse it (about 3k worth of fixes) and the guy asked for my email address, and phone number, didn’t ask about what invoice I wanted or what service was done to my vehicle, he said he would email it all to me and if it didn’t work he would text it to me. That was about 8 hours ago. Not sure what happened between last year and this year at their dealership but I am not happy and would not recommend them currently.
I bought a used car as is. I am 70 I am fully aware what that means. Having said that, I expected some help with issues as I drove car off lot. Didnt happen.I saw the car on the carfax website. I was ok with what I saw. Todd Wenzel had an ad underneath the report saying 172 point inspection is performed on vehicles they sell. No evidence of that happened. I assumed it was. I was wrong in assuming. I spent $598 on needed work just a few days after. I not happy. I expected more from the dealership. I doubt I ever will buy from them again.
As someone who sells cars for a living as well. Albert should know not to approach a customer on the lot while texting on his cell phone and continue to stay on it while talking to a customer. Oh yea and if you dont sound interested in the product you are trying to sell, no one would be interested in buying from you.
Service department greeter was very urgent on getting busy doing his job. He forgot to even say hi or greet me in any way. When placing paperwork on desk area - he says sign it. My reply was what Im I signing? He says work order to do we ork on your car. Then states waiting room is thru those doors- pointing these out. What customer service ?
Easily scheduled an appointment and upon arrival was immediately waited on by a service advisor. He was courteous and directed me to the customer lounge. The area was clean and sitting was designed per CDC guidelines. My vehicle service was finished in the stated time and I was on my way. Happy that I switched my purchase and service to Todd Wentzel.
As many of you know the car market today is trash and finding a actual car is basically the equivalent of finding the heart of the ocean after the old lady chucked it overboard. I’ve never considered a Buick in my life but as basically a last ditch effort and being quoted astronomical numbers everywhere else I figured it couldn’t hurt - enter Jared. Jared was realistic, no BS and extremely helpful. He found me a car when it seemed like everyone else could not. He got me a price that no one else could. If I had the heart of the ocean I would not throw it overboard I would give it to Jared.
My service Representative NEVER called to authorize the repairs to my vehicle. The service representative NEVER called or communicated an updated quote on the repairs. This resulted in the actual bill to me being over twice the price of the original invoice.Further, my vehicle was brought into to repair a broken door handle. The door handle was in a state that would not allow the door to open from the exterior of the Vehicle. After performing the unauthorized repairs the Vehicle Doors on the passenger side would not lock, and the windows on the passenger side would not roll down. The mechanics in the back were able to resolve the issue in a matter of minutes the next day. To me this comes off as Shoddy worksmanship and poor attention to detail.I will likely be taking my vehicle elsewhere for further work.
I was not happy with the 2 hour oil change after I had an appointment. Then the prices went up for the oil change and my regular price was $70. Then they did not have an oil change stickers for my windshield and said to wrote it down and keep it in car. I have enough to keep up with with two youth boys. That is why I like my sticker. I called to voice my concerns to Mr. Jordan the manager and never received a phone call back. I just my concerns are low on the list.
I will never buy another GMC this was my first and last I have had nothing but issues with detailing and maintenance issues on a 2015 Yukon XL SLE, its been nothing but a nightmare since I purchased this garbage I understand that it is a used vehicle, but it should be showroom cleaned and maintenance for the price. The service department makes you feel lower than the rest because it is used and not new the rims are ate up from previous owner, there was no tire key, the back bumper is loaded with scratches and the front bumper is broken and cracked it took 2 times for the detail melted candy in the back door they removed that on the second detail the back was loaded with dog hair the seats and interior are stained and scratched up this is just some of the issues, but they did replace the black rubber on the bumper but refused to fix the scratches, they did detail twice and its still not right, I did get a tire key after them telling me I had to pay for the previous owner losing it, but they did get one and changed the locks, but didnt do front wheel alignment so now its pulling to the right which it didnt do until they touched the tires, but they didnt fix the rims, they have me feeling a little scared to say anything about the front bumper or the truck at all the sales department knew of all issues and reassured us that it will get taken care of with no problem so we went through with the paperwork I had no clue I would be dishing out a deductible already on repairs that should be done at purchase I got a hell of a smack in the face. So I will be getting rid of it as soon as I can I know it will be some years because I just bought it a month ago, but best believe soon as I can it will be gone fast and back to Fords I go. I wish I would of kept my expedition and left this crap on the lot. If you want your goals crushed on finally working hard to get a nice vehicle then go here. The sales department was great I can say that, but nothing was done that was promised. One disappointed customer 😔
We been going to this place for a long time to lease a car usually with my dad. We never had any issues before but this time leasing experience was very stressful, unprofessional and disorganized. This was my first time to lease a car on my name. We weren’t given the list of things that we would have to bring to sign the lease until 1 hour before the car pick up. And most of these things we needed time to organize such as car insurance- they just assumed we knew everything. Furthermore, we were quoted different price at initial appointment and when we told them they were being unprofessional by throwing all these things on us at last moment- all of sudden everything changed. Manager called and told us that GM supplier can’t be passed on which is probably true but isn’t that their responsibility to check everything before they quoted us for a price? Also, if mistake is made instead of making customer mad, they should have figured out a solution. Wewent with it because we really needed a car and we waited 1 week to get this car, but in the future, I would never go to this dealership.
Purchased A Used Ford Escape From The Used Car Dept On 3/18/21...No Pressure, No Gimmics...Was Able To Negotiate A Lower Price Without Issue...Friendly Staff, Great Service..After Doing, And Updating Some Routine Maintenance (For My Piece Of Mind)...I realize I Got A Great Deal...I Highly Reccommend WENZEL OF WESTLAND, For Anyone With A Tight Budget, In Need Of A Used Car...I Will 100% Return In The Future....See MR. FISH....
As a customer. The service representative Alex could have been more helpful of communicating and keeping me in the loop of updates on my vehicle. He did call me to tell me of what necessary repairs I needed. He did indicate that it will be few days and the total amount. Instead of Alex calling me, Id called him and Ived left him a message. Alex didnt returned my call and Ived called him back again to see what was going on. He said hed never received my message. I the future, common curiosity would be appreciated. Thats just business, with honesty and integrity.
The drop off was not a appointment but they still got me in. I needed the repair done thru warranty from Ethos because I purchased extended coverage. That went fine. Truck was done next day for both front hub bearings. No issues. If I had anything to add it would be for Todd Wenzel to offer a car wash and give back a clean truck. Would have been a nice touch. Other than that great service.
Purchased a 2019 Ford Expedition Max for my wife. The vehicle was as described and Greg Dawkins was a pleasure to work with. I had found a similar truck in the area and traveled from Indiana to look at both. Gregs quick response, professionalism, and willingness to work with us made the difference. Greg was able to jump start the paperwork and allowed us to wrap up the deal quickly. Nice to see that level of customer service is still available.
2 stars because of harassment & unsatisfactory. They offered to bring a car I was interested in from a different location. My appointment was for Monday but was told if I wanted to come in Saturday, that the car would be there.Monday they called and said it was sold that Saturday but would bring over a different car similar but after I told them I was not interested in the color choice, they insisted, which was not there for my appointment time. While waiting, they said they would reimburse us for whatever food we decided to get. The did not. I gave them one last opportunity & wanted another car brought over to inspect, but decided I was already unhappy with the customer service. They called and emailed me and I did not answer. They called again and told them I was not interested because every I felt uncomfortable and pressured after they tried to sell me several things I did not want. They proceeded to call again the day after and I explained AGAIN i did not want to do business with them. I DO NOT recommend.
My service appointment was at 10 and my car was taken in immediately. Travis thoroughly explained my services and gave me an estimated completion time. While I was waiting he showed me the engine and cabin filters and recommended replacing them. Checkout was easy and Travis gave me the rebate form I needed.
I went in regarding a recall I received, was told the parts had to be ordered, and that someone would contact me once they arrived. Well that was 3 months ago and I am still waiting. I was kicked to the curb!!!!!Wow such horrible service. I’m glad the recall was not detrimental to my safety! Thanks but no thanks for the non-service
I purchased a new suv from Randy Cecil and without a doubt this was the best salesman I’ve had in a long time. I told him what I wanted and he made it happen. He didn’t try to sell me something that I didn’t want and most importantly he didn’t lie to me. I went to 3 dealers prior to talking with Randy and was willing to order what I wanted and wait but they still tried to sell me something I didn’t want. Thank you Randy!
Bait and Switch. Their service estimators are an absolute disgrace. They gave me a quote on the 45,000 mile service on my Acadia and I made an appointment. The girl who was there quoted $150.00 more than the guy who quoted me over the phone. After I told her this and the name of the guy, I was transferred over to him and he said no problem he can take care of it. There was no repair just the service which is very specific. When I picked up my vehicle it was $130.00 more. I asked him why and he said it was only an estimate that he gave me. Why the heck would you do an estimate on specific services like oil change? My last visit ever to this bait and switch people. If they want to get rich by cheating people, good luck.
First time using the service dept. I arrived 15 minutes early only to wait to get in. In fact,I had to call to find out what’s the hold up. Finally, I was written up and was told repairs would take about 1.5 hours. I inquired about the vehicle at the 2 hour mark and was told there just buttoning it up. 45 minutes later I walked back to see a line of cars mine being in the front of completed cars. The car was not cleaned or anything done but the repairs. My question is why did I wait 45 minutes after it was ready? If you can’t respect my time I think I’ll find other dealer.
Amanda J. was such a great help! She got everything I needed done! Amanda was super friendly and professional, I loved talking to her. Lol give the woman a raise! It’s hard to find good customer service now these days, It’s very clear she deserves one! I’ll definitely come back.
I went to the dealership to get an oil change, air cabin filter, engine air filter, and new wiper blades. I had to wait about 2 1/2 hours for the service then when I left I noticed that the new wiper blades stuck out in my vision through the windshield. I called the service department immediately when I arrived home and they told me to bring the car back. I though the wrong size wipers were installed. I went back two days later and Jeremy was quick to tell me that is how GM makes them. I pointed out that no other car had wiper bladed sticking up in the windshield. He said there is no refund on wiper blades and offered no resolution. Between parts and labor the wiper blades cost $45.81 and now I need to buy after market wipers that will fit the car better. My husband purchased Rainex for his 2015 Buick LaCrosse. Needless to say disappointing experience.
Sales gets 4 stars but service only gets 2 stars. Leased a 21 Acadia at4 and its had a clunking coming from the front end since 1000 miles. They have no loaner cars available but during the signing of papers thry claim if your car needs service they offer loaner cars. They recommend we try other dealers do the service if we want a loaner lol.
They had my brand new truck In for service twice both times they had it over a month. The 2nd time they didnt fix half the stuff they said they were going to fix and and when I got my truck back there was a extra 1000 miles on it and a bunch of scraches on my BRAND NEW truck, was told I was going to get a call back about that its been 3 weeks still nothing. So if you want your vehicle to be taken for a joyride while its supposed to be in service then take your vehicle to them.
Todd Wendel Buick GMC of Westland made my experience of purchasing a SUV not once but twice a very pleasant experience. Greg Dawkins is not only professional, but he took his job as my salesman to heart. He made sure I was educated and comfortable during the whole process. I would recommend Greg and his team to be your complete salesperson.
Life changed due to COVID & Im still not comfortable with the NEW way of dropping a new car off in my driveway. Some of us still need the human & physical aspects to buying. With that being said, my visit to Todd Wenzel was like visiting the famous tv pawnshop. You have to know your worth, be willing to negotiate and BOOM a deal is made (or not). I would say Gary Lyons is one of their best guys. Once the heat from negotiating business is over, hes pretty cool. I LOVE my truck with terms I can live with. To me it was a WIN/WIN which is not how most of us feel living a car dealership (i.e. Matilda, lol 🤣). The only reason I didnt get a 5-Star was bcse I had to stop in my dress and put air in my left rear tire. No one double-checked the tire presure on 3 tires, OnStar showed it via email.
Made an appointment online for an oil change/ tire rotation. Got it done in about an hour, which I thought was reasonable. My service writer was great! Travis was courteous, friendly, and patient with me when I was having a hard time pulling up my GM rewards to use towards my service. Only feedback for improvement was a couple employees walking around without masks. A female service writer had hers hanging from her neck the whole time; even while talking to customers. She wasnt talking to myself at all, so I didnt feel the need to say anything but if this is a concern for you, you may want to take this into consideration.
10/10 experience all around! From the front desk all the way to sales team. Justin was very helpful and went above and beyond assisting me in the process. I am really excited about my new vehicle! I will be sure to send all of my family and friends here from now on! Great experience!
Made an appointment for a repair. Dropped off car in the morning, looking forward to have it repairedCalled six hours later, and was told for the first time that they would need to keep the car 4 to 5 days because they’re backed up. I question whether or not they understood what make an appointment meantAlthough they took appointments, it seems to be a first come first serve, and they don’t care if they have to keep your car for a week and a half. I made my appointment another Buick dealer, and it was fixed in an hour
Albert was seriously the best sales person Ive ever worked with! He was NEVER pushy and was genuinely concerned about getting my family into the best possible option. This was my first vehicle lease and it was an absolute breeze! The team at Todd Wenzel is the real deal and I will 100% be returning for my GMC Sierra after the Encore GX lease.
At first it was good. The staff was relatively friendly and the price seemed ok, not great but OK. Then came the purchasing, I wanted to get in and out but they simply didn’t care. It took about 30 minutes to see the financial manager and when I seen him he spent 45 minutes trying to sell gap insurance after I told him initially that I don’t need it. I’m a first time car buyer so I’m not knowledgable about how transfer registration works I didn’t know that the kiosk ticket wouldn’t work after I traded in my previous car. So now my registration is expired and when I ask them for any type of guidance they told me “go to the Secretary of State”. I just wish they would of told me to renew my registration before transferring the title or somehow let me new that my renewal notice wouldn’t work for this car. Utterly no guidance for first time purchaser. I will purchase a car from here again.
There was only 1 person working in the service area at 7:20am. He was doing all of it. Opening the garage, writing down my miles, doing my paperwork. My car was scheduled for an oil change and a cleaning. When I picked my car up at 4:00, there was again 1 person behind the counter and a person in the office, who I am assuming was a manager, but am not sure. There were 2 other customers in the waiting area, none of which were at the counter. I was not greeted when I walked in and after 15 minutes, I asked the other customers if they were just waiting or if he was helping them. He turned and said he was busy and I would have to wait.I asked him if he could get help and he said there wasnt anyone available. At 440, I finally got my turn to check out. The computer didnt take my coupon. The manager happened to come out of his office to do something else and had to help him. It should never take 40 minutes to pay for an oil change. Not once did anyone, including the manager recognize that he needed help. Since Red Holman has turned over to Todd Wenzel, the customer service department and how they function together is terrible. I am very disappointed as I have purchased more than 7 cars from this dealer over the years. I do not feel that I will be coming back if things dont change. I will give the service department 1 more chance before deciding. Hopefully things improve.
Mr. Johnny Johnson is the man to see! We walked in he greeted us, made us feel like we were apart of his family and not just trying to make a sell. He stayed in contact throughout the process and had us rolling 3 days after walking in the door. Good people, Great service!
Well, the oil change experience was not that great. Was told it would take 1hr; turned into 2 hours.Technician seemed inexperienced. Very nice but appeared to not be certified ( spilled oil outside filling area)On the other hand , extremely satisfied with a mirror problem that was actually my fault. Sorry I didn’t get his name but after some detective work he found where I placed an insurance company device over a sensor on the back of my rear view mirror creating the problem. Very much appreciated that, thanks.Once the tech gets a few more oil changes under his belt I’m sure he’ll be okay.
Worked with Josh Anger who went above and beyond to ensure a seamless transaction. Not only did he get me the BEST pricing out of 12 dealerships (not to mention several upgrades on my vehicle free of charge), he had all the necessary paperwork prepared prior to my visit. I was in and out within 50 minutes. Very pleasant experience!
We dropped our car off at 10am and we were told it would be ready that afternoon. We asked if we could have a loaner in the meantime and we were told no, that because they weren’t going to have it long we couldn’t have a loaner. My husband called by 6pm when he hadn’t heard from anyone. He was told a part had to be ordered it was arriving at 9am the next day and the car wouldn’t be ready until 2pm that next day. The next day around 1:40 we hadn’t heard from anyone and decided to call up there before driving up to pick up the car. We were told that the part never arrived and the car wasn’t ready. After getting very upset that we weren’t getting any communication about our car we were told the part was arriving within 20 minutes and we’d get a call as soon as the part arrived in 20 minutes. An hour later my husband called AGAIN and was told the part had just arrived and the car would be ready by 4. We asked to speak with a manager as the service and quality of experience had been awful and we were transferred to a full voicemail box and disconnected. Even when we were expressing our frustrations we kept being told “I’m the middle man there’s nothing I could do”. There was no effort to correct the problem or improve the situation. Had we been informed of the updates with our car, and offered a loaner so we weren’t stuck at home waiting it would’ve improved our experience tremendously. We were hoping to buy this car or purchase our next one from here but after dealing with the poor service we dealt with we will find another dealer. We do not want to deal with a dealership that treats its customers this way.
I couldnt be more pleased. My salesman, Randy Cecil, was very easy to work with, answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. Never any pressure. Ive recommended the Todd Wenzel dealership and specifically Randy to several people. Ive lost count of the number of vehicles my wife and I have leased over the years, and all through Randy. Its always a pleasure.Bill Langley
This our 2nd vehicle lease from Todd Wenzel. Great experience both times. I highly recommend Randy. He is very knowledgeable about all the vehicles. He takes his time and goes over all the details. Never felt any high pressure sales while there. We will be back when our next lease is up!
Drove 50 minutes for n emissions test was then told it would take 2 days just to look at my vehicle. No loaners are available. Then the service guy swiped my card wrong and told me it was declined and when I called the creditor they saw it was human error card was good.
Lydia & Greg were oustanding!!! Not only did They get me Into a stylish, affordable vehicle, they did the same for my daughter. I loved how professional, patient & kind they were to us & not to mention how we were offered refreshments throughout the whole time we were there. Everyone there was AWESOME!!! 👍👍👍 to Lydia, Gerg & the rest of the team. Im very pleased & so Is my daughter 😁😁😁.
This was honestly the worst vehicle purchasing experience of my life. After driving 2 hours and looking at a used 2015 F-350 for about an hour I was told they would beat my pre-approved financing (3.65% over 5 years or 4.15 over 6 years) so I sat there for another 2 hours during which they had 7 banks pull my credit report. I understand the ability to shop around for the best rate but at no point did they inform me that they would check with 7 banks. I assumed they already had a bank that they would go to for their best rates. At this point it’s like, well if you can’t beat my rate stop running my credit and hurting it. So then I was informed that they had beat my rate and I went into the finance managers office (Jess S. - would not recommend working with him as he was very rude) where he started giving me papers to sign without even discussing financing with me. So I asked about the financing and he proceeds to say that only one bank approved me. So I went back to my question about financing and he then told me he got me approved for 7.75% over 6 years, after I had been told they beat my rate at my bank. Pretty shady. At this point I had been there for 3 hours and was ready to be done so I informed him I would just use my financing. He then informed me that if I didn’t accept their financing the price would go up $1,000. That’s fine I guess, a bit shady, but they reserve the right to control the price. I was then promised by several people the truck would be detailed until it was in perfect condition (it was so dirty inside, French fries under the seats, candy under the seats, dirt on everything). After waiting an entire week I was told the truck was ready (they had to replace a few sensors apparently) I came to pick the truck up and found that it was even dirtier than when I had looked at it. At this point I just accepted the fact that I would have to clean it myself. A terrible experience, would not recommend this dealer to anyone. The only reason I actually bought the truck is because these trucks are so hard to find in Michigan right now and this one had everything I wanted. To top things off, the check engine light came back on after driving it home when they had allegedly fixed everything. The only bright point was the sales consultant Greg. He was great to work with and actually cared about what I wanted out of the deal but it’s hard to accomplish anything when terrible management steps over you.
Took my car in for an oil change because we were going up north the next morning, In the morning there was oil all under my car on my drive way. Took it back to dealer not happy about it. They open at 7:00am and there were no Techs there. So had to wait Hour and a half at least 😒They acted like no big deal. It ends up the seal on the oil filter was twisted the Tech over tightened it. It happens They should of at least offered a coupon or something for the Inconvenience
Just started our third lease with Todd Wenzel. This may have been my favorite experience yet. The team was so friendly and me me feel like family. They seemed to actually care about me and getting the vehicle I wanted without forcing anything on me. Worked out a deal that was way better than I thought was possible.
The collision shop and service department worked seamlessly together to get all my Terrain’s needs taken care of! It was a one drop shop Soto say in service! Thank you Todd Wenzel of Westland for treating this district teacher like a queen for the day! The respect and joy with which Todd Wenzel employees treat their customers is second to none!
The buying experience was extremely pleasant with the exception of dealing with the finance department. We were at the dealership on Saturday arriving around noon. After the completion of the test drive, negotiation, paper work, etc., we found ourselves at the dealership finalizing our purchase a few minutes after 3pm. The dealership closes at 3pm on Saturdays. Both my wife and i could tell that the finance customer service representative was extremely upset; we can only assume she did not approve being at the dealership after 3pm. Once we did sign all documents and leave the dealership in our new vehicle, the same finance customer service representative cut us off at the exit of the dealership parking lot so she could get on the road as quickly as possible. This type of behavior is not only unacceptable when purchasing a vehicle, but her actions turned into a dangerous event as well. We had just purchased a car and were still on the dealership parking lot when suddenly a dealership employee finds it necessary to cut us off as we are attempting to merge onto the road outside the dealership...unacceptable. This is disappointing given that our sales associate (Johnny Johnson) made the purchasing experience completely awesome. A truly unfortunate series of events that soured an overall awesome experience.
Great service! I brought my car into collision to get repaired and they were prompt with getting it done. They were up front about being behind but kept in contact with me about when I could bring it in. My only complaint is the loaner process. They stated they had a loaner for me and when I arrived they didn’t I had to wait the entire day to get one, they eventually got one for me and it was a beautiful car. Probably will be my next purchase! I fell in love with it. It was just a hassle. I also didn’t appreciate the girl working the front desk not wearing a mask, sitting behind plexi glass or not she was still getting up and walking around and getting paperwork without a mask on. Otherwise all employees were safe and following guidelines which was great to see during a pandemic. I’ll definitely be back.
I was pleased with the service except for one thing. Travis, my service rep told me that the alternator/generator had fail but when i got the paperwork it stated that the alternator was ok but tech suggested that i replace it. I get why the tech would suggest that because of the age of the vehicle. Travis was dishonest about the condition of the alternator, taking away my ability to decide if i wanted to replaced or not. Once the tech is dishonest, you tend to taint the relationship between the customer and the dealer. Train the service reps. To be honest no matter what. Other than that, travis was great.
Yesterday I bought a car and was happy with my sales guy Greg Dawkins and the whole buying experience! He was the first person that greeted me and my husband at the door and was professional, kind and to the point. No extra sales lingo or push to get me to buy anything else other than what I asked for or a push for financing. The whole process literally took 30 minutes after a test drive and I was out of the door. I left happy and I left with the car I wanted. If you want great customer service then you’ll definitely get it here!!
This is the only dealer I will take my truck to. The service is always quick & perfect. Amanda is the service department goes above and beyond to help the customers, if I owned this place I would definitely do what I had to do to keep her around, she has been amazing everytime I had to service my truck. And not just her but the whole service department has been great.
The sales person I spoke with was very disrespectful in fact I work for and with GM and this gentlemen hung up in my face !!! Rude is a understatement !!!Then call back to get in touch with him and the entire staff gave me the run around and did not get to speak back with the man. But I will continue to give the dealer 0 stars. Absolutely horrible !!!
I bought my last car from here - it was a good car. Ive been utilizing their service department for the past 6 years - and it was good service. Never had an issue. I went in yesterday to test drive a new car... it was not a good experience. After scheduling an appointment that the salesman couldnt be on time for - I walked in and waited at the receptionist desk which wasnt staffed. While I waited I got to hear an uncomfortable exchange of the sales rep and manager explaining how this black couple should forget everything they saw before and this was their new deal... didnt sound very respectful... but then again I didnt have all of the context. Someone finally came by to help and after 20 questions didnt know what to show me and needed to confer with his manager... which led to being asked for a credit check before test driving a car... this was after already showing them my credit score from 2 credit bureaus to be 750+. At no point did they ask about cash on hand (oh wait I got 30k liquid right now). Instead they wanted to switch the blame to the banks for not being able to do loans. What a load of malarkey to cover what really felt like discriminatory practices - even if the rationale was true I cant see why my credit score should take a ding to understand if I like your car or not.
For the most part, the purchasing experience was good. Johnny Johnson was very conscientious about answering my questions and conducting the transaction with good COVID-19 precautions. My greatest disappointment was the time it took to complete vehicle prep. I believe that once the situation about the staff shortage was identified on Monday morning, I should have been asked if I could have waited until Tuesday to complete my purchase. This option, in my case, would have resulted in a much more expedited experience. I felt sorry for Johnny because we had completed the purchase process in about an hour and I waited at his desk for another hour and he had to give up some additional customers so he could make me feel like a valued returning client. Finally I was left in the waiting room for more than an additional two hours before he helped me into my new vehicle. A 1 1/2 hour visit ended up being about 4 hours!Ill give 4 stars for the overall experience and my history with the dealership when it was Red Holman but this circumstance cost that last star.
Experience was great overall. Randy did a great job getting me into a new vehicle. I leased 2 new vehicles and is very happy with the results. Randy was very patient and detailed in explaining everything. He was very pleasant and provided superior customer service that I have grown to expect from the dealership. I have been a customer for over 20 years and hope to return once my lease have expired. Great service...thank you Randy for your professionalism and expertise!!!
Fawzi was extremely helpful and always made himself available to answer questions honestly and provide me with additional photos and videos. He made the process as easy as it could be and I’m really grateful for my new car. It really is a quality vehicle. 5 stars for sure. Thanks Fawzi and Bryce.
I’m a returning customer because I was happy with my first experience at Buick Westland last year, and they made me happy again this year! The staff is kind and friendly, and the negotiation is fair and helpful. I’m very thankful for the new lease and my new Encore is awesome! I was satisfied to get my favorite color and also keep the monthly payment reasonable. Thank you for a nice service and a very positive experience. Highly recommended!
Just recently purchased our second vehicle from Greg at Todd Wenzel in Westland! He is the BEST!!! I have never met a nicer car salesman who actually listens to your wants and needs and doesnt try to push you into a decision. He is very patient, caring, and helpful! He has helped my family get two safe and reliable vehicles. Would highly recommend him if you are looking for a new vehicle!
Was in for service a few weeks ago and my service advisor Amanda was amazing. She made sure I felt comfortable and made sure I understood what needed to be done. My vehicle was done before the time I was told and runs great. I was hesitant about coming back to this deal because of past experiences but will now always come back as long and Amanda is working. It’s people like her that make the experience thank you Amanda for such a great experience was also great with my children.
Randy treated me like family. Well, better than family! Lol! He was kind & patient. He listened to me. Never once talked over me. I had experienced that at other dealerships. He didn’t try to talk me into something I didn’t want. He was honest. No surprises with him, he explained everything down to the smallest detail. He was also very prompt with return calls. He will continue to have my & my family’s business. My daughter bought a car from him first. I was so impressed with him I had to do the same. And he had a great attitude during this pandemic. Thank you Randy for the superior customer service.
I am so disappointed in the service, I dropped my car off at 10 in the morning to get an oil change, new wipers, and for my dash to be looked at. I had to call over ten times just to reach someone on the phone to ask them to put new wipers on my car. Then five o’clock hit which was the promised time of my car back so I had to call several times again to try to get a hold of someone. They said it was almost done and they would call me when it was. At 5:40 I got a call saying it was done and I told them I couldn’t just be there in 20 minutes so I would have to pick it up the next morning. When I went to pick it up the next morning none of the paperwork was ready so I had to wait for them to figure out what to charge me. When you had 24 hours just to do paperwork and it wasn’t finished I don’t understand. I have never been so disappointed in service from a dealership.
Great to work with. Great prices. Very easy to get quotes. Flexible to work and communicate with on phone, email and texting. Actually listened to what we were asking for (and the multiple promotions and offers we had), to come up with options to buy or lease on 3 different models. Once we decided on model, they were very helpful to zero in on options, colors, etc. Priced them against other dealer who we have exact same initial info ... and Todd Wenzel was thousands cheaper on lease and purchase quotes. The pickup experience was excellent and easy. Appreciate all that Justin, Don, Hanna and team did to make this process go smoothly.
Terrible experience here, I came here to negotiate a lease for a GMC Terrain and I told the gentleman that I had a supplier discount. Turns out he was pricing the lease with an employer discount the entire time and I didn’t realize this till I was signing papers and read that one of the rebates were GM Employee Discount, I almost signed a 3 year contract because of the little care the employees at this establishment had. My monthly payments would have drastically changed and only after the dealership would have called asking for a employee code would I have found out. I’d like to also mention that my negotiation papers specifically had supplier discount circled. AVOID TODD WENZEL DEALERSHIPS AT ALL COSTS. GM has good vehicles and this dealership chain has done a terrible job of representing the company. Please save yourself the 3 year falsely advertised contract and go somewhere that appreciates your valuable time and business. I wasted 4 hours at this dealership and the only things the employees did about it was sit there and grin. Again, DO NOT BUY/LEASE A VEHICLE HERE AT ALL COSTS.
This service drop off was horrible. I made a 9am appointment to get brakes done and it took two full days to get my car back. It took all day to diagnose what I told them was the reason I was there and another full day to get the work completed. Both days I waited I had to call the service department to see what the status was. Each time I called, they were just about to call me and there was a $300 mistake on my final bill. Overall a horrible experience. Sales in the past was great, service not so much.
Customer service is awful, no one calls with updates or returns calls. Left messages for manager to call me and never got a return call. They Had my car there 4 times in 2 months. Every time I got it back less than a week later the check engine light was on again. Even with a set appointment, they had my car for 6 hours and hadn’t even scanned it to see why the light was on. The last time they wanted to charge me $650 for oxygen sensors to be replaced that they most likely messed up with the flush they had done previously. My husband fixed it him self for $80.
Great experience and overall treatment at Todd Wenzel Buick GMC of Westland yesterday, 4/26/2021. Thank you, Greg for helping me find what I wanted and alleviating my worries. Thank you, Patrick for taking me through paperwork and questions in such a fun and friendly manner. I plan to be back in 36 months! 🙂
Thought I have a good deal, but terms were not followed as discussed. Very upset. I have a Gm discount to boot. Will be talking to manager Monday night. Contacted Gm leasing and Gm consumer service. I am a 70 year old woman who terms were not met.Thank god I have a witness to what was told.Karen Zielesch
I was greeted by everyone from the manager to the porters. Wonderful experience. I went in to test drive a 2008 Acadia that was sold that morning. Gary, my wonderful salesman looked at their inventory and the inventory at their dealership in Davison. We found a vehicle, he had it brought down for my test drive. I ended up purchasing the 2009 Envoy, with super low mileage (71,000). Great job at accommodating my needs for a vehicle. Great process throughout, everyone was kind and made sure my experience was great.
I came to Todd Wenzel Buick GMC looking at the Black Jeep Liberty. I had my mind made up on this vehicle. Greg let me test drive it and get a car inspection. I was surprised they let me get an inspection on it because it took 3-4 hours to get done. After the inspection I learned it was a good investment but wanted to pay 3,500. Greg got the offer down to 3,300. I was so surprised and it was the best thing that could have happened for me in years. I have not been having the best of luck with cars over the past two years.I put the vehicle in the shop today and fixed it to its fullest potential. I love it and it will definitely last me a few years. It is a good quality car and I am proud I chose Todd Wenzel GMC Buick. Thank Greg and Todd Wenzel.
Worst experience Ive every had at a dealership. Because of the horrible service people, even the manager never answered my messages many messages on hold to find the status of my vehicle for 32 minutes to be passed to all four service people no one ever got back to me. I had to walk in to get a response. I will never purchase a vehicle here or have it serviced.
I went without an appointment close to their closing time and was treated as if I was tresspassing. Sales people there were trying to avoid me so that they can sit and chat. I left after 5 mins of ignorance and ended up purchasing an Acadia at a different dealer on the same day.
I am disappointed it took 2 1/2 hours to get an oil change and tire rotation when I had an appointment. I checked in at 3:30 for a 3:45 appointment and was promised my vehicle would be done 5pm. I did not get out of there until after 6pm. The sales manager did end up giving me the service for free, but as I told him, my time is more valuable. I appreciate the gesture. I hope they can work to improve the service wait for future appointments before they lose a customer of over 20 years.
I had a very terrible experience with Todd Wenzel. I took my 2007 Yukon In for service for the Motor, the did the work I got a motor from a company that they deal with, it came with a 6 month warranty. I returned back to Todd wezel 5 months later for the same problem I brung my truck in the first time, and I wondering how can I be bringing my truck back for the same problem when I supposed to got a different motor. So when I get to the dealer they I brung my truck back in time for the warranty. They gave me a loaner car and told me they would be in touch. 3 months go by and they tell me the company they deal with is not honoring the warranty which I was under the warranty time. But before that I had to sign a paper to a agree for them to tare down the Motor for them see the issue with the motor to honor the warranty, and they dont honor the warranty you are responsible for the labor time of them breaking down your motor which is about 2300. Remind you I just gave them 5600 and they turn around and say the company they deal with is not going to fix my motor. I had to get another Motor from them but this time the motor came from GMC which I had to spend another 5500 with a 3 year warranty. Todd Wenzel basically robbed me out of 5600 for the first motor I purched from them. They never see another Dollar from me. Be careful when you do business with Todd Wenzel.
The jury is still out regarding Todd Wenzel and his team. I bought my suburban used from his certified lot and have had nothing but problems. However, the service rep Amanda HAS BEEN AMAZING! She is super attentive to my needs and does all she can to get my truck fixed in a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately this last time I took it in for service what I paid to get fixed was not fixed. I dont know what the plan is but my truck is still not acting tight and the problem they were supposed to fix is still here. I even spoke to the shop manager about the problem and he gave me lots of assurances that fell through.
My experience with Todd Wenzel Service department was not a good one this time around. My service advisor, James Sockow, did not do a good job of communicating the status and length of time it took to receive the diagnostic results that I brought my vehicle in for. Once the results WERE available, he did not do a good job of working with me to come up with a satisfactory solution for my problem. When I asked to speak to a manager, I was told that one was not available, so I agreed to leave a voice mail message for the manager. However, in an effort to transfer me to the manager, I was “disconnected”. When I arrived to retrieve my vehicle, he never once asked if I received an acceptable response from management. I left feeling like they really didn’t care if I got my vehicle fixed or not...or if I would ever return for service in the future. It’s safe to say that they lost a long standing customer this time around.
After receiving an email from Todd Wenzel Buick GMC weeks ago, my vehicle is due for service and I made an online appointment with the dealership. However, after arriving at the dealership Tuesday November 17, I told the service representative that I have an online appointment. He asked me when did I make the online appointment. I told him it was Wednesday November 11 or Thursday November 12. He told me he dont see it on his computer. I told him I received an automatic response that my message was received and to expect a phone call or text message that I didnt receive. The service representative asked me my phone number and said hell look for the online appointment and hell find it. After that he started my service agreement process and said that I can wait until the service is completed or I can drop off my vehicle until its ready. I opt to wait since its just an oil change and tire rotation along with multi-point inspections. After about a 2-hour wait my car was ready and I was on my way.
Ty made the experience really easy. My wife and I had a bad experience when we leased our first car, but we figured we would give Todd Wenzel another chance. We were glad that we did. We will definitely go back to Todd Wenzel when it comes time to get another vehicle.

2022-04-30Hancess was wonderful! She stayed on top of communicating with me regarding new lease options until we found one to my liking. Patrick in finance was great as well walking us through the process and getting me the best deal on added coverages. Can’t wait to return with my husband to get his next vehicle!

2022-05-01Yesterday had the pleasure of purchasing a vehicle from Todd Wenzel Buick of Westland. Hancess made the process so smooth. She is very nice and knowledgeable about the vehicles and kept in contact with me every step of the way whether it was a text message or send a picture of a vehicle I may be interested in. Thank you so much for assisting me with my purchase

2022-02-21The service I received was absolutely unprofessional and unacceptable. I took my vehicle to have the starter changed. This job pays 2 hours labor. I was given excuse after excuse as to why my vehicle could not be completed. I dropped the vehicle off on a Monday. Was promised the vehicle repaired by Wednesday. I have zero communication until Thursday when I had to call and was told it would not be completed until Friday. Friday I once again had to call because nobody called me. I asked to speak to the service manager multiple times and received no call. Friday I was promised the vehicle to be completed. No calls at the end of the day so I had to call and was once again told my vehicle would not be completed. I went to the dealer and picked up my vehicle without repairs. I could not wait any longer and go without a vehicle. I was tired of the lack of communication and excuses. This is disappointing. I have only owned my vehicle for one month that I purchased from Wenzel. I also had my vehicle in for service for the same issue the week before. I was told they would perform tests on the starter to ensure it was not the problem. They did not perform the test, only replaced the battery, which seemingly was not the issue. If the test would have properly been performed initially, they would have determined the starter then, but instead I had to once again bring my vehicle in for service for the second time in the month I have owned it. I have never experienced such poor customer service. Extremely disappointed.

2022-04-18I had the absolute best experience dealing with Hances at Todd Wenzel in Westland. I’m so happy I met such a vibrant and positive person. She is very polite, caring and very knowledgeable willing to go above and beyond. She asked me what I wanted and needed In a vehicle I was very specific in what I desired. She did her job by making sure that all my wants and needs in a vehicle were met, from the exterior and interior colors of the vehicle down to the size. Hances thank you soo much for helping me purchase my dream truck. You are the absolute Best! Can’t wait to send referrals your way! God Bless you and thank you for making it all possible without hesitation. ❤️

2022-03-03I just wanted to share an exceptional visit I had to the Todd Wenzel Westland parts department. I was having difficulty finding luggage rack cross rails for our Buick Enclave for a trip on 3/3/2022. The first dealer I called didnt have them in stock but gave me the part number. I called and Jeffery said he could order and have them the next day. I drove an hour to get the rails. I also wanted to use my GM Rewards points to pay for them. When I arrived Thomas worked hard to figure out my rewards points. Turns out I had listed the wrong email. Once he resolved that he gave me the box with the rails. When I opened it I realized they were not the correct parts for our car. Thomas asked me to get the VIN to verify the correct part. Once he had that he verified availability for the part. Since he knew I was on a tight timeframe and it was too late to order for the next day he sent someone to get the rails. I picked them up the next day and we had them in time for our trip.I appreciate Thomas patience and perseverance! Customer service is not what it used to be but obviously it is with Thomas and Todd Wenzel Buick!

2022-07-07My vehicle was in for service on the air conditioner and heated seat on drivers side. They had it for over a week. I dont know how long the actual repairs took, but I wish they would have evaluated it, ordered the parts and let me have my car until the parts came in. Also if you take your car for service they do not have loaner cars. The staff was outstanding and communicated well with me. Overall, dont know if I would go here for service again as it was over $2000.00 to fix both issues.

2022-06-16Travis did an outstanding job of assisting me in getting and oil change, finding the nail in my tire and getting it plugged. He also offered me quotes on replacing my tires, but I was in too big of a hurry to deal with that at the time. Just want you to know that he did a great job.The young lady that assisted me in checking out also was a big help on your app in getting my membership number to my GMC Rewards Account. I really appreciated them both!
