Comment: I usually do not write above and beyond reviews, however, this time I will acknowledge Marcos, Adrian, Rudy, and the team at Home Depot tool rental. They helped me solved a complex issue with renting tools from another Home Depot location, assisted me getting the appropriate working machines to finish my job at a School. We were dealing with an issue that needed attention and the window of time was very small. The Escondido tool rental Home Depot team assisted me during the morning and afternoon times, and I just want to say they are professional, knowledgeable, respectful, hardworking people and for that I thank you ladies and gentlemen.Definitively, check out this A-Team, they do great work and they do what is right.

Comment: Don’t bother trying to call for help you will stay on indefinite holds, forever rings and endless apologies and transfers by the service desk staff

Comment: We rented a truck from home depot to pick up a piece of furniture. We called ahead to check the availability of their vehicles. A worker by the name of Tong answered and he told us a truck was available but he failed to mention that the individual who is driving the truck must bring a license and the drivers car insurance. Once we got to the store, Tong (the employee) made no effort to identify the rules of renting a home depot truck. He failed to mention that the driver must be over 21, after we had stood at his counter for over 20 minutes. We had to drive all the way home to get our other vehicles proof of insurance. We returned with our other vehicle and proof of insurance for my boyfriend who is over 21 and yet again waited far too long. Total waste of time. His customer service was horrible, and his English was extremely poor. The clerk Tong never showed an ounce of respect nor did he seem to care. He never once apologized for the endless inconveniences he gave us. We are very disappointed in our experience at home depot, which is a shame because we shop there all the time. I question whether home depot is the store I should shop at anymore.

Comment: This store has the most floor reps I have ever seen at a Home Depot on a regular basis. I live down the road and am equal distance from a Lowes and another Home Depot, but I continue to come to this location due to its staff. Wish I knew all their names to give shout outs, but they are all very helpful.Tool rental is very easy due to the knowledgeable staff. Usually I know exactly what I need... once through some friendly conversation I was given invaluable advice to use a different tool/bit for a stucco job. The info saved me so much time.Love this location, been coming here for 5 years.
