Comment: Excellent service! Curtis helped me with the estimate and getting my windshield replaced. He went above and beyond helping to be sure my insurance company would approve it. The whole thing was done very quickly. Jasmine gave me a ride home after dropping the car off and she even came to get me to go back to the dealership. She helped with all the paperwork as well. I really can’t speak highly enough about both of them. It’s so nice to receive great customer service. Unfortunately, it’s rare these days.

Comment: WORST COLLISON CENTER YOU CAN GO. THEY DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THEIR WORK. I COULD HAVE GONE ANYWHERE TO GET MY VEHICLE FIXED AND GAVE THEM THE BUSINESS AFTER JUSTIN EXPLAINED THAT THEYVE BEEN EXTREMELY SLOW (NOW I KNOW WHY). MY REPAIR WAS JUST A MINOR DENT, BUT WHEN I RECEIVED MY CAR BACK, THE SOUND IN MY CAR DID NOT WORK. WHEN I REACHED BACK OUT TO JUSTIN (TOTYOTA COLLISON CENTER) HE NEVER RESPONDED. I THEN RESCHED OUT TO LEXUS CARLSBAD AND WAS ABLE TO GET AN APPOINTMENT. RACHEL WHO WAS MY ADVISOR SEEMED UNCERTAIN OF THE SITUATION AND WE WENT BACK ON FORTH WHO WOULD BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE DIAGONSTIC. I THEN GET A CALL BACK FROM UPPER MANAGEMENT, WHO WAS VERY RUDE AND STATED THAT I WOUKD BE RESPONSIBLE TO PAY FOR THE DIAGONSTIC . ITS UNBELIEVABLE TO ME THAT SUCH A BIG COMPANY IS ONE,NOT TAKING RESPONSIBILITY AFTER I RECEIEVED MY VEHICLE BACK NOT FUNCTIONING HOW I FIRST LEFT IT,BUT 2, GIVING ME SO MUCH STRESS AND ANXIETY FROM SUCH A MINOR ISSUE THAT THEY SHOULD HAVE FIXED. Comment: Really upset in regards to the communication.Scheduled to drop off my vehicle on Monday with a rental, called twice the week prior to ensure a rental was scheduled and called the morning of the drop off. I was assured multiple times that my appointment and rental was ready to go.Later the day, I arrived to the location and there was no rentals available. Front desk did not want to assist on finding me a car to get back home. They just apologized and informed me there was no rentals, which apologies were not going to find me a way home. After the back and forth conversation they finally stated they would reach out to enterprise to find a rental for us. It was an hour just sitting there and figuring out the rental that Toyota had already confirmed it would be reserved for me.

Since this was my first time getting a car fixed, the whole experience was initially daunting. However, Justin made me feel secure and comfortable as he patiently guided me through the entire process, explaining all expectations, answering all of my questions, and accommodating all my needs. He was always friendly, helpful, and professional.In the end, the whole Toyota Carlsbad Collision Center team did an amazing job on fixing my car. Comment: I had a wonderful experience with Toyota Carlsbad Collision. I received a call first and was told to bring in my Corolla and contact Aloha. The original paint had started pealing off. Its a 2016 Corolla and I thought it was too late to bring it in for a repaint. Well when I arrived the application was 1 page long. I didnt even have time to finish my coffee. The lobby was comfortable and clean. I greeted Jose and handed him my keys. Then I was told to go next door to pick up my rental. Three weeks later I came back to pick up my beautiful clean, freshly painted car. Im just too happy with the job Jose did and Aloha was so nice over the phone.

If Toyota Carlsbad corporate would hire 500 of him, Toyota would give them pick of the litter on all-new inventory, they would give them all of the new repair equipment before any other dealership and they would send the entire nations Toyota employees and technicians there for training.Hes not a little robot, he thinks on his feet and he communicates well his analytical skills hit a sweet spot repeatedly.Yeah, there may be other competent people there, but hes on the front line.

Our Lexus Service Advisor recommended the place after being unable to find a shop that could take the car due to backlogs and extended wait times. One call and the car was on its way to Carlsbad Toyota Collision Center. They took care of everything from working with our insurance, our rental car and providing us with regular updates. Mark was our guy from day one. He really made a great impression from the first call until the day we picked up the car. You knew with every call that the car was in good hands. Because my car was unfortunate the paint peeling and it is under manufacture warranty.The only thing that my headliner came off at the edge when I brought my car back. I knew it was not from me.They also offered me a two weeks car rental as well. The paint job costs a large sum of money, but I was covered by Toyota Corporation.I am still waiting for them to reach back to me to fix my headliner.Thank you Mr Morris and Yours staffs so much! Comment: A driver clipped the front quarter panel bumper, headlight and did damage to wheel bearings and tie rod on my 4k mile new vehicle. 100% other drivers fault. Toyota Carlsbad Collision did a very good job and would recommend them getting your vehicle back to factory condition. Once they have been in an accident, their never the same. We asked around and were told to go to Toyota Of Carlsbad Collision Center. There were alot of issues with the other parties insurance company, but thank God for Omar & Maria. They got everything worked out and were in touch with us on a consistent basis, keeping us updated. When the car was finished, because of our work schedule, we were having difficulties making it before they closed. As soon as we called to let them know we couldnt make it by the time they closed, Maria immediately offered to stay and wait for us. We got there, got the paperwork signed, Maria was great, very helpful with an awesome personality. She couldnt have been nicer. We got the keys, walked out to the car, I was shocked! The quality of the repair is excellent, and the job was completed days earlier than I imagined. Neither Carl nor Mark was available the day/time I picked up my car. Comment: The entire team at Toyota Carlsbad Collision was excellent from start to finish. Carl Scott, Andres Solis, and Mike (dont know his last name) were all delightful to work with. Carl (the estimator and project manager) walked me through in a very detailed manner exactly what needed to be done, the damage they found, the parts that needed to be replaced, and the timeline for the repair to be complete. He was very communicative to my phone calls and emails considering how busy he is. I am a very technical person (mechanical engineer by trade), and Carl understood all of my concerns and explained everything to me in great detail to assure me that my truck would be repaired exactly back to factory specs (which it most definitely was). Andres (the lead mechanic/body shop tech) even laid under the truck with me to walk me through the damage and the repair steps that would need to be done. I was so pleased with the work that was done here, I referred my coworker, who had a rear-ended Tacoma to bring his truck here for repairs, which he ended up doing. I’m so happy to have my truck back and honestly you would never be able to tell that any damage ever happened to my Tundra. The estimated timeline for the repairs that Carl projected was accurate and we got our truck back in time to take it up to the mountains in Mammoth! The work they did on my vehicle was acceptable, I originally chose this particular company since they are the only Lexus certified collision center in the area and I had just recently purchased my Lexus. However they left a part in a box in my trunk, when I called to find out why, they stated the part probably wasn’t for my car, which was even more concerning. What professional company goes around leaving other people’s car parts in my trunk? After insisting it was probably the cosmetic paneling that’s I noticed was missing they went out of their way to help put the part on which was very considerate until they didn’t follow through and call or show up at the designated time or new location. The lame excuse was it would take to long. I reiterated I would have paid for it. The next reply was. Oh bring it back it will only take a couple hours. Really. Front alignment was out. I was assured it drove straight. Wrong. Still pulling to the right. Now it will be almost impossible to get this covered by insurance. My service engine light had also come on after the accident and Toyota scanned my codes but said they weren’t going to fix it. Apparently Kevin Dowell is the only person that takes care of farmers insurance (aka 21st century) customers and the ONLY one that could give me an update since the front office knew nothing about my truck. I called a total of SIX times and left him three messages over the course of a week. I finally called again today 10/17/19 a week after dropping off my truck demanding an answer. FINALLY after a full business week I got to speak to Kevin. I understand that they have other customers they need to tend to but I think they could spare five minutes to give me an update on my vehicle. If they really are that busy then they should have other people helping handle farmers insurance customers. My insurance is a large company and Im sure they have a lot of customers. One person to handle all of them is not enough. Now I have to wait another week for my truck to be ready. It was not a large collision at all and I have to wait two weeks for it to be fixed? Next time Ill just choose a different repair shop and save myself the headache of having to hunt down Kevin.

Comment: My car was in the shop for about 2 months with that back and forth between them and the insurance company. Throughout the process there was very little communication from the shop to me. Almost all calls were unanswered and hardly ever received a call back.By the end of it all, the toyota estimator gave me a call saying he had good news and that the insurance agreed to cover all the damages. This was good news because there was a section I had to fight for. I asked if it was covered and he said yes.When I got the car back I noticed that some of the damages hadnt been fixed and asked why? The insurance had denied to fix them but this was unknown to me and very confusing because this was one of the important pieces for me.I was ready to let this slide since the damage wasnt very obvious but when I went to pick up the car they had to jump start it. I drove the car around for about 2 hours then parked it. The next day the car wouldnt start. The battery is completely dead and Ive had to buy another one.The work the shop did was very good, however the lack of communication left me feeling like Id been given the runaround. I will not be using this place again.

Comment: For all the time you had the car...and the person at the desk said that the person with my car would go over the paper work with me....I walked outside and the man said here you go handed my keys to me....I asked arent you going to go over what was done..he said what for. I said can you at least address the area of concern... he walked around the car and said here you go and walked away. Lousy people skills.Also...the clock time was off, the fuel was set at metric system, along with the temperature was in centigrade not Fahrenheit. Carl was very professional a great help throughout the process.My only con would be that sometimes when I would call the office, I would speak to what sounded like a quiet/unconfident intern which was ultimately unhelpful. When I asked to talk with someone else I was usually put on hold for about 10 minutes so I would end up just ending the call and calling back in hopes of getting someone else.Other than that, the overall experience put many of my fears to rest and I would gladly recommend this place to anyone looking for professional repairs.

Comment: Was the victim of a hit-and-run on Camp Pendleton and brought my 2014 Tundra to get repaired here based on the reviews and the proximity to where I live in Carlsbad. Original estimate said it would only take 3 hours to repair my front drivers side fender. Drop my truck off on a Friday morning and get a rental hoping itll be finished by Monday or Tuesday at the latest.Didnt hear anything Monday or Tuesday, got called by Enterprise saying my vehicle was due, and had to physically show up at the shop in person because no one would answer or return my calls. No one could tell me the status on my truck but they assured me they contacted Enterprise and handled it for me.A week later, after again having to call Wednesday and Friday to get some kind of status on my truck repair, Im told itll be ready by 4pm on Monday. I return my rental Monday afternoon and show up at the collision center to pick up my truck. Estimator apologizes for the repair taking so long and sends me on my way.I later get a call from Enterprise saying USAA wont pay for the week I was in my rental because according to the collision center, there were no delays in parts or repair time, when in actuality it took close to a week and a half to repair. I ended up having to come out of pocket for the rental because they werent truthful with USAA.The work this shop did was good, but they do a terrible job keeping their customers in the loop, they dont return phone calls, they have multiple managers who are never really there, and they are not upfront with customers or insurance companies. If youre a servicemember or have USAA, I wouldnt recommend this shop to anyone. Its too difficult to try and get ahold of these people for even the simplest of information regarding your vehicle.

Comment: With out a doubt the worst customer service experience I have ever had! I called the office and scheduled an appointment a few days prior to bringing my car to the shop. When I brought my vehicle for my appointment, one of the receptionists told me that K.C. TOOMEY was my estimator, and would come up shortly to write me an estimate. After 30 minutes of waiting, I seen K.C. walk out to another vehicle. The Shop foreman, Mike, asked him if he could write the estimate for me, since I have been waiting for over half an hour. I heard K.C. say to Mike, while I was standing behind the glass doors in the lobby, tell him to take it to caliber collision center. K.C. must have seen that my vehicle was damaged beyond repair and didnt want to spend time writing up an estimate on a car he could not profit off of by repairing it. After about an hour of waiting, K.C. finally came up to me and asked me, Is your car a total loss? Also saying, I will not write an estimate until an adjuster from the insurance company writes the initial estimate. It was very inconsiderate and unprofessional, especially for someone working at a dealership to behave this way. The person at fault in the accident was insured by Farmers Ins. and Toyota collision a direct repair facility for Farmers. I have a lot of sympathy for the next unsuspecting soul that gets into an accident and has to deal with K.C.

Also they wanted to get more $$$ to finish the job. What is the point of making an appointment just to be turned away? This is truly an awful customer experience. If you cant take my car for a week, then schedule the appointment appropriately, dont make me come in just to turn me away. I expected much better service from Toyota, at least dont waste my time!!

Angie was there to get the paper work going, she was very helpful, she greeted me with a big smile (a sweet girl) and was sorry I had just had an accident.She looked the vehicle over and then turned me over to Peter Staffa who took me through the whole process, it was pleasantly painless.I am extremely happy with the work they did, after all it looks new. They also gave me some additional consideration on the body work they did not have to do.Later I removed my truck shell and discovered it had damaged the top of the cab, yuck. I went to Peter and he said that they would have to repaint the whole top of the cab several hundred dollars---but he knew a trick and he would help me do it free ofcharge!!! What a guy, where do you find people that are willing to help you with their expertise for free?? Carlsbad Collision is now permanently in my Iphone, you have to meet Pete he also has a big smile on his face and it is genuine.Without a doubt I have found my body shop, when you see the lobby and the back where they do the work, I suspect they could have lunch off the floor, but I did see a lunch room. Comment: My opinion is specifically based on María Hipólito since she took me out of a very uncomfortable situation in the office there were two people in the front one of whom spoke Spanish the other understood it but the treatment towards me was very uncomfortable I had many questions and the person who only spoke Spanish turned to see her partner, it was obvious that they were annoyed with my questions and with a very unacceptable attitude she ordered me to sit where she was asking, there was a man with his wife, they spoke English and to The only thing they called you was to sign or to collect, but when the customer had a question they sent him to sit down. My recommendation is to have trained people informed of the process that will be required to repair your car when Miss María arrived. He told me step by step what was going to happen with my car so that I could understand in a kind and respectful way. I felt respected as a valued customer, never ignored, and this is appreciated that they have people like that with excellent customer service. Now I have recommended them. With my family, if they need something, they should go and look for María. She, along with the mechanics and their bosses, will deliver your car to you in perfect condition. I wanted to mention the customer service of the other two girls because I think it is important that this does not happen, how many customers have gone through this and leave and the bosses did not find out what happened that is why my review is so long.
