Comment: My husband and I initially came just to do a test drive on a car I was interested in. We worked with Fernando and Alex. Both were very friendly and great to work with. I did not get the sleezy salesman vibe. They are both family men who were very upfront about the car we were interested in, how the financing worked, and what they could do to help us with being more comfortable with our decision. I ended up making the decision to purchase a used Lexus from them. Alex was very quick and made the paperwork a very easy process. He is very honest as well. He did whatever he could to make me more comfortable with my decision and there were no hidden fees. He explained everything I was being charged for. The only complaints I have is they promised I would leave with a full tank of gas (which I did not, it was only less than half a tank of gas) and the road they take you for the test drive is extremely rural and bumpy, so I almost did not buy the car as I was concerned how bumpy the ride was. But overall, it was a fantastic experience. I highly recommend Fernando and Alex.

Comment: Horrible experience would not recommend at all. Me and girlfriend went to go look at a car and they wouldnt negotiate at all even though the car had a huge gash on the driver side rear quarter panel and deep scratches all over the car. All they did was remove 100$ from the Gap insurance on the loan which was already overpriced. i asked for even a couple of oil changes and completely shut us down. Then when I told them I wasnt interested anymore Tom Friedman got very rude and was trying to guilt trip me saying that are you really going to do this on your girlfriends birthday and didnt even shake my hand which is completely unprofessional. They dont even work with most of the credit unions cause as one of the other salespeople said they dont have good relationships with them and I wonder why. i would not recommend to anyone red flags all over

Comment: Bought a truck from them 2 years ago. Ever since I got it the check engine light comes on and off. I got the extended service warranty and it doesn’t apply every time I bring it. They said it’s not for maintenance but it was covered for an air filter but they lost my engine cover and they couldn’t even ship it to the house had to drive another 45 minutes so they can have me put it on myself. Check engine light on again after they told me to take it back if it comes on so I took it back for misfire and they said it doesn’t apply drove out 45 minutes for them to say sorry we can’t do nothing for you.

Comment: Had a really bad experience here with repairs on my Chevy bolt. SAs here are waiting to trap you in with false promises and charge $$$. They kept my car for close to 30 days with no progress and then came up with the theory of rodent damage after which they put everything on my insurance including rental car. This was absolutely unknown to me as they ddnt give me full disclosure on this. When I told SA that I need to talk to insurance, they immediately resorted to threatening tactics by having the rental agency call me in 2 minutes asking for payment on rental car. Funny enough, there was no payment pending in their system when I returned the rental car next day. So it was easily a play by SA & his friend from Hertz. Horrible experience with no communication from SA & cheap tactics to loot money from customers. Never recommend, never going back there!

On an oil change, walked around the mall ALL day for service that was supposed to take an hour.Told service desk about front stabilization problem during oil change and was told ask was fine. Turned out, entire front end including tie rods etc needed to be replaced.Last service, took day off to bring in vehicle only to find someone ordered the wrong parts, spent hours at mall and restaurant only to be told that.

Comment: I have a 2023 chevy Silverado 1500 diesel that I purchased from chevy last year. My father lives in Colorado and wanted to find a vehicle like mine to purchase as well. After much looking, he found one local to me at this dealership. He reached out and contacted the dealership and struck a deal with them on the truck they had in stock. He purchased airline tickets to come out in 4 days to get the truck after making the deal with this dealership. After all of this, they sold the vehicle to another customer paying more and called my dad to say tough luck on his end. I am a business owner here in the bay and have now employed my Attourney to reach out to the dealer on this issue. I have also reached out to my Corperate account rep at chevy. DO NOT TRUST THIS DEALER . I use capitol chevy in San Jose for about 5 trucks a year. They are great.

Comment: If you want to sell your car and you value your time do not bring your vehicle here. I was greated by Dominic via email and phone. We set an appointment on my off day which was on a Saturday. I get there and Domnic left but no call to warn me not to come in. Cool. I talk to him on the phone Monday and we agree to bring it Tuesday evening. I leave work early and arrive to the dealership. Now Domonic comes out totally different attitude from over the phone. He puts on this weird poker face and low balls me. Then comes back a little higher. But I was told bring your car in and I would get the highest offer around. But all I got was an auction style bidding war. I knew it was a low offer so I went across the street to Tracy Volkswagen. I text John the salesperson and worked with Chad the buyer and they gave me $2000 more then Chevy. Only took 20 minutes.And another couple did the same. Left Domonic for Tracy Volkswagen and were in and out. That’s how you run a business. No haggle. Friendly and Fast! I would definitely choose to go elsewhere.

Comment: Yesterday I visited Chevrolet in hopes to sell my 2022 Toyota Camry. I was greeted by a fellow Afghan but was then helped by Dominic. He was extremely friendly and he assisted me in getting a much higher offer than what I was offered from other dealerships including BMW, Mazda, Volkswagen, and Mercedes. Comment: As a mechanic this was the poorest service experience I have ever witnessed. To take in a vehicle for a specific reason and give me a diagnosis from a stores code from god knows when? The battery was replaced and when you have a bad 12v battery you will get some random weird codes. To say I need a 14k transmission when the vehicle was not road tested. Finding “metal” in a transmission with 113k miles is common. What’s not common is chunks and shavings. So to use a stored code and “metal” in oil to a high mileage transmission is crazy. Then charge me a diagnostic fee. I took the vehicle in because it keeps giving me a thermostat code never have I pulled a transmission code or been notified by onstar about a recurring transmission CEL. That’s the laziest way to diagnose and guess a fix. Only reason I didn’t work on the vehicle because of it being high voltage.

Comment: Service manager told me that it will take 1h or 1hr 30 min for servicing my car. So I decided to stay at the dealership. When I didn’t hear from him in 2h, I inquired and was told it will take another 1h due to many cars being there. After 1h I was told it will take another 1h. Finally I received my car after 5h. It was complete waste of my time. The service manager should have been honest about the fact that it would take time. I live 6miles from dealership and I would have gone home had he given me a right estimate. I understand he can’t be accurate but giving an estimate of 1h while it took 5h is not acceptable. Worst dealership I ever visited. Now I trust Toyota, Honda or Nissan way more than Chevy.

I bet the tear was there when I purchased vehicle. They have only one finance guy, so the waits are really LONG. I hope car buying was easy as getting groceries delivered. Disappointed with having to spend $2k for tires.

Rearrange my day and head out early to be there first thing in the morning only to find out the car sold the night before. I don’t care you sell the car but for you to have time to text me at 5 am to confirm but not have the decency and respect to text it’s sold the night before or the morning of me coming in is crazy. The sales person (Kevin Saavedra) was flaky with his availability, especially on Father’s Day weekend when I was heading over to the dealership and they decided to close early. I sold investments to have cash for the purchase and suddenly they jacked up the price by $5k even though we a lower price in writing. This dealership is shady, they lie, don’t honor agreements and have no respect for consumers. Run!!!!

Comment: Bait and switch con artists.Was watching a vehicle online(on Tracy Chevrolet dealership website, not vehicle search engine) for about a week. Was advertised at MSRP. Friday night I noticed Chevrolet was offering $750 incentive on 23 Camaro purchase. Checked Tracy Chevrolet website price again, it reflected MSRP w/ an additional $750 deduction. At this point I got a trade in quote on their website. Wasn’t too happy with the trade in number, but nobody ever is. The next day(Saturday) I received a call from the sales manager Sierra. I told her I wasn’t too thrilled with the trade in value they gave on my car, and would have to fall in love with the car to bring it home. She seemed pretty confident I was going to love the car and said they would do some work on the trade in value of my rare BMW M3 if I brought the car. So I set up an appointment for the agreed upon(window sticker/ website/ phone conversation price). I show up for my appointment on Sunday(Fathers day) wife, teenage kids and trade in with me. All of us were ready to drive home(over an hour away) in a new car. Took a quick look at the car on the showroom floor while I waited for Sierra. Car exceeded my expectations and just as it should have the window sticker stated sale price as MSRP (obviously printed before the Chevrolet $750 incentive). Then I look at the driver side of windshield and spot a random piece of printer paper that says $5000 markup taped to it.When Sierra arrived, I asked her about the random printer paper. She replied “ that has been there since yesterday”. To which I replied “before or after you made my appointment? She had no reply except that the car has the rare 1LE package, which she knew was the reason I was thinking of purchasing the car in the first place. That $7500 package was on the car before it left the factory. Package was on the car before they printed the window sticker(which has 1LE package priced at $7500) that should state dealer markup. We were both well aware the package was on the car when I made the appointment.Obviously someone thought they had a fish on and could get away with throwing $5000 on top. They couldn’t even be bothered to print another window tag to at least try to fool me into thinking somebody along the chain of command made a mistake. Not that a mistake could have been made being Sierra’s desk where she booked my appointment is 3 foot away from the car, the MSRP sale price window sticker and the random piece of paper adding 5k to the price. The similar Camaro convertible right next to it had no random printer paper and was also still priced MSRP(no markup).I know they will reply to this saying there was some sort of mistake or misunderstanding on my part, but that is NOT the case. I have bought many high demand cars that have a dealer markup due to limited availability and dealer markup is always stated in the window sticker, most likely by law.Don’t waste your time like my family and I did on Father’s Day.The window sticker insuring every consumer gets the same price obviously means nothing at Tracy Chevrolet.

Comment: Communication was an issue! I purchased a part for a seat panel, since my old panel fell off. My motor stopped working at the same time, thougt it was connected. However, the service department installed the part without even giving me a call to find out if I wanted the motor repaired. I found this to be odd, as service departments always call to let you know what they find wrong with your vehicle and to encourage you to take care of all of the issues and spend a little more. I had to keep my car there overnight to be repaired. Had to put my dog down on the same day. This made for a very stressful Tuesday!!!! ....I had not been to your service department in years, but my husband convinced me to return since he just bought a new Chevy Camero.

Comment: I bought a 2016 Acura MDX with 86K miles on the odometer. After a couple of days I had some concerns about the transmission and how it didn’t feel like it was shifting right. I went in and Matt from service told me to take it to Acura of Pleasanton myself. I’m a little peeved because I’m having to go out of my way after less than a week of ownership. I drop the car off to Acura and it took them 1 hour to find that the car was leaking oil from the oil pump, the driver side strut was leaking oil, the car had an open recall on it just to name a few. Pretty safe to say that Tracy Chevrolet does not inspect any used vehicle they sell based on other reviews I’ve read on here, and this experience. Thanks for taking my money and selling me a problem. I have yet to have driven it 100 miles with a little over a week of ownership. Worst vehicle purchase I’ve ever had. BEWARE!

Comment: Did not have a good experience yesterday at Tracy Chevrolet. I had made an appointment through the mychevy app and was set. My husband and I dropped the car off at the appointment time and was told it would take 2 hours. No problem. we stayed in town, had lunch, etc. At this point, it had been 3 hours, so I called 3x with no answer. We went to the dealership and noticed My car was in the exact same spot where i left it. They informed us that after 3 hours (after being told 2) my car was still not touched. No one called to keep us updated or anything. Of course thats when they said they would try to squeeze my car in then.. The worst part is, for some reason, when I got back into my car, there was an apple charger in my car hooked up. I dont even have an apple phone, so now I have someones charger. So now Im going to have to take a day off and reschedule my service. So disappointing.

Comment: We dropped off our car the night before for service at 7:30am the following morning. We didnt get a phone call about the car status by 9:30am so we called. We didnt get an answer on the first 3 tries. When we got thru to someone the forwarded our message to a voicemail box. After hours of not getting a return call we decided to travel the 17 miles to the dealership to pick up the car. We got there at 12:30pm. When we arrived we were told that it needed a repair and that it would take 2 1/2 hours and that there would be an additional charge. We were very upset to find this out after we had tried many times to get an ETA over the phone and went there personally.

Comment: I made an appointment for 8AM and had to wait until 11 for my oil change to be completed. I understand they were down 1 tech, but there was no alternative options for me as a customer. No shuttle service, anything. For those of us who work all week and long hours at that, Saturday mornings are literally the only option to get a basic service like this, and for it to take 3 hours is unacceptable. That was extra time I could not spend with my son, who I barely see during the week.I also noticed a large amount of 8AM appointments in the waiting room, more appointments than there would have been techs to begin with. It made me question whether my 8AM appointment would have started at 8AM to begin with. This was my complimentary oil change. I had a good purchase experience with this dealership, and up to this point an overall good service experience. While people were nice and not rude to me, this particular experience was below standard in comparison to other experiences with this dealer.

Had to immediately take it back to the dealership to get checked out. Still have not heard from them on status of car. At this point I will likely never buy another vehicle from this dealership. If I had another option for repairs, I would take it to that dealership to get work done. I am sure they will come back and say something else needs to be repaired and it will cost me more.

They went out of their way to get me some info and never bothered to look back at the time. It wasnt even their dept I needed info from, AND it was a FRIDAY! Sadly, I didnt get their names, but it was last week, Friday, Oct 7 th I believe. The gentleman in Service, Todd I believe, also impressed me with his willingness to answer and further explain a few things to me I didnt know about my Equinox. The eqmt report was SOOO equally as helpful, and Im so glad I finally got! Wished I lived near this location; what a difference from my 2 hometown Chevy dealers. Someone hires great staff here! Comment: Appointment scheduling went well. vehicle was ready when expected. services were oil change, tire rotation, and leak detection on specific tire pointed out to representative while conducting walk around prior to leaving vehicle at dealership.problems with service:1. when picking vehicle up, i noticed the same tire that had low psi (passenger rear) was still low. walked back in to ask if the leak was detected and to point out the tires were not rotated. representative asked me to park car and dealership would get service technician to look again and make sure tires were rotated and leak was not missed.2. service technician serviced car again as i watched. service technician told me tires were rotated and there was no leak. i responded saying it is more than a coincidence that the same low tire was still low after the original rotation. either tires werent rotated or the tms did not learn the latest reset. he assured me everything was done correctly. asked him to perform leak detection and tms reset again. he did.3. he found a nail in a tire. he apologized for not checking for a leak the first time. he also said nail in tire could not be fixed. the tire that should have been taken from passenger rear should have been rotated to driver front in an x pattern rotation but he simply rotated to passenger front. he then re-learned the tms and low tire now showed in front passenger, where the nail was detected. by the time all this was done i had to pick up my kids.4. I asked him to refill the low tire with the nail in it, turn the car over, and i would now have to reschedule an additional day to fix the nail, and get the tires properly rotated elsewhere because i new it was repairable. it was not in the side wall or near the edge of the sidewall. sure enough, i took the vehicle to another shop, they detected the nail, repaired it, rotated the tires correctly, and re set the tms all correctly the first time.5. that entire process with the service technician was ridiculous. it was obvious the tech did not look for any leak, did not rotate the tires correctly, and did not double check the tms reset. it was a waste of time and frustrating trying to explain this to him.6. service desk was great but tech came off as lazy and was willing to waste customers time.7. please respond.

My credit union requires a front and back copy of the title to wire funds and Teddy Viray (product specialist) sent a copy of the title that hadnt been signed. My credit union told me he stopped responding to them when they requested a signed copy so they could transfer funds.I tried to contact the dealership to get the sale back on track and they refuse to speak to me. I called multiple times and everyone who answered said they would have Teddy call me back but he never did. I called and spoke to Adam (General Manager) on Saturday and he said he would have Teddy call me back and he never did. Tried calling again today and the salesman said the best he could do was put me through to a voicemail.Extremely unprofessional and frustrating as I was so excited for the car. Comment: The oil change was scheduled in the early afternoon (1 p.m.). Upon arrival, my wife was informed it would be 2 to 2.5 hours. She agreed as she didnt have anywhere to be until 4:30 and this would have left her plenty of time. The oil change was not completed until approx 4:30 p.m. and she had to complain at 2.5 hours to get it in because it was still outside. She was due to pick me up at the airport and I had to wait. This isnt a one time thing. The dealership routinely takes 2 to 3 hours for a scheduled oil change. There are several solutions but the most simplistic one would be stop scheduling so many oil changes. If you are running late on appointments, you really need to call people and let them know its going to take half a day for an oil change. I am not sure how this even makes sense to you as a business. This isnt the workers fault. This is clearly a complete failure by management to manage. Maybe after this complaint you will take a long hard look at your business practice and get it straightened out. An oil change appointment should be 1 hour. Get this figured out.

Comment: Chevy Bolt 2020 - 1st service, 2500 miles. It took longer time to deliver the vehicle after service. Others who had given service after me were able to get theirs sooner.Even the issues I reported are still there.Driver seat moves when accelerating and breaking if its slightly on a higher speed / torque.Even though I was told that the battery capping is at 90% of total capacity, out of 250 - 10% is 25, When battery is fully charged - I get max of 160 Miles ? Why? when I ask, I am told to wait till battery replacement. Did I get the vehicle to drive only 160 miles ? Having several challenges and service didnt fix the issue!

The way he talks is as if he is giving a charity.More importantly he lied on many things. First he quoted an amount based on the car fax. Later when I went to the showroom, he says I can’t give that amount as the car fax is not good. Later he says what if no one buys your car. We ordered a vehicle, but it still took us over 3 hours to go over paperwork and financing.Since we ordered the vehicle, we assumed there wouldnt be much negotiations, but they tried to mark up the vehicle pretending as if they didnt know it was a special order and threw in a few others way to try to gauge us in pricing.Our sales person, Kevin was great throughout, but in the end, we still left feeling stressed. Comment: On Friday November 12, dropped off the car at 8 am, batteries were replaced in a timely manor and I picked up the car by 4 pm. All was well until I fully charged the car overnight on November 13. I then saw an battery alert that I needed to bring it back for service. Monday morning, November 15, I brought the car back to Service at 7:30 am. Service took the car right away and fixed it. I left service by approx 8:45 am. This was longer than the 30 minutes I was told, however with other customers dropping off their cars, it was difficult for Service desk staff to stop helping others and give me the keys. This is understandable. After driving the car for 4 days, there have been no further alerts and I believe the new batteries have approx 40 miles better range now. Would have preferred to not need to bring the car back on Monday morning, but overall I am very pleased with the service.

I told them the amount I wanted and they said something in the effect of Come on down, lets have a look at it. I told the internet manager that I live a hour away and did not want to waste my time. They assured me they wouldnt. Long story short I drive to Tracy and they offer me less than the original offer because it was registered in Utah for 1 year and there was a chance of future rust. The internet manager had my Vin from day one. Are you saying he couldnt look at the vin before I drove out there? Worst experience with these people. They had the nerve to message me again after I sold the car to ask if it was still available. SMH Pathetic.

Comment: The truck we wanted was not detailed in the slightest and had a dirty yellow microfiber towel in the back seat and carpet was noticeably dirty, seats were dirty, dash had dirt and dust everywhere, the tailgate was beat up, but I didn’t mind because I could get it redone and cleaned. Still Unprofessional though.They were not upfront with a decal that was covering at least a 4” crack on the front side of the bumper.Dealer gave an initial offer for trade in value and then went back and offered $1000 less than agreed upon! Highly unprofessional again!Not to mention other dealers have offered much more money for it so I was already settling on a lower price if I were to trade in here and my trade in has 10x less miles and is 4 years newer. This was after I realized all the extra defects and lack of cleanliness on the truck I was wanting to trade for.I wanted the truck because I needed a larger vehicle for my family and I didn’t mind the issues with the truck as I could fix them, but then to offer me a lower amount on my trade in was again, unprofessional. Comment: I am a traveling nurse and was traveling from Southern California to seattle when my check engine light came on in my 2020 Silverado. I was pulling a travel trailer as well. When I got there, Todd helped me out, even though they were packed and had no availability, he got a mechanic to look at my truck, and even though they were not able to fix my trucks specific issue, he was able to get me back on the road, fixed a recall on my truck, and got me a 30 day free onstar membership so that if something happened on my way, I would have a way of getting my truck and trailer to another dealership. He even called me later that day, to check on me and see how the truck was running! Truly, so thankful for everything he did and going out of his way! Need more people like this in the world!

Comment: Be wary of their internet price. If I could give 0 stars, I would. On 8/4/2021, I noticed they were offering a 2021 Silverado TrailBoss online for an awesome price of $47k. I called the dealership and spoke with sales woman named Poonam asking her to confirm the price of $47k before I drive from Sacramento to see the truck. She confirmed the price with her manager and even asked me if I was a Costco member since it would knock of an additional $500 to $1000. She asked me when I can come down and I told her I would be there at 2 PM. I ended up arriving early and spoke with the Internet sales manager named Teddy. To keep a long story short, Teddy did the trade-in assessment for my truck and proceeded to put together the numbers. This is where everything went downhill. The numbers that he provided on his sheet was way off to what Poonam confirmed. When I asked him why numbers were so different and showed him the internet price he was quick to say it was a “typo”. Typo?!? I confirmed with one of his coworkers who also confirmed with their manager earlier that morning.I wasn’t trying to lowball them, I just wanted the price they listed not including any taxes or fees. Personally, I think the price was to get people in the door. An hour and half drive there and two hour drive back in traffic for nothing. If anyone from Tracy chevrolet here’s this, you need to honor the price your advertised price.I would definitely shop somewhere else if you are in the market for a Chevrolet truck. These people are dishonest. As of 4pm on 8/4/2021, the price is still showing $47k.

I decided to call tracy Chevrolet, lady I spoke say they where behind to but they will be able to diagnose my car at the end of day, was early morning. Was hard to get of hold of the service department guy that was in charge of my car, never answered call always voice mail and sometimes will return call after hours and sometimes did not receive a call back, also ask to talk to service manager, transfer 2 times to voice mail and never call me backTook 3 days for diagnose my car. Day before on the morning they had told me they had 3 person on front of me. I dont think it take the long for 3 cars.I think they should have people to diagnose and people to work on cars.Also I belive the diagnose they gave me was not really right. They told me it was my transmission and if I wanted to drop transmission and just inspect more will be $1,500 for farther diagnose. No check engine light. My suv dont shake all the time to say is transmission, my opinion is more like program. In the pass it was doing the same think and shop program computer and it went away for couple years. Comment: I took my truck there as a walk-in (yes, without appointment) on Saturday (10/5/19). I brought it in to diagnose my check engine light and replace a taillight bulb. My truck has now been there 9 days and I have not received a single call. I am a repeat customer if that means anything. I actually called for the 1st time on last Friday 10/11/19 to inquire about my trucks status (this was 7 days after dropping it off). I used the phone prompts to get to service department, phone kept ringing then transferred me to the front desk. I asked to be transferred to service dept and told her nobody had answered. She transferred me back and again nobody answered the phone in service. Now it’s Monday morning 10/14/19 (again, 9 days later) and I’m still waiting to hear what the diagnosis is. Pretty unbelievable.... Comment: I would not recommend this dealership at all. I had a terrible experience with the salesman Valentino and the fincance man while buying my truck there. I bought my truck from this dealership about 3 months ago.My experience was that they do pressure you alot. When I was about to test drive the truck someone came out and said that someone was coming to see the truck in 20 minutes. When we were signing the papers the Valentino kept saying that there were people for the truck. I had been looking at this truck online for a couple of weeks so that pressure was not necessary. However, that was not the worst part. I agreee on the price of the truck only. Signed paper work and went home.When I got home I looked at my contract and the price on the contract was about $10k more than the original price of the truck. I realized that there was a couple of warranties added to the final price as well as a paint protection and other items that were never discussed with me. I went back the next day to see if I could cancel some of the warranties because I never wanted any of them and they were never discussed with me. I talked to the finance man and he was completely rude. He said that I was trying to take advantage of the system because he had given me a lower interest rate. I told him that I wanted to cancel them because all those upgrades were added without informing me. Finally, he canceled a few things. Im still stuck with a couple of things they secretly added.Im writting this review now because I started hearing loud noises when I would brake so I took the truck to a GMC dealership near me. This dealership told me I needed new brakes. I driven the truck for less than 2500 miles and they brakes needed replacement already eventho the paperwork Valentino showed me showed that everything was good with the truck. I would definitely tell people to avoid purchasing a vehicle here or just be extremely cautious.

The condescending service advisor said with a wash my vehicle would be ready in an hour and 15 minutes to an hour and half. In all it took two hours for an oil change. For the $83+ I’m paying for my service and doing my part being on time I expect better customer service. Comment: When I purchased my last car at another dealership (not this one), there was no user manual in the vehicle. I asked them to send me one as part of the deal. They did it right away and it has proven very useful. Tracy Chevrolet, on the other hand, clearly didnt care about me as a customer once I started the paperwork. They tried to throw in a few hidden fees and then even after all of that, they didnt offer any advice to the key being incorrect and the manual being absent. The cheapest place to buy one is for 160 dollars on eBay. They could have gotten one wholesale a lot cheaper from the manufacturer. I was very disappointed. The car is great, but the service was only enough to get me to the car, then they ditch you and are unwilling to bend at all. MOST UNHELPFUL.P.S. Fernando is a great man and a good salesperson, but the dealership as a whole needs to learn to HELP the customer, not just sell the customer. Its a good thing I do my own maintenance and wont need to go back there.

Comment: Well i have been a GM fan for many years and had matching bow ties in my driveway. I have always wanted a Corvette so i finally bought one. 4 months in the car started making a noise. I took it in on a Friday without an appointment and was told there would not be a tech to look at it till Monday and to bring it back. I dropped it off Monday and asked for a loaner that was sporty(well i got a Suburban not the same) I read all of the reviews and when you call service you cant get an answer(or anyone really). I call daily now(3 weeks in) and my car was supposed to be done before Christmas and the day after Christmas i was told they needed to order a snap ring now WTH but it would be 5-7 days to get a snap ring I actually had to ask can you overnight it? they are tiny and light and at this point would pay for it myself. They had to get some type of approval, but i actually got a call back and they said they would have the part tomorrow and it would be finally done(that was yesterday) i called today as normal and i got a voice recording like normal so i just left a message asking if it would be done. im writing this 2 hours later cause no call back. I did contact GM and they are looking at trading me out at this point for my poor service experience. I got to say I have recommended this dealership many times and bought my last 4 plus vehicles there($200K worth) just my 2 cents read reviews before you spend your hard earned money there. And reading the responses from them on Google when people go this far to write a review they do not want to have to call you they just want to be taken care of.

I left 2 1/2 hours after an expensive oil and fuel filter change, they didnt inspect my fluids, my tires, or top off or add air. My brother whos a vet went there bought a used car within two weeks of having it he had to take it to be serviced for computer issues. He got it back and the noise that it was making when we first picked the car up had gotten worse the noise that they told us was perfectly fine because it passed all of its inspections. hes now had the car for two months and continues to make monthly payments for a car he cant drive while hes having a new engine put in it. When we purchased the car it had a small dent on the drivers side and the bracket for the licences plate holder was missing. They assured us that these minor issues would be corrected, but we got the run around. They couldnt find the paperwork and would say they would call us back, but if course they didnt. After numerous calls and getting firm they finally set an appointment to take care of the issues mentioned above.Upon arrival at the dealership I got the run around about the licence plate holder. The miles was 7077 on the odometer, contract says a little over 4000. Get a call a month later telling me to come in and sign a new contract for a used vehicle. No explanation to why it is being changed. They also never gave us our temporary registration for two months, I had to go in there and ask for it, and ask why we havent got our tags and registration in the mail. Again, no explanation. Just tells me the tags were paid for. They give me a temp registration for my window that says used. Obviously it is not used when i signed a new vehicle contract. Hmmmm something sounds shady! I think they are holding my tags and registration until i sign this new contract. Their customer service is awful. They never return your calls and the tall guy with the glasses was very rude and disrespectful!! They obviously do not care about their customers!!! Comment: We are from San Diego and have had all of our 2013 Tahoe maintenance done at Courtesy Chevrolet. We recently relocated. When my Tahoe started making a loud noise I wanted to take it to a Chevrolet dealership for the work to be done. Tracy was the closest. I made an appointment and took it in. Turned out my bearings needed to be replaced $2100. I was called two days later and told the front differential couldn’t be taken apart to do the work. That they would have to rebuild my front end. Now work would be $5300. Then called a couple days later to be told that Chevrolet no longer makes parts for our 2013 Tahoe and that they need to find a rebuilt front end to put our vehicle back together. Four weeks later we finally got our Tahoe back. They did not charge us for the additional work. We only ended up paying the $2100. Which I feel strange about. Definitely appreciate it, but why would they charge us so little for so much work unless they messed up big time. When I went to go pick up my car. It was dirty and I have tape all over my window. Get in the car and my dash is cracked!!! I went in and spoke to the Service Manager and he told me Chevrolet is notorious for their dashes cracking and asked me what I wanted him to do about it? Well Mr. Ford just like you expect your courtesy cars returned not damaged, that’s how I expect to get my vehicle back. He said he would research what happened and get back to me. I’m still waiting for a response. I would never ever go back to this dealership. I do not feel confident in the vehicle I got back. What else is damaged that I can’t see? We drive back and forth to San Diego and I need a vehicle I feel confident my family will be safe in. I no longer have that. Thanks a lot Tracy Chevrolet!

One day My Grandson & I were driving back home to the Bay Area and he decided to stop a Tracy Chevrolet, and boy am I glad he did. We were greeted by a wonderful gentleman by the name of Albert. My Grandson explained to Albert my situation and what I was looking for. Albert was patient, understanding and most of all kind. He showed my Grandson & I Few Corvette that they had there, but there was one that really caught my Grandson & my attention, it was the 2019 Chevrolet Corvette GrandSport. My Grandson was able to sit with him and work some numbers and came to a reasonable price. I told Albert that I had to play with some numbers and I will get back to him in a few days. Albert & Ian completely understood, they did not call me constantly, or pressure me at all. They allowed me to take my time to think things over. So after about a week I told my Grandson that That was the car I want, so he called Ian and told Ian that we would be down that weekend to pickup the vehicle, and thats what Happened. Comment: Buying this vehicle was the hardest transaction I have ever had to deal with in purchasing a car. I had a large amount of cash (over half of the vehicle cost) and financing pre-approved. I have purchased several new vehicles over the years and never have I been treated as if my business did not matter in such a repeated fashion. I could not get a return call from these people. Their promises of calling back in an hour NEVER happened and after 5 hours I would be calling them again. I swear they were playing a game of avoid my number because when I finally called on my husbands phone they called back within 1 minute This was after 5-6 times of trying to call within a few hours one night. They can see your number if you call, even if you hang up. (Like a cell phone) Even their operators would not answer, it was bizarre. Unfortunately, this happened at all levels of service. Management was great when I actually talked tot hem but, again, I would not get a phone call and was left stressed out trying to reach them before they left for the day.E-mails where just as bad. I do not think I had a return e-mail ONCE and I sent several. After I sent an e-mail to the Gen Manager I got a reply that someone would be contacting me and they did. But, that e-mail arrived after 2 days of no contact from anyone. By this time I was rather angry and sent the e-mail because they had wasted my time. Keep in mind, I was REALLY TRYING to buy from them and I thought I had made that fact abundantly clear from the first phone call and jumping through their hoops of sending docs etc. immediately when they asked. I told them I was not playing games and I wasnt. I eventually did end up with the 2018 Tahoe LT 4X4 I wanted from them but, for a $50,000+ transaction I would have appreciated/expected the courtesy of a return phone call. Honestly, if I had been able to find the interior color and features of the vehicle I wanted (which they had) anywhere within a 8 hour drive, I would have made the drive and paid a couple thousand more to save the hassle and stress. I even checked into flying places to buy one and drive it back. They had really ticked me off, but I was ready to buy! Great vehicle and price but, horrible in customer relations/service. Please note, I was not physically standing in the dealership and that made it very easy for them to stroke me along. However, I have bought 4 vehicles in the same manner and it was always really simple. I usually get the dealers best price, dont haggle and agree to pay, I sign purchase agreement and return it with the money and get the vehicle. If you have the chance to work with Paul Botello directly he seemed to be knowledgeable. But, you will still have to wait for phone calls as he is a manager. This place must be crazy busy at all hours of the day.By the way, Tracy did honor their price match to Petaluma Chevy, who if you decide to call them ask for Greg, he was courteous and returned phone calls as promised.I do like my new Tahoe.

I told him I was here with a family member he frowned, turned and walked off without saying another word. The young man I was with decided to purchase a car from Tracy Chevrolet. At the time of signing the paperwork he noticed the payments were higher than what he had calculated. After carefully going over all the documentation, he found that he was being charged for an extended warranty he had expressed earlier that he did not want. The financing person stormed out in a huff and treated us poorly after that. I give them three stars because he did find a good car at a fair price. Sidenote: the other two dealerships treated me like I was buying a car. They were consistently friendly, offered me water (it was a hot day), and answered questions about cars I was curious about. None of these things happened at Tracy Chevrolet.

Comment: Called and made an appointment. Got there and Darius was our salesman. They made sure we had water and were comfortable since it was 100 degrees outside. Darius did a great job showing us trucks. Helped us get one that fit our needs. We bought a 2015 Silverado. Fabio was awesome getting everything done that needed to done to the truck. Sales manager and everyone there was great. They made it a great experience. I will go back for all my car and truck needs. Now I have 2 2015 Chevrolets in my garage. Thanks Tracy Chevrolet

Comment: Went into the dealer to buy a vehicle that I had seen on the website. Cindy Banning the Internet Sales Manager was very helpful and very professional. She took the time and showed me different vehicles/explained the benefits of the different models and took me for a test drive so that I could buy the vehicle that would suit my needs. That day I drove off in the car that I was sure to enjoy. Thank you Tracy Chevrolet for having a professional employee whom cares about the customer and not just sells you a vehicle.

Comment: Hi,My experienced at Tracy Chevrolet was good, the service manager was polite and offered to fix my current problems for which he fixed them with a great service, but as first time buyer of a GMC/Chevrolet vehicle I wanted to get more details about the current status of my vehicle at 16000 miles and/or get recommendations or offers to keep it in good shape. I guess I wanted to get more out of them, but I was limited to only received what I ask for.Keep up the good job.

Comment: Weve been using the service department since we bought a used Traverse elsewhere 2 years ago, and were very impressed with everyone in Service (Todd, Ryan, Dave & Fabiola, to name a few). We bought a new Malibu from the Sales department a month ago and were equally impressed (Tom and Stacy get pats on the back). The purchase experience was low stress, and they got us a better interest rate than even our Credit Union was offering. They worked for us!

Comment: I’ve been going to Tracy Honda for over 10 years to service my vehicle. I went in for a standard oil change. I was texted that my vehicle needed additional services. I approved the services that I wanted completed and was told that my vehicle is being worked on and my service rep would contact me when it was done. The day went on and I hadn’t heard back. When I called, I found out that the service department was closed and that I would have to call back Saturday morning to find out the status of my vehicle. (I had plans Saturday that I had to rearrange because of this). When I called in the morning, I was told that my vehicle was ready. So I rushed to pick it up. When I picked it up and tried paying for the services, I noticed that the total was lower than I expected. I asked if they completed the additional service only to find out that they hadn’t even started on it. The agent told me that he sees the approval, but didn’t know why it wasn’t not done. Obviously I was furious, I went ahead and payed for the oil change because I was already late for my other plans and I couldn’t leave me vehicle behind again. Now I have to figure out when I can go back again and have the additional service completed. Very disappointing.
