I had located the bike I wanted at their store, Brian held on to it for me with a deposit, and they had it ready for me today when I made the 60 mile drive to pick it up. Brian also helped set it up for me with a few optional items I wanted - Garmin Radar, Storage Bag, Phone Holder, Different Pedals, Etc. From the very 1st time I entered the store the people in there were so helpful and not pushy. They love to cycle and it shows. They are all very knowledgeable and professional. I was a part of the family even though I was just looking. Long story short if I had a word that was better than incredibly amazing/ outstanding/incredible/off the hook great I would use that word. From Jacob to Matt to Brian and Paul to Danny and everyone else. They areoutstanding. I bought my dream bike then I didnt like the color. No big deal they found me a different bike that is now my end all dream bikes. Buy from them and you will be happy. By the way Trek makes the best bikes from stiff to to an easier ride. Comment: A couple of weeks ago I bought a new pair of gravel tires for my bike. After I installed the tires It rode really rough and bouncy and was hell on a 50 mile ride last week. I took it to the Trek shop and reported the problem with the tires. They took my bike in right away and replaced the tires and tubes while I waited. No questions were asked. The service technician apologized for the defect in the tire I had purchased. This is not the first time I have been to this store. Every time I came away appreciating their courteous service.

Comment: Friendly service! When we walked in, we were immediately greeted and asked if we had any questions. I really liked that the price is were on most of the products. All the bikes were laid out logically with Ebikes on one side and typical bikes on the other. Price is ranged from about $600 for typical bikes to $3000 For beautiful e-bikes. There was plenty of parking. The store was not very busy and had lots of staff on hand for questions. It was a very approachable experience.

Comment: Trek Domane+ SLR7. I am a senior and have been riding road bikes ever since I was a kid. I decided to look into en ebike to preserve my legs for more years of climbing. I went to Trek Bicycle Westlake Village and Brian was very helpful in assisting me. At that time there was a Domane+ SLR6 available. He explained all the features of the ebike and arranged for me to take it on a road test and even provided me directions on where to ride. I liked and enjoyed how it rides. The bike is very comfortable and relaxed position. I decided to order the Domane+ SLR7. It only took 4 days to order and assemble the bike. Brian called me right away as soon as the bike is ready for pickup. The next day, I rode it to the Snake in Mulholland and then to Encinal Cyn. Due to the Domane+ is light for an ebike, I was able to climb the Snake without pedal assist. I turned on the motor when I got to Santa Susana Pass in Simi. Its a natural feeling when you stand up on the pedals during climbs. I am very impressed on how the motor assist your pedaling and have a natural feel. TQ motor is very quiet and shifting is very smooth. The bike is very stable on decent and in corners. With size 32 tires I didnt even feel much of the bumps and rough roads. When I got home I still have 85% left on the battery. No regrets. Thanks Brian for the great customer service.

Comment: Last week I took a fall to my right, misaligning the back derailer. Today, I took my Trek to Trek Bicycle in Westlake to have the misalignment repaired. Jeremy, the mechanic on duty, assessed the problem, & discovered that I had actually broken the little insert that attaches to the derailer. Fortunately he had the insert in stock. He replaced the insert, used a special jig to make sure the wheel & derailer were aligned, & took a test ride. He charged me $18 for the part, no labor charged. I fully expected to pay fifty bucks for his expertise & labor, & would not have complained. Kudos to Jeremy & Trek Bicycle Westlake.Don Glynn

The bicycle I wanted to buy was in another shop. Comment: Customer Satisfaction is Their Top-Priority!!5 Stars are simply NOT ENOUGH!!! Multiply that by 3 and you would be closer (15 Stars!!!). I actually drove 50 MILES (one way) to get to their OUTSTANDING bicycle center. I was having a mechanical issue with my bike while out riding on a Saturday morning. I saw the Westlake Village Trek service van parked on PCH in Trancas to support an organized ride they were having. Long story short, their technician DJ offered to see if he could repair my rear brake/hub combo to keep me riding................and I wasnt even part of their group!!! His expertise allowed me to complete a 50 mile ride without sustaining what surely would have been a mechanical failure in the middle of nowhere. I was so impressed by DJs willingness to help I drove the 50 miles from the South Bay to Westlake Village to have their technicians fully address my bikes mechanical issues. I was immediately impressed by the size, cleanliness, organization and how well stocked their bicycle center is. I have been in a dozen or so bike stores in the Los Angeles area and this the only one I would call a BIKE SUPERSTORE!!! I checked in my bike with DJ and the next day Dalton (another technician who is playing hurt due to a volleyball injury) called to provide status on the work order. We discussed some servicing options and he said he would come in the next day at 7AM to finish the work before noon. When I went in at noon I was able to meet Danny the store manager and Dalton the technician who worked on my bike. My bike was completed on time and Dalton even performed some delighters to correct assembly errors from another Trek store.Danny, Dalton and DJ all provided me an OUTSTANDING experience with Westlake Village Trek. They provided me with thorough, efficient, professional servicing of my Trek Domane with an INCREDIBLE bike store experience. They truly cared about my bike and my customer satisfaction. I also thought their pricing was fair for the amount of work performed. If/when I have a need for servicing, gear purchases, or another bike my first stop will be Westlake Village Trek.Oh, and after your visit, head to The Stonehaus for some food and drink!!!

Comment: Having never owned a bike that was not from a box store, when I thought I was ready I shopped for a bike for a while. I did online research and I went to many bike shops. At most of these shops, I was either ignored or treated like a sub-human for not knowing about bikes. Then I happened upon the Trek store in Westlake Village. Great first impression as I entered the store, I was greeted by not one but two employees welcoming me into the store. Then I confessed that I had no idea what I was looking for but wanted a bike for fitness. I was shown the various levels of bikes and what the features were. Then I was asked if I wanted to try a few out (not one other store did this). I rode several bikes in the back parking lot and ended up choosing the amazing Dual Sport 3. The bike was also a really good value (lots of research on my part) for the money. I have returned to the store for service on 2 occasions, (free 30 day tune/tighten & broken chain) where each time I was greeted immediately and had the service done quickly and professionally. This shop has earned my business with kindness, good bikes and great people (Kudos to upper management as this is rare these days).

Comment: Retail with an attitude. Warranty is a major problem if not purchase in the store. Their employees have no authority, everything hinges on a cantankerous manager. Even if you provide serial number and date of purchase, they will not honor the warranty. Youre better served to go to another Trek retailer, like Ventury Trek or Michaels Bicycles, much friendlier.Part Two, one week later.1. the owner said that he/she would contact me, NO CONTACT, a week later. 2. Danny, the spiteful manager accused my best friend of cheating the system, and when denied, Danny went into a tirade about my poor review and that a computer print was necessary, even though they had my ser# and sales receipt. I got my warranty replacement, no questions asked from Michaels Bicycles, very nice. Youd think that even though I did not buy my Trek Madone at Westlake, they would treat me better, I spend about 3k on average for accessories and parts. I will never go there again, nor will I recommend the store anybody. I love my Trek Madone.4 months later and no contact, they just DONT CARE

Comment: It is very easy to write a good review when everything goes smoothly, but quite another when things dont go according to plan. It is very unusual these days for a company to make a mistake and then not only apologize, but do everything they can to fix it. That is what makes Trek Westlake special. I needed a wheel re-spoked and there were several delays that were out of their control. They finally promised it on a certain day after several weeks of delays. They are about an hour from my house and before I drove up there, I called to make sure. Matt had guaranteed that it would be ready that day, but when I called it was not ready and would be another day. I had hoped to ride over the memorial day weekend and due to work was not going to be able to go get it until after the weekend. Without my asking, Matt offered to deliver it to my house the next day. When I got home from work, there it was all fixed. I have always used Trek Westlake because of the friendliness of their staff, but this was above and beyond. It really shows the character of a company that they will make things right. Although it is a little far from my house, count me as a very loyal customer.

Nobody had bikes available anymore because of the pandemic, they’d become very popular and because of the pandemic too, supply was inconsistent. Trek Westlkake were able to get me exactly the right bike for my daughter, for the right price and in a reasonable time frame. Comment: First off, Trek has great bikes which is why they get 2 stars and not zero. The sales here was a horrible experience. I spent over $900.00 on a bike. When I received it, it did not have the hand grips that was stated in the description. When I asked, I was told they didnt get them but the ones on it were better. They are not. It is supposed to have the ergonomic Bontrager XR Elite. Instead they are Bontrager XR Trail, which are less comfortable and $10.00 cheaper. Next, it had a universal mount on it but they didnt have the piece that mates to it for devices. When I returned a second time, I asked again about the mating piece saying a good number of their bikes in the store had this mount, but no mating part? After the employee asked the manager, one was found in a toolbox. AND I WAS CHARGED $7.00 for the part, that I should have already had. I asked these same questions at another bike store and they had both the hand grips and the universal mount, all pieces.Update: I am reducing the star rating to one.I emailed the manager one month ago per the response and have not received a reply. I visited the store for one last chance for a tire and tube issue but was told they didnt carry my tire and tried to sell me an undersized tube. No offer to order the correct ones. I visited Go Green Bicycles in Burbank who not only carried my tube and gave me a free adjustment to my bike I purchased at Westlake Trek, but also said they would honor my tire warranty if I chose to replace and order the correct one.7-30-2020: Here is the original email to the address provided in the first response. So to find my GFs perfect PF4 in blue, we needed to drive from the Bay Area to SoCal to get the perfect one.Many Trek locations wont hold bikes, and will not let you pay for it over the phone. Paying online is not an option in most cases.This location was super helpful and agreed to hold the bike for about 5 days for us so we could pick it up on the weekend. After 25 years of cycling, this was - by far and away - my most expensive bike purchase ever (and it wasnt even for me!). The team at Trek Westlake were professional, helpful and, above all, patient. They helped me track down the right bike, in the right size, in the preferred color, all within a very tight deadline in the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic. They were beyond helpful. Every time Im there, Im always greeted with a warm welcome, one that is sincere and not at all robotic. The first time I was there, I was in search for a bike, along with accessories to go with it, for daily commutes to and from my work.I was helped immediately. Jeremy fitted me with a similar bike I was looking for, gave me a test run, and picked out all the accessories I was looking for. He even offered a cheaper alternative to the bike I was seeking, even though I was set on a specific bike I was planning on special ordering, which was very thoughtful of him. After my bike had come in, he had already fitted it with the fenders I bought, so when I came to pick it up, I was all ready to go!Great experience there! Would definitely come back for all my biking needs!

Comment: Im from Santa Barbara, CA and drove all the way to Westlake to purchase the bike that no dealer in my area had in stock. Their customer service and willingness to help has lead me back several times.Recently, I planned a 70 mile E-bike ride. Needed a second bosch battery from a brick and mortar authorized dealer. Called dealers around my geographic location and was quoted a four to seven day wait time. I talked to Danny on a Monday mid-day and he had the battery for me on Wednesday mid-day. Thats a two day wait time, NOT four or seven. How come other dealers couldnt do the same for me?Great place to purchase a bike. You get very good service after the sale and questions answered.

This stores staff could not be more clear and accommodating. I struck my deal and made the trek to Westlake from the South Bay one Sunday morning. And guess what? Once I arrived at the store to purchase my FX7, I was actually given an even better price than I had bargained for, with an additional $150 store credit to boot!Dont get me wrong, these folks know what they are doing....I will certainly be back to buy more. They have lots of floor space and quite an amazing inventory, especially of mountain bikes.

As a entry level bike rider, I was really impressed with the time and patience that James had when explaining the difference in the bikes and breaking things down so I, a novice, could understand. Both Courtney and Ed were great, and the offer to deliver the bike saved me from trying to wrestle it into my vehicle which was not yet equipped with a rack.
