Trinity Health IHA Medical Group, Pediatrics - Orchard in other cities:
Wonderful staff and Wonderful doctors! After having a horrible experience with our newborn, my husband and I were referred to Orchard Pediatrics. Everyone there made my husband and I feel so much better about everything! They took wonderful care of our son and took time to answer all of our questions. We have found our sons doctors!
A very clean and professional practice with a big staff. We loved our Canton pediatrician, so when we moved to West Bloomfield and I had to find a new doctor for my toddler and newborn, I was very concerned. It took a few visits with the rest of the doctors until we found our Dr Faber. An excellent physician, attentive to details and concerns, he listens and ADVISES-NEVER forces his opinion on you. We spread out our vaccinations, we dont vaccinate against the flu and he respects our choice.-what more, he doesnt make you feel guilty about your parenting choice.I can bring one kid for a checkup, but if I have a question about the other, hell listen and check(not like another doctor in that office who told me to make an extra appointment if I want to discuss the other child)Wonderful and caring nurses too. They make vaccines seem like a breeze-very fast and efficient. We go to the office just for
The doctors are knowledgeable and the facilities are clean, which is why I have gone back. But the staff especially at the front desk and on the phone are VERY rude and unwelcoming. Not something I care to deal with when I am talking about my daughters health. I don’t like to be treated like a burden because I am trying to make an appointment. We began coming here after our doctor moved out of state, it has been a struggle to find a new one.
Both of my kids have gone here since birth. If you run into a situation where your child requires hospitalization, its reassuring that somebody from the group rounds at the hospital and your child will be seen by a doctor(s) that know him/her and your family. Wait times in office are minimal. Staff is friendly.
Would not recommend going here. Office staff is rude and theyre down to only one good doctor. They referred me out for everything without even looking at my kid (all referrals were for naught). Either they have no confidence in their abilities or are so afraid of liability that they cant even do their jobs. And now that I want to leave theyre charging me to get my childs records.
Before we had our daughter (our first) we sat with Dr Faber and voiced our concerns about vaccinations. He reassured us that they could be spread out instead of all of them being given en masse which put my wife and I at ease and we decided to go with orchard pediatrics because of Dr Faber.Fast forward to our daughters 2 month appointment. The week before, friends of ours ended up in the emergency room after their daughter started convulsing and had a fever of 105 from her shots (different pediatrician) so we are obviously worried. My wife tells Dr. Fisher that shes not comfortable getting the shots on that day because our daughter will be with a baby sitter and we want to spread them out. Dr. Fisher proceeds to lecture my wife on how to raise OUR child and the case of our friends is 1 in a million.2 weeks later we get a letter from the office that says We feel it would be best for you to find another pediatrician for your childI understand the need for shots and their importance for our daughter, and trust me Dr Fisher, I care more for my daughters health then you do. You are not only a horrible doctor but a horrible person. I hope you dont treat all your patients like this or you will be out of business as there are plenty of other pediatricians out there to choose from.
If you choose to go here I suggest seeing Dr.Faber. In my opinion he is the only Doctor there who knows how to properly address your concerns. Everytime my daughter saw one of the female doctors no matter what other conditions we were there for they would address her weight. To the point where that was their only concern, forget what we actually came there for. My child came home looking at her belly constantly in the mirror, sucking it in and questioning how she looked. SHE IS 9 YEARS OLD AND STILL GROWING. So finally we were able to see Dr.Faber. It was a blessing and joy. He talked to her like she was a growing human being they discuss nutrition together and made her feel apart of a health plan and not A DIET. I was on my way to finding a different peds office until I meet him. Under no circumstances will I ever see any of the female doctors again.
They read the wrong chart and gave a prescription to my daughter based on that wrong chart. Daughter asked for all vaccines to be given at the beginning of appointment and they told her she didn’t need one that she did need and created a lot of anxiety and now we need to return.

2022-05-04Update: now 3 children and still loving this practice after the change to IHA. My 4 year old loves coming to the doctor even though she knows she’ll get shots. We started seeing Orchard Pediatrics about 2.5 years ago when our daughter was around 6 mo old do to a change in location with our old peds. I was nervous to change, but we have had nothing but a wonderful experience with this group. We now have 2 children and have been fortunate to not have any significant health problems. The providers here understand that being a parent can be stressful and are always patient and kind no matter how silly Im sure some of my worries seem. I am just so happy that we have found this practice to work with us to keep our family healthy.

2020-08-06We’ve been coming to orchard pediatrics for 5 and a half years. I only have positive things to say about them. The front desk and nurses are always friendly and the doctors have so much experience and take their time to explain everything and answer questions. We Loved each and every doctor we saw there and my daughter never feared going there. Up until she is 5 she had no idea that they were giving her shots. I cannot say enough good things about this place. We simply love it!

2019-01-07Top notch! We have been with the practice since our first born in 2009. We LOVE Dr Dunn. Very easy to talk to. I think my daughters will feel comfortable with her well into their adolescent years. We have seen other providers in the office over the years and have been very happy with lol of them.Office is very accommodating for sick visits. Always clean.I highly recommend!

2020-01-24I have been in this practice for 25 years and I love the outstanding care and dedication to the patients by each and every staff member. Each appointment I feel the trust and confidence that my child is getting the best quality care and diagnosis! Each doctor takes the time to answer our questions and also our children’s. I feel like they treat every person as if they are family! And all six of my children love going there also!!! It’s a win win at Orchard Pediatrics!

2019-04-24We’ve been with Orchard Pediatrics since our daughter was born in 2015. We love the nurses and doctors. We’ve seen each of the doctors and think most are awesome. A few times I’ve even called to speak with the nurse when my daughter was real small. They were prompt, kind, and helpful. I would recommend this practice to anyone looking for kind, compassionate and knowledgable care for their children and babies. The staff, on the other hand, sometimes give wrong information concerning policy. It’s not bad enough to stop us from going here for our children though. Just make sure you remember who gave you what information.

2020-09-13We had been going to OP since the birth of our son about 18 months ago when we had Blue Cross/Blue Shield insurance. We both lost our jobs due to COVID in March and switched to Meridian (medicaid). I was happily surprised to see OP accepted our new insurance. We received an email saying that the flu vaccines are in, and to make an appointment right away.I called, stated my name, and the receptionist said “You have Meridian Insurance? We do not have any flu vaccines in right now, we will email you when we get some in.”I was confused and said “Oh, I just received an email saying to make an appointment?”Receptionist #1 said “Oh… hold on.” and gives me to receptionist #2 who tells me “Hi, I am sorry about the email. We do not have any flu shots available for medicaid patients, and we do not know when we will have any in. The flu shots are only available for our other patients.”WOWI get it, businesses have to make money. That isn’t my issue. My issue is that they have different treatment plans - UNKNOWN to their patients - based on your insurance. When they said they didn’t have any, I didn’t question it at all, like many of their trusting parents, I am sure. They could have simply said they were low on flu shots and recommended going to a Rite-Aid so that you were following the same treatment they were recommending for their other patients - BABIES - during a PANDEMIC. Flu shots aren’t hard to come by, they really don’t need to deceive people because they want to prioritize people with insurance. The receptionists are following the direction of the doctors and owners of the practice. It is a shame that this is the country that we live in, and it makes me so sad that not everyone child is given the same advice and access to care. And dont accept medicaid patients if you are secretly going to have different treatment plans to maximize a buck. These are babies and children here. So sad.

2018-04-11Weve been coming here for almost three years now. With my older child and twins that were just born. The doctors are really caring and time the time to answer questions if you have them.Weve never had to wait past our appointment time to get taken back to a room. Ive also never had to wait for a doctor longer than 15 minutes while in a room. This is the only office (for any doctor) that I have been to that runs this smoothly. We currently drive from Ferndale to this office because it is worth it.

2019-03-12My newborn has seen all four of the doctors there and they are all very warm and welcoming. The team is thorough. Dr. Clune followed up with us after hours and over the weekend after my baby had to be admitted to the hospital. The team called and made all arrangements with Beaumont for us, so that when we arrived, my babys room was already ready and paper work was done. Their service is thorough and their staff make you feel welcomed.

2019-10-09I’ve been taking my kids to orchard pediatrics for all my three boys since my oldest was born 23 years ago. All the doctors are great. We have mostly seen Dr Nadis. Justin was a great addition to the office as-well. Thank you all for being so helpful with all my kids and directing us towards the right path.
