Ordered on GrubHub, specifically asked for no tomatoes and no peppers and after waiting an hour (having the arrival time pushed back) my sandwich arrived with both. I understand mistakes happen, but considering grub hub sends all the details and it costs a lot more, it’s pretty disheartening to get something you can’t eat.
Best to go to this location when they are not in a dinner or lunch rush so that there are no mistakes on your order. If they make mistakes they will refund your order, or remake it to get it right! Customer service is good!

Tremendous chicken parm sub! Great quality and quantity for the price. Id recommend coming here to pick up some subs especially if your evening involves some beers!
The first couple of visits were cool. The subs were good. But the last few visits they kept getting my order completely wrong. And when I say completely wrong, I don’t mean it was missing a few ingredients. For example, I ordered an Italian sub, and these fools put a huge gross looking salad in the bag instead. This location needs to get it together. I only gave 3 stars for the first couple of subs I had.
I always purchase 3× the meat 🍖 footlong. 7 the first time, $18 dollar subs, it was amazing. So I returned buying one or two at a time. $18 footlong 2 times in a row given 1x the meat for a 3x the meat for a footlong?...1x the meat is $14 ..3x the meat is $18...next time Im seeing a manager..subs are definitely 👌
It a flip of a coin with this tubby I like the one on Westside better. This one ghetto sandwich dont have enough meat in them. They can t remember your order so something always missing
They do not put Tubbys sauce on their sandwiches but if you order from Grub Hub they do not give you an option to add Tubbys sauce as an additional item. All of my subs were delivered without sauce. If you are not going to include tubbys sauce with a tubbys famous, at least give the option to add it for an additional cost! Also, 2 of my 4 subs ordered arrived with no cheese.
Stopped here yesterday and boy am I glad we did! We ordered a chicken taco for me, chicken and cheddar sub for my oldest daughter, turkey and cheese sub for my son. All were made super fast by really friendly staff in a clean store. Very very delicious also especially mine. Really would love to try the pizza sub, and pizza steak and cheese subs next. Great prices too! Thx :)

Well I didnt go to this place. Actually I went to the place next door to tubbys sub shop. But Im pretty sure they have good food. For the heck of it, Im going to give a good score.

The customer service was terrible. The woman was counting her drawer because there was an issue. Ok fine, I get that. But she had an attitude with ME for NOTHING. I was visiting from Nashville and wanted to get a sandwich and I really should have went somewhere else. I will NOT be back to this location next time in in town.

Food really wasnt good, the counter service was terrible. Spent most of the time while waiting for food listening to them figure out lost and messed up orders and blaming others. Somehow hygiene standards dont apply here. I watched a lady take cash and go back to making this customers food without washing hands or any use of gloves. Let just say I wont return, the place needs a through cleaning and I didnt eat the food.
Yes I had the two for $12 Sub special they run on Tuesday and Thursday. I enjoyed the Chicken and cheese sandwich hot n toasted with that right amountt of kick then enjoyed the steam cheese with a large drink very filling. I give it 👍👍
I called ahead and placed and order yesterday and we tried the tabbys famous...loved it...decided to call in an order for today for the same thing and I was not pleased at all...opened my bag and was shocked that i was given steak and cheese instead. I know was speaking perfect clear English when I placed the order. I picked up on my way to work and now I dont have time to go back and take food back...smh this is why I hate doing business in the city and just prefer to just to go to the subrubs. Will never go to this location again
Clean lobby. They were busy but it didnt have to wait long for my order. I drive pretty far for this tubbys. Best one if you ask me

We love Tubbys!!! Not the healthiest, but it tastes so good!!! I love visiting any new Tubbys I find, they are a local favorite that seems to be getting pushed out by national chains. This location has friendly, fun staff. The dining area is clean, but small. Restrooms are clean and stocked. Parking is a bit strange, but doable!
Pretty good Tubbys this side of town. Just have to make sure you have your sauces in the bag. But pretty good though.
The subs and seasoned fries we ordered were fantastic. We had them deliver and it even arrived before their estimated time. The Delivery guy was super nice. Will definitely be ordering from here again. Thanks guys.
I ordered the chicken sub and the Mac n cheese bits. Was a dry sandwich no taste and the Mac n cheese bites tasted like some store bought stuff that I microwaved. Prolly never go here again and this was my first time ever trying Tubbys
We placed an order of two philly steak subs, specifically asked the young man to exclude peppers and onions... this request obviously went unheard or blatantly disregarded because BOTH peppers and onions were on the sub, my wife is allergic to peppers, which is why we stressed that they not be put on the sandwich. The management offered to remake our order but when the delivery was made for the second time, it was wrong AGAIN!!!!! At this point we were so frustrated that our appetite was lost, when we called the Tubbys back to try and comprehend what the complication with preparing our order correctly was, the staff insisted that they didnt mess up our order, every staff member we spoke to, simply passed the buck, no one took responsibility for the foul up, so we demanded a full refund. Instead, the manager offered to refund only one of the sandwiches and to add insult to injury, she attempted to refund the sandwich as it comes on the menu and not apply the toppings that were added, nor the size enlargement fee, (which was Jumbo). All in all, it was an extremely disappointing and terrible experience... I highly advise against anyone dining at this location.
I have a picture of the salad, I wish I could post it. The antipasto salad was a disgrace... they delivered it at work and after I told them this was clearly not an antipasto and I could not eat this they refused to come pick the salad up and refund my money. The salami was packaged, not deli. They had American SLICED cheese in a ANTIPASTO salad. And the ham was wet (packaged) and you could smell the salt. Nothing was deli fresh. All packaged old meat. Not to mention the old lettuce. I wouldn’t eat here nor order from here... ever again.
This place is a joke I ordered a $72.00 order, this was my first time ever ordering at this place and the driver was turning down my block and they called him saying they gave him the wrong order, which I was ok with that. Then when we got the food the order wasnt even complete, I had to grab something else for my daughter, also I ordered 2 chicken Subs with lettuce only and they came loaded with everything and she tells me well I didnt wrap those. I called them to speak to the manager and she tells me the manager wont be in till Monday and if I wanted a refund Id have to bring the complete order in (Really) how about we messed up 3 times with your order that we would rush it to you for free or even a discount. I asked about the sub I didnt get she tried to blame it on the driver what a joke, so I asked what about the fact that a paid for that, she tells me id have to come in on Monday. This place is a Joke.. a $72.00 Joke
Food was sloppy, sandwich wasnt cut in half right or not near cut in the center....i had a steak & cheese loaded i didnt like the pizza sauce on it
Only my 2nd time having tubbys it was good...they just forgot to give me my Jalapeño cheese poppers...its a $3.50 lost🤷🏽♂️
I went to get a carryout for lunch and the heat was not working at all. Its 10 degrees outside and NO HEAT!!! Everybody that worked in there had on coats and one guy had a ski mask on working. It was freezing cold in there like I wanted to turn right around and walk out. Regretfully I placed my order. I stood there baring the cold until my food was ready regretting every minute as I waited patiently.(NO SPACE HEATERS) I felt so bad for the employees what type of management / owner would allow there employees to work in such conditions. I received my food and apologized to them for having to work under these circumstances. You cant expect to get business and take peoples money and deny your customers and employees of basic necessities such as heat in the middle of the Winter. PLEASE DO BETTER!!!!!
GHETTO! When we first walked it we were attacked by an oder that my son described perfectly as FROG FEET other than that service and food were as good as a Tubbys sub shop can be...
My only criticism is that it would be great to have more fresh topping options. Otherwise, I wouldve rated them with 5 stars. Clean, friendly, surveillance cameras for safety, & ample parking.
Never been here cause my Husband and I are from out or town and the costumer service was excellent, super nice staff! And the subs and curly fries were so good! Wish we had a Tubbys where were from.

These guys defintly know how to make good subs ,only if the can be more more generous with orders since I order at least 6 to 8 subs each time for our group of hungry hard working Technicians ,and as for the Muffins ,they need to reconsider their pricing package If I was the owner of that place I would rather sell hundreds of those muffins and cookies for a low price than sell dozens at a higher price ,and they can improve little bit more on making that place look more bright .the management team are good hard working gentlemen and the workers are good as well ,more vegetable guys lol
Good food. Prices are decent considering the Downtown area. Best to call in order ahead of time as the place is usually low on staff and so service can get sluggish during lunchtime.

Maaaaannn, that was delicious! Its tasty, its faster than I thought, its clean, and its delicious! They were on the ball when I came in and ordered 3 subs. I was out of there in about 4 minutes. Like the Governater said...Ill be back!

Go in with Patients ,this location can be EXTREMELY SLOW....don’t even try placing a order by phone, totally waste of time they don’t even answer. I had a question about a item before I ordered through door dash. Called to make a delivery order for my job (Chrysler Plant) first I was told to call back in 3 mins so I waited 10 then when they answered they passed the phone around like nobody wanted to take my order talking about here its your friend. ( I dont know yall I aint none of yall friend) Then the 1 who grabbed the phone sits the phone down to laugh and think I want them to take my order ummmm no. I will not make a $100 delivery order just for sum kids to play in my food especially since I have had my delivery order WRONG on my Birthday in the past after I order it in person I dont even wanna chance it. This was going to be a delivery to a business. but some how the guy managed to lose me as a customer very rude service, i asked if the all American cheeseburger sub was any good? his answer was I dont know then he handed the phone over to a girl. i heard him say something, not sure but it wasnt good, so i just told her i changed my mind, i called jets pizza down the street.
Did not honor item combos or prices on the menu. Explain its on the menu and they no I have no buttons for it, so instead of $4 it was $9. Not good business practice.

I eat at many Tubbys and Im not sure why but when i ate here it definitely tasted much different than others. Great customer service and most importantly great steak and cheese!
I wasnt asked what kind of bread or what kind of wings. So i was automatically given fried wings and white bread. I did not like those but too late cos its a take out.
The sandwich tasted decent, nothing spectacular, but good. I got the 2XL but found it only slightly larger than the large but significantly more expensive

2022-04-19Why did the cashier tell me that the credit card machine is down and if I want to insist on using my card, they can write the info down and charge my card later. Lady are you dumb?!?DUMB?!?! You should just be saying CASH ONLY!! Then when I said thats ok, she just hung up on my face, no sorry for the inconvenience or anything! Yea, my favorite tubbys has hit rock bottom. Wont be returning

2021-06-13This Tubbys location always gets it right. Sandwiches and the toppings are always fresh, hot, quick and accurate! Tried the Just Baked Grumpy Cake cupcake, it was very good. I left 3 in the showcase returned about 2 hours later there was not a cupcake left. Usually stop in once weekly will be adding the cupcake with the Best steak sub you can order from a restaurant. Only 4 stars because lobby needs a lil attention!

2022-05-07Update- Removed a star. Found a small hard woodlike stick in chicken club, plus no onions were on the sub, good flavor though, but was turned off. Previous review-No nonsense nostalgic spot. Decent service. Good sub with thick sliced meat. Great sub sauce! Not as many veggies as the other place, but still delicious.

2021-08-05I have always had excellent service at the Jefferson location. Their staff is kind, the service is fast. I have called to order a sub platter for meetings and they always have my order ready on time. I hope the management and owners treat the front line staff well, they deserve it!

2021-09-20I have been coming to this Tubbys for a few years now. I stopped in the other day, and got one of the best subs Ive ever had from this location. The bread was super soft. There were a few mixups with my order, but Im not sure if it was because I wasnt loud or clear enough, or if it was the girl who took my order. 4 stars are because I think the dining room area needs remodeling....although its not in use due to covid
