My son started in the toddlers room when he was around 22 months. He was very happy there. The first one month in daycare was hard, though. He caught cold, had fever, cried when I left, etc. But as soon as he got used to the new environment, he is very happy everyday. Of course, we should thank all the teachers for taking very good care of him. Ms. Sandy was so affectionate and loving. Ms. Michelle and all the teachers I have ever seen were very nice. To help him adapt to his daycare/school life smoothly, I limit his time in daycare to be as short as I can, usually less than 8 hours. Otherwise he would easily get bad feelings and become homesick. He has moved up to the twaddlers room for about 2 weeks now. So far everything is fine.
Our daughter has been at Tutor Time in Canton since she was 3 months old. Leaving your child at daycare is one of the hardest things to do. However, the experience was made 100 times easier because of the staff at Tutor Time. Everyone from the director to her infant room teachers Mrs. Erica & Mrs. Karina are amazing. They take the time to answer my questions and also keep us updated on her development and milestones. They truly care about her and their actions show it. Our daughter even smiles when she sees her teachers in the morning. I couldnt imagine taking her anywhere else.
My 1st grader came here to do virtual learning 3 days a week. The staff was always very easy to communicate with and have a great deal of compassion for families and kiddos who are struggling with the changes implemented in school from covid.
Absolutely pleased with this school!! The staff is all so caring, thoughtful, and fun and receiving daily pictures and videos of my children helps me confidently know that they are enjoying each and every day, even when I cannot be present. My children are constantly bringing home beautiful art projects and special photos for mommy and you just can’t put a price on that. Thank you, Tutor Time, for all that you do!
Would reccommend! My toddler is in the twos room and enjoys himself whenever he is there. The teachers are really good with him and always talk to me when I come to pick him up. I also love the precious status updates that I get throughout the day with pictures of my little one.
Tutortime Canton was awesome! The staff is caring and dedicated to the well being and happiness of the children who attend their center. I was always welcomed with a smiling face, and any concerns or questions I had were addressed right away. The center is safe, very clean and organized. The staff is great and the Director Melanie makes everyone feel welcomed! :) My child was always happy to be there, and I am so glad that we chose tutortime Canton for our family.
PARENTS, STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE! ITS THE WORST IN CANTON (MI) YOU CAN CHOOSE!!! PLEASE READ MY REVIEW!! This place was a nightmare to my baby and I. Every time I arrived there my child had very red, swollen eyes and looked exhausted. The teacher would just say she never cried, took naps and had a great time. One day, I decided to call from work to check on her and they told me she was doing great. When I picked her up, I checked the daily log and they let her starve through 11 hours by feeding her only 2 oz of formula. They only offered her food 3 times during the 11 hours and said babies dont starve themselves. I believe that but if you dont feed the 6 month old baby then YOU are the one starving her! I wasnt paying almost $300 per week for my kid to receive this kind of service. There is a huge rotation of teachers in the classroom. Every time I arrived there to pick up my daughter there was someone different in the classroom. Once I arrived there and I saw this tiny little baby (maybe 3 months old or younger) crying his head off on the corner in a little baby chair while the teacher was texting on her phone, laughing and listening to very improper music (swearing words). I hate this place and would never recommend it to anyone!
Worst day care of allmy daughter went there for 4 weeks in twaddler room. Kept crying all day. Teachers were hard to talk to. KIM the head teacher was mean to her. they always left her crying at one corner,, and didnt let the teacher she was attached to, to be with her. They force parents to write positive reviews online for themI m just glad I pulled my daughter out of this daycare in just a months time
I would give this place a zero. The first two to three weeks they took care of my son and let me know of everything through the brightwheel app. I used to provide food from home because my son did not like what they provided in the first weeks they told me how much he ate. Afterwards his lunch box looked like it wasn’t touched. He came home hungry. I even told them in person and through the app and they did not even acknowledge that they read it. He got a diaper rash on 3 different days because they did not check. It very upsetting when you put your trust in people to take care of your baby and they neglect your child.
Utilized this location for over a year but less than 2 years. The customer service is bad, they charged me for a full week of service even though my son was only going for two days. The receptionist said I needed to give a full week notice of a change of schedule...this would not be a problem had they been consistent in this regard from day 1. Before I signed my son up, I explained to them my schedule varies and so would my sons, they smiled and told me they would work with me on my schedule and that I just had to give them a call. This is unfortunate that they werent willing to work with a family thats doing the right thing with no overdue balance or issues. I am now actively seeking to find a new daycare center for my son. Just because you smile and say things with a friendly voice does not mean you have good customer service. Im very dissatisfied and disappointed with this location and they have definitely stained the tutor time brand!
Love this place! My 3 year old is in the preschool class and absolutely loves her teachers (especially Ms Tina!) my son is in the toddler class and his teacher Ms Aria is wonderful too, highly recommend!
I sent my child here after looking into several reviews and much debating. After having using them for several months my family found that they had failed our child and were more interested in money than children.They really disappoint and are awful at communicating with parents and had a high teacher turnover rate.
I sent both my daughters to summer camp here, 2/3 days a week. They seemed to have fun when they stayed there. The staff was friendly and attended to my questions right away (unlike the other Tutor Time south of this place).
My daughter has been at Tutor Time for 4 years. The staff is very friendly and professional. The educational support that they give the children is top notch.
We love tutor time! Ms. Tina in Preschool is amazing. Becky & Brandy in the office are amazing too!
They always ask parents to rate this place with more stars.. but my daughter had a hard time adjusting to this place.. worst part is that teachers were least bothered and just doing their routine work.. I m glad She’s notGoing there anymore
Just not a great experience. May be its just with me. But found a lot of hype about this day care but there area lot of places better that one can find.just a suggestion to browse around before enrolling your precious ones.
Worst place to keep your kids at. Make sure you check everything before enrolling your kids here .They just want your money.. the reviews also dont look authentic as they r not enough spaced out..

2020-09-02We recently moved to the area and have been sending our 8 month old to Tutor Time and love it! We have been so happy with the safety measures the site has taken with COVID. The staff members are always wearing their masks, temperatures are being taken, along with monitoring of the children for any illnesses. Our son loves going there everyday as they keep him actively engaged in learning activities throughout the day! During times like these it can be scary sending your child anywhere but Tutor Time has made us feel comfortable and safe. Highly recommend!

2021-01-22I am glad that I have chosen Tutor Times for my 16 months old baby. He is going there for the last two months. His rooms primary teacher is Mrs. Chasity. She is very active and takes care of all the kids equally. I love all teachers there. I cant name one because everyone is so wonderful.I get updates through the app, and I love that I can check in on my baby via cameras whenever I want.All teachers make sure that my baby eats something and remains active. I know sometimes it takes a lot of patience to feed my baby. I appreciate all the efforts everyone takes. They also take care of small things if we let them know. Like my baby sometimes does not eat properly, so they give milk. I like late evening snack because that helps a lot if I am getting late for pick up. That way, I can relax. I am pretty sure my baby will learn a lot from here.I am looking forward to more surprises and sharing good times. I highly recommend it!! Thanks, everyone.

2020-09-11Weve been going to this Tutor Time for over a year. The staff has always been wonderful, but Im very impressed with the safety measures theyve put in place since the pandemic. All the teachers wear masks all the time, and all kids are temperature screened upon entry. They are limiting who can enter classrooms, and my 19-month old knows so much about hand-washing! They changed the way they serve meals (no more family style) to avoid sharing serving utensils etc, and have increased their cleaning and sanitation protocols for their classrooms. They even keep the kids separated by 6 feet at nap time. We are very happy with this daycare and would recommend it to anyone!

Thank you!Love this daycare!! Highly recommend! The staff is wonderful and caring. The teachers actually have a passion for educating, they do activities from an educational point of view even with little toddlers, and actually follow through with helping my child learn; its not like some fake curriculum Ive experienced elsewhere. Its more than just someone feeding and cleaning my child all day. My toddler looks forward to going there. I never have to worry about her. I get tons of updates through the app and I love that I can check in on her via cameras whenever I want. Grandma also loves being able to check in on the cameras with her own account on the app. The price is very reasonable, one of the cheapest in the area from my experience, and includes diapers, wipes, and food! Its cheaper than the awful day care I used before, and they actually give an afternoon AND evening snack so Im not picking up a starving toddler by the time I get there. It always smells good, just saying. Its clean. Everyone looks happy. Kids look happy. If staff has a bad day Id never know because they are always friendly and caring. They know how & when to change diapers, they care about my childs skin integrity, shes not had any rashes since shes been going here and the staff helped resolve the rash she came with from the prior daycare by changing her frequently, using the creams, etc! They truly care about my childs cleanliness. Her face is clean when I pick her up. Shes not covered in food, her clothes dont get filthy. Its just a really great daycare! Infant rooms and all the other rooms also look like high quality care!

2020-01-16Definitely recommend. Love the care and attention given to small children at infant care. Every age group has syllabus and the kids come home learning something new everyday. So many activities. Becky is great, kids love her and she loves kids. We love all the teachers and can’t recommend the place enough.

2019-09-20This daycare is great! Most teachers are nice, and they are always responsive. The thing I like the most is all time camera, so I know exactly how well my kid is doing everyday, which is extremely important when you worry about your kids.

2019-09-19My daughter has been going here for over 2 years. We love it. The curriculum is great and I feel like she is more advanced than other children her age. The staff is amazing and we especially love Miss Tina. We also love all the updates, pictures, and videos we receive throughout the day!

2015-01-18We love tutor time for our 2.5 year old son. The teachers are very caring and treat all of the children wonderfully. All of the staff is patient and receptive to individual child needs. They are also very accommodating to parents requests (if you want them to have certain snacks, or toilet training methods, etc.) They play outside, make crafts, have group activities, and I think its so great for our son to be around other kids his age. Another bonus is that they are flexible with scheduling as long as you give them 1 weeks notice.

2019-10-02My daughter has been going there for more than 1 year, and shes having a great time there. She also learnt a lot through the curriculum, were always impressed by the songs she is singing and how she imitates teachers behavior. Another add-on feature is the all-day camera. And we also love the updates and pictures that they send to us.

2017-12-15My daughter went this tutor time for almost one and half years. The Toddler class and Twos class are good. My daughter liked teachers. However, the early preschool class is horrible, all good teachers started to leave, and i was quite frustrated after they left and got bad experience. E,g, One of the teacher said disgusting to other kids, and are very rude to kids in front of me. One of the lead teachers refused to give breakfast to my kid, as my kid was late for class less than 5 mins. We decided to change to other daycare. My kid is very happy in the new place.Definitely meet the lead teachers before you decide to bring your kids to the daycare.
