The food was good; however, the temperatures were too cool and consequently it gave us a stomach ache later. Id highly suggest for the owners to put in a better heating element in the buffet lines.
Really bad... food is dried out a few dishes I didnt even bother to touch because it looks like it sat out for a few days under the heat lamp.... teriyaki chicken was dry but still warm at least.... pepper steak was okay 2 out 5. Gagged after eating a cream puff that was probably a week or so old... decorating is nice at least 🤷♀️
Impressive decor and atmosphere. The food was fresh, hot, and constantly coming. Service was excellent.Coming in I really wasn’t sure what to expect, but I am impressed.
First time in. Food wasnt bad! But some of it couldve been warmer. Not much for desert choice. Waiters/waitress was very attentive :) Drinks tasted musty. But Im not complaining. I still drank it lol

Everything was very bland and dried out. The hot and sour soup was awful. The sushi actually wasnt bad but it was a bit warm and did not taste fresh. Not worth $30 for a two person meal.

The food wasnt that great and for two it came out to $35. The waitress who kept bringing drinks eventually took my fork and I had to go ask for another one and they werent nice about it. Then I was brought the check and told you pay me now? Like they were telling me my time was up. No other buffet Ive been to does this. Ill never be back. The food was nasty anyways, and learn how to wrap sushi!

This restaurant has high quality food and service. We have a great experience whether in the restaurant or if we take out/Door Dash. Even with custom orders! Highly recommend!!
Food was not good at 6pm last night dried out with way to much msg. Im still tasting msg due to reflux even my husband had an upset stomach.

This place has really went down hill. The last few times there was limited selection of dishes. The food that was available was either under cooked or dried out. The food was cold and not very good. I would not recommend this buffer.
Place was mid, limited food and tasteless, ive had diarrhea since i ate there.
We walked in and the restaurant looked so beautiful. Visually the food looked so good. But the food was disgusting. It was rubbery and old. And their was not 1 item that tasted good. Everything was so gross. We were 100% disappointed 😞 and no one came to clean our table of plates or give us refills.I wouldnt eat there everAgain even if it was free. Now my stomach feels queen and I feel likecibwant to puke!!
Love this place soley because they are the only ones ever open during the holidays. They saved us christmas day when we moved here last year. And continue to do so this year. Great buffet. Wish there was a bit more of a variety though.

The food is good sometimes but not all the time. Some of the food sometimes tastes like dirty dish water. Especially the egg rolls. Then othet days that I eat there they don’t taste that way. They need to find out what’s causing it.. the last time it happened I felt like vomiting because of the dirty sink water taste.
Not a lot variety food, not a lot seafood. You have to call them in regard to pick up the empty dish. Not offering napkins. By the time I called the server/ I asked for refill for my kids and he came with a pitcher and start refilling the disposal cups. I asked to change the cups and he said we not changing the cups because nothing wrong with them 😄
Eat here every chance I get. Family very nice & has been a buffet owner for yrs. I would recommend it to everyone 😊
Wonderful dining experience. Tables were comfortable and the service was quick and prompt. The variety of traditional Chinese dishes was great. I highly recommend this establishment to everyone. Especially if your having a large gathering or get together.
Very filthy and no food items one row only small pieces of chicken.
The family is nice and the children are often sitting at one of the dining tables doing homework. The kitchen is open to the public and it is comforting seeing the clean cooking area. The food is traditional American Chinese food and tasty. They usually have sample almond cookies on a plate for the customers while waiting and I think this is an excellent personal touch.Most of the food is excellent. The reason for 4 stars is I have found their prices to be a bit high. I dont mind paying more for outstanding food, but excellent food is expected in my world.Eat here with confidence. You will be happy.
They completely messed up my order. I tried calling multiple times to let them know and no one would answer the phone. When I returned to get the correct dinner, they couldnt make me any because they were busy and ran out of chicken. When I have eaten here, with the correct order, the food was pretty bland. I wont be giving them another last chance.
Way over priced as the only plus was no unheated food. Food is fine but lets be honest it was inadequate in variety versus the price.
Went about 8:00 PM on a Friday night. They were still steady-busy, waited 15 mins for food. Ordered at the counter; everyone was extremely friendly. Ordered Dragon and Phoenix, and Crab Cheese. There were 8 crab cheese, very generous and they were very tasty. Dragon and Phoenix; the shrimp are served on a bed of small-dice onions, the chicken was similar to Orange Chicken but on the spicy side.Ill definitely come back...I will try another dish next time.
This is the same place as Oriental Forest buffet but they changed the name,it is still dirty as always,youll see stains crumbs and food on tables.The only thing they changed is having a cleaner bathroom.Dont recommend it to anyone.
Idk why people are giving it bad reviews it was sooooo goood I love the orange chicken and the dumplings oh and the soup yum the ice cream isn’t the same because of COVID-19 but it’s still alright the sushi was amazing and the shrimp kinda scared me but it was good 😊 👍
We have been eating here for years. Their food is very good. But they no longer keep a clean shop. Their door and windows have many layers of filth. It is very clear that the floors, counter, everything has really not been cleaned in a while.

Went there last night and food was stale and cold. They had changed a few of the items since they went under a new name but for $27 it was not worth it. Use to go there when they were oriental buffet but now it was just horrible.
Terrible. Worst almond chicken I have ever had, not to mention, it was completely different than any almond chicken I’ve ever had! The chicken was super thin & tough, the breading was like shake & bake? The “gravy” was basically brown water. The fried rice that accompanied my $8.50 lunch combo, was yellow. Not a single piece of chicken or vegetable in the fried rice!! It tasted like dish water!!! Horrid food!!
Worst Chinese food ever! I could not have been any more disappointed with the tough and chewy orange chicken with tiny pieces of dark meat in thick breading. The sweet and sour chicken made my daughter vomit (literally) and the almond boneless is thin and nasty tasting. They did not include plum sauce with the egg rolls, but based off of my experience I will probably throw them away anyways.Terrible, terrible and not cheap Chinese Food. Dont waste your money.
Worst Chinese food Ive ever eaten. I called in a lunch order for Teriyaki Chicken. They called me back 2 minutes later to let me know they were out of Teriyaki Chicken so I went with Almond Chicken with a bowl of Won Ton soup. The chicken was more breading than chicken and was very chewy. The soup had an overwhelming aroma of ginger when I opened the lid. I found out why when I bit into a chunk of ginger and nearly lost my lunch. First time was the last time for me.

So... This review is actually for twin dragons Chinese restaurant on Silverbell and Adams. Not sure how to fix this. Its amazing though! Sorry I cant surreal to the buffet. So happy to have found this place. Best Chinese in Rochester. Try the Lo Me in, General Tsos Chicken, and beef with broccoli. So good !!
The food is fast (15 to 20 min). Food is good. Would recommend their Sushi(Salmon Nigiris especially). Do not recommend the smoked salmon though. Tastes like ham... But the eel and salmon are delicious. The rice is great too on the sushi. Gyozas are delicious too.
Very nice small restaurant. Small seating area to set and enjoy your food. Restrooms are clean. The way the kitchen and counter is set up so you can see your food being cooked. Usually one owner is working
For a first time dining experience at the Twin Dragons, it was definitely interesting. We arrived about 45-hr before close so our food being cold was fairly expected. The flavor of the food was pretty enjoyable and the interior was immaculate but thats where the pleasantries end. We dug up the remaining food from pans, seeing as we were some of their last guests for the evening. When we got to the front to pay our bill, to our dismay, we witnessed an employee digging for gold over the buffet line. As I said before, their food was pretty enjoyable and im hoping this employees organic specialty isnt the reason why.

We have only eaten here once, but it was delicious! The ABC chicken was crispy on the exterior, moist on the inside; vegetables were fresh and al denté. The egg rolls were packed with fresh vegetables and pork; they were flavorful on their own and didnt warrant any need for plum or hot mustard sauce. The General Tsos chicken was all white meat with a sweet and savory brown sauce - some of the best Ive had in a long time. Too many American Chinese restaurants make Tsos chicken with a ketchup-based sweet & sour sauce, which is not correct and tastes horrible. Twin Dragon makes the sauce right. The Tsos could have been more spicy; I did ask for medium spice but the dinner was barely mild, although still flavorful. Also, the fried rice was slightly greasy. For these two reasons, I give Twin Dragon 4 out of 5 stars.FYI: Twin Dragons food is almost as good as Hong Hua, which is a huge compliment to the former because Hong Hua is expensive & a la carte; however, Twin Dragon provides a better value and their food is fresh. We will be going back.
Since 2009 I have been a weekly customer. Our whole family LOVES their food. Delicious, fast, dependable. Worth every penny.
Dumplings (gyoza) were made from frozen, so that made me pretty unimpressed as that is one of my favorite dishes. If it is made from frozen, I might as well pick them up from the Kroger next door and keep them in my own freezer. Fried rice was just mediocre. Going to give it a second try tonight. Wish me luck!Also, some have called this a delivery place, which is inaccurate. They dont deliver. They are a carry out place.
Used to live behind the shopping district this place is in. Really good food, theyre very quick about it, and its well worth and visit. On top of that, a good selection of food and drinks. Owners are nice

Variety is slim. Sea food was cold and slimy, chicken tasted rotten, plus our toddler had bones in her sweet and sour chicken nuggets. Pizza and French fries were stale and cold.Service was terrible- didnt offer a refill or clear plates until we asked for our bill. Charged us $45 dollars for 2 adults a toddler and a baby on a Sunday. Receipt isnt even itemized, only lists the total so you cant dispute the charge. Will never go back.

2021-07-29Let me start by saying, the service at this buffet was incredible! They were attentive (but not overly), and very friendly. Now I know that this is an odd way to start a review, but trust me, it was superlative!Now on to the food... Ive eaten at many buffets, and with that, most of the food is quite cookie cutter. General TSO, blah blah blah. But this time it was different. There WAS general TSO here, but it wasnt killed by the breading. The chicken was moist, not dry, and write flavorful. I appreciated seeing different dishes here, outside of the regular forte at a buffet. It was very clean inside as well. I will absolutely be a returning patron (even though its an hour drive one way).

2022-07-07I found a HAIR on my sushi then I showed it to them and asked them to remove the sushi dish before anybody take it. But they never removed it. So the rest of the people ate it. When I ask them to remove it they acted like they dont understand english. When asked the lady worked there to remove it she was so rude to me.

2022-06-24This place is one of the better Asian Buffets. Nothing was really great but nothing was so horrible I had to spit it out. They did have sushi and sashimi if you are brave enough to try it. The soup was also good. Waitress was quick and made sure the table was cleared and drinks were full. All in all I would eat here again.

2022-07-19Absolutely great place to eat, I love the atmosphere and the workers. However there was an incidence of an actual Karen being extremely rude. She complained about how they had to pay for any leftovers they wanted to take home which is A NORM at every buffet. They think of themselves as entitled and deserving of everything and the workers are way too nice to be treated like that. If they don’t like how the buffet system is designed then they shouldn’t eat at a buffet. It’s not a huge corporation probably a family whose just trying to make a living and make sure you have a good meal. And if you don’t think these rude customers think they are entitled, look at some of the comments below

2022-05-28Sadly, this place is terrible now. 7:00 pm on a Saturday and busy but Dry food, and no crab legs, mostly dried chicken and overcooked vegetables.Then overcharged on top for a beverage we did not get and when I complained, he took less than $1 off and wouldn’t give me a receipt.Lesson learned- Will not return.

2019-11-08COLD, Good Food with NO SIGNAGE. I enjoyed this Chinese diners indoor atmosphere, it’s clean & relaxing. Onto the reason we’re here, the food. The food was good, not great. First & foremost - the main issue is that the food was COLD. Practically all of it. From the Chicken, Beef, Broccoli, Shrimp, French Fries and the garlic bread. Everything. By the time you get the food to the table, it’s cold and almost completely un-enjoyable which does not permit a suitable dining experience for the price you’re going to pay. The food itself tasted flavorful and good for the most part. They have 5-6 buffet bars with a good variety to choose from but...be weary, be quick and if you choose to eat here, if you notice that your food is cold by the time you’ve gathered it and sat down, speak up. Hopefully management will see this and recalibrate or look into their systems. Also, I would highly recommend that the manager / owner add signage to the food. Many of the selections do not have labels, thus...leaving the visitors to either already know what it is they’re eating or having no idea. Overall, I probably won’t be coming back unless I have an absolutely irresistible craving. For now, I’m on the hunt to find a better buffet and I would suggest you do the same. 2022-05-18Disgusting bathrooms. Complained to staff and they told us that we made the mess in the bathroom because they just opened up (we arrived there at 12:30). 🤔. So if their bathrooms are that dirty what does their kitchen look like? In the end they just kicked us out for complaining about dirty bathrooms.
