Comment: Rented a cargo van, everything went great at pickup. The van was not clean on pickup, I assumed because it was a cargo van they just didnt bother. They had bunch of air freshener in out. Anyways I return before it was due and this guy with a little girl body said there was hair in it. There was gray hair on seats and this guys says hes going to charge me $150. I said I will go vacuum it even tho it wasnt mine. He refused to give me keys and starts screaming Im harassing him. Im like whatever. My ride comes, I called bank and canceled my card. He tried to charge $165.15. Of course it was denied. I will be contacting corporate international morning. Beware!

I said probably tomorrow in which she said. Well ...... i just you to know that now another families will be without a vehicle today of your decision I explained her that I was new at this and that the agent that check me in never said anything of what she telling on the phone in which she said well ... we are not mind readers Are you serious???? What type of answer is that to a customer!!?Dont you also have a ton of trucks outside? How exactly is she trying to make feel bad or irresponsible for keeping the truck for another day! Im paying for a service and im not keeping it for free!I would like to know the name of the woman that called me at 2:36pm on Friday April 26th!

Comment: The super kind gentleman who helped me with my rental was phenomenal! He was really nice, knowledgeable, and had excellent customer service. I’ve rented trucks multiple times at this location and every single time I go, I have a wonderful experience and I love the staff here. Britney also assisted me and she’s always been a joy. Thank you so so much for providing awesome customer service all the time. I really enjoyed renting my cargo van which was in very good condition by the way😌 I would definitely recommend to go to this location.

Than they told me they only have available during the week for someone to attach or early Saturday... Get there and waited 3 hours for the service to be completed even with a appointment!

Comment: They’re very busy here leaving customers waiting for long periods of time. They don’t have enough workers for how busy they were when we went. The 2 workers disappeared for at least half an hour if not longer leaving a line of customers waiting to be helped. One customer stated he waited for an hour and a half the day before to be helped. When asked if I could extend my date if needed I was told 3 different times Yes just call and let us know. So why did the female sit there and yell at me for not only NOT being able to bring the truck back EARLY (???) but for wanting to extend the time as asked when I rented??? Don’t tell customers they can call to extend the time then *itch at them for calling to ask for more time. It’s not my fault that you rented out the truck after I specifically asked 3 different times on that day I rented it if I could extend my time for another day if needed.

Comment: I got my crate rentals at this location. Originally i have reserved 19 online. At the location they only had 9. And in all honestly, they were so dirty. old stickers were still on them and covered in dirt on the inside. It felt gross using them, i ended up putting my items in bags then putting them in the crates. One worker made me feel so uncomfortable, he was staring at my chest so obliviously and when I made it obvious that i noticed by wrapping myself with my jacket. he just started looking away from me because I noticed. And when I came back to return my items that same worker was vaping in the uhual garage There was a huge puff of smoke, and he had his vape pen in his hand. I dont know if he was maybe on his break but even if that, i thought you are on your jobs property at least dont do it in front of your customers. Only reason I chose that location was because it was open later. Im never the one to leave complaints I tend to always just brush it off but the experience was just too bad there. After my experience I am never going back to that uhaul location again.

Comment: Used this U haul on Van Buren plenty of times. Today I went in had a reservation made under my sisters name she explained to them what we needed and asked very specifically if we can tow a trailer with one of there trucks and they said no problem. She also told them that she couldnt go in, they told her no problem. So I get waited for a like 10 minutes the owner finally comes in, tell him I have a reservation then he tells me I cant rent the truck because my sister isnt there with her credit card and that they couldnt authorize it because of credit card fraud. Then Im told that I cant tow anything with their trucks that they put locks on the hitch. The owner was very rude as Im talking to him he starts talking to other customers who just walked in. So I then call another u haul company and ask them about getting a truck and if I can tow my own trailer with their trucks and the lady I spoke with she said of course all trucks have a hitch on them. So I just walked out of the Van Buren store. I will never go back to that store again worst experience ever.

Comment: Stopped by Jan. 17, to fill 2 propane (5 gal.) tanks.Young man about 22 years old, pony tail and either bleached or dye hair came out and accused me of ringing the bell three times. I rang bell once but the problem is you can’t hear the bell to tell if it is working. This person lacks respect for others and is rude. He has a very smug and disrespectful attitude. He does not belong working with customers.

The equipment was available and ready as promised, the staff were friendly, competent, and extremely helpful. Both pick up and return were done in minutes. If its anywhere close to you, go here.

Comment: BEWARE! DO NOT USE UHAUL!!!I walked in to this Uhaul location prior to my interstate move and reserved a 12’ trailer 1 month in advance. The Uhaul employee told me that I would get a call the day before my reservation letting me know the time and location of where I needed to get my trailer, assuring me that if it wasn’t at that particular location that it would be at one nearby. A month goes by and I do not get a call from Uhaul the day before my reservation, so I called them. They told me that there are NO 12’ trailers anywhere in southern CA and that the closest one is in northern AZ! Uhaul told me 1 day before I had to be moved out of my apartment that they could not supply the equipment that we had agreed upon a month in advance. I spoke with Tish who was extremely unhelpful and rude about Uhaul leaving me high and dry 1 day before my move out date. She did nothing to help me or compensate me and frankly did not care that Uhaul was completely screwing me over. The only person from Uhaul that deserves any praise is Andrew at the Van Buren location. He was genuine and helpful in finding me and getting me a deal on a 10’ foot van and car dolly. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH UHUAL. Making a reservation means absolutely nothing to them and they will care less about completely screwing you over.

The guy who strapped my motorcycle up did a horrible job . I didn’t realize it until I tried to unstrap it and it completely fell to the floor . I should not have to call 10 times and then get transferred to a phone center where everyone has no idea what the heck is going on in the store it is ridiculous. Honestly .

Comment: After 5 hours of waiting, the hitch we had a reservation for - and were assured would be a simple install - still isnt on. Constant we dont know how long this is going to take (basically admitting that your people dont know what theyre doing) is unacceptable.Having a giant custom hitches installed! is a pretty sad statement when they needed two technicians and a trip to the hardware store to fumble around to figure out what theyre doing. Its a fairly new Corolla - not some exotic sports car. Sad. Lackluster excuses and a phony cheery attitude does nothing to hide incompetence.Update #1 - At hour 6.25 theyve finally called and claimed that the hitch is done. However, after having assured us twice that theyd have the hitch done and the trailer - already put on and ready for us to drive off the lot - theyre now claiming we have to sign more paperwork and that the trailer isnt even on the car yet.
