Customer service is not good. Have multiple customers waiting outside for over an hour. Told us they had the trailer we wanted then went to give us a smaller one we didnt pay for. Wont communicate with people.While we were inside they had someone waiting for propane. Heard them say the guy wasnt here to fill the tanks, but never went to tell the customer. Just left him out there waiting. So we went to tell him so he didnt just sit there like we had to. Took over an hour and a half just to find out they didnt have the trailer we needed.GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
They messed up and put the wrong mileage and fuel at the beginning and we explained this all to the guy we dropped it off to yesterday and he assured us it would be taken care of and yet we still were charged for $120 when the charge was supposed to be $70 total. We will not be coming back to any u haul after this experience. We spent the day trying to reach ANYONE from customer service in general AND the store itself and sat on hold for hours. It’s pointless to call U haul. I cannot believe we were overcharged $50 and there is no resolution at all in sight even though the guy assured us he would make sure the right charges were put on the card.
Thank you Ryan for helping us put a trailer on our Uhaul rental truck, it did take a bit to get service but we did get it and he did and awesome job! Be patient with these guys, they were so busy and so many rude and unhappy customers came through and even still, Ryan and his coworker still had a positive attitude. Thanks again Ryan!
Im docking a star for the terrible online booking. I rented a truck, and then paid for movers on their website. My order showed the mover, but not the truck rental. So I called the next day, the lady told me first it wasnt there, then, she found it under another store. And my pick up was at Burlingame. So come the morning of pick up, there was NO ORDER! Luckily, the guy working had a truck available and got us on our way. Everything else went fine. However, get there early, like we did. When we left, the lines were out the door. They are either hurting from staffing issues, or the GM doesnt care and prefers to save payroll.
My experience at this location was not good. First I walk in, no one is behind the counter so I waited then finally someone came behind the counter. This was 1/2/21 @ around 1:30pm. The man was texting on his phone and made me feel like I was bothering him. Asked where something was and he was no help. Very untalkative and rude. While everyone can have a bad day, there was no effort on his part to be pleasant and I will look for other places to buy moving supplies in the future.
Poor customer service. Went there for propane, rang the bell and the guy said that it’s last on his list to take care of. After waiting 30 minutes the guy wouldn’t come fill my propane tank. I could imagine this from an employee but this was the owner, when he finally came out there was another customer waiting and he completely refused to give me service because he was so annoyed that I rang the bell several times while waiting. I would give zero reviews if google let me.
DO NOT USE THIS LOCATION. I had a 26’ truck rented and signed up for their truck share feature that allows you to use the app and get your keys from a lock box. I get there at 8am on a Sunday, go through the app process, call customer service and find out the manager did not put my keys in there the night before! The store did not open until 9 so I had to wait an hour to speak to anyone there. Once I saw someone at about 8:45, I explained my situation and asked if he could help me out. His response: you got 15 mins till we open. I should have been out of her an hour ago if it wasn’t for you and your awfully ran business! After finally getting keys, I go to the truck, and someone else is there too. They gave 2 of us the same truck! Stay away from this place at all cause. It will not be a smooth process I promise.
My name is Paul Cornwell and I have used U-Haul for over 10 years for everything from major moves across the country to various other functions. It saddens me to say that my most recent experience with U-Haul will be my last.After we arrived in Michigan from a cross country move on the afternoon of April 18th we went to our reserved storage facility on Burlingame Street in Grand Rapids where we were to drop off the truck and store our things for the next several months. What transpired was absolutely unreal and detestable customer service.According to the assistant manager, U-Haul’s entire system was down and he could not tell us which storage bays would be ours. After a long conversation he offered for us to keep the trucks at the facility where we were assured it would be safe. We agreed to the course of action and gave our keys to the employee who offered to drive our trucks into a more secure location.An employee named Jared took our 26 ft truck with all of our possessions and sped through the parking lot nearly putting the truck on two wheels. He began speeding with our 15 ft. Truck until I stopped him and asked him to be gentle with our possessions. I was astonished and shocked at the lack of care taken by Jared as he tore through the parking lot as if he was drag racing through the parking lot. I will find out if any of our possessions were broken due to his incompetence in the coming several months once we unpack.We returned on April 19th to unload our trucks into storage only to find out that they did not have the sizes they reserved and they refused to give us any assistance or help in resolving the matter. Our only options were to pay more for smaller units than what we had originally reserved. Unsure of our next move we went to check on the trucks and received the shock of a lifetime. Our trucks were no longer where they had been parked.When I returned to ask where our trucks had been parked with all of our possessions, he said to just look around and that they were there. He was only half right. Our 26 ft. Truck had been parked with other trucks to be rented again. Our 15 ft. Truck was no where to be seen. Panic set in and the manager of the branch nor anyone else was of help.In fact, it took us calling the regional president to find out the truck had been taken across town since it had been marked as abandoned. I need to make this clear. This was unacceptable in so many ways. We were given assurances our things would be safe in the UHaul stored overnight. When our truck was found to be missing no one at the branch cares. Including the manager of the branch. It took calling you the chain to even find out what had happened.We were given four free months of storage as an apology for the issues. Even with that we are finding frustration. Every month I have to remind uhaul of why I have free storage and have them waive late fees. All of the information is in their system and they are able to see the notes. This has been confirmed multiple times by multiple employees at the Byron Center, Michigan location.The failure of U-haul to help with their lockbox, a broken truck, taking three days to pick up the broken truck, lack of helpfulness by employees, lack of care for our possessions to speed, and one of our trucks being moved to another facility leads me to be absolutely bewildered at the entire experience. This is not how a company should run nor should any customer have to deal with the consistent lack of respect and negligence.I plan to continue telling people this story as a warning to them. Don’t use U-haul or risk major complications due to negligence and irresponsibility. My hope is that U-Haul will do everything in their power to make this right and show integrity and pride in their company and brand. As of now, the entire company has shown a complete disregard for customers.
Ive rented trucks from and been in this store multiple times and have always had a great experience. Staff has been friendly and helpful everytime.Theyve helped me load things into my car and always make sure the truck is ready to go (warmed up and brushed on a bad winters day! )If theyre in your range I recommend going to this location!
Waited almost an hour and NO ONE came out to help. It seemed like no one worked there. I was looking around to kill time but seriously no one even popped their head out. Maybe no one heard me go in, so my bf walked in and out 3 times so they could hear the door but nothing so we left. Its not the first time this happens here. I DO NOT RECCOMEND this place at all. Dont waste your time like I did.
We rented a 26’ truck and auto transport for a move from Michigan to North Carolina, and had a great experience with the staff and equipment from U-Haul here. They were kind and very professional, and the truck and auto transport were clean and well-maintained. Our truck was ready first thing in the morning. The hook-up process for the auto transport was perfect. Really, the whole experience we had was truly exceptional. Thank you, staff, at U-Haul at Burlingame in Wyoming, MI. We appreciate how much you helped this move go smoothly.
I have nothing good to say about this location! I had a storage unit for almost 3 years there and when it came to move my stuff out, it was 3 days after I paid for the whole month, they refused to pro-rate it. Also, be prepared to wait 5-10 minutes before someone even notices you need assistance. Loyal customers mean NOTHING to the Owner Lisa Curtis! Go to another location!
Dont try and get a hitch here...or expect your appointment time to be honored anyway. I had 8am, but their guy left to get a hitch they didnt have for a 7am appointment and they would call me when it was my turn instead of waiting there. OK...but 3+ HOURS later, no call...and they dont answer their phone are many many tries. I went back in person and they couldnt have cared less. Well get you in (pushing NOON now) and it might be 1.5 hours to do it. I couldnt wait any more since I have other commitments than waiting for them ALL DAY. Thanks for wasting my entire morning.Even their online chat to try to resolve this (since I wasnt going to wait 20-30 more minutes on the phone) was cold, rude, and unhelpful.
I go to this location alot from work ;(corporate customer)Since they switched owners and managers this place has been worst, the customer service here is not good employees are always in a bad mood , i had to call customer service to complain about Mikeal Kennedy (General Manager) he has no manners towards customers. i only go there because its close to home but i been trying to go elsewhere customer service is horrible.
Worst experience I have ever had with a moving company will never do business with uhaul again after this. Not only did i pay 2400$ for a 20 foot truck and car transport trailer but upon paying for the truck and was told I had to hook trailer up by myself, truck was a wreck when received can’t even see out of the windshield when raining due to the wiper blades streaking heavily. Steering wheel was crooked to the left about 90 degrees. But leaving at 2 o clock in the morning for my 15 hour drive the trailer lights do not work what so ever. If you are going to charge amounts like this uhaul at least have your equipment working properly and maintenance wise taking care of. Will not be doing business with uhaul again nor will I recommend uhaul to anyone.if your going to charge a premium price all customers should receive premium service
Office staff were polite. The place appeared to be clean and well run. The only complaint I have is someone must have smoked a carton of cigarettes in the pick up truck I rented. After driving 400 miles I was sick to my stomach. I am sure if I would have asked for a different truck they would have made that change for me though so I dont so I really do not blame this business for that. They cannot control the incredible rudeness of many smokers.
If I could give this company ZERO stars I would! I called in the morning on a Sunday 9 am on 1/27/19 to get pricing on a 100gl propane take, I called 3 different times with no answer and no return call from the manager Lisa that customer service said would happen. I called and finally spoke with William at the Burlingame location (customer reps said he is the only one logged in that day) who was disrespectful, UNPROFESSIONAL, and Unknowledgable of Uhaul pricing, he said he would not answer my question all because he was BUSY! Because he was too busy I don’t get helped on top of it he is speaking to me with an attitude as if he’s irritated I called with a question, simply asking him to do his job that he gets paid to do. It’s the middle of winter in MI and instead of saving me a drive he hangs up on me while I’m asking him why he can’t give me the price. This propane is to heat my home and it’s sunday I REALLY needed this propane and William had no desire to help me out, I’m completely taken back that uhaul would have someone so unprofessional and who has no regard to its customers, working for them. When I call businesses like this for help and they hang up on me it makes me take my business ells where. Thanks for nothing! So I called the Uhaul location on alpine and received great service from David who answered on the first call and gave me the pricing I was looking for. It’s not Uhaul that’s makes the bad reviews it’s the type of people they choose to employ.
Awful. Horrible. Would not recommend. We waited...and waited....and waited....for the clerk to get done with his FRIEND. They talked about everything, exchanged personal numbers talked about hanging out. Im sorry, but do that on your own time. People are waiting. Its not friend time. Not to mention when one of the other workers came in, they asked if they had seen the manager. Oh no, who knows where she went. MAYBE she stepped out, MAYBE she left. Ridiculously unprofessional.
Its not possible for a business to be ran more improperly. The staff do their best but its clear they are left to fend for themselves. Truck rentals is acceptable but DO NOT RENT STORAGE HERE. Two months in a row I was charged a $27 late fee because they forgot to save my credit card information. Both times I had to drive in in person to update something I did the first day I was there.The main entrance has destroyed concrete by the door so every time you bring something in or out it gets jounced and destroyed.
The good: The person who helped me was friendly. The trailer I reserved was there and in good shape. It worked well.The bad: . When I got there, one person was trying handle a slow moving line. It took me 20-25 minutes waiting. When it was finally my turn, I found out my reservation was accidentally cancelled when I called to say I was running a little late. I had to enter all my info again.When the trailer was all hooked up, the person noticed that my truck, like all trucks, has a round trailer plug. The trailer had a flat four. Did I want to pay $13 for an adapter? No, Ill drive home and get the one I would have brought if I had known. Disconnect the trailer. Get adapter. Wait in line again. Get reconnected. Done. An hour and fifteen minutes to pick up a trailer.Dropping off was better, but still waited 10 minutes to be noticed at the sign that says, Dont enter store. We will come to sign in the equipment youre returning.
Dropped off the truck we rented yesterday amd still have no final bill statement. Have called and emailed several several times and everyone i speak to says i have to talk to someone else. Also has 100$ hold on my bank card amd says my contract is on hold. Cant get NO ONE to answer the phones at the Burlingame location to clear this up. Very unprofessional and will definitely NOT do business with them again
I have had good experiences at this U-Haul. Particular shoutout to Jeffrey, who has offered top-notch customer service on two separate occasions. He was helpful, efficient, and friendly--and I am sure his service went well beyond what he is required to do. Thanks, Jeffrey! Keep being awesome.
Hello this is rick, and I am sorry our system is jankey right now were updating it, but I guess some people just dont understand customer service sorry about the long wait times I do apologize it happens to all of us, but we do not charge Ridiculous fees we charge for equipment usage, and the manager awesome lisa and all other staff will tell you the same thing it depends on your bank on how long they hold it, but want to come at us rude for your bad experience, their are other reviews of people with good customer service,so idk Ive worked here for 5 months and theres a lot of work that goes behind being a customer service representative, you have Inventory that has to be counted & stocked, reservations so I have to check the log, to make sure someone else didnt rent out the equipment, your looking for, I have returns,as well and the truck u just returned has to be inspected before it goes back out on a rental, so therefore I have to look for damage, check tires, fluids, as well as clean it out wash windows mop out the back, then park it and write a tag for it.. u also have propane customers, therefore I have to be away from the desk to help out a customer same as hooking up trailers I have to make sure they have lights and take a picture of the hookup before they leave, and yes these trailers weigh anywhere from 200 to 800 lbs and they dont all have handwheels on them and it does take some time so I do apologize for the inconvenience once again.. .
Don’t ever use the mobile pick up because you have to wait 45 mins to an hour in line to grab the keys regardless. I’ve used this place a couple of times to get a uhaul and they have the worlds slowest service I’ve ever experienced in my life. I think could have HAND moved my house to my new apartment before they could even figure out where the keys were.
Gabriel is an amazing employee,not too long ago he hooked up a trailer for me and checked everything to make sure everything was hooked correctly and noticed my lights weren’t coming on, so he switched out the cords, then there was another trailer close by so he tried hooking that to my hitch to see if it was bad wiring, nope that wasn’t it so he popped the hood and realized it was my light connection circuits, he kindly said he’ll be right back to go get a new plug in for my left trailer light, he solved the problem, mind you it was in the freezing cold rainstorm. Great customer service thank you!
Wishing there was a 0 star rating, but then again, the staff was nice. We went to get a hitch added to our minivan, and were told they had someone ahead of me and they’d add it. 4 hours after i made it to the appointment that i scheduled online (manager Lisa Struck was disturbed that she had to find out she had a hitch installation when she got to work) i was told they needed me to come get my van and find a mechanic to take the bolts off of my van, because they’ve already broken two of them. Still unsure what they’re referring to, Lisa tells me that she told me to take the van to have the bolts removed (which she didn’t) and they wouldn’t finish my van and sent me on my way. They offered no discount, nor apology, or anything. As a human being, and woman that doesn’t work in this industry, i would have expected a different outcome, even if there were an issue. Will take my business to budget or ANY body else other than this company that hires people who waste time, cause damage to vehicles, and clearly have never taken any customer service training, or problem solving methods that most successful companies should pride themselves on. Do better!
Ive rented from this U-Haul a couple times now and besides the computers being slow.... Micah is an amazing worker!!!! Fastest and most efficient worker here!! always nice and he knows what he is doing. I hav seen him go back and forth on two computers helping two customers at the same time. Keep up the work!!
I called ahead to verify that this location did propane refills an was told they did. Drove home an brought the tank up only to be told that their propane system had a leak an they arent doing refills an havent for a few days! When i told the woman that i wish they wouldve told me that on the phone she said i talked to their corporate office an not the local office. I looked at her name an she was the woman i spoke to on the phone! Horrible customer service!!!
Reserved a truck and they didnt have it when I went to pick it up. They gave me a different truck , the gas tank wasnt even full so its hard to get it back at where they want it. I put extra gas just so I wouldnt get charged and they still charged me 24 dollars for being under the mark (supposedly). Its a scam with these guys. Wouldnt recomend anybody using Uhaul as a moving service. Last time I use them. Wish I could give zero stars. I dont remember them doing this before. Sad that they are willing to lose customers for a petty gas scam fee.
I had a GREAT experience here! The staff on hand were friendly, professional, and willing to help out! Granted, the van and trailer they recommended for towing my truck was lacking a bit (trailer was sufficient, but a bit small, and the van struggled a bit pulling in the mountains), it was enough to get the job done. THANK YOU for helping get my truck back home where it belongs!
Had a great experience here. Needed a tow hitched put on my truck. Computer said a universal hitch, but Jake went out of his way to find a hitch made for my truck and at a cheaper price. Saved me $100. All the guys there seem to really care about what they do and making sure everything is done safely. They were a blessing to me.
Not pleased with the hitch install I received at this facility. Very unprofessional job: I could have done better myself. Main power wire for the wiring relay was just strung underneath my car held up with zip ties. Anything on the road could snag that and rip it clean off. Hitch was also not mounted according to the instructions that the manager proceeded to print off for me to prove what they did was correct. I brought this up and the fed me a line that if they did it the way the instructions said, the hitch would rub on my car and damage it. Im still wondering how a hitch, being a permanently affixed item on my car, would damage it or void any sort of warranty when the factory instructions are followed. Brought the hitch to my mechanic and they agreed with me and fixed it in 30 minutes. My mechanic also informed me they decided not to use lock washers with regular nuts for the install. What a joke, vibrations could loosen those nuts in 20 miles. Waste of labor money. The only plus I have is the people were generally friendly up until this incident. I wont be going back to this branch.EDIT: Bumping down to one star. Reason being my trailer light harness was also wired backwards, meaning if I indicated I was turning right on my car, the trailer would indicate left. This is a sad sad mistake for a “professional” install, let alone all the other BS they pulled. Should have done it all myself and saved time and money, never again.
Rented a truck 1/4 tank of gas when I left their facility. Returned it with over a 1/4 tank, was charged almost $50 because they claimed I was below a 1/4. Stick around until they check your truck in, this isnt the first review for this. Cant get ahold of anyone unless you want to sit on hold forever, Penske, here I come.
Went in for my scheduled hitch appointment and it turns out the guy who installs them took off early. They asked me to come in the next day (Friday) for a 7AM appointment and when I got there I find out they double booked my appointment. I leave the car there, and come back around 4pm to find that they did not install my hitch because the part was not available (even though I had called ahead to confirm it was in stock). Then they wanted me to come back on Monday when the part would supposedly be available. To top it all off, it was very clear they couldnt care less about continually putting me off and giving me the run around. Horrible customer service!
If you are okay with having employees stare at you like they havent ever seen another human being in their lifetime, this is the place for you!. The tattooed guy just started at me as though I were performing magic by purchasing packing materials. I actually had to ask him if he were open and assisting customers because he seemed to be assigned the daunting task of holding down the counter. He didnt respond by any other means besides typing on the key board. The only time he spoke was to inform me of my total.Really un-welcoming, especially since I had just purchased boxes at another Uhaul location where the staff were all friendly and even helped load my vehicle.Thankfully I wont have to visit this location again.
Bunch of clowns, Burlingame Uhaul should Should fire their staff! Lot was full of trailers and they tried to tell me that all the trailers were rented out and on the road. After telling the guy to look at the so called high tech lot monitor where all the so called “rented out and on the road trailers were”, he said he couldn’t help me and walked away. I’ve used u-haul for many years and would NEVER go this location again.
“Burlingame U-Haul...destroying the u-haul image, one 20 minute wait at a time”Pretty much par for the course for this group of clowns. Want tape...20 minutes! A truck, 20 minutes!! Propane, 20 minutes!!! It doesn’t matter what you are there for, double, maybe triple, the time expected to make sure you have enough time to deal with the circus.Today was just another episode in the comedy of issues I’ve dealt with here. Walked in and knew immediately we were going to have an issue. 2 customers in the lobby and both said they’d been there for 20 minutes with no sign of a U-Haul employee. They have this super sophisticated surveillance system with screens showing like 6 cameras around the property and honestly you couldn’t see any employees anywhere. Finally a disgruntled customer started scoping the area out back and found 2 of the clowns. Of course they had nothing nice to say or smiles to share when they were called in to take care of the 4 customers.Really silly to be honest.
The uhaul employee who connected the trailer I rented to my vehicle did not tighten the coupler, causing the trailer to come off the ball and run into the back of my vehicle. I called them as soon as it happened, there was no apology or admission of guilt, and no acknowledgment that they put my life and the life of other drivers a risk. Not impressed...
8-22-18. Just stopped up for a propane refill, stood in line behind a couple people for 10-15 minutes before even seeing an employee. She finally walks in and asks if anyone was here for propane, I said I was. Her response, I dont have time for that, I have reservations and others in line. The people in line in front of me just looked at me with the disbelief of how unprofessional she was. I couldnt believe how rude she was to a paying customer, said ok and walked out. I guess Ill have to find me a new place to get propane refilled.
This company you cant trust they will play you for your money pay attenchen to what there taking from you they took an extra $140 from me and i payed with a card. They said i was suppose to get my money back after I took back my uhual after my stuff been there a year. I took it back didnt get my money called corprit and still havent gotten my money back they said i would. If your a black or latina they will try to play you pay attachen there snakes. Never will use the company ever again. And last time i went in there it was one staff at first and a lot if people trying to get servsed. I smelled weed when i pulled up not thinking anything intell after a while aot off the staff came back all doE eyed. They are snakes and fens working hear Becareful.
A boy by the name of alex was very rude to my wife. It started by us renting a trailer, that was fine untill we loaded it up and found out the trailer was broke. No big deal except the fact it was full of furniture. So my wife proceded to drive it to the store and ask for a new trailer. They where a bit hesitant but got her a new trailer. By the way it was blizzarding out and very cold. So here is where alex comes in, he was in the process of helping her with the trailer than decided to give up. The employees of the store told my wife it would be her problem to deal with and the manager told them not to help! I didnt care about the broken trailer it was the way it was handled. So I do not recomend this uhaul facility to anyone!
On 4/12/2021 I used a uhal truck just to transport couches less than 25 total round trip. Mr. Ryan Miller decided that it ok to charge a extra $25 fee to my account because he found a mask on the side of the door “he considered this a cleaning fee” He even went the extra mile to take a picture of the mask on the side of the door. When I politely asked if that was even a reasonable charge or to show me where in the contract states that a mask is considered a extreme cleaning charge he rudely scream saying it’s necessary!! Is this the kind of business you running? Discrimination at its finest
Had an 8am appointment that was estimated to take 3hrs. Get there to find out they wont be able to begin working on it for possibly another hr. Because they overbooked on appointment.So my 3hr appointment now gets turned into 4Whats the point of making an appointment if they cant keep on schedule???
It rook 3 days to put in a hitch, also when I went back to see if they had it done on my APPOITMENT they still didnt finish it.so they say I have to pay more money for another hitch due to the fact that their hitch that was supposed to be on my car days ago still didnt come in and i have to pay for it? Makes no sense. Worst u Haul Ive ever been to. BAD BUSINESS !!

2022-05-29Not one to leave a lot of reviews but this was by far one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had. From start to finish the workers were vulgar and careless. Delayed my equipment pickup by nearly 45 minutes into my reserved time frame, were incapable of communicating properly to us, and ignorant. Regardless of occupation this type of behavior is unacceptable. Go to literally any other U-haul location.

2022-05-24I used to get all my propane from this place, they were always helpful and respectful. In the last two years no one cares, their customers service people are rude and obnoxious. Yesterday was the last time that I will ever go back, they never have anyone able to fill the RV with propane and they usually only have one person working. So sad that this happened.

2022-05-10Went to fill a propane tank......pushed the bell and waited 10 minutes....NO response........pushed bell again and waited another 5 minutes..Still no response .....Went inside just in case bell wasnt working........2 employees at the counter 1 of them was taking care of a customer....the other 1 was playing on his phone......he looked at me and actually said yea ????????.....I said.....I need a tank filled..must be your button isnt working.......he said...someone will be out there in awhile and went right back to his phone ....Sat waiting and no one came out....another customer pulled up with a tank to get filled and waited also......we both ended up leaving due to poor serviceI guess playing on his phone was more important than the people that pay his wages.......never going back which is sad because theyre close to home....not the only place in town to fill tanks terrible customer service

2022-01-07Long story short the mileage on my truck was incorrect as well as the gas level. I returned the truck before 8pm and no one was there (despite saying they would be). I filled out my form correctly online instead of falsifying it and made a claim. When I went in to speak with someone a few mornings later, the manager, Ryan, was rude and very short with me. I asked them to pull up the previous travel log of the person who rented the truck before me and they refused. In total I was charged over $30 more than what I used the truck for and was given very impolite service. Do NOT use this business.

I hope Uhaul appreciate$ him as well.Management: if you truly believe that success is all about who reps you, and youd be wise to hang onto this guy or I might try and lure him away.As for the rental itself, I needed an auto-transport. I was glad to find that this store was maintaining their inventory well. All lights worked and it had a very good set of tires on it. When the state highway patrol pulled up behind me i remember thinking go ahead pull me over, you wont find anything wrong with this setup!...but he looked it over and went right on his way.Thanks Uhaul...and Jared....I appreciate your efforts.Be safe and Merry Christmas!

2021-12-05Location is the worst. At least the day people don’t know how to do their job or do they care including the owner. I needed a cargo trailer and wasn’t informed I would need to schedule an appointment for the hitch to be installed until I had been charged me for the trailer and hitch. Then it took 5 days to be refunded. They told me I would have to reschedule that they could offer me no other option. They didn’t even bother to try and better the situation like josh did at the 68th street location that not only found us a hitch at another location but was able to install it and actually went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of. And we were able to move as scheduled. 28th and Burlingame uhaul either needs to step it up or go flip burgers somewhere if they can’t grow a functioning brain or care about what they’re doing. People can’t always afford to be double charged over a thousand dollars.

2021-11-21Ive been renting trucks and trailers from this location for 15 years. No the owner of this location doesnt care about the customer or quality of service. Ive repeatedly seen nothing but disrespect and incompetence from staff here. I even saw a worker cuss out and threaten to beat down a customer once for pulling too close to him in the return lane. Its almost comical how terrible the staff treats customers here. If i didnt live so close i would never go back.

2021-10-02The worst experience with uhaul ever. They overcharged my card. Then when they tried to refund me they charged it again. And now they are ignoring me. Dont bother cleaning or filling your truck up with gas either. They will pretend you never did that and charge you for it. What a joke.

2021-06-01Store Manager was very unprofessional. Discriminating and taking advantage of people by up-charging customer $25 fee for cleaning. Look at picture attached were the manager is claiming that required a $25 fee for removal of a MASK! How is this different than leaving a piece of paper? Not reasonable. I do not recommend this location. This is not the first time I or someone I know has issues with them trying to scam.

2020-08-22Just like everyone else has posted, DO NOT use this place. The staff are ignorant & rude. Theyre getting paid by the hour, so they dont care how slow they move & they make a point to let you know that as well.Save yourself the headache & use the one off 68th & Clyde Park
